If you can judge a laundry service based on stain fighting power alone, then Reid's is 5 stars all the way. Just the other day, they eliminated unsightly scuff marks and even brightened my white summer Ralph Lauren Purple Label pants that I adore. Sweat stains on a black shirt? Sunscreen on a white collar? Not a problem. Reid's has successfully removed buffalo wing sauce on my white dress shirt. Twice. They truly are the stain fighting masters. Your order will usually be ready in two days. If you insist on next day service, they'll go ahead and do it for you. Reid's is a little more expensive than their competition, but certainly not the priciest. I avoid cut rate cleaners and their hit or miss service. You get what you pay for, so for a little extra I can sleep at night knowing they aren't going to destroy my clothing. I still utilize Parkcrest for extreme specialty items, such as my suits or shirts with intricate bead work (Yes, I know, I own shirts with intricate bead work). I used to go by the old maxim that if it had an Italian label, it went to Parkcrest. But since Reid's has never botched a dry cleaning job, my Gucci and Armani have found their way to Reid's and been brought home safely. The service is always friendly and professional, and the store is always clean. Reid's is also a great resource for minor alterations such as replacing the snaps, pant hooks, or buttons. There may be a minor charge, but when you're like me and couldn't mend clothing even with a gun pointed to your head, it's no big deal. If you have as much stuff laundered and dry cleaned as I do, it'd be wise to use their sticker book. If you fill it up after a while, you can turn it in for $5 off your order. Doesn't sound like much, but hey--that's a cocktail or appetizer at Happy Hour, right? If anything should go wrong (which it probably won't), there are business cards up front for both the manager and the owner, Doyle Reid. Seeing as they probably never want to hear from you, I assume they strive hard at the grassroots level not to screw up to begin with. But it's nice to know they're available. Posted inside is their Top Ten List as to why one should use Reid's. It's accurate, and pretty much sums all this up. 5 stars for flawless results. read more

Im sure they do good work and are conveniently located.. But, they are just not very nice.. Customer service is a big deal in this day and age and they just miss the boat with that on the regular.. read more

They use to be great but are no longer reliable and do not oversee operations very well.

Frustrated EVERY time I pick up my clothes: -They do not pay attention to details. Clothes must be redone over and over -They use pins and hanger hooks that damage clothing -They incorrectly press clothes causing permanent creases in the wrong places -Unprofessional staff -Pricey, & prices are not listed Would someone please recommend a good dry cleaners to me?!?!?!?!! read more

Overpriced. $20 for 2 simple dress shirts and 2 slacks. This place does nothing, ABSOLUTELY Nothing special worth that sort of premium pricing. $6.66/pant is absurd. Take your business elsewhere. read more

Reids cleaners is the best! I've been taking my dry cleaning to them for years. They really do a great job on delicate items and sweaters. They pay attention to the details. read more

Dropped my dry cleaning off on a Tuesday, planning on using a coupon I received in the mail. The coupon was for five dollars off your dry cleaning. I let the girl know when I dropped off the cleaning and showed her the coupon. She said OK bring it back when you pick up your clothes. I've just picked up my clothes, and right after I handed her the cash I pulled out my coupon to show her. She had already pressed the cash out button on the register, so she told me I would have to use the coupon next time. I'm not sure why she could not just give me five dollars off? I'm pretty sure she didn't understand how to give a refund on the register so now it was my fault. I could not have told the girl about my coupon anymore than I did. I told her I would not be back. I would have taken my dry cleaning to a different place if not for the coupon. Which really irritates me. read more

Great service. Ready in about 48-72 hours. But *yikes* -- pricing was a little insane. Six shirts (laundry) = more than $20 after taxes.

Reid's doesn't have their prices listed and they have you pay after they've dry cleaned your clothes. Make sure you ask for a quote before leaving your stuff here. They are stupid expensive! I paid $21 for three items! I took these same exact three items to Rick's cleaners and it was only $9. Also, the lady working the desk is not very friendly. read more

I originally wrote a long, drawn out review, but decided to cut it short. The basic story is that I left a suit to be cleaned because it was promised to be ready the next day and it wasn't - it would not be ready until Monday because it was mistakenly labeled or bagged. After conveying to both the employee and someone he called on the phone the importance of getting the suit back today because my husband was leaving for a business trip tomorrow, they offered to go to the cleaning facility (which was already closed) and look for it. They then delivered it to my house and gave me 2 gift cards for future services. Granted, they made an error and the suit is not cleaned, but they did go to the trouble of rectifying the problem to the best of their abilities and returned the suit as I requested. In a time when most customer complaints are met by apathy and disdain, it was a nice change for a business to show they cared and respond appropriately. I will certainly give Reid's another chance. read more

I love this dry cleaning business. I've been going there for years. If you have clothes that aren't special, then this is not the cleaners for you. We went there initially because my husband was tired of gettiing his shirts back with his sleeves and collars shrunken and his buttons cracked. So we have no problem paying a little more to have his shirts laundered properly. I have to wear white blouses and when I took my blouses to other cleaners, it wasn't long before they started coming back dingy. Now I take them to Reid's and have them dry cleaned and they stay white. In the long run, paying the additional $$ to have them cleaned at Reids saves me money. Thank you Reids. read more

I just moved from SoCal (sorry, one more of those). Reid's Anderson Mill was close to our house. I brought in two silk blouses to be drycleaned and two pairs of jeans to be hemmed. One silk blouse cost $13.50. The woman didn't know why. She first guessed "embellishments." Nope. Then she guessed "stain?" Shouldn't she or someone know? A week later, I returned for the jeans. $16.50 for a hem? (I paid $10 at the most in expensive San Diego.) I asked for both to be hemmed to 30.5. One was 30.5; the other was 31. (I measured when I got home.) Grrrr. I'm giving two stars (instead of one) because the employees were nice and (sort of) tried to help. read more

Awful! They were over two hours late with my service and continued to lie to me saying the delivery would be there in five minutes.

I have used Reid's at this location and their previous location on Anderson Mill for some 15 years after a rather unpleasant run-in with a Jack Brown's in Round Rock when an employee tried to close the shop at 6:55PM when I desperately needed my cleaning. I have been completely satisfied with Reid's ever since. One of the best moves I've made: they do a great job, on time for a fair price. Last week, I went to pick up a duvet and cover and only the duvet was ready and the cover was with the driver who hadn't arrived. I am somewhat handicapped and Carl (I think a manager) offered to deliver it to my home so I didn't have to wait. And he "no charged" the item. Talk about service above and beyond the call of duty. And, a while later, he showed up at my front door with the cover. Kudos to Reid's and Carl! read more

Although the turnaround time was very quick(2 days) the cost was thru the roof!!! 3 pants(dry cleaned) 2 button down shirts(laundered) total cost $29.50. And there was no advertised prices nor any prices on the ticket. Buyer beware I guess. Will be searching for a more affordable dry cleaner for sure read more

no prices posted, but floored at the cost of dry cleaning a (unlined cotton cocktail) dress and pair of slacks: $18.63 - gulp! you've got to be kidding, right? That's what i paid! friendly and professional, but why does cleaning my clothing cost almost as much as my item of clothing? seriously? read more

I have been taking my uniforms and laundry to this Reid's for about 8 years and service has been good. Just recently moved and out of convenience wanted to find a closer cleaners. After reading several reviews on cleaners in the Cedar park area I decided to take my laundry to Reid's one more time until I could find something. On Saturday at 5:45 I realized I forgot to pick up my uniforms and just out of pure panic called to see if maybe they were open. Nope, closed at 5:00, however Enrique stated he would be there a few minutes more and would help me out. I raced down there and he not only opened up but he was very nice and did not act put out. I will no longer look for a place of convenience. I will continue to go to Reid's. thanks for the help Enrique, it would be real cold out without those uniforms. And they do have an LE discount. read more

Reid cleaners was not able to take food stains from my khaki pants. Even the pants were double creased which made it look very ugly.

After disappointing results at many local dry cleaners I am very happy to have found one that I can trust to do a good job. I have been to Reids a number of times now with consistent results. Definitely recommended. read more

Fast, convenient, and good quality cleaning. Paola and Cynthia have provided excellent customer service for years.

I have been using Reids for some time now( once or twice a month when our laundry basket is over loaded, because my wife hates wearing her clothes "too often") and I've never had any problems with them, never had anything lost or damaged. I've also had some minor repairs done here and been very pleased with the results (except one time I requested my button to be replaced which they did but with thread that did not match my shirt) They also have one day service and could have your clothes back the same day if you take them in before 9 (I think its 9). Customer service is great. specially Paula, she is very nice and friendly and knows our names! (I mean this girls must see dozens of people a day and they still manage to remember who is who). The only "but" I could give them is their prices. A bit high compared to other cleaners. I'd suggest to take your expensive name brand clothes here (you will be able to sleep at night knowing they will be well taken care of) and your $15 dollar garments elsewhere. over all, Reids cleaners is the place to go if you want great cleaning quality. read more
