I ordered one of their signature lattes with oat milk as well as a barrel aged cold brew for later. My son ordered an iced latte. The lattes were smooth and delicious! Update: The owner responded. $8 for a single cookie is diabolical and made me so mad I had to write a review. Came here after the place I normally get this brand of cookies didn't have any in stock. They charge $6 per cookie, which is still a lot but understandable since they're vegan and huge. But I can't rationalize $8 for one chocolate chip cookie. Would never come here again solely because of that. Update: The person who rang me up actually told me the cookies used to be ~$6 for some but the owner changed the price to $8 for all of them to make it easier. I'm always looking for coffee spots wherever I go. While in Glendale I finally had the time to stop by Regent Coffee and give it a try. I have passed by it many many times but never got a chance to stop by. I got Guatemala La Pia cold brew coffee 12oz with easy whole milk for $5.50 ... it tasted ok, normally I pay that much for a 16oz cup in other coffee shops. They have a barrel aged cold brew that sounded interesting and I wonder how it tastes. So next time I'll try that. Overall the ambiance is ok, no indoor seating but few tables outside. This coffee shop is insane lol and I'm all for it. Taste of a shot of espresso (blossom blend) so profound that it includes a shot cup of sparkling mineral water for palate cleansing. Quite an experience to say the least. Though, my favorite drink that I tried here is the Y-05 lychee single brew. At first it tastes like a standard drip coffee but then the taste *blooms* into a very clean lychee flavor. Pretty mind-blowing actually. Never tasted such a coffee drink before (let alone a lychee-based one in general). Highly recommend if you're a lychee fan. The cantina cream top was recommended by the friendly and very informative gentleman at the cashier and it tastes just like a creamed version of an old fashioned cocktail. Very pronounced bourbon flavor notes. The Guatemala la pia cold brew has an interesting silky mouthfeel to it. Quite smooth cold brew taste. Good for non-fruit coffee folks as it's not really fruity but I still personally noticed a hint of something like of a muddled blueberry flavor. Overall can't recommend this coffee shop enough if you're an adventurous coffee drinker. Hands-down a top 5 out of the coffee shops that I've visited. read more

The staff here are so helpful and are very knowledgeable in coffee. The inside of the shop is small since the remodel was completed, but it doesn't take from having personalized conversations with the staff if you really want to talk coffee (which I don't, but many that come in have gone into in depth conversations regarding coffee, beans, fermentation, etc). They roast their beans in house as well as age their own bourbon coffee in the shop. There's also a selection of gluten free/dairy free/vegan food options in the fridge, for those that can't eat the selection of pastries they offer as well. read more

I've had the best coffee from here! I loved their bourbon affogato and bourbon tiramisu latte. Ive never had affogato like theirs, it's amazing!! The only problem I had here was an inconsistency of my drink. I've only been here 3 times and twice ordered the affogato. Unfortunately, the most recent order was half of what I got-- it was still amazing but I wasn't sure if they were just generous with it before or it's really supposed to be half full? Overall, still the most unique and delicious coffee I've had. As for the place, it's small and cozy, there are seats outside. The staff are friendly and willing to get recommendations. Presentation of it all was great. Workers: very nice. Cashier didn't really make any recommendations as I was looking at the menu, but she was patient. I came here with two colleagues before work. We're from out of town and this was a highly rated coffee shop. It was very expensive ($25 for three coffees). All three of us ordered vastly different things (a drip coffee, a hot vanilla latte, and the bourbon tiramisu coffee) and we all hated it. We threw them away after a few sips. Also there's no place to sit inside so just be aware this is not a "go sit and work" coffee shop. The staff was friendly so that was the only plus side. read more

Everything else was good and the foam was super smooth. Regent Coffee used to locate in San Gabriel (a block away from San Gabriel Superstore), but they moved from San Gabriel to Glendale in 2017 and honestly there aren't many third wave coffee shops in the SGV (San Gabriel Valley) area to begin with. The coffee shop is located just a block away from Porto's Bakery. There's a parking structure a block away from the coffee shop and you can park up to 90 minutes for free. There are few outdoor tables and you are able to rent a power bank too. Regent Coffee sources specialty grade & single-origin coffee and they sell Bourbon Barrel Aged Cold Brew (made from green coffee beans). For the espresso menu, an upgrade on Burbon Barrel Aged will be an additional $2. Adding house-made syrup like vanilla/rose/lavender/osmanthus will be an additional $0.75. They also offer a good selection on teas. *** Rose Latte (hot, 12 oz milk - $5.00 + $0.75): The drink had the right sweetness & foam texture and creaminess were on the point. It was a really good cup of latte. *** Really good latte and I am now really sad that they moved from San Gabriel to Glendale. Great coffee shop in Glendale. They used to have a location in San Gabriel, which I missed so much but I would still grab a to go when I'm in the area. This coffee shop makes the best dripped coffee. You must try their drip coffee for the day as you won't regret it. Though it does take at least 10 minutes due to the drip process. The coffee shop does offer coffee beans for purchase, pastries and yogurt. It's a tad small, not much seating inside but there are a couple outside.
