I took a red skirt here simply to get pressed. It was wrinkled but had no stains. When I went to pick it up there were three black dot stains on the front . The lady at the store noticed them, too. She kept it to get re-cleaned. The second time I went to pick it up it had one black dot stain still on it. She kept it to re-clean. When I went to pick it up a third time it still had one black dot stain. The owner called me and said he wanted to clean it again. He said he wanted to personally make sure my skirt's stains were removed. I did not hear back from him so I assumed everything was fine, but when I went to pick up my skirt a fourth time it had an additional two black dot stains for a total of three. When I showed the lady at the store she said, "I see fresh spots."
I left the skirt there, per her request. I texted the owner; he called and said that his business did not cause any stains., but he wanted to make things right. His solution was to give me a store credit. I let him talk in full about his dry cleaning process and his explanations. I was quiet the whole time. When I spoke, he interrupted me and would not let me speak. He asked me if he could speak. I told him that I let him speak in full, completely uninterrupted, and when I wanted to speak he was the one who interrupted me. At that point he finally let me speak, and I reminded him that my skirt originally had no stains, and after 4 cleanings it has three. He said he took my skirt out in the light and couldn't see them, and the lady at the store could barely see them (even though she told me she could see them).
The first time I went to pick up my skirt I wasn't even looking for stains, as it did not have any when I dropped it off. It was very easy to see the stains, whoever, when I went to pick it up - time 1, time 2, time 3, and time 4.
I now have a store credit. Once I finish it up I am switching to the Reid's Cleaners on Far West. I see they have 4 stars while the one on 2222 just has 2 1/2. read more
