I had Sal as my examiner for my road test yesterday, and I had a really positive experience. He was very professional, calm, respectful, and clear with his instructions throughout the test. He made me feel comfortable and treated me with kindness, which helped ease my nerves. I truly appreciate how fair and professional he was during the test. Thank you, Sal, for making what could have been a very stressful experience feel much more comfortable. I would definitely recommend him as an examiner! read more

I had an exceptionally positive experience during my Class 5 examination, largely due to the professionalism and supportive demeanor of both Examiner Ruby and Receptionist Zainab. Examiner Ruby conducted the assessment with remarkable composure and clarity, providing precise instructions that significantly alleviated my initial nervousness. Her fair and respectful approach fostered a comfortable testing environment, allowing me to perform with greater confidence and ease. Equally commendable was the assistance provided by Receptionist Zainab, whose warm and welcoming attitude set a positive tone from the outset. She managed the check-in process with efficiency and clarity, ensuring that all procedures were explained thoroughly and executed seamlessly. Her courteous communication and willingness to assist contributed greatly to a smooth and stress-free experience. Overall, the combined efforts of Ruby and Zainab exemplify a high standard of professionalism and customer service, making the entire process both well-organized and highly reassuring. read more

I had done business with some other registries before I discovered All Licenses. I found their staff very pleasant and clear in their explanations. Once the presented documents are correct and complete, they don't make any fuss with their clients as I had experienced with other registries. Please keep it up! Thank you. read more

I just came from All Licenses Ltd and I was expecting to be there for about an hour. I had to renew my vehicle registration and get a new license. I was in and out in 15 minutes! I couldn't believe it! Granted, I was the first person there, but still. I don't really have any complaints about this place except for the fact that they don't accept credit cards. That's a pet peeve of mine. Especially when you are providing services that could potentially get fairly expensive. The girl who helped me was nice. I had to do the talking because it was still early in the morning, but once I got her to smile, she chatted with me a bit. I have no complaints (other than the whole credit card thing). It was a good experience all around! read more

All Licenses - Departments of Motor Vehicles Near Me - Edmonton, Alberta

You come in, grab your number, and it goes downhill from there. Want to have a seat? Sure... I ride the LRT every day and sit on the LRT seats. The seats in this place thought... disgusting. Super gross. There is no pride in business ownership with this place. While we were waiting, we go to witness the most unprofessional employee I've had the delight to see. I was honestly laughing at the situation. There was a mom with two teenage-ish daughters. All I hear is the employee say "Excuse me but I'm not talking to you, I'm talking to her"... (she's telling the mom she's talking to the under age child). The daughter pipes up and says "Excuse me, please don't talk to my mom like that". The employee gets all defensive, the daughter told her she was being rude to her mom. It goes on and on, customers ask for a manager... and this is where I start laughing... the employee says "No, I'm not getting my manager, you can leave.".... LOL how is that any way to run a business? I was biting my tongue the entire time, refraining but standing up and saying "Get a damn manager"... but the customers kept insisting on speaking to a manager, and the employee seriously would not get one. Insane!!! So very unprofessional. And guess who ended up calling our number? Ya... she did. read more

Horrible road test examiners...no matter how much you practice...they come up with a mind set to scare, insult you, scream at you and ultimately fail you. You cannot change your examiner, cannot get a refund (in case you change your mind. Every time you have to visit their registry to book a road test (I mean it's 21st century, must be online/over the phone) and your schedule, day and time of choice doesn't matter for them. Stay away from GAMDUR (Road test Examiner) otherwise 100s of road tests are not enough to get PASS from him. Not at all recommended. Please share this as much as possible. Help yourself and others to save money and time. read more

I just took my 45 minute class 4 road test i was nervous i might take it twice, luckily passed the first time. The examiner Gamdur is a good guy, i was comfortable. He had tested me on my class 5 as well. read more

Do not waste your time going to this registry. The people who work here are beyond useless. I went in to get my license renewed and they shredded my old license even though I specifically told them not to because I was going to look into my other options and come back if I changed my mind. They have such a garbage review as it is I should of known better but I will file a complaint against them and their useless management and hopefully by some miracle they will go out of business or get shutdown. Avoid at all costs!! read more

i just got home from All Licenses with a brand spankin' new class 5 advanced license! Anyway, i had my test here on the southside of Edmonton. Coming from a different country, i get to skip the basic testing and altho i've been driving for years, i had to unlearn some stuff and basically re-educate myself. i didn't go thru a driving school, just read posts from here and there, practise, and prayed ^_^ Also i've heard of people saying stuff like oh if you're originally from a diff. country, they wont let you pass the first time, yada yada yada but i didn't rub that in. I also had a great examiner, his name is Gamdur Brar, and yeah he said he's from India. I was kind of intimidated because i had to use his Benz, but he was cool and very accommodating. Plus i loved what he said to me at the end of the test, something like he doesn't need the money to fail someone that is deserving to pass, something like that. That's just awesome. All in all i had a great experience there, the staff too was accommodating and very informative. I'd recommend this registry anytime, specially Gamdur! read more

Do not take a driving test there! If you must, make sure to request NOT TO have GAMDUR as your tester. He will find a way to make you fail the test. Stay away from him. The registry is usually pretty fast to get licenses renewed and learners' tests and such. read more

STAY AWAY!! These guys are a bunch of dishonest crooks!!! They are going to take your money and there is nothing you can do about. My daughter went for 2 road tests at 90.00 per test. The first one, the lady was 45 mins late arrived totally and totally upset. She went back the next day and the instructor took her out for 10 mins and failed her again!! They are going to take your money !! I am going to lodge a complaint with Driver Programs and Licensing standards. If I could no stars I would read more

don't waste your money! roadtest examiners don't have considerations they are very strict if you're not the same race (indian) like them, should be replace!! much better canadian examiners only,, read more

I've been here a couple times, its always slow or understaffed. Only 1 to 3 people working at a time for a large quantity of people waiting. They're nice people and can get through your stuff pretty quick depending on what it is but it really is a minus when they don't accept credit cards. I took a driving test here and my instructor was 10 minutes late, then during the exam, she made me feel rushed since she had to keep to a schedule which I felt was a little rude since I had scheduled and paid for this time and she was the one who was late. But other than that its all quite nice, its been recently renvated so it has a nice relaxing and professional look about it. read more

I highly recommend this registry for driving tests and lessons. Instructors ensure you are made aware of your faults as well as your accomplishments and equip you with the knowledge required to past the test. You receive fair/responsible treatment from the instructors as well as clerks. The service is on par and the wait is not too long. read more

Never going back, stay away, cash grab. had a class 6 motorcycle road test, Examiner was yelling at me over an aweful FRS radio, wrote me up for stuff I did not do, failed me and would not listen when I tried to explain my point of veiw. Advised me to "rebook" exam THREE times. I felt he failed me to rebook me for the fee of doing the exam again (about $130). I have been driving 35 years and riding offroad motorcycles for 40 years. Went to Callingwood registeies 5 days later and passed no problem, exdaminer said I was a good driver. read more

I have lived in the area for years and went there for many things. Yesterday was the last time. It is a horrible experience. Feels like the government in a thrid world country. They don't seem to get it that there is competition and people will go elsewhere...i would rive to Leduc before I went back here. read more

I do not recommend taking a driving exam here under any circumstances, but particularly an advanced driver's exam. Negative comments about Gamdur in particular I agree with (please read the not recommended reviews that are more recent, as I wish I had before coming here). Though he seemed to be helpful at first, he was actually very negative and even antagonistic throughout the exam. In my experience, their examiners are inclined to fail advanced drivers on subjective charges (not even demerits) while claiming to be working "by the book," which makes for an unnecessarily antagonistic and extremely unpleasant driving exam. The staff inside was relatively helpful, though one of the women who helped me started an unnecessary transaction because she had failed to listen to what I'd asked. As commented elsewhere, there is also a charge for using credit which is very inconvenient when the exam is relatively expensive, and they do not allow you to get a refund under any circumstances. read more
