Very little inventory. Website says they have all these guns. Walk in... nope we can order it though!! Only go there out of desperation like I did. You'll be disappointed like I was. Then off you go to another store hoping they have it. read more

Walked in with very little knowledge about guns and left much better informed about what was best for me and my family. Matt, Mark and the rest of the crew at BG are friendly, helpful, and best of all, they know their stuff. Bought two guns and ammo there and will definitely return for future needs. Would highly recommend them for their inventory and support. read more

For reference, I use Brad's for transfers almost exclusively, so be aware that my review encompasses that experience. For my purposes, they're almost perfect. Outside being a jaunt across the bridge which is not so fun in the late afternoon, they're pretty close by, have good transfer fees, as well as friendly, knowledgeable, & responsive staff. I've never had an issue getting FFL info to a shipper, they're good about calling when your items are ready to pick up, and they've never had any issues processing some of my more complex transfers. That's about all I can reasonably ask from a local gun shop. There are some disadvantages; I tend to show up when there's no line, but if there's a line, the building is a bit on the small side so given the current madness caused by our esteemed Gavin-Newsome-Backdoor-Buddy, Supreme Chancellor Inslee, and King County's pet psychos in the legislature, it wouldn't be hard to imagine at some point you could end up with a line out the door, though in fairness, I've yet to actually see this happen. There is a coffee place next door, which might help those who are so inclined as the wait can be a while while everyone's transfers are processed, which seem to average 15-25 minutes per transfer depending on how smooth things go. Related, the parking lot is a bit on the small side, and is what I'll term "free form" for at least one decent sized corner of it, so you may need to park at adjacent businesses if things are really slammed, and I would suggest that smaller cars may be preferred, but I've yet to actually have an issue getting a full size truck parked in the lot at least during the times I've been there. read more

Super knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I went in knowing virtually nothing and got outfitted with a referral for training which helped a lot! read more

Great little store that has the capacity to get anything you are looking for with the right attitude all gun stores should have. I've been in a few times now and every time I'm in, they are always helping people out, not just talking about nonsense for hours with one person like most gun stores I've been in. The owner and his team are professional, extremely friendly and not rude or condescending, just genuinely helpful. Great prices, well laid out, nice little on-hand selection of semi-autos, components, ammo and a few other essentials. They even have a great place to grab a coffee next door. I'll be back to buy my next piece from them and sending in my family & friends to support this business. read more

Brad's Guns - Brads Guns - Guns & Ammo Near Me - Lake Tapps, Washington

It an interesting situation and a nice little gun shop, I do think the good does out way the not so good of being so small. The shop carrie's a very good personality, it is inviting, polite and also has very competitive prices. I do hear people in the back of the line talking about other possible stores while standing in the typical line to be helped and have had wait times extended by computer based purchase system glitches. All in all I think a lot of people really like shopping at Brad's as I do for many reasons but it does have the feel that this little shop is getting pressured to get bigger which is good for business for now any way. All in all, if you have any administrative work, items you would like ordered or interest in AR parts, it is a must do place and they do carry a stock of small arms and popular ammo. read more

Brad's Guns was referred to me by my brother and one of his friends. Glad I went to this nice little shop. Very knowledgeable staff and very helpful in assisting me to select an AR that would fit my needs and stay within my budget. Was also in the market to purchase a hunting rifle, so I also bought a 308, fully equipped for a very competitive price. They have landed me as a customer for life. read more

Personal customer service!! I thought it was a thing of the past but not at Brad's Guns in Bonney Lake. I bought my first handgun today after shopping at several chain stores. The staff was professional, respectful and very knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions allowing me to make an informed decision. The process was quick and easy. The store was easy to find and clean. Prices were spot on and I am thrilled with my purchase. read more

Good prices and good service. They will call you as soon as your order comes in no complaints here

My FFL moved out of state so tried brads after reading reviews and talking to my son and they were fine. Price was good. I love having a gun store nearby but nothing too exciting. read more

Personally I do not post reviews in ammunition& firearms, so this will be my 1st attempt making a comment. I was lucky to receive an old gift from my dad--- A Japanese Arisaka type 38 rifle that commonly served in IJA for 50 years(1895-1945). Somehow its not well maintained and has dents on the cartridge. Owner said this bolt-action rifle was not manufactured in Tokyo Kokura Arsenal where they were originally made from. Instead, a gunsmith who didn't work there told us about the history and background of its usage. So glad the rifle itself still in great shape, and fully functional. But the 6.5mm round ammos are extremely rare to find , also lack of accessories like bayonet, wood grips, dust covers etc. The rifle is currently under my WW2 collection. read more

I have worked with many different gun shops over the decades. Brads, by far, is the absolute best. Customer service, knowledge, willingness to bend over backwards to help you find what ever you are looking for- they excel at it all. read more

Great place. Super friendly employees. Always fair with prices even in this world we are in now with all the democratic panic and fear mongering going on. Didn't raise prices on items like other dealers did. My go to for purchases. read more

I've been a customer at Brad's Guns for years and have always had a great experience. Friendly staff, excellent service, and they will work with you to order items that are not in-stock. Looking forward to continuing to use Brad's Guns for all my FFL and firearm accessory needs! read more

Great local gun store. Good selection, good prices, and good selection of used guns as well. Brad is absolutely awesome to talk with and is a wealth of knowledge. Customer service is great, they treat you like a valued client vs the Gucci gun store in Auburn. New shop location is very nice. I refer all my buddies here based on the exceptional service. Brad's is a great place to go and has earned my business time and time again. read more

Will not be back. I purchased a rifle online and had it transferred to Brad's Guns because it is close to my house. I had done this one other time before, but this is the last time. I asked a question to the larger employee, he didn't know how to answer it and didn't attempt to look up the answer or ask Brad. A gun shop should know basic firearm laws. Since SARS-CoV-2 occurred, my driver's license expired and I had the documentation from the state of Washington showing my ID was valid for 90 days after expiration. They refused to accept the documentation. I had to call the department of licensing to get the barcode of the new license. Brad said, "you'll probably have to wait till your license comes in the mail." Not acceptable, every other gun shop in the area has taken my license as is. I was able to get the documentation emailed to me by the state. While I was on the phone, a couple came in and asked what kind of self defense options were available besides a gun, the employees and Brad of course started touting that defense is only practical with a gun. Of course a gun shop will only recommend guns blindly without knowing a person's background or history. How would they know what their history is, maybe the woman is a husband beater, maybe the man is a felon. Anyways, as soon as they left Brad started making fun of the older man. All I could think was, what are these clowns going to say about me when I leave their shop because there was a hiccup in my license that was beyond my control? While I am on the phone, they set my items aside and make it seem like I am no longer welcome. The larger employee goes next door to get himself and his coworker a milkshake-like coffee. Not handing me my drivers license they had possession of, I can't leave without my license so I stay in the store. During this time, they not only ignore their own rules about two customers in the store at one time, but also violate the state mandate by removing their masks and allowing unmasked customers into their store. After forwarding the temporary license to the employee, he prints it off and scans it, but it doesn't scan. So he enters it manually. This is after telling me he cannot enter my license manually. Thanks for making me sit on the phone for almost an hour cause you were being too lazy to enter the information manually. If I was to treat one of my patients in the cavalier manner that this business treats their customers, I wouldn't have any patients. I won't be back, there are many other local gun shops around. read more

Once again these guys did not disappoint me at all. Brought a friend of mine in to help him decide on purchasing a handgun. He ended up getting his Glock 36. Luckily they had one in stock. But I was there for moral support but ended up purchasing a semi auto shotgun. LOL! I can't thank Brad and his team enough for taking care of all my buddies I send down there. Most of us live in Seattle but well worth the drive. read more

I went in as a first time gun purchaser with zero experience. I had been to one other store and left that store as confused as I had entered and no gun. Brad's was very busy. I was helped in a timely manner, I was treated with so much patience and was well educated. I felt strongly knowing I purchased the right firearm for myself. I did read another review stating that they were not treated right because they were a minority. I wanted to say I strolled in there, a Hispanic woman and was treated with the utmost kindness and respect. I would absolutely recommend this store to anyone I know. Great service great selection. read more

Terrible customer service. I stopped in with my African American fiancée, and we were treated like criminals. I had planned on purchasing two pistols for protection. I made the mistake of asking my fiancée opinion. My fiancée is a gentleman and the tone and accusations coming from the rude oversized privileged white young sales person ( using that term loosely) because he has. no customer service skills. I asked a few questions and he spoke down to me. I am very familiar With the attitude. I am not a fan of racism. He proceeded to assume I was purchasing a gun for someone else. Needless to say I would not spend one cent of my money at this sub par, business with no manners. All my guns are licensed and I know how to use them and store them safely. I don't appreciate the way we were treated and spoken too. I did what I could by leaving and not supporting this type of business. If you are looking for good service forget going to Brad's. I am considering filing a complaint with BBB. I would have selected 0 stars but it won't post without at least clicking on 1. read more

My favorite local gun shop. Brad and his team often take time to answer questions, even when very busy. I've always been happy with my purchases here and the service is excellent. I could not ask for better service ! I have bought multiple firearms and accessories from brads and have always have gotten professional and friendly service from all the staff. Edit: still the best of the best. Super chill staff, knowledgeable, and most importantly.... Honest. Also their prices aren't too shabby

This should be easy... I don't really even need to write a review here, just urge you to read Seth's review below (from 6/11/16). He pretty much says it all, and much more eloquently than I'm sure I ever could. Based on Seth's review, I visited Brad's Gun's, met Brad, and am now pretty sure that I have found my 'go to' gun shop going forward (and I've visited quite a few shops over the past few months). This was a first time purchase for me, and Brad was very thorough in explaining and guiding me through the purchase process. I didn't pick pick up any ammo today, but his prices seem about the lowest I've seen, and he also sells Washougal River Factory Reloads in bulk, which I'm interested to try out. This is a small shop to be sure, and you'll have to look hard to realize it's a gun shop you're entering, because you'll actually be walking into Northwest Marine & Ski, where Brad's store occupies a corner of the building. Read Seth's review... Go see Brad... You'll be glad you did. read more

I am having so much trouble with this online gun store I'm beginning to wonder if they are legit. I have called three times and left my number, they say they'll get back to you. I'm still waiting 4 days later for that return call. I sent proof of payment, a screenshot of the initial payment where it shows the email address to send the money showing sent. They sent an email on the 5th saying having trouble, so I sent a copy of the paid receipt. Now they are saying they will check with their financial office. I'm sending you copies of paid receipts what more proof is there. I sure hope they get this figured out. read more

This is a longer and detailed posting, but worth the time to read if you're looking to buy. I found his store 3 years ago online, and couldn't be happier. He earned all my business for 3 years, and will exclusively for years to come. If anything is holding you back, buy from Brad without hesitation. You'll thank me for it. Today he kept the store open late for me. Hit traffic, called him, and actually stayed open 45 minutes late. Wow that's serious customer service. Would your current store do that for you? I have been hunting, trap, and target shooting for over 20 years. I carry every day for a decade. I am very familiar with this sport. I have no affiliation with the company, I am only a customer. I am excited to share my experiences with others. It's rare to find someone who cares so much about his customers, respectful, honest, and easy to work with. Why buy from Brad's Guns (or his online store)? Here's why I give him all my business. 1) He's an outstanding person, treats you with respect and appreciation for your business. His staff have always been very helpful, kind, and willing to do whatever they can to help me. 2) His customer service (and staff) are second to none. This is the model every company needs to work on. 3) He offers the best prices on everything. I've searched, and can't get ammo, parts, or firearms at a better price - even if I wasn't already a loyal customer. 4) Huge selection of merchandise through his online store, and doesn't charge shipping or FFL transfer fees if you send it to his store for processing. Transfers are quick, easy, low priced, and done on the spot 5) Brad is one of the very few outstanding small business owners still adding huge value to the community. You see him in the store, he answers the phone, helps you out, and is stellar. I recommend all my friends, family, coworkers, and anyone else, to buy from his physical store (which is actually a boat store) or online store. I always hear positive feedback, and I know he treated them well. First time buyers looking for a home defense/concealed carry piece, guys/ladies new to the sport, older folks, inexperience, etc, can go here, and know they're getting the truth from a knowledgeable person. He won't sell you something you don't need, because he has integrity. He can also recommend the extra stuff you might not realize you need as a new shooter (cleaning tools/chemicals, storage, accessories, holsters, etc), and would probably be willing to order them for you out of his online store. If you're new to this sport, there are a lot of little things you need to be safe and enjoy yourself. Don't be afraid to ask him or his staff if you don't have a clue what you're doing. Most of us in the shooting community want everyone to enjoy the sport, and feel welcome. We don't want you to be intimidated, and not join in the fun. Brad and his staff will answer your questions, and give helpful feedback. Also, ask customers in the store questions, because we love to talk about this subject. I got my English wife into the sport, and she grew up in a country without private ownership of firearms. I'm getting my mom into the sport next, and even a few other people. Please, please, please get certified training in firearms safety, before you buy a gun. I can't stress this enough. You can't overlook safety for a second. Learn how to handle and shoot safe, and then always use safe practices. Always know how to store firearms in your home safely, and more so if you have kids. I am a life long customer, and I try to send as much business his way as possible. I know I'll be buying more from Brad in the future. I've purchased at least $8K in ammo alone over the last few years from his store (good hobby to spend money fast), because I don't shop anywhere else. I just picked up two handguns, and I'm very satisfied with the prices, quality, shipping speed, and especially the service. I didn't even bother with shopping around. I just want directly to him. He still ended up with the lowest prices I could find. He is providing the services/products I (and many others) need, and with amazing customer service at great prices. I would recommend everyone visit his store, and you should visit too. You'll be on Yelp telling everyone else the same thing you just read from me. Thank you for reading my post, and please try his shop out. He's a local, small business owner that is just fantastic. He deserves our business, and I think you'll agree. Thanks read more

I went in today. The fat guy was out front. He asked how he could help. I said I was looking for a 44. He said, we don't get those. He said he could get a .357 but they had wood stocks. He looked them up and started to show me the page. He then said, boy he wished I hadn't asked because now he would want one. It was so disingenuous. The game was, see this is so cool, even an expert like me would buy this. You should buy this. Zero ability to listen to the customer. I asked about 10mm, he said they go quick. But after checking to see if he could get a 44 in, he never offered to check to see if he would/could get a 10mm in. I would have bought one even after being slightly annoyed. I love that they are local and support our 2nd amendment, but w/ chubby out front, I won't be back. Not horrible, just not good. read more

Since day one I knew I'd be doing a lot of business with Brad's Guns, i think you're going to feel the same way too.

I went to Brads last weekend to look at a hunting rifle. After speaking with the guys at the counter I ended up leaving with a new AR and ordered a hunting rifle. They told me it would be in on Friday...sure enough I got a call Friday morning, my new hunting rifle was there! I went and picked it up, got some more ammo, and got some great advice from the guys! Brad's is the best place to get ammo, new guns, and he even has some trade ins. I am so glad I found Brad's !!! Jim B. read more

Awesome shop with a friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great prices and quality service. Brad's Guns is definitely the go-to LGS

Brad's is a fantastic shop. I've purchased 4 firearms from Brad, and recommend his shop to my friends. I have always been treated well, and they've always been able to get what I want. Makes it tough now that I can shop at the PX and therefore not pay sales tax, but I still prefer a knowledgeable shop over a big-box ANY day! They also offer reasonably priced transfers, which is nice. read more

I sold some guns to Brad's and received what I believe were very good prices. Brad was direct, honest, upfront and gave me confidence I have finally found the gun store I would be dealing with from now on. I felt they were looking to build trust and a lifetime customer, which they have. He took the time to analyze each gun, rate it and tell me max price he would give. I also asked him to price a special order pistol I wanted and every where else locally and on the internet was about $1400 his price was $1250.00. I have been to other gun stores and have never had this kind of top notch service, highly recommend Brad's Guns to anyone looking to buy or sell, quality people.... read more

After much research, I finally decided on the 9mm pistol I wanted. I stopped in to see Brad, who ordered it for me. Brad's price was as good, or better, than everywhere on-line. Plus, no shipping charge or FFL transfer fee, made it Way Less than anywhere else. Shortly thereafter, I got a call from Brad, saying it had arrived. While there, I picked up a thousand rounds of ammo for a great price. Thanks again, Brad! read more

Wouldn't buy from Brads Guns again, happy they had my gun in stock sad service afterwards way slow and not good. Bought gun on the 15th called back in on the 24th asking about background check told not back yet. Called the 25th was told not back yet still they would call and look into it never heard back all day. Cabelas called me on the 26th 4days after them doing my background check and gun was ready for pick up. So I called Brads on the 26th lucky Brad answered asked him about my background check again. He said he would looking into it and call me back. 10mins later he called back to let me know they never submitted my paperwork...awesome. Only if employee who answered 3days earlier would've done his job and looked into it would've helped a little. If you do buy from here only thing I would suggest is talk with Brad and have him do your paperwork. Clean store nice guys in store service but poor service over the phone and follow up is not good except for Brad. Thanks for the Hellcat other then that no good read more

Brad consigned a handful of firearms and a couple firearm accessories for me quickly, and courteously. I couldn't be happier with his help.

Finally a decent shop close to me. This place is awesome. It's pretty small shop and doesn't have much selection onsite but makes up for it with great service. Brad is awesome to work with. He can pretty much order anything you want so the little selection is not a big deal to me. I don't think I'll go anywhere else to purchase my guns or do FFL transfers. read more
