My friend and I had an awesome experience here with the staff members at about 3:30 on June 6th, 2020. My friend had driven up from Calgary and was in the middle of a road trip where her front bumper had become unbracketed/was dragging on the ground. They helped us free of charge and popped it back into place! We were very thankful as she needed to drive back to Calgary and a quick fix like this helped her get home. This is mostly a comment on that staff. They were friendly and helpful. Without them she may not have been able to get back on the road. Apparently I have been going to the wrong Jiffy Lube this whole time! I used to think you just had to stand your ground and say no to all the things they tell you have to get on top of the oil change. Not a thing. Josh helped me today and he was absolutely wonderful. I will 100% be going the extra distance to have my car serviced at this location. Oh and fun fact. Stopped in for an oil change. While they were changing the oil, a worker, without saying a word, came into my car, pulled everything out of my glove compartment, making a mess of my passenger seat, and took out my cabin air filter and stuck it on my dash, leaving a trail of dust from the filter everywhere. He then proceeded to ask me if I wanted to pay $30 for a cabin air filter?!? If you like bullies and people who shame you to make a sale, then by all means come here. I am terrible for auto maintenance with the hours I work. It is almost next to impossible to get back into the city to get anything done before 6pm. I filled up my gas tank, checked the oil and to my horror it was black. Time for an oil change! I managed to get into Jiffy Lube at about 5:30 - they close at 6pm. They were still very thorough! The Lube shops are always really high pressure sales. These guys are no different. I realize it is their job, but wow! An "oil change" can end up costing hundreds of dollars. I did need to switch my car over to synthetic. Did not take them up on the "engine flush". Air filter and cabin filter desperately needed to be changed. All done quickly and efficiently. They even make sure all of your lights are operational. In and out in less than half an hour. Great job guys! read more

Not too sure if prices are cheaper other places, I just know that when my car says you need an oil change, I change it. I always end up dealing with Josh and he's super friendly, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Never an issue and I've done at least 6 oil changes here over the years with personal and company vehicles. read more

These guys are super fast and super friendly! They even have dog treats if you're on the go with your canine companion! There's always additional selling but I've never felt pressure to agree with what I'm not looking for. The only thing I don't like is that they reach into the car to put on the sticker, or turn my headlights off. Um, no, you can ask me and I'll do it. I'm a happy new customer!! Sadly a lot of places (including dealerships) take advantage of women and older people in this city. I've lived in a lot of cities and Edmonton is by far the worst for that from my experience. But these guys are really honest and fair. I might have needed more than an oil change today, but can't afford it at the moment and they understood and told me how to go about fixing my car issue in the future :) Such a relief from the usual oil change, which mechanics usually say you need 7 more things done to your car and try and scare you into doing it. I've been to this location probably 10 times during my car ownership days and it's usually the same. As soon as you pull your car up they just get started right away. The only thing they ask me is the mileage. I hate that. Ask me what I want first before you touch my car. Yes, 95% of the time people are there for just a quick oil change but still, just ask. I will say that I've had no problems with the work they do here but my last visit there was four people (1 guy, 3 women) working. The only nice person of the four was the guy. The woman had some serious attitude for some reason. I also noticed there was a tip function now on the debit machine. A tip? For what? Maybe if I got a paper and coffee... or something X-Rated. But yeah, every place thinks they need a tip now and this isn't one of them. read more

I'm a fan of Jiffy Lube. This one is close to home and I've never had to wait for service (there are three spots), even when going over a lunch hour. They do have a tendency to up-sell you on stuff - definitely ask a few questions as to whether it's really necessary, and price/cost/other options. I have never experienced any pressure to buy the top end product. I've always gotten a really friendly person who is knowledgeable - the last time he taught me how to reset the oil gauge on my dashboard. It's a fairly fast service, probably 20 minutes beginning to end, including their checks of your lights, rpm, etc. I also like that I can collect Air Miles here. I suspect that it costs more to have an oil change here but it's worth it for the convenience! read more

Got ripped off! They charged me $15 extra for a litre of oil because I went over their allowance due to my 5.7 litre engine, then did not top-off the oil. So I paid $15 extra for nothing. Then they would not accept a $5 discount coupon I had. Never going back there! read more

This jiffy lube did an oil change on my vehicle. Before I paid, they asked me where I lived, then they gave me the bill. This turned out to be $239 for synthetic. A couple days ago I went to the ford dealer and they charged me $159 for full synthetic and a air filter. These guys will rip you off. Id stay away. read more

Unlike a previous woman wrote, I had a great experience here as a respected woman. I look very young and that usually gets me subpar attitudes with vehicles. The manager, Doyl, is a fantastic person. He was efficient and thorough. Inspection was thorough, and though I was told of some of the services they offer, I definitely didn't feel pressured. He seems to genuinely like his job. I've gone in 3 times for a 39.99 oil change. I've never paid under $75. Last time, the price was more like $160. They always upsell. Last time I was told my brake fluid and another (transmission?) fluid was below minimum levels. They sold me a bottle and "topped up" both. They gave me the bottle after. The ~350mL bottle was 3/4 full. I'm going to try somewhere else next time, since the advertised price is never even close to what you pay. I also have doubts about the earnestness of the techs, but I'm not mechanically savvy enough to say for sure. read more

Today I went in for a routine oil change. There is a notice on my file to replace my filter. The guy helping proceeded to lecture and scold me in a rude and condescending way for most of my service about this. I was visibly annoyed and angry. Upon leaving he says to me, "have a good day, and get that filter changed. Your dad would be so disappointed in you." Excuse me!? I am a grown ass woman and that's how you talk to your customers?? What an incredibly rude and sexist thing to say. I am so incredibly pissed off and hope this ignorant loser gets sacked! I've visited this location a few times, as I live in the area. I've gone by myself and with my male partner in the car. I get treated in a more condescending manner when I'm alone (I'm a female). Their sales tactics are incredible pushy, and almost scripted using fear and shame about the state of your car. I would check with a real mechanic before getting anything other than the oil change on your car.I have gone to other locations and have been treated with way more respect,I would not recommend unless you are in a bind. Got an oil change on my toyota camry from these guys and had my car break down on me. Had my mechanic look at it and he was able to hand tighten the oil filter for at least two turns. All the oil had leaked out and ruined my engine. When I called in to tell them about the problem they told me the guy working on my car was a very experienced technician. Just because he was experienced doesn't mean he messed up but they refused to take blame. read more

I was there on August 26/2016 5pm I need oil changed immediately the guy was very pushy try to sell me synthesis oil which i didn't want just regular oil change .make me feel poor why y not getting this why y not getting that rip me off $23 for red light change .couple a month end of October my car have engine light on take it to machines .
