The contract clearly states "whichever comes first", meaning mileage or time.By May, our car reached 6,000 km, and we were already past the 6‑month mark. Well within Toyota's normal maintenance schedule. When we went in, Toyota WEM refused to do the oil change and told us to "come back at 12,000 km." My husband went back June, July, and August, and every single time he came home disappointed because they still refused to perform the oil change we were promised. Their explanation was always the same: "Your car is under warranty, don't worry if it breaks down." Now it's September, our RAV4 is at 14,200 km, and Toyota WEM still refuses to honour the lifetime oil change agreement. We even showed them the paper that says "whichever comes first," and they dismissed it.We considered getting the oil changed elsewhere, but Toyota WEM kept implying our warranty might be affected , which left us feeling stuck and misled. At this point, we regret buying from Toyota WEM. The service has been dismissive, unhelpful, and has caused months of frustration. A dealership should honor its commitments.

Let's remember something , my truck is sitting in front of their garage door and a screwdriver is maybe $5 . The guy did loan me a tool but he sure hesitated . I did get my truck going too , and it , or anything else I ever own will never go into that parking . Rarely do I sub out my mechanical work , I've done my own for 3 decades . When I did , and used A-Tech , it was a brutal reminder as to why . BTW , when you see the parking lot full of vehicles that never get fixed , it's a sign of incompetence .
