After dealing with a few vendors locally, we decided to venture online because we are not getting the customer experience that we want. Our search ended when my husband spoke with Jason Mercado from this location. The guy is on top of his game and is a truly competent sales person. My husband is a personal trainer and he knows his stuff so you cant really babble BS with him because the moment he senses that, he walks away from the deal. Jason is pretty much the main reason why we ended up purchasing from this place. He is very prompt with his responses and he provides outstanding customer service. The key with these online purchases is communication which establishes trust and confidence. Jason quickly earned this and exhibited professional and competent traits throughout the process. Everything was seamless from the initial communication to the installation. He was there barely 10 minutes and talked about options of replacing a motor or buying a new treadmill and he said since his 2nd service call is free he would be able to assemble a new treadmill for free as it was included in his service payment of $245.00 and haul away the old one for an additional $50 as long as I don't wait 6 months to order a new treadmill for him to assemble Based on our talk, a month later I bought a floor model treadmill and called him to disassemble part of the treadmill and reassemble it to fit our door. He completely denied he had made such a promise and was looking at charging me additional $500 upwards despite him not able to lift any heavy parts!

I had an issue with a broken locking latch on my home treadmill that needed repair. The treadmill…read morewas a discontinued model that was otherwise in good working order. I sent an online service request to Washington Fitness Services, who replied promptly saying they could help, but also advising that the repair was minor with brief instructions on what was needed to be done if I wanted to attempt the repair myself. They even sent me a link to a source where I could buy the part I needed, which was not easy to locate otherwise since the treadmill model I have is no longer being manufactured. I opted to have WFS perform the repair, and Dale was more than fair in charging us a reasonable fee for doing the repair. I was most pleased with his responsiveness and his genuine desire to help solve the problem, even though it wasn't exactly a large or complicated job. Nevertheless, the service, trust, and responsiveness Dale exhibited was worthy of a very positive review!

I called ahead, and asked if they sold Washington State Parks Discover Passes. Yes! says the…read moreperson who answered the phone. So, on a dark and rainy Puyallup night I drove to their store. The first clerk I asked to sell me a pass fumbled around and could not log into a computer. He made an odd, childish sounding call to another clerk. That person came and the two of them would have been comical to watch, if not so sad. After about 5 minutes, clerk 2 called his manager. I had the dubious please of listening to first questions about the computer ( I could tell it was not good news of some type), then a long conversation about sales, socks and things the clerk was to do. It was very clear the customer standing awkwardly in their store was not important. So, after the call, I'd been in the store 10-15 minutes. The clerk addresses me, while looking down and to his left, like he was afraid of me. I had NOT said a single word at this point. He gave a long-winded excuse, this was a known issue, they had submitted tickets, they simply had to call the state and get it fixed. I simply said OK and left to find another store and by my pass. This store needs training and a manager shake up. To not post the computer was broke (so I would not drive there in the first place), to not notify staff, to not care about the customer standing there while they were talking socks and sales.... Everything that is wrong about retail training and service is endemic to this store.
