This store provides a welcoming atmosphere. Everyone is very helpful. If you are a golfer Ross who manages this area is fantastic. I would rate him as a 10+. As a golfer himself he is so knowledgeable about equipment and gives amazing service. He takes care of things in a timely manner and really enjoys helping other golfers. He is an amazing employee and person and it is a pleasure to work with him. I recommend this store and moreover Ross. want to share an upsetting experience I had at the Dick's Sporting Goods in Issaquah, WA, on March 27, 2025. My cousin and I, both Black, were racially profiled while shopping. When we entered the store, no one greeted us, but as soon as we started shopping, we were followed around and repeatedly asked if we needed help--despite making it clear we were fine. At checkout, the cashier placed our bags and items on the floor until the payment was fully approved, which felt humiliating. To make matters worse, when we left the store, we noticed police officers waiting outside, who pulled off only after we left. I have been shopping at this location for five years, and every time, I've felt unwelcome. This was the final straw. I spent $600 on this visit and was still treated with suspicion and disrespect. No paying customer should have to experience this, let alone be treated differently because of the color of their skin. I will be reaching out to Dick's Sporting Goods corporate office, as well as the NAACP, ACLU, and Washington State Human Rights Commission to report this incident. Terrible customer service. People selling hunting licenses didn't have any idea what the heck they were doing and ended up selling me four unnecessary licenses and argued with me that I couldn't buy just one I had to buy four. They were wrong. I went back to get my money refunded and they said Washington Dept Fish and wildlife had to do it That they couldn't. Incompetent at best rude at worst. Avoid this store. read more

I have always found what I was looking for here. Tennis shoes, and socks are the items I buy. They have very interesting things when you can't find them in other places or only online. What I like from here is that you can try things first. I think there isn't to many staff members to help so I have to walk yo find someone. They helped some. I stopped by Dick's today to look for some new comfortable walking shoes. I found a pair I thought was cute and asked the nearest employee if I could try them on. She said "those? really? are you sure?" Very rude! I said yes I would like to try them on, do you have my size? She called another employee over and didn't say anything else to me. I think her name was Sandiaya, I don't quite remember. The other employee she called over was very helpful, but I didn't end up getting the shoes. I very rarely shop at Dick's because I haven't had great experiences there. Today was no different I was looking for the restroom for about 10 min and couldn't find anybody to ask. I was very obviously looking helpless, which is their job to assist customers with questions. Not a big deal, still eligible for 4/5 star review! However, I'm looking around for ways to spend this gift card, and was hoping to stretch my dollar so I was looking for things on sale. Their clearance sections are old and hideous licensed products that were still overpriced. I asked if they had much else for sale and of course they directed me to the DSG section (the Dicks brand of clothes). The guy who directed me said there were clearances sections on every pad. These clearance sections weren't organized by size nor type of clothes. Finally, the checkout guy was on his phone and didn't realize I was standing there. He then took 5 minutes to scan 4 items. I won't be returning. I wish I regifted the gift card. I got more help asking the mannequins for help than the workers there. Best of luck. read more

I have purchased countless items, spent a decent amount of money and almost always go them for my golf gear... I went to use the simulator as I was ready to purchase new irons. I was told that the simulator is no longer usable unless you pay or buying clubs and i had to leave before even asking if i wanted to buy or try... I have purchased clubs there before (my cobra f9 driver) and was planning on buying more, newer irons, until this happened. Their simulator is NEVER being used, and just sits there. The least they could do is allow the scorecard members and people who purchase golf equipment there to use it. I wanted to try two sets of a 7 iron, both sets 4i-PW was over $1200.... We shopped the Dick's in Issaquah, WA. We picked 3 items off the 'buy one and get two free' display rack. We were charged full price for all three. I called the number on my emailed receipt and spent a good half hour explaining the mistake. In the end, the folks on the other end of the call were unwilling or unable to refund the incorrect charges and maintained that we needed to contact the store. I did so and the person I spoke with was apologetic but said we needed to get to a store to make the charges right. We went to the store in Bellingham which was closest to our location at that time. We were informed that one of the items was not qualified for the deal. I told the individual that the item was on the same display rack as the other two items. He said it was likely a mistake made by employees at the Issaquah store. I replied that was not my problem, but he still refused to make good on the refund. I had him refund all three items and let him know that Dick's lost us permanently as customers. My only regret is that we did not return the other two items we purchased (over $500). Shopping fatigue had set in, and I did not want to look for the weight set at other retailers. True customer service would have been to credit the two less expensive items (16.99 ea). In the absence of that happening we will no longer patronize your stores. We will also share our misadventures with our friends and online. The emailed sales receipt also lacked a subtotal and sales tax amount. read more

Big store with a great selection of sports goods, clothing, gear, and equipment. Ever since we discovered this store a few months ago, we've bought many of our kiddos' winter clothing at Dick's. It also has a great range of selected fitness gear floor models for customers to try and test! For big ticket items like fitness gears, I truly appreciate being able to touch, feel, and try them before making a purchasing decision. I wanted to buy a 46 or 64 oz Yeti water bottle. I called the store to ask if they had it in stock. The 1st person put me on hold to go look and I waited, then someone else picked up and I explained again what I was looking for. They too, put me on hold to go look so I waited, then a 3rd person picked up the phone and I explain another time what I was looking for. They also put me on hold to look. They actually came back and told me they had 46 and 1 gallon yeti bottles in stock. I go into the store and can't find the 46 oz option anywhere. I see one one gallon bottle but part of the lid is missing and there is no option to buy that specific missing piece. I finally catch an employee who isn't avoiding customers and they aren't willing to go look themselves, despite being 20 feet away from the selection of bottles. They ask someone on their radio, who doesn't go look either and then tell me "it must not be in stock. Sorry". They either lied or they were too lazy to check at all but either way they wasted my time completely. read more

Not impressed. I specifically went here after I did a fitness equipment search online for certain items. Dick's was the only store that claimed it had this equipment in store. I am very reluctant to buy heavy weights and other similar items online. I can't imagine what the shipping price would be like. Anyhow, I went to the store and the fitness department was just a mess. Items didn't have any pricing information, A lot of items were not available or I couldn't find it. Tthere were stacks and stacks of unpacked items, which is maybe where the specific items were that I was looking for. The store was fairly empty for such a large store and several employees walked by. Nobody stopped to ask me if I needed help (not that I really needed it, but the gesture is appreciated). Prices seemed incredibly high, although I knew the equipment I was looking at was expensive in general. Finally, I settled on one item that had a certain price listed. When I was rung up, the price was way more than I had expected. Turns out the listed price was for some other, similar item. Seriously, get your stuff organized. read more

This rating focused particularly to the Sammamish Dick's Sporting Goods. I had every intention of buying a treadmill there yesterday anywhere between $1000 and $2000. I got a young man to help me who obviously knew nothing of treadmills, I just asked him if he can get the key and let me at least try this treadmill before I bought it. I told him I brought my truck to take one home today. He spent about 15 minutes looking for keys and couldn't find them finally he went to check with his manager but his manager couldn't be bothered to get off the phone he was on a call. I understand the manager might've been busy but he sure lost a sale as I did buy a treadmill yesterday . Have been here a few times- my last experience was a 1 star for sure, but I gave a 2 star because other experiences there have been okay. I went there for a deal they were having on winter jackets, and ended up picking out a NorthFace one on their clearance/deal rack. The rack said 40% off, and the jacket said $230. Lots of the other jackets (same jacket different colors/sizes) said $130 for this jacket so I decided to take it to the register to buy it- assuming it was 40% off of $230. The lady at the register (Carol) said it was $230 and wouldn't even take into consideration when we told her that it was on the clearance rack- she just said, "no this is not on clearance, and that was a mistake then if it was placed there." We tried to let her know that there were many other of the same jackets on the rack, just to let her know- but she acted like we were trying to argue with her rather than what we were doing... just letting her know. Ultimately, on the way home I looked up the jacket and determined that the jacket on their website was on clearance and she charged us an extra $100 more than what the item is currently going for- so the jacket was not 'accidentally' placed on the clearance rack like Carol claimed. Just for clarity- I don't have a problem with the fact that Carol was inaccurate in her assumption that the item was not on sale, I have a problem with how disrespectfully she handled it. I felt like she acted very defensively, and treated us like we were trying to rip off the store or something. We went back the following day to let them know what happened, and to get our $100 back, and ultimately determined that we wanted a full refund because if there is by chance commission made on this product- we don't believe that she deserves it. We ended up getting Carol again at the register in the morning, and she was determined to convince us that the item must have changed status overnight, or something like that? Essentially she refused to admit that maybe there was a mistake made... So end of story, we got our refund and in the future will be shopping online from their store, where we ultimately got an extra 10% off of the jacket & free shipping. On a side note, the associates walking around the store were helpful and pointed us in the right direction to find multiple items. Wish I would have caught their names to give them kudos. read more

When I had lost the will to live, Philip came to the rescue. Kayak shopping with my husband, ordered everything online and we were just coming into the store to try on life jackets...or so I thought. After my husband saw the vast display of kayaks, he changed his mind on the kayaks we were there to collect. Like another poster, I totally don't get the negative reviews for this new Dicks in Issaquah. We have been there many times since they opened and the employees have been simply outstanding. Every time I've bought something there, they've been helpful (the lady in the golf dept is great & really knows her stuff). The cashiers are all awesome (even when my coupons were a little "short", they still gave it to me)! Their stock is good, and if they don't have it, they are happy to try and get it for you. Also, their prices are right in line with the other sporting goods stores, and the store is clean and bright. Went to spend a couple hundred dollars on a pair of fishing wading boots from the Highlands store, but when I asked for help from the bald headed guy leaning on the glass cabinet in front of the weapons at the back called the Lodge-- was put out because I asked him to do his job; find out the sale price on a pair of Patagonia boots. Dicks has upped their game. They have a great selection of the products that you would actually want to buy, albeit at slightly elevated prices when compared to other sporting goods stores. I came here to find some deer feed that I like to pour in front of my trail cameras. I figure that if an animal is going to walk by the camera, it might as well be prompted to walk in front of it. Dicks had a dozen varieties including the specific brand that I was looking for. Compared to places like big5 that only seems to stock remington items and sports authority who only has winchester, dicks also had a wider variety in ammunition and other hunting materials. We just visited this store over Memorial Day weekend and purchased two kayaks. The only slightly frustrating part was that the kayaks were cheaper online than in the store but the store doesn't honor the online prices so we had to purchase online and then pick up at the store. It wasn't hard though and only took a few minutes. The kayaks were ready for pick up right away. The acting store manager, Keil, however; was AMAZING.
