Joan and Claudia are amazing I was having a persist problem getting my youngest son his photo ID. I was being drowned in government red tape. These ladies cut through that whole mess with deadly humor. read more

Registrations Are Us is probably the best registrations office in town. Do I enjoy going to registrations? Never. Have I had to wait a looooong time here before? Of course, but... They sure seem to know what they are doing. Open 7 days a week and until 8pm M-F; that's reason enough for these guys to be my go to choice. My family recently traded in 2 vehicles and purchased 2 new vehicles and coincidently, the dealership we purcahsed from also highly recommended this location as the only peeps who really seem to know what they are doing! There are tables to sit, a fish aquarium for the kidlets to look at, and a couple vending machines for REALLY long waits. On my most recent visit, I wasn't pleased that I had to wait an extra 15 minutes and let 3 people behind me go ahead of me because the teller that kept being open didn't know how to close out a registration on a vehicle I sold. I even asked if she could call someone over to teach her and she said that it would take longer for her to learn than for me to wait. Well, waiting 4 customers later... I was admittedly annoyed. C'est la vie. We've previously come to this location when another registries office didn't understand how to proceed with our request and we had no issues here what so ever when presenting the same request. This location was clean, the staff are pretty good and I can't blame a gal for being new and not knowing all the ins and outs yet. Registrations Are Us, I'm sure I'll be seeing you soon :-) read more

Melony helped me today. What an awesome experience great personality and was so helpful! Give this woman a raise!!!

Best place to register! The staff is amazing, and, they are so kind and nice. If you live near 109, please go there for all your needs. Good on you guys read more

Treated like garbage. Accused of being a liar. After they Messed up my registration and I had to go to another place to have it fixed at an extra cost. Asked to leave after I got upset. Had about 6 woman screaming at me. Then they refused to fix their error. Rude, unprofessional and highly Unrecommended read more

Best hours of operation. Nicest counter staff. Easy parking. My daughter liked the fact that she could take the test for the learner's permit with pencil and paper as opposed to the other registries that use the electronic panel. It was easier on her brain. The wait area is very civilized. As homey as you can get. I've never had to wait in line. Things move quickly. I drive out of my to go here. read more

This registry is open later than other places which makes it convenient if you can't make it earlier, just purchased a car and need to get plates, or want to go do your errand after dinner. It is located next to the Hilton Double Tree Hotel, formerly known as the Mayfield. I have been here a few times to renew my license, register my new car and get new plates and bring family members to get their ID card. This place is very busy probably since they close later but the line goes very fast. There are about four cashiers/staff at the windows and they are very efficient. The other staff in the office are completing paperwork or taking pictures for ID. You usually have to pay by cash or debit but I recently noticed that they have a option available to pay by credit card however, there is a service charge. There's lot of parking in the lot and on the street but it may be difficult to get here by bus. read more

Fastest service I have ever received at a registry! Whoa! I often go for lunch at Rockin' Robyn's Diner in the same parking lot and have taken note of this registry many times. The end of February is near, so I popped in today after my lunch. I had about 10 minutes until I had to be back at work and hoped I'd be able to make it back on time. No worries! The first thing I noticed and liked was the sign on the door that said "CAT ON PREMISES." Sweet. When I walked in I noticed how big and open the room is; the counter is in front of you and to the right, and to the left there are a few tables. There seems to be a ton of room behind the counter, too. There were a few people ahead of me but my turn came surprisingly fast - less than two minutes. The lady who processed my vehicle renewal was very efficient and professional. I noticed that there was the option to pay by credit card, so I said I would pay that way. Before she took my card she mentioned that there was an extra 3% fee to use credit and told me what the total would be with that 3% added on without me even asking. There is no extra fee to use debit. Unfortunately I didn't get a glimpse of the kitty, but was told he was lounging on a chair in the back. Hopefully next time! Next time I need to make use of a registry I will absolutely go here! They have great, long hours and are open seven days a week. read more

I had a disagreement with one of the counter staff and I lost my temper. The next day she pointed out points that were correct and I appreciated she took to time to calmly discuss with me how she understood my concerns and how she would speak to management about my points. I also apologized for being upset and we were able to come to a resolution. This is how a good customer service agent acts. Kim is a knowledgeable employee who cares about her work and the customer. If I could give 100 stars I will . I had my driving test today , the instructor was Tyler , how to describe Tyler it will take too long as much Tyler is very professional , polite , patient and fair , he told me where I should fix my old driving habit that I developed over the past 40 years . If I will have fail my driving test , I will still give Tyler 100 starts cause his fairness and explanations are very professional and in case of a failure it will be my own fault , but I will have take the test again at this location . I recommend Tyler for first time drivers , this instructor is so calm , his humanity is beyond what we see theses day . I was also served by Krystina , again I was served with the highest respect and dignity .. On the behalf of my family and my self Thank you very much ..Merçi beaucoups . I wanna say again THANK YOU . I went to one of their locations for my Business Annual Report with the correct form filled out. They processed that and then give me a rather lengthy form to manually fill out. I asked why in the 21st Century we need to do a manual form - reply was only their corporate office is automated. So I cancelled the process went to another registry that took my form, processed it, took payment and gave me a receipt in around 2 minutes. No need to take time to fill out a detailed form and worry about legibility Will never go to Registrations Are Us again! read more

After standing in a very long line up and I finally got to talk to someone, the counter staff and manager (who I asked to speak to) are extremely rude and confrontational. I actually thought I was part of a comedy skit for bad customer service...they were that bad. The customer is never right here. DO NOT GO TO THIS REGISTRY. ANYWHERE ELSE IS A BETTER CHOICE. read more

These folks have been my "go-to" registration place for years now. Registrations Are Us is a full service registration office where you can also file vital statistics paperwork. When I got married last year the staff was very helpful with getting most of my documents changed over to my married name. It is a lot of paperwork to fill out but the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Passport applications, Alberta Health Care and any Alberta related vital statistics certificates are available here. Registrations Are Us does not have banker's hours like a lot of the other agencies do. They are open until 8pm on most weekdays, and they are also open on weekends. There is free parking available in the lot out front - watch the signs though, the other businesses have certain parking spots that are off limits. read more

I had several issues when paying for my registration renewal. First off, there's an extra charge to use credit cards. I used Apple Pay on my phone for my credit card. She then told me it didn't include the service charge and asked for my card again. So I tapped and assumed I was paying the extra fee but she had actually returned the whole transaction and I had to use my debit. (Which I told her I didn't want to do) Not sure why she couldn't put the whole amount on my credit card or at least the service on my debit. She was very rude during the whole exchange. read more

I recently saw a video of an Edmonton citizen that tried to go and renew his registration. He told staff that he had a medical exemption. They refused to serve him. He was in there for at least 20 minutes without his mask. They could have served him and had him out the door in 5 minutes. They chose instead to put the other patrons at risk since they seem to believe that he was a risk and was therefore refused service. The management needs to learn to make much better judgement calls for all reasons. This person then went to Callingwood Registeries and they honored his medical exemption and treated him humanely. I suggested people with medical exemptions head straight for Callingwood if they need to do in person registry. read more

The only registry in Edmonton open until 8pm weekdays, and 7 days a week. However, the lineup are often 20 minutes long, so it still could be open later, like 9pm weekdays and 5pm Sundays. Plus more staff to make the line more faster. read more

So busy given it's a Sunday - but the staff is so fast, helpful and pleasant. Waiting on my dealership to send the correct documents was the thing that was super slow. read more

This is my favourite registry, as well! I had some complicated problems a couple years ago and this was the only place that actually KNEW how to get better information for me, gave me telephone numbers of officials I needed to contact, and truly went out of their way to help me. In addition, they are as fast as they are efficient. The area inside is spacious, clean, and comfortable, even providing chairs and tables. I definitely recommend them! read more

Worst place to get your liscence. Booked my test and went in and was told I was late, I was actually 25 minutes earlier than I was supposed to be booked for and they kept my money was told to repay and rebook. Will NOT recommend to anyone. Will NOT be coming back. Terrible business. Rude employee. read more

Looking at the previous reviews, one could expect efficient quick service. But from what I just experienced, don't expect it to be the friendliest. I'll give them that they are one of the few registry offices open in the evening. But I don't think that caveat excuses them from being friendly. Having interacted with a few employees during this last visit, it's apparent that I didn't just happen upon one employee having a bad day. Let's just say: unhappy faces and disgruntled tones does not a happy customer make. I've come here many times over the years but it's been a while. And if this is the kind of staff they now employ, next time I'll be making arrangements to visit another registry office before they close at 5. read more

Best registry in town hands down! Had a very bad experience at another registry and came here they fixed everything and made my day! Go in and ask for Jay for any problems or frustrations, he went out of his way to answer any questions I had was super nice and awesome. Never going anywhere else ever again. I had the experience to witness incompetence at it best today. They want you to believe that they what they are doing . I went in there to get my prorate plates and the first thing the girl who is so called supervisor did was start saying I was missing paper work after it cleared the prorate office on 0the Wednesday. Incompetence at it best then I challenged them after the government agent said to me on the phone get them to phone me and I will walk them through. The girl when I said this she gave me a ditty look and pretented to phone and came back and said she is not there. I was looking she did call anyone. Them she came back and said we cannot accept this because it is not original. I said are you kidding me it is sent by the government. I walked out of there. I have friends in the government I will be talking to them tomorrow. There is a lot of rude people in the world and I see there is some of them there. Walked down the street to the other register and had my plates in ten minutes. Give me the good old days when people knew there jobs. It is obvious that these people do nnot read more
