Grace was awesome when I came in to register. Had a lot of great information and was very helpful.

Was not given access code nor was it online. Had to take my U-Haul to my home overnight which cost me time, effort, and money (about $100 after gas and mile fees from U-Haul company added up) as I couldn't access my unit and no one was available to give me the code until the next morning. I was offered a pathetic free lock as consolation instead of being comped 2 rental months to compensate me for the money I had lost due to their incompetence. Additionally cost of rental does not include an additional $16/month insurance fee that they force you to pay. read more

I received two follow-up text messages and responded to the second one and called about the space and rates to confirm. Low and behold their rates were good for six days and they no longer had the space we addressed and the new rate was about 30% higher. I said this sounds like a bait and switch to me. This is a very safe place for women who want store items here you will feel safe. The manager Alexis. Is very nice. We had a miscommunication and mis understanding between my husband and I and the managers at the place due to our learning challenges they gave us information and we processed it differently.. we have a hard time with our learning challenges its embarrassing sometimes to ask people to dumb down what the paper work says or what it means or ask them to explain it more in detail so we can understand it better. We didn't and it turned into a mini silent war between us all. Though we are being asked to leave due to too many warnings we didn't know we got or miss understood them as warnings.. not everyone can tell we have learning challenges and cerebral palsy. We at the end found it to be safest storage facility in poway. I just recommend if you have learning challenges or any disability let them know ahead of time they are running a business and won't look for that Alexis is super nice and I can definitely would recommend talking to her she seemed to understand us is very willing to help. I just wish poway had a program where people were taught how to communicate with people and their invisible and non invisible disabilities I think this could help sooooo many businesses. read more

I just got assisted by Chris renting out a storage unit and this is by far one of the best customer experiences I've had (of all time) Chris was really quick and thorough in explaining the rental process, he showed me my unit, showed me how to put the lock on (offered me a free one with yelp check in) and even offered to hold a spare key for my friend to pick up at a later time. I was in the office while Grace was on the phone and I noticed the amazing customer service she was offering to the customer on the phone too. She seems extraordinarily warm and kind in such a rare way. They were very accommodating, I was driving from a few hours away and I was stuck in traffic and almost didn't make it before they closed, so they emailed me all the information I needed and even set up someone to call so when I got there I can check in over the phone. Edit: management has changed since my last interaction with them. The current manager is more appreciative of customers. I'm still concerned with the practice of automatic yearly rent increases, but at least the current manager will talk about it and work with you. *** Long term renters beware. I've had a space here for years, and every year they send the same patronizing letter about how they must "reluctantly" increase rent "periodically". Periodically means exactly once a year. Being a loyal customer means nothing to them, as I'm being charged the same as a new rental. I once complained about this practice and they basically told me I could leave. The team working here is friendly and helpful. I have had a unit here since I got to San Diego back in July 2019. I would recommend this place! They offer military discounts too. They can't really help but raise their costs due to inflation, so while it's a bummer, that doesnt mean theyre evil. Just keep that in mind. I have downsized my unit from a 7.5x10 to a 5x10 in order to save $60 per month in order to help with the rising rent costs. Times are tough, but so are we! read more

My husband and I stopped by to obtain info and advice on 2 different sized units. We were assisted by Grace who is the epitome of amazing customer service. She happily explained the process and showed us the two different sized units. She showed pride in her work, genuine care and made sure we were taken care of. My husband handled the paper work while I waited in the car with our kids and when all was done, Grace came to the front door to make sure she was personally able to say bye to our family and to let her know once again if she can help us with any other questions or concern with the units. Thank you, Grace for your genuine kindness and great customer service. The building, elevator, and units we saw were clean and well maintained. All walk space has adequate space to maneuver whatever you're moving in and out. There are also complimentary carts at first floor near the elevator in the event you don't have a dolly. The unit we ended up getting isn't climate controlled, but seems to be vented well. Ventilation and climate in the unit was a concern because we have items we didn't want to get damaged if it reached a really temp, especially during these summer days. Great staff and the building was well managed. Decided to go with this storage unit because it was one of the cheapest options nearby, especially with the discount they have on the first month, which was great for people like me who only needed short term storage. I completely forgot cancel my rental after the first month, but since I was still in the grace period, one of the staff, Pinkie, helped me with canceling my rental remotely and even got me a full refund for the second month! I booked the unit online and then went to the office to finalize the rental of the storage unit. Jessica was extremely service-oriented, professional, and welcoming. The storage unit itself was clean, secure, and easily accessible. As I was moving my things out, I was able to get a reimbursement for my payment because my final month hadn't begun yet. Claudia at the front desk was extremely helpful, courteous, and efficient in helping me with my vacating form and reimbursement.
