I just called with a question, got a friendly and very helpful person on the phone who answered my questions, all of them, patiently and without condescending to "the little lady." I have been a customer of Lee's store Fall City Firearms since I moved into my house in 2006. I have bought guns from Lee, sold guns to Lee, and had guns shipped in to Lee's store that I bought off Gunbroker. I have always gotten a square deal from FCF. Never once have I bought or sold something there and then later found out I paid too much or got too little. The phone is always busy, and they don't have a website with every gun they have listed for sale, that's true. It also doesn't make any difference at all. It's a small town gun store full to the brim with all sorts of new and used firearms. The used inventory normally is bigger than the new, and again, that's an advantage. Lee always has lots of interesting collector type arms to go along with whatever the latest and greatest is. When I finally move out of this state, Fall City Firearms is the store I'll miss the most. Holy smokes, I do not really know the actual owner Lee very well but did get a chance to meet Charlie, the almost full time manager. I keep throwing around the word genius, but I have been meeting a lot of them lately, Charlie is one. This place is amazing, almost a musuem that you can buy. Charlie can answer any question you may have, about guns and ammo but also why weapons are necessary or maybe unecessary. He also can talk your ear off on medicine, the medical system, passions, brewing, teas, beers etc. etc. Overall this is the kind of place that we need in all businesses. Shop local keep these types of places alive, don't use them for physical inspection and then save a few dollars buying elsewhere unless you want to lose access to geniuses! stop in even if you are anti gun, your eyes may open a little if you let them! read more

I've read the other reviews specifically about the poor level of service, but I did not have that experience at all. All three gentlemen were helpful and expedient in assisting me with my purchases. Bob is a sweetheart - I messed up on some paperwork and he had to go through a a few piles to find it, I thought he would be upset but he was actually very kind about it. I first called to confirm their hours. Someone actually answered and said we close at 6pm. I had to drive super super far to get to this place in the middle of nowhere. I left with ample time. I got behind some traffic witch slowed me down but I still had plenty of time before 6pm when I arrived. There was a Mercedes parked right in front of the door but all the blinds and doors were closed. I figured they may be prepping for closing? I got out and walked to the door. The door was locked? I looked at my phone and it was way before 6pm. I went around the building looking for another entrance? Nope, so I came back and knocked at the door and called. This time nothing. DUDE IF YOURE GONNA TELL PEOPLE 6PM STAY OPEN TILL 6PM. WE ALL HAVE THE SAME TIME ON OUR PHONES THESE DAYS SO WHEN YOUR PHONE SAYS 6PM YOURE GOOD TO GO! IF SOMEONE CALLS U FOR YOUR HOURS CAN YOU PLEASE AT LEAST HONOR WHAT YOU SAY. I just wasted hours coming all the way out here for nothing. NOT COOL DUDE.. I tridd to help a small business and decided to give this shop one more chance. After wasting a few hours to respond to the phone, I asked about ordering a gun over the phone and was told it is available. I drove to the store and when I got there I was told the rifle is no longer available to order. The guy there didn't bother to wear a mask even though he was coughing. That's the last time I drive to this store. It's not worthed to try to help small businesses when the owners are acting like this. read more

Lee Stallman, the owner, is the best gun dealer in the greater Seattle area -- Fall City firearms has an amazing and varied selection of new and used firearms, rotated frequently (300-400/month), and he's both friendly and very knowledgeable. There's no computerized inventory system, so you pretty much have to stop by and see what he has (or you can call if you're looking for something specific), but when you do come in you'll often find things you didn't realize you needed. Not the most inexpensive for third party transfers, and no NFA items (not an SOT, I assume), but for "interesting" guns, and great deals on used guns, this is a great place. read more

I have only been there once, went in to price a rifle and possibly purchase. When me and my wife walked in the guy running the place was talking to another customer. He did not greet us or acknowledge that we even walked in. No biggie though, they were in the middle of a conversation, I thought maybe he was buying a gun but I soon realized they were just talking about different firearms. Me and my wife were in the shop for about twenty minutes, not one time were we asked if we needed help or acknowledged that we were even possible customers. I even made a few comments on how we were looking to buy and had some questions and it would be nice to get some help. We ended up walking out. At least we didn't interrupt the conversation they were having. I will not go back there. West coast armory was more than friendly and helpful. Outstanding! Love this guy and his shop. In a day and age where most Firearms dealers are charging hundreds on mark ups,.. it's nice to find a shop with really decent prices. Fair on Name brand stuff, and new pieces, but the real value here is in the used inventory. Best used pricing I have seen in Washington,.. and the internet! The inventory seems a little hit or miss, but there are lots of good buys on used arms. The inventory seems to rotate frequently, so check in from time to time to see if your favorate piece is on sale. Also of note, this dealer carries a large assortment of military surplus rifles such as, Lee Enfield, Mosin Nagant, and old Japanese bolt action rifles too. The military surplus rifles are very decently priced. Good Pricing, good people, good selection,.. what's not to love. Go check them out! read more

We have purchased 3 firearms in the past year from Lee at Fall City firearms. Two were off the shelf and one was special order. The first was a .22 rifle for my son as his first rifle. I took his advice and have been very happy with the purchase since. The second was a different pistol than the one I was looking for at his recommendation and have also been very happy. The third was an XDm subcompact that he didn't have in stock. I found four other dealers that had it stock but Lee was able to beat the lowest price by $20 and get two extended clips versus one with the other shops. This is a great neighborhood style gun shop, they have a bit of everything as well as a good selection of used and collector type guns. If you're looking for "tactical" guns, they have a much smaller selection of base-style models and you might be better off at any of the myriad stores that specialize in that kind of thing. However if you're looking for a "gran-pappy" shotgun, a bird gun, deer rifle, or the first rifle for junior this is a great place to start due to the large used selection. This place is high on my list of "must stops" every time I'm in the area. The owner is knowledgeable, friendly, and will do his best to help you find the right gun for you, not the gun he has to sell. In addition to guns, they also have a pretty good selection of accessories, ammunition, and a small, but respectable selection of reloading components. read more

Caveat Emptor, I purchased a Ruger rifle from Fall City Firearms in May 2016. In January 2017 the receiver on the rifle broke. Ruger told me to return the rifle through a FFL, so I returned it to Fall City Firearms for the RMA. After 3 weeks I called Ruger back to inquire about my rifle, they stated it was not repairable and they would be sending me a new one with all the accessories to compensate for the inconvenience. Fall City Firearms called to let me know the new rifle had arrived. However, when I went to pick it up a majority of the accessories had been taken out of the box. I spotted one of my magazines on the shelf with a price on it. I asked Fall City Firearms to return the accessories they took out of the box. They told me that I could buy them back. What kind of FFL steals parts off a rifle you sent in for repair and tries to sell them back to you? A greedy and crooked one. Steer clear of Fall City Firearms. Lee cannot be trusted. If Yelp had a zero, he earned it. read more
