I have liked Rehv arms in Covington. I partnered with them to give the I-1639 required training to the public for free prior to it being put online. In addition, I taught some classes for new shooters that purchased firearms (handguns) and wanted additional training - all that for free as well. It's in everyone's best interest to get training. Due to the spike in crime, I broke down and wanted a gun for.protection. My.last experience when I went to buy a weapon was so bad, (the store close with Bear minimum customer service) that I didn't even shop for one again for 3 years. I was greeted with the cutest doggo ever and the staff was attentive immediately. I was straightforward. Lightest smallest 9 you have. Don't card about brand or bells and whistles and really am not price shopping. I mean I don't want to pay exorbitant prices but I don't think I even asked the price. I'm sorry I forget the man's name who helped me. He was great. Reading other reviews is kind numbing. The disrespect to continually call grown men boys tells me you give off just straight up d!ck vibes and I wouldn't be in a hurry to help your entitled ass either! Did the paperwork. It came in early. Picked up along with some ammo and it was all done. If you want personable and knowledgeable assistance this is your place. The only minor meh moment was actually when a few customers came in and immediately launched into a tirade about politics. I was interested in getting a suppressor for my AR-15, then I was told of the seemingly overwhelming things you have to go through to legally get one. Needless to say between the price of suppressors, the tax stamp, and the paperwork the government requires for approval, it was quite discouraging. I recently used REHV for a FFL transfer mid December 2021. I really enjoyed the service that was provided to me. The individual that helped me was really patient and professional. I asked a lot of questions about suppressor, SBR, background checks and waiting period which I already knew some of it. He could have easily just have me referred to the ATF or WA state firearm laws website but he didn't. I don't remember his name but he was a big guy with a beard ( apologized for not remembering your name). As a big gun advocate, I think these questions and conversations are really important to have with your customers, especially if you're educating them. I know their prices are not the cheapest but I will always put customer service before anything. As I was paying for my transfer, he asked if I was in the military. I told him no, I am not on active duty or in the reserves and that I've been out for 7 years. He gave me a military discount anyways. Again, stuff like this is what I valued. read more

Went there for some gunsmith work about 2:15 pm. One employee helping a man when me and the misses walked in. Laid my gun case on the counter. The boy helping the customer was only one there for a good 10 minutes, finally another boy came out and immediately started bullshitting with the customer and the other boy. 20 some minutes in a third boy appeared at the same time a customer(w/mohawk) walk in. The third helper immediately helped him. Me and the Misses were kinda drop jawed at that point, i told my wife give it ten minutes. We did, said Fuk this place! WARNING: Too disorganized for me. Waste of my time and money during pandemic times. I read the reviews on on the store about gunsmithing and stippling so I took a chance. My issues: 1)Staff don't give a shit. Custom service sucks and takes a back seat. It's family owned and operated so nobody is in charge and nothing gets communicated or done. For example, no-response to four of my emails about stippling styles and pricing 2)Three calls in for status updates and of course nobody knows about my status. One call nobody even answered, no ability to leave VM. 3) Dropped the gun off on 5/28/20 and still no word. Not sure what's happening but I really wanted to like this store and shop locally. 4) Still waiting, three call/three emails later. Finally up weapon on 618/20, no stippling only switching out of parts. Advice: 1)Close the shop and retire. 2)Fire the incompetent staff immediately which are costing you thousands of dollars in contracts. Mine alone was worth 12,000. 2)Answer the phones, emails, and DMs 3)Tell the four 'meat heads' standing around the shop to start working. You guys should be busting ass during the pandemic. 5)Hire a store manager specifically for the pandemic for first time gun sales, questions coming in via email and Instagram. 4)Retire and close the shop. Really nice store and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The only thing that kept me from a five star review is as follows. I bought a used Gen 5 Glock 19 (a hot commodity but at a good price) my purchase was easy, the staff was great. When I got the gun home, I was shocked at how filthy it was. I know my way around Glock pistols and this was the dirtiest gun I've seen in a while. I can give Rehv grace due to the insane amount of guns passing through the store. But, as a gun guy, I wish it would have been clean and ready to go. I recently purchased another gun from Rehv and will continue using them for my needs. I want to like this shop so bad but I've had nothing but consistant let downs in customer service. Prices are noticeably higher then neighboring shops and the staff doesn't seem to care about anything other then selling you what they have in stock. I have tried to buy a pistol, a rifle, accessories and ammo here. Every time I am met with bullshit information, better-then-you type attitues and zero fucks to give about being helpful. Want to order a pistol that is out of stock? Sure, should be two weeks. Want to ask ANY info about that pistol since it's been weeks since you paid for it? Good luck, they have no idea when it will be ordered. They just know they asked for it and you were dumb enough to pay for it. First time gun buyer question, fuck off noob. Wann buy that scorpion on the wall? Fuck off, it's not for sale. Want to buy this rifle on the wall? Fine, $750 and come back in 3 days...Just kidding, the owner wants to keep it now - fuck off. 2 weeks later: Want to buy that rifle that is now on the wall because the owner changed his mind? Sure, It's now $850 and has a gnarly scratch down the stock. I've been in at least ten times over the last year and a half and each time I walk out I think to myself that I should have just punched myself in the dick instead. Doesn't matter who I deal with, the shit customer service is present in each one. I completely understand about stock issues, employee turnover and the unprecidented surge in business. Decided to finally stop by after seeing the store front on my way to Costco every weekend. First impressions were man are they busy! I really appreciated that the front desk staff acknowledged me right away and apologized for the extensive wait time it would be before they would be able to assist me. Luckily, I have the attention span of a squirrel so I browsed their display cases and the displays on the wall. I was able to drop off my firearm for the SBR engraving and the cost was very reasonable. Because that transaction went so well and the finish was BEAUTIFUL, I decided to make a small purchase. Placed my order and unfortunately the supplier was extremely backed up. I ended up speaking with Jody on the phone after another delay. He provided me some options and invited me back to the shop to see what could be done. Long story short, Jody went out of his way to build what I had ordered but provided upgraded parts due to the extensive wait. That was truly a warm welcomed surprise and I am extremely thankful that he even offered it and followed through on it. I will be using Rehv arms for all future transactions moving forward and it has been nothing but excellent customer service from the crew here even though they are short staffed. Had an old pistol refinished by Rehv Arms. Sucks living in downtown Seattle as there are ZERO options within 30 minutes from where I live who offer Cerakote service. I know, it's my fault to live in such a hostile city that opposes my right to bear arms. Luckily I found Rehv Arms by suggestion of Google. Gave them a call and found they do Cerakoting at a decent price. The drive took me about 35 minutes to get there on a Saturday mid-morning. Lots of variety if you're into black rifles, AK-variants and auto-loading pistols, also a small selection of shotguns and bolt actions as well. Knowledgeable young men working the store front gladly to help you out. I was told that my cerakote job would take 3-5 weeks at least, which isn't a problem as long as it's a quality job. Exactly two weeks later Rehv calls me with the gun ready. They did a fantastic job with my Sig. Almost too beautiful to shoot. All was good until I hit traffic going back to Seattle, 90 minutes due to road closures, detours and accidents. read more

I recently moved to the Covington area. I needed a new local gun store to work with, so I did a quick Internet search and discovered Rehv Arms. The next day I went into Rehv and I was very surprised at the quality of the guns they carried in their shop. They have rifles ranging from basic factory AR-15's to top of the line custom builds they have done in house. When I went into Rehv I was not expecting to buy an AR-15 that day but I saw a custom build they had just completed that caught my eye and, next thing I knew I was filling out the paperwork on it. I felt more than comfortable getting this custom build from Rehv because when talking to John he was very knowledgeable. John was more than happy to show me many of their different Semi-auto rifles they had in stock. This helped me make up my mind that I was making the right choice with my rifle. Before I bought the gun I did some minor research to make sure I was getting an okay deal on it. When I added up the cost of the parts they put on this build I realized they had hardly marked up the rifle in price at all and that it was a very good deal! Rehv is an honest shop that will tell you the truth about their products and their prices reflect their good business practices. A few days later my roommate bought a lower and started a build of his own. This resulted in me doing a build myself (I couldn't just watch). I bought a lower the next day and started piecing together the parts required to finish the build. Rehv has all the custom AR parts to make an awesome rifle. With their help I ended up with a 5 pound (no optic) AR15! What impressed me the most about Rehv is that during the build Jamie pulled off the rail of a gun they had on the wall for my build because it had the rail I wanted. I went to the range yesterday and shot my latest build from Rehv and am very pleased with this rifle! I personally recommend Rehv to anyone who is looking for firearms or firearm accessories. I am amazed at the three or four reviews from Karens butt-hurt over having to wait a few days for their gun-smithing, a $3 website price discrepancy, or a few customers in line ahead of them. This place is exceptional. My fiance went here to purchase some magazines because there was a sale on their website for $8.99 apiece. He called them prior to going to make sure that the price was right and the guy who picked up the phone told them they could do that price. Too bad we didn't get his name otherwise my fiance would have mentioned it. Got there and asked for the magazine and price and the owner I believe, told him not to trust the website because it's not updated and that they didn't have a web designer to update their website. It ended up being $11.99 which isn't much of a price difference, but it was clearly on their website for $8.99. Most stores will honor their online prices, but this guy didn't. My fiance went with a different magazine for a little cheaper which worked out anyways. We checked their website just earlier and now the price for the $8.99 magazine (the original one my fiance wanted) has been changed to $11.99. Instead of lying to your customer's face and explained that it was a simple mistake on their end definitely shows a bad first impression. Probably the worst experience I've ever seen before in a gun shop and ANSEL is the reason. I wasn't in the shop for even 5 minutes to pick up a gun I purchased and he was immediately rude talked under his breath and treated us like we were completely idiots and he must think he is on a high horse because we came in because it said our gun was delivered so he checked the back which took 30 seconds and came out with a different name and he said did we call you ? And my girl friend purchased it for me and she replied no. He said well it's not ready until we call and another guy stepped in to explain it takes them a bit to go through shipped in inventory he came out from returning the other gun to the back he says while returning to the counter says some people need to do their research! Well no where or how she would know that at all and while the other guy kindly explained he had one lines the whole time rude as all can be this guy should work at McDonald's i don't see why every time I've shopped at this gun shop they think they have to treat you like you are completely dumb and will not be returning ever again and if any of you are new to guns you will not feel welcomed at all or comfortable at all in this store go ELSEWHERE! read more
