As first-time movers, my husband and I were understandably nervous about the process, but Packing Bees made it such a positive experience from start to finish. Peter was warm, welcoming, and professional from our very first consultation. He took the time to thoroughly explain everything, ensuring complete transparency throughout the process with no surprise fees. He was also incredibly patient and understanding regarding the moving situation we were dealing with, which helped ease a lot of our stress. We were especially grateful for the excellent availability--Peter was able to arrange a moving team for us on short notice. On moving day, the three movers who assisted us were polite, courteous, and respectful. They handled our belongings with care and took extra precautions when shrink-wrapping our furniture to ensure everything was properly protected during the move. Even in the truck, items were secured tight to ensure a safe travel to our destination Overall, the entire experience--from the initial consultation to the final box being moved--was smooth, professional, and pleasant. I highly recommend Packing Bees to anyone, especially first-time movers looking for a reliable company and a stress-free moving experience. Thank you to Peter, the moving team and Packing Bees for making our move such a positive one! read more

I have used Packing Bees twice in the last 18 months. Professional and extremely hard working. Not a thing broken. They make a stressful day quite easy. Highly recommend!! read more

A friend recommended Packing Bees and they were great! Spoke with Peter on the phone and he answered all my questions and set up the appointment. Movers arrived on the early side of the set time window and got right to work. L was great. I was concerned everything wouldn't fit into my POD, but he got it all in with room to spare. Happy with the service. read more

Thank you for your response. I was actually the one who requested the information about the formal process. I was then informed that it would take longer and the reimbursement would be .60 per pound. Again the only thing we wanted was for the refrigerator to be repaired. We were not seeking any type of monetary compensation. When I called to follow up about the damage that is when I was told by Milo that the washer was already disconnected and we did not originally request the refrigerator moved. During that phone call I asked if a technician could be sent out to inspect the washing machine. Moving is stressful enough without the additional tasks of looking for repair technicians for appliances damaged during a move. We booked with this particular moving company since we felt peace of mind after I was told they were fully licensed and insured. read more

The Best Move We've Ever Had - Start to Finish Perfection We can't recommend this moving team highly enough. From the moment we first reached out to Peter to schedule the move, everything was clear, professional, and smooth. The estimate we received was accurate--no hidden costs, no last-minute bargaining, just honest and transparent pricing exactly as promised. German and his crew were phenomenal. Friendly, appreciative, and incredibly hardworking, they handled our entire 4-bedroom home with care, energy, and professionalism. They worked almost nonstop, asked thoughtful questions along the way, and loaded two large trucks with precision. Unloading was just as smooth, and they had everything loaded, moved, and unloaded in just 10 hours. What stood out most--besides their speed and efficiency--was their attitude. Not a single complaint, even with heavy appliances and toolboxes that other movers in the past have grumbled about. These guys were total pros: kind, calm, and genuinely pleasant to spend a long day with. This was, without a doubt, the easiest, most seamless move we've ever had. If you're looking for trustworthy, capable movers who actually care--look no further. Huge thanks to German, Peter, and the entire team! read more

If you're looking for reliable, fast working movers, you can stop the search right here. I probably talked to at least half a dozen moving companies. Most want to charge you for this and that and the other thing but these guys made it real simple. Eddie and Jax came in to do a pre-move because we have a lot of stuff. We just finished our second move. Everything went perfectly. Super hard-working and friendly staff. Respectable with everything. I wish I would move yearly to have these guys back. Totally worth the money spent. read more

These guys work hard! I'm so glad I hired somebody to move our stuff! I'm not a spring chicken and I'm sure I would be in traction if I tried to do it myself read more

These guys were fast and courteous. No monkeying around did the work and got DONE! That's it.

This company Packing Bees were not our first mover they were a back up to the first company (see my other reviews) that cancelled while standing on the property the day of the move. Packing Bees movers came the very next day, and moved everything without a complaint and in less time than allotted with efficiency and care. Highly recommend for a quick in town move especially! Friendly and kind too. read more

I've used this company a few times and they've historically been good. Until now. THEY ARE REFUSING TO COVER MAJOR DAMAGES CAUSED DURING THEIR SERVICE. They permanently damaged a significant amount of luxury vinyl flooring as a result of aggressively pushing and sliding a refrigerator across the floor (which is scratch resistant - so the amount of negligence and force applied is absurd). I warned them to stop three times and they became frustrated and pushed harder. They offered a $150 discount which only covers about half the materials needed and none of the labor. My legal team and cc company are taking it from here, this business is UNETHICAL and should be avoided. read more

The movers showed up on time and were very thorough and efficient. They made sure that everything was properly protected and secured. They were prompt in arriving at the destination and were quickly unloading and putting items in place. They assembled everything and they were very pleasant, helpful and friendly. They were helping my parents move into an assisted living facility and were wonderful to work with. The price was very fair for the work done. I cannot recommend them highly enough! read more

It's about time I wrote a review on Packing Bees Movers. I used them in January 2023 to move from my old apartment to my new apartment. 1 person with 1 bedroom worth of items to move. A quick search on Yelp, and I found Packing Bees Movers. I ordered the U-Haul Apartment Moving Kit and had most items already packed by the time the 2 guys came on Moving Day. The only items left were the "big items" (i.e. bed, couch, etc). The 2 guys were quick and efficient. Moved everything into truck within an hour. Drove and moved everything into my new apartment within an hour or so. I had pre-labeled by boxes to denote which room they go into and the 2 movers moved the boxes to the appropriate rooms (as my new apartment was bigger). Service was professional - and the 2 guys were careful with my boxes. Worth the value! I had a good idea of how many boxes I would have and Packing Bees Movers gave an estimate based on my guesstimate. I was on target with the boxes I had guesstimated, so I paid exactly what we agreed on. No issues there! I appreciate the effort! Thank You! read more

Packing Bees Movers were excellent to work with. German, Sula, and Taras handled pickups from multiple locations efficiently and completed the move in less time than expected. They worked quickly while still being careful and professional, and made sure to point out an item that was already damaged before loading, which I greatly appreciated. Reliable, thorough, and efficient -- highly recommend. read more

Absolutely Outstanding - Packing Bees Movers Made It All So Easy! We had the pleasure of working with Packing Bees Movers for three separate moves over the course of four weeks, and we honestly couldn't be more impressed. From start to finish, their team was professional, efficient, courteous, and incredibly reliable. Move #1: Our initial move was from our old house to our new home. The team arrived right on time, carefully loaded all of our packed boxes and furniture, and handled everything with such respect and attention to detail. They worked quickly and efficiently, and everything arrived at our new home in perfect condition. Move #2: A week later, they helped us with a more complex move -- first, they moved items from our storage unit into our new home, and then, from both our new home and the storage unit, they transported items to our daughter and son-in-law's new house. The coordination and execution were flawless. The team didn't miss a beat and made what could have been a stressful day incredibly smooth and well-organized. Move #3: Finally, they moved our daughter and son-in-law from their apartment into their new home. Just like the first two moves, the crew was right on time, handled the furniture and boxes with great care, and had them completely settled into their new place in no time. While we handled all the packing ourselves, Packing Bees Movers took care of all the heavy lifting, loading and unloading everything with speed and care. They were friendly, helpful, and clearly take great pride in doing a job well done. We are so grateful for their consistency and professionalism throughout this busy month of transitions. If you're looking for a moving company that is dependable, efficient, and a true pleasure to work with look no further than Packing Bees Movers. We will absolutely will be using them again for any future moves! Thank you, Packing Bees! You made a hectic time feel easy and even enjoyable. -- A very happy (and finally settled!) family read more

I did a lot of research and chose Packing Bees based on their reviews. They replied back right away and explained all the pricing upfront. Everything was smooth and they did a great job. The four guys that moved me were professional and courteous. I would highly recommend them! read more

First, I want to say that Peter is exceptional. I have made two moves using this company, and the reason that I picked it a second time, is because Peter worked with me on pricing and kept his word. I also like that the pricing is easy: it is all up front/ out-the-door, with no random extra fees. In my first move, the packers did a pretty good job, except for wrapping the china (they just put pieces in a box floating around with crumbled wrap, rather than wrapping each piece individually). When I called Peter and sent pictures, he sent two employees the next day to ameliorate the issue. In my second move, the movers also did a good job, but came without supplies that were promised to me. Peter quickly sent out another employee to be sure that we had what we were promised and needed expeditiously. I should note that I was concerned that a different employee tried to have me complete a blank contract. Clearly, I would not do that until it was properly filled out, and he then complied. The same employee also challenged the rate that Peter had given and also that the rate was honored with a check. Instead of working while he was waiting, he said he was just waiting until he heard from his boss (the other employee, Sula, respectfully worked during that time). Peter was able to confirm that I was indeed provided a certain rate and could pay by check. Overall, I am pretty happy with Packing Bee Movers, but the best part was knowing that Peter was easy to work with, made sure our agreement was upheld, and worked to fix any problems that arose. I appreciate and am grateful for his friendly, yet professional asisistance, and look forward to working with this company in the future, as long as Peter is still working with them (hopefully in this capacity or higher up). read more

I have moved a lot and this was by far the hardest 2 bedroom apartment move, as it involved a lot of walking from the unit to the truck, 2nd floor, no elevators in both locations. We hired a three men crew, showed up on time, very polite, they did a great job, nothing broke, disassembled and re-assembled even the furniture pieces I thought they would not be able to. It took 8 hours instead of normal 4-5, because of the unit access, the guys had a great attitude throughout, despite everyone being tired. I appreciate the great service. read more

Serik, Ben and Nenad did an excellent job on our move! We were moving out of a 1 bedroom apartment and hired Packing Bees for this job. They were, fast, careful and efficient with everything. They made sure to carefully saran wrap and blanket wrap all the furniture before hauling it to their truck (without being asked). The job took longer than expected because I hadn't packed everything into boxes ahead of time, but they provided additional boxes to help with this. Would highly recommend to everyone! read more

~ Recently myself, Daughters and Fur Babies needed Movers for a Local move. I was on Yelp searching for Movers and I found Packing Bees Movers. I read the postive reviews. I was impressed! And I called them and asked about pricing for a Local moved. I spoked with Peter. He was professional , kind and answered my questions about our upcoming move. My move in date was pushed back 5 days and Packing Bees Movers were still available to accommodate our move. The morning of moving day I was provided with window of 8:00 am - 10:00 am. I asked Peter if they could arrive earlier. He responded that they would try. Packing Bees Movers arrived 8:30 am. Perfect timing for us! The Three movers assessesd our residence , storage and garage. Immediately they began to move our items. The movers were professional , detailed , neat and hardworking movers! Our move costed more than quoted. No regrets on that ( we have a lot of items ). We moved into a Tri level Townhouse with Three flights of stairs. Packing Bees Movers carefully move our furniture , clothing etc into our Townhouse meticulous! I referred them to a individual who is moving in September 2025. If we need anything move in the future I will be contacting Packing Bees Movers! read more

Bait and switch company....very other company we had estimate said 2 trucks...packing bee said one truck. They told me they do another assessment the morning of the move and then will tell me they needed another truck....obviously I said yes to them because the price was the best, then when they would have came in the morning, I would have said ok and paid the extra fee....total bait and switch. They will get you with low rate to sign then increase price after movers are already there!!! That's wrong...be very careful hiring this company! read more

I can't express how amazing this company is. I had an awful experience with an out-of-state moving company that raised prices at the last min causing me to have to rent a u-haul and hire movers to help me pack it. I called and these guys arrived next day and busted their behinds getting my place all packed up. They were extremely professional and helpful. I'm so grateful for their help. I will also add that nothing broke when I unpacked. They had everything packed carefully and nothing broke. Thank you!!!!!!!!! read more

We used them as our movers since Yelp provided a high review and I had a good feeling with them especially after talking to them on the phone and giving some good service of what is going on and what the estimate would be, which was going to be $400-500. When we started the move, they seemed pretty friendly and said things should be good but wow, I was honestly surprised. They were able to load everything in their "rental truck". And we had some packages showing to have certain sides up but they didn't read any of those and so a lot of things spilled inside, which was such a hassle to deal with. They were also complaining about how heavy a lot of these items were and that they were going to charge us more for it... So the price came out to almost $900. And then they called me later that week saying they charged me wrong as they calculated for 2 people instead of 3 people and said to "zelle" them... I did pay for the extra but it was super shady and just not the great experience, especially for how much it came out to be. Not use them ever again... If anyone will use them, please be sure to know how much it'll come out otherwise you'll be surprised.... read more

My husband and I bought a house and needed to hire some help to move out of the 3 bed, 2.5 bath townhome we were living in. (For context, we had moved into the townhome 6 months prior when I was 5 weeks postpartum and it was the worst/most challenging experience ever.) We looked online at companies that offered pack/unpack services and saw Coastal Movers, Packing Bees Movers, and a few others. We got a quote from Coastal Movers (~$6k). This was already out of our budget, but when we started looking at the horrific reviews (absolutely everything damaged and most customers incensed about the process), we knew we had to look elsewhere. Packing Bees had 5 stars, which seemed insane to begin with, but the quality of the reviews was enough for us to feel confident about moving forward with them. Peter (who helped me place the order) was kind, informative, and immediately responsive. The team who helped us with the pack, move, and unpack were excellent and WORKED THEIR ASSES OFF. They carefully packed/labeled everything, disassembled and reassembled all our furniture, and helped us save weeks, if not months of effort. So grateful for their hard work. 5 stars! read more

My husband and I have used this company twice. We had to move from a home we shared with friends, to a rental, and now to a home we just bought. These guys are extremely hard working. They lifted some pretty heavy items which include two adjustable beds sizes Cal King, and Full. They both times helped us move stuff from our old home to storage and then what we took with us to our rental. Then we hired them again because we liked their work that much! They again took two days to help us move all of our stuff from storage and the rental (a two day job) to our new home. They are polite and professional! I'd recommend them to anyone. Please try them out you will love them too. read more

These were the best movers I ever used. My move consist of two parts. Part 1 unloading the storage unit into an ABF truck. Part two packing and loading an apartment into the packing base truck, dry to ABF truck, unload packing his truck into ABF truck. These guys were extremely thorough with packing my desk, which is electric and glass and all of my other furniture. I did most myself, however, the fact that they took the time to use cardboard, blankets, and saran wrap without me having to request it is very unusual. More often than not, I have to stop and ask somebody If they could take a minute to wrap something with saran wrap, so that all the pieces together or give me a second to tape something up that I might have missed before they arrived. I felt these movers notice these things, and took the initiative to take care of them before I even noticed this was two years ago so I don't know how the staff has changed. They packed the ABF truck, amazingly well. As a matter of fact, after getting rid of many of my belongings the next time I packed the ABF truck with new movers In a different city and state, the amount of space that was used in square footage was significantly more. This speaks to how well they packed the truck. I also appreciated that they are very upfront about their pricing and noting if somebody took a break. They were honest when we concluded how much time they spent to rounding up. Accordingly, I found many people since then, especially using movinghelp.com are very sly and try to overcharge. I did have one criticism which is that, despite wanting to respect other people's religion as someone who's paying for a service I would hope that all of the workers on site will be working the entire time. I understand in my particular move that the other men worked very hard, and did not slack off however, if someone takes Time to pray, or handle religious commitments while I'm paying them for a service it doesn't sit well for me. I know I would never be given that option if I was performing a job. read more

Usually moving companies are a miss - lost or damaged furniture and walls - you name it. This time my luck must have turned as my experience with Packing Bees Movers was absolutely flawless from start to finish. They had 4 guys come out and move ~20 pieces of furniture including a large China cabinet and upright piano down 2 stories. Not only did they get the furniture to my new place safely, they also did it efficiently, done in ~4 hours (local move)! Packing Bees Movers were friendly and efficient. I can definitely see why they were so highly reviewed on here. We were scheduled for a 8-10am window, and they arrived promptly at 9:30. All four of the guys were very courteous and respectful. We still had a few things that couldn't be done before the move, e.g. dissembling our bed, and they repeatedly offered (and did) to help us with these extra tasks as well. One of the common complaints you hear about moving companies is that they, "move slow because they are being paid by the hour." That could not have been further from the truth with Packing Bees. They worked extremely hard for the 8 hours that they moved us, stopping only to take a quick lunch break & water breaks. Everything arrived safely in one piece. I was nervous about them moving my 75" TV since the largest moving box I could find was for 70" TV's, but that made it safely as well. We won't be moving for quite some time, but we will definitely be calling Packing Bees Movers the next time we do. read more
