My hotel was serving the typical drip coffee and I decided I was gonna be in search of a good coffee house within a reasonable driving distance. It was pretty easy to find and when I walked in, I was greeted by a very friendly barista who was working the register. I told him that I like my coffee decaf and simple with a cold foam. After some perusing the menu items, I decided to let him choose for me. He chose an iced cappuccino with a rose infused coffee. It was alright - a little too foamy for my taste but it was good for what I needed. Nice coffee house- no tables inside- I sat outside in the shade while waiting.

I always knew of this robot barista coffee spot but never tried it until now. You pretty much order at the tablet or you can scan the QR code and order ahead. It's definitely worth a try for the first time. Note to definitely stir your drinks afterward (the left side has the lids and straws/stirrer, etc)!!! It's cool entertainment and this definitely marked my first ever robot coffee drink. Pricing was about $6.50, which isn't too bad for standard cafes and their pricing. You can text 818-464-4868 or email them if you need any help or assistance.

Cold brew w Cantina cream top, iced vanilla latte

Hidden gem on the corner of California and Brand. This tiny grab and go coffee spot is known for its unique drinks. Service was quick and friendly. There's no indoor seating, but parking is easy nearby. If you're into trying unique coffee drinks, this spot is worth checking out. We ordered the cold brew with the Cantina cream top and an iced vanilla latte. Regent uses whiskey or bourbon barrels to age the beans. I didn't realize until after and ordered the Cantina cream top (which I was not prepared to drink @8 am). I did feel like the vanilla latte was a bit watered down.

My 12 oz Vanilla Cold Brew Latte $9 tasted like milk with vanilla extract

Hmmm...What to say... After reading several reviews on Yelp, I decided to check this place out. The drink menu is limited and most cold drinks come in 8 oz. (Really? so small and so expensive) The 12 oz size for cold drinks are also limited and pricey. With that said, I was already sorry I had come here and thrown on what to order. I thought I had ordered the Cold Brew with Vanilla and cold foam but sadly I was wrong...I got what looked like a 12 oz cup of milk for $9! If you know anything about me, you know I like strong coffee and do not like milky looking coffee...So, this girl was not happy. My sister ordered an ice coffee which came in the "mini me" size for $8! Very over priced coffee here...I won't be back...but that's just my take... *ONLY A FEW TABLES - out front on the sidewalk *METER PARKING - only

BOURBON TIRAMISU DREAM Barrel-aged espresso, house-made vanilla syrup, cream top - perfect!

A hidden gem on the Southwest corner of California & Brand. This little hole-in-the-wall spot may only have 4 outdoor tables, but it delivers one of the most unique coffee experiences I've ever had. Their variety of roasts is impressive...including barrel-aged coffee, which I can't believe I'd never tried before. Barrel-aged bourbon/rum/whiskey/wine/etc.? Sure. But barrel-aged coffee? Game changer. We tried the Bourbon Tiramisu Dream and the Yuzu Matcha Cream Top. The BTD was absolutely amazing. The espresso's barrel-aged character gave it this nonalcoholic bourbon essence that took it over the top. The Yuzu Matcha Cream Top was just as impressive, made with house-made yuzu syrup and a light elderberry cream that tasted incredible. A couple well-crafted drinks. Definitely planning to come back and try more of their offerings. If you're into coffee that's a little out of the ordinary, this place is a must.

ICED MATCHA LATTE 6/10: The matcha latte was really smooth and had a decent matcha taste to it. I would say that it is a fairly standard matcha had a pleasant sweetness with light vanilla. My only notes are that the matcha latte was undermixed and that it was $8.25. I understand the high 7 to mid 8 dollar price points but for more speciality matcha lattes such as those with cold foam already included in the price. NOTES -- - Street parking! - They sell a really good Mr Peelz banana budding..

I Like Coffee Because It Gives Me The Illusion That I Might Be Good At Giving Reviews. That said let's begin this roaster review. Regent Coffee is a local coffee roaster that produce exceptional quality drinks. They are located on Brand ave in Glendale. They have coffee and tea drinks as well as specialties. Similarly, they offer a limited pastries. Indoor seats are nonexistent albeit they have front outdoor seats with a fantastic street view. We came on a warm-98 degree-afternoon to quench our thirst. We were perfunctorily greeted by a tall female (with pink highlight hair) staff. I perused their menu and ordered a Burundi Cold Brew ($7.50) x 1/2 & 1/2 milk. I was desirous of having refreshing drink at this shop, and they did not disappoint. My CB was really smooth, full, and perfectly sweetened with slight hint of Mango fruit. Prices matched the quality of their coffee drinks. Service was good. Staff were affable with compendious knowledge of coffee making. Vibe was positive. Overall, as a first time customer I liked my cold brew and had a pleasant order experience. I highly recommend you visit.

As a first timer, I was really excited to try it but first impressions just weren't good. Came in during the morning and it did seem a little busy. Upon looking at the menu, the team member didn't greet or ask if we had questions, it felt like he had to stop what he was doing because we walked in. Lately, I've been enjoying Matcha, specifically matcha lattes. While I understand that every shop makes their differently, when I order, its typically following up with questions such as asking dairy alternatives, sweetener, etc.. none of those were ask which left me feeling a little uncertain with what I ordered, but felt out of place so I didn't feel confident enough to speak up. Despite the lobby looking busy, there was only 1 person with a drink ahead of us and I get my item not long after someone gets their Lavender something. Get my matcha latte, looks nice, presentation is there as the milk and matcha have a nice gradient effect, however, upon the first sip, im met with clumps of unwhisked matcha. Unsweetened and unwhisked matcha. My husband and I bought two so it was either $14 or $16 dollars (he paid, not me). I took it home and tried to whisked it myself but didn't too good of a job. Wish I had photographed what it looked like before, but theres only a table or two outside which was occupied by someone holding an business meeting and not a lot of room to stand inside.

Second time coming here, it is has the small coffee shop feel as its not super big inside but I like how its mostly dedicated for the making of coffee. The barista that was taking our order seemed to be tired or did not offer any suggestions or ask if we needed any recommendations when we were looking at the menu for a while. Didn't feel welcoming. I felt the lobby area to be less upscale than i remember. The neon board is not lit. The wall with the text before used to be a big menu with the letters, it felt a bit empty with just the phrase on there. I got the Lavander Latte with oatmilk. It tasted great, no complaints with the coffee. Overall good coffee, but the service and lobby can use some improvement, as the coffee is not cheap, theres lots of coffee shops around to choose from.

Drink 5/5: cold brew tasted so good wow, I thought I was drinking alcohol lol I don't know what they did but coffee shop looked like a science lab lol Service 5/5 quick and high quality Ambiance 5/5 I highly recommend!

Dropped by Regent Coffee in Glendale with my good friend. If memory serves, this coffee shop has been here for many years. It seems that they have remodeled. The inside is mostly for coffee roasting and brewing coffee drinks. Only aboit 25% of the store at the front is space for ordering drinks and to browse postings / flyers / communications from the community. I wish there was inside seating. Still, the store is charming, clean, and gives you the sense that they take coffee seriously - a desirable quality for dedicated coffee connoisseurs. The staff person helping us was friendly, making helpful suggestions as we perused their menu. Since it was hot, my friend and I were wanting a refreshing drink. The store offered a specialty barrel-aged espresso tonic with lavender syrup. They also had a fizzy (sparkling water) americano with yuzu syrup. It was my friend's first time trying an espresso tonic so we ended up customizing our own drinks: classic espresso tonic (tonic water) with yuzu syrup. Our drinks were perfect: good espresso that was rich in flavor, perfect hint of bitterness, offset by the sweetness of the tonic water and the bright citrus from the yuzu. They also had some pretty tasty looking pastry options which I skipped this time around. I'll be back again for sure.

Disappointed in the milk options. Only whole milk for a dairy option, no skim or nonfat. If you don't mind the calorie count, you might like this place. Most people seem to love the heavier items they carry like whole milk tiramisu latte thats a cream top, rich pastries and banana pudding, but wish there were some variety. They also seem kinda short staffed. Coffee quality is decent and the shop is cute. Not really a place to hang out as there's no real seating in case that's what you're looking for.

Maple latte and Bourbon Barrel Aged Cold Brew
    Deisy R.

I had the maple latte and tried the bourbon cold brew. The bourbon cold brew was quite tasty, its strong and you can definitely taste that alcohol-y twist while keeping it non-alcoholic. The maple latte was just okay in my opinion, the espresso tasted quite good but I couldn't stand quite taste the maple. Although there were other people working at the shop, it was one person taking the orders and making the drinks when we walked in. We had to wait about 15- 20 minutes for our order to be taken/order to be ready. Afterwards there was a long line behind us. There really isn't any place to sit inside but there are some tables outside.

Ask the Community - Regent Coffee

I am intrigued by the Bourbon barrel aged cold brew. How much of the Bourbon flavor permeates the Cold Brew?

It's pronounced; there is no mistaking it's there, but it's an essence rather than tasting like an additive. Definitely worth trying the cold brew and the various whole bean options.

Do they roast coffee beans at this location?

Yes, Regent Coffee currently has only one location, on Brand Blvd in Glendale. It's where we roast all our coffee, serve various drinks, and make food. We also offer coffee and brewing accessories as well.

Unfortunately, the experience was the complete opposite. Despite having only six tables, the wait was extremely long. My Eggs Benedict with avocado and salmon took about 30 minutes, and my daughter's food arrived another 15 minutes later. My coffee came even later--and was the wrong drink. The salmon was dry, tough, and brown around the edges. The bread was dry and so difficult to cut that I practically gave up. The coffee tasted terrible. I went to the counter and politely explained the problems and asked if I could get something else. I was told no because the food is made to order. I also explained that I had ordered a hot espresso, not an iced coffee, but was told I hadn't specified that. The young woman said she would get the manager. We waited another 15 minutes, and no manager ever came to our table. So we left. For the prices they charge, I expect better food, better service, and--most importantly--some effort to make things right when a customer is unhappy.

One thing I appreciated immediately was the parking. There is plenty of street parking, a parking structure directly across the street, and additional parking nearby, so getting there was surprisingly easy. As soon as we walked in, the owner, who was sitting near the entrance, warmly welcomed us. We initially started walking toward the cozy booth section in the back, but were told that area is reserved for dinner service and wasn't open... We weren't the only ones confused, as another guest came in shortly after and tried to sit there as well. That left us deciding between a few café tables downstairs, outdoor seating, or the upstairs loft. We first tried upstairs, but there were only a couple of two-top tables available. One was occupied by guests working on laptops, and the seating felt a little close together. The remaining tables were reserved for larger parties, so we ended up heading back downstairs. One of the available booths faced the restroom, which isn't my favorite, but I simply sat on the opposite side and it worked out just fine. Once we got settled, everything improved. Our server was friendly, attentive, and happy to offer recommendations. I ordered the French baguette turkey sandwich, while we also tried the spicy chicken sandwich, which both the server and the owner highly recommended. The owner even mentioned it's what he personally eats almost every day, and I can see why, it was delicious. We also ordered fries to share along with two hot lattes: a chai tea latte and a mocha. Both coffee drinks were excellent and easily some of the highlights of our meal. The atmosphere is charming and cozy, making it a great place to relax, catch up with friends, or enjoy a coffee date. Before dessert, the owner recommended the mini pancakes and the waffles, with ice cream. They both looked great, but I've had similar desserts at several other cafés recently, so I wanted to try something different. I ordered the brownie with ice cream instead, and I'm so glad I did. It was rich, fresh, and absolutely delicious. One thing the owner emphasized was that they use fresh ingredients without preservatives and focus on quality. After our meal, I believe it. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and made with care. Our total for two people, including tip, came to about $120. It's a little on the pricier side for a café, but you're also paying for the ambiance, quality ingredients, attentive service, and the overall experience. Overall, we had a very enjoyable visit. My only suggestion would be to make the seating situation a little clearer for first-time guests, since several of us naturally gravitated toward the closed dining section. Other than that, the welcoming hospitality, quality food, excellent coffee, and relaxing atmosphere made this a place I'd happily return to.

When I approached the counter, I was greeted by the friendly employees who were busy preparing orders. This gave me the opportunity to peruse their unique menu and settle upon a latte to order. My sweet tooth was in effect and I opted for the Tiramisu latte with oat milk and was asked if sweet was ok! I thought it was so cool how you're able to customize the drink as you please and bonus points for no charge for nondairy milk. It was very affordable at $6.85. My latte came out pretty quickly and I marveled at the cocoa powdered topping. It truly tasted like a dessert and was so rich and indulgent yet somehow I didn't feel gross after drinking it. The oat milk was creamy and perfectly frothed and the espresso was well balanced. This was my first time trying Philz Coffee. It didn't disappoint. Coffee tasted good, it was…read moreperfectly made. It was not too sweet and had the perfect amount of creamer. Since it was my first time, I placed the order online. So I don't mess up the order and hold the line by deciding what to order. The pick up process was kind of confusing cause there were no sign for online order pick up. I had to go to the register and ask about the pick up. The young lady who helped was nice and explained how pick up works. Appreciate the helpfulness. This location has both indoor and outdoor seating area. There are several tables inside and I notice couple of tables outside. Store was very clean and well maintained. They also had sample cookies by the register for customers to try which was a nice gesture . This coffee shop is located in walking distance from Americana which makes it a great spot to grab coffee after shopping. There is street parking available and Americana/ Glendale Galleria are another option for parking. I will be back to try different coffees , since the menu looks different than other coffee places.
