After three days there was no follow-up. I had to contact them, was told payment was pending. Ok, no problem but was ot mentioned before? No. It tooke after the weekend to receive the translations with a bad attitude from the agent because she was on holidays now. If translations were ready, why didn't they contact and ask? In the end, we missed our chance and lost our money and efforts because of their delay. Also, the translations had mistakes!!

I feel that writing a yelp review provides so much more anonymity than writing a Facebook review where I'm able to be harassed by the team working for RTD Learning. I actually enjoyed the Biology 30 class and the professor was interesting and very insightful and loaded the entire class with tons of valuable information for the upcoming diploma. Fast forward to my next diploma preparation class to Science 30 taught by Mr. Ferguson. I've had the great fortune to sit with many great teachers and all of whom inspired me to excel and push myself to limits I didn't think I was capable of. This teacher however takes a different route. Instead of commanding dignified respect from his students he cracks jokes about sex, his wife constantly, drinking on the weekends, going out dancing, how he had a rough night out on the town the night prior. What makes it so uncomfortable was that this teacher literally pulled two guys aside from our class (during our class) to talk about some HOT girl a teacher of the two boys has as a daughter and how amazing she looks and she's smoking hot and proceeded to show pictures of her on his cell phone and then told these two young men that his wife works with her as a Disney Princess...... All of his jokes were geared towards the men in the room. They were mostly jokes about sex, getting girls, innuendos and other off topic jokes geared to get the guys in the class to like him. I'm not alone in thinking that is NOT how a teacher should behave. I looked around the classroom at this moment and I could see countless other women seated near me holding their hands to their foreheads and rolling their eyes at him. A few of us spoke after walking out on his last day quite early and people literally laughed their way out of the room and said "well now were fuc**d". This teacher not only didn't come prepared for the Diploma Prep Class but also handed out copied work from a previous Diploma Prep teacher with outdated information/wrong information and pieces missing from the booklets. Bypassing entire sections of our work books because he rambled on too often and didn't stick to our syllabus and had to rush forward. I've asked for a full refund and basically was promised a refund for this class and it was not provided. I expressed my distaste for the situation, professor and conduct immediately. Nothing has been acknowledged and none of my money has been refunded. I was a high 89 student and after taking Rock The Diploma I received a grade of 55. The last day of this diploma prep course was the day prior to my exam. I went into my exam filled with information from a teacher who cracked jokes and checked his cell phone more than actually teaching the class. It was aggravating and distracting. The booklet I had studied rigorously for 5 days while in the prep class was filled with outdated information and poorly constructed. I feel this threw off my entire previous efforts and brought down my GPA average to a point where I have to retake this class to be considered at any reputable school. I will never recommend to anyone to take Rock The Diploma and most of all the teacher Mr. Ferguson should be ashamed at his sexist and condescending remarks about women/towards women. Rock the Diploma did not take my concern seriously and gave me passive response e-mails with no result. This review is to warn other students that in my personal opinion. Laurel did caricatures of our family this summer at an outdoor event in Leduc…read more She was engaging, funny, and quick! After the school year started, we realized she had done a caricature for every teacher at our school as well! I asked about it and it turned out that she had done individual caricatures of each teacher from their yearly staff photo and it was given to each teacher as a year end gift! How cool is that?!?! I'd highly recommend her for corporate events or large parties!

We met Laurel through an event this week and she was wonderful! She takes about 10 minutes to draw…read moreeach caricature (I timed it) but you wouldn't know it in the details she adds to each drawing. We waited an hour and a half to get our picture, and it was worth every minute. She's also super friendly while you're sitting with her and even though it could be awkward having someone stare intently at you, she made us very comfortable. I will absolutely be considering her for the next big event I have. Such a treat!

When I was trying to change over insurance and went to another agenncy I felt more confused than when I went. Going to ama the Agent, who I think was named Justin, walked me through the process, helped me track down the documents I needed and overall saved me from a meltdown. The last visit I had Briann, who not only was super friendly and helpful. But she was able to give me the paperwork I needed for my health cards and explain why the number I had wasn't working, when no one ese knew. So 10/10 customer service indeed! The only con is that, you can get your insurance cheaper and there is a membership needed but for me, in the end it is worth it!

I had stopped into my "local" AMA a week prior, and proceeded to walk straight out because the line was bonkers long (as it always is at the Gateway BLVD location). I also have been stuck in ridiculous line-ups pretty much every time I've gone into the West-end location on 170th Street in Terra Losa - so I didn't expect anything much better at this one... Low and behold - no line up and lots of employees! Hallelujah! This may just be the hidden gem of an AMA that I have been searching for! Oh, and the 2 young ladies working the registration desk were just lovely!
