The wait was probably around ten minutes even though the Just for Laffs made it seem like an hour. The transaction went by quickly but registration renewal is a pretty routine thing anyway. The staff are friendly enough but they all seem phased by the ravages of routine. In other words - they're bored. They're probably slightly desensitized to normal human interaction from the multitude of people stopping in without the correct paperwork who in turn throw a tantrum when they are refused service. Honestly, it's annoying to be turned away because you don't have a notarized letter from your stork filled out in triplicate by Brazil's ambassador to The Cayman Islands. And a current utility bill. It's always best to check online to see exactly what you need before standing in the Just for Laffs line. It saves you an ass-tonnage of heartache. They finally accept credit cards here now but you have to pay a 3% fee. It's best to bring cash or just use debit. Maybe they're using the 3% fee to pay for a wider cable subscription package? Doubt it.

One plus is that I haven't had to wait long to be served, and haven't had to do anything other than renew my licence and registration, so my interactions with crabby staff have been brief. My spouse's experiences have been the same. Plus a 3% service charge to use credit cards, seriously? If I ever have anything more complicated than basic renewal, I'll go elsewhere.

Unfortunately the vehicle that I was taking the test with had light tint on the front windows but I had another vehicle about 5 min away but I was told there wasn't enough time and already past the 45 min for the test I didn't argue and ask to reschedule ro a 2 pm that was available or next day.
