I haven't come here in a long time, as I have just renewed my car registration online for the last 4 years. But in the past, I didn't have any issues when I did come here to do it. I have never been treated bad, yes sometimes there can be a long wait, but I've experienced that at other registration places too. The wait was probably around ten minutes even though the Just for Laffs made it seem like an hour. The transaction went by quickly but registration renewal is a pretty routine thing anyway. The staff are friendly enough but they all seem phased by the ravages of routine. In other words - they're bored. They're probably slightly desensitized to normal human interaction from the multitude of people stopping in without the correct paperwork who in turn throw a tantrum when they are refused service. Honestly, it's annoying to be turned away because you don't have a notarized letter from your stork filled out in triplicate by Brazil's ambassador to The Cayman Islands. And a current utility bill. It's always best to check online to see exactly what you need before standing in the Just for Laffs line. It saves you an ass-tonnage of heartache. They finally accept credit cards here now but you have to pay a 3% fee. It's best to bring cash or just use debit. Maybe they're using the 3% fee to pay for a wider cable subscription package? Doubt it.

Registration service was pretty fast and straightforward despite the long queue. I then asked if I could speak with an insurance broker to get a quote, I was guided to the reception where I waited for a couple of minutes for a broker to see me. Glenn is the most transparent insurance broker I have ever met, he told me everything about my current insurance, why I am paying this much, gave me an overview of the different insurance companies and the quoted premium, he even gave me tips on how it will be reduced in the future as well as how to get myself covered with other insurance packages without being pushy about getting me to sign with them. Although I did not get their business, I am impressed with the way Glenn accommodated me. For sure I will go to Farnese Insurance for my future insurance needs. Look for Glenn, I just learned that he is the owner when I asked for his business card at the end of our conversation. The reason I'm giving only 4 stars is I did not sign up with them because the quoted premiums he showed me were a bit higher than my current one, I wouldn't elaborate on that anymore. Nevertheless, my overall experience with Farnese has been a pleasant one.
