Easy to get to, and close by a pub and a convenience store if you need a snack. Originally, I stopped in at around 5 PM but it was full of folks coming in after work for a variety of services. It was way better to go back the next morning at 10 AM. Just one dude in front of me and a bunch of employees free to help, so I was in and out in probably less than 10 minutes. Got the license changed, fixed my hair in the mirror helpfully hung next to the camera, and got my smize on for my new drivers license. They even held onto my sunglasses after I left them there, and picked them up later in the day. Happy registry-ing at Argyll!

When I was trying to change over insurance and went to another agenncy I felt more confused than when I went. Going to ama the Agent, who I think was named Justin, walked me through the process, helped me track down the documents I needed and overall saved me from a meltdown. The last visit I had Briann, who not only was super friendly and helpful. But she was able to give me the paperwork I needed for my health cards and explain why the number I had wasn't working, when no one ese knew. So 10/10 customer service indeed! The only con is that, you can get your insurance cheaper and there is a membership needed but for me, in the end it is worth it!

I had stopped into my "local" AMA a week prior, and proceeded to walk straight out because the line was bonkers long (as it always is at the Gateway BLVD location). I also have been stuck in ridiculous line-ups pretty much every time I've gone into the West-end location on 170th Street in Terra Losa - so I didn't expect anything much better at this one... Low and behold - no line up and lots of employees! Hallelujah! This may just be the hidden gem of an AMA that I have been searching for! Oh, and the 2 young ladies working the registration desk were just lovely!

I live in Edmonton but since I work…read morein Fort Saskatchewan, I decided to pass by to see if I could get a better quote on my vehicle insurance as well. Registration service was pretty fast and straightforward despite the long queue. I then asked if I could speak with an insurance broker to get a quote, I was guided to the reception where I waited for a couple of minutes for a broker to see me. Glenn is the most transparent insurance broker I have ever met, he told me everything about my current insurance, why I am paying this much, gave me an overview of the different insurance companies and the quoted premium, he even gave me tips on how it will be reduced in the future as well as how to get myself covered with other insurance packages without being pushy about getting me to sign with them. Although I did not get their business, I am impressed with the way Glenn accommodated me. For sure I will go to Farnese Insurance for my future insurance needs. Look for Glenn, I just learned that he is the owner when I asked for his business card at the end of our conversation. The reason I'm giving only 4 stars is I did not sign up with them because the quoted premiums he showed me were a bit higher than my current one, I wouldn't elaborate on that anymore. Nevertheless, my overall experience with Farnese has been a pleasant one.

That was just dumb of me, so I studied for weeks, relearning all the driving basics I forgot. I showed up here around 3pm, and was it ever busy. The place was totally packed; I was lucky I even got a seat. I had to take a number and wait patiently. I must have waited 20-25 mins, but my number was finally called. The lady at the counter was really nice and courteous. After I passed my test, (yay!) another lady did my eye exam. She was nice too, especially since I screwed up on one part. It wasn't because I couldn't see it properly, but because I was having a brain fart and didn't quite understand what she was asking me. Luckily, she didn't fail me for that. Even though it was busy, the staff was well organized and very knowledgeable and efficient. Hopefully, I'll be back here to get my Class 5 license and not my learner's again.
