The food and crew are amazing, and the place is open late. The place is a decent size but be ready to wait if you have a big group. The place share the parking lot with the other establishment in the plaza pack your patience in waiting for a spot or there are a lot of street parking as well. We went to this place twice already and we will be back. If you're coming from Universal Studios Theme Park or having a movie night out or looking for a good ramen on a cold weather, this is the perfect spot for you. read more

Just amazing. Got the Japanese curry and it was better than the one I had in Japan honestly. Super cool presentation with the smoke. Cool cozy place with a great night time aesthetic. I'd love to try their other ramens, and their sushi. Great work! read more

I'm blown away how good their plant-based broth is! I got the Yuzu sesame ramen. Usually my problem with plant based broth is its just watery and has no depth. Well this one is soo good and thick! So much flavor that you forget its plant based. Also its not overly salty! It has that tonkotsu depth flavor without the greasiness. Also their noodles is cook to perfection. Like made with good ramen noodles. We also tried their ginger curry and that is also amazing. I make a lot of Japanese curry and their broth is just amazing like 12/10. Getting the combo is great way to finish the broth since the rice soaks up the soup and eating it with different texture. read more

Was looking for some ramen. Found them on Yelp on my way to North Hollywood. Nice, cozy spot. As soon as I walked in, the person right away approached the counter. I ordered the spicy miso ramen, and it was extra spicy. Food was brought very fast. On the side, I had my Japanese powder spice and a Chinese spicy oil. Added them both. The Ramen was very hot (in temp) just like I like it I'm no expert on Ramen, but it was amazing! I was sweating and sniffling but enjoyed every bite. Because seeing mostly 5 stars reviews here; i did have a very high expectation of the ramen here! Unfortunately, it's quite a disappointment! I ordered no. 5 and it did have Yuzu favor in the first bite but nothing much other than that! The smoky thing didn't elevate the favor of the ramen but reminded me the incense in the temple! One star is given to the friendly staff! read more

Decided to give this new place on the block a try! I came in on a rainy Saturday and there was no wait which is awesome! I didn't realize they are a fully vegan ramen shop! I looked at the photos before coming and couldn't tell at all from the photos. You order at the front and help yourself to water and they bring the ramen to you. More of a casual experience but the decor and over all ambiance is very vibey and would make for a great date night! I'm personally not vegan but I thought I'd give it a try anyways! I got the spicy miso ramen. They cook their brother for just as many hours as a traditional bone broth ramen and you can tell! It was thick and creamy and full of flavor! I was happily surprised by the rich and boldness they were able to get from veggies! It comes with curly thick noodles that were bouncy and delicious, very small hunks of vegan meat (I didn't mind not having much but I image if you are vegan you probably would've wished they added more), marinated tofu that was soft and flavorful, corn, fresh arugula, and raw sprouts. I'm docking one point just for personal preference I don't really love smoky flavored things, and the ramen was served covered in a smoke dome. It was a little overwhelming for me. It didn't affect the broth or noodles too much, but all of the veggies tasted like they were hanging out next to campfire, which to some people might be a good thing! I also think the price point is a little high, but I know making high-quality vegan food is always on the pricy side. All and all it was a good experience, I would definitely bring any vegetarian/vegan friends here I think it's probably one of the best out there! read more

Super yummy and friendly service! The setting and atmosphere was really unique and nice to be in

are u kidding me? my new go-to ramen! It's so flavorful and just overall good. The vibe of the restaurant especially at night is too good as well. OUTSTANDING. ほんとうに!!! I don't know where to begin, but I'll start by saying that if you're in the Studio City area or can get there, then make it a point to visit this tiny ramen joint. You will NOT regret it. It doesn't matter if you're not vegan, you won't know the difference because their broth is to die for. I'm near that area a lot and decided one day on a whim to try them and I'm so glad I did. Aside from the unexpectedly cool vibe and ambience, the guys who run it have to be two of the NICEST people I've ever met in LA. The food, service and presentation are top notch--better than many Michelin restaurants I've experienced. They opened in Boston first and then opened this first location on the West Coast. I really hope they survive and expand because there's a difference in the way they serve and take care of you. I even noticed that they put felt under the legs of their chairs and table bottoms to prevent distracting noise when you have to move them to get seated. Everything is so well thought out. And it's CLEAN. Truly amazing all the way around. This is a 100% unsolicited review and I haven't written one in a long time, but I really felt these guys deserved it. And I'll go back, for sure. Do try it--you'll thank me later. Thanks for reading. Enjoy! read more

The best vegan on the east coast has arrived to the west! Tried this place in Boston and it is the most poppin' vegan ramen place in town, and was pleasantly surprised to see they recently opened a second location in Los Angeles. Extremely flavorful, creative, and filling. Got the combo with risotto rice which you dump in after you've finished the noodles to absorb the leftover broth. I was very hungry and I am no more! Very fast service, my pickup order was ready in less than 10 minutes. The restaurant space is cozy and trendy - perfect for any date night. read more

My wife and I decided to try this place since it had very good reviews. We were disappointed to say the least. The sitting is tight so our baby stroller didn't have much space. The biggest shock of it all was the risotto rice that we got with the ramen combo. It was literally rice with black pepper and shredded cheese... I can't believe that is even a dish at a restaurant. The ramen had this smoked cover concept. My wife had to go outside with the baby so I can uncover the ramen. The ramen itself was decent but nothing special. Overall a 2/5 read more

I think plant based ramen has finally properly entered the chat. A beautiful balance of rich flavors awaits you beneath a soft cloud of smoke. The lighting is set so that your focus is on your meal and your meal only - as it should be! The ambiance is hip, simple, modern, intimate. Pick among 8 choices of ramen - I opted for the red hot miso myself. Food comes quickly, and your journey begins once you lift the lid as your ramen is introduced while the smoke dissipates in front of you. I've had quite a few plant-based ramen before, and genuinely this is the first time I've had one that is comparable to traditional ramen that uses animal products. There's a high target to hit when you're trying to match the same richness evoked by flavors typically only unleashed after hours of developing a tonkotsu or dashi broth, but with plant based ingredients. The layering and harmony of the smoke, umami (likely from a mushroom dashi?) miso, and sesame flavors synergize to pack a rich punch. Many other plant based ramens fall flat on the richness, but this one really hits the spot. Perhaps the mushroom could be balanced a bit more nicely, as there's a slight earthy aftertaste that is a tad off-putting if you're used to non plant based ramen. There's a fine line to balance as the sesame and mushroom and smoke can all clash if any are overdone, but this place finds that balance well enough. I imagine the yuzu sesame would be delicious as the citrus yuzu would help with the earthiness. Overall, a delicious bowl of ramen, with chewy noodles and a nice helping of vegetable toppings. Pleasure of rich ramen without the guilt! We also ordered the roasted miso avocado roll. I could've gone without this. There was too much rice, but the roasted miso sauce was tasty. Overall, solid spot. Would recommend to carnivorous and plant-based friends! read more

I love that it's plant based but I've had better ramen in LA. The restaurant is blacked out from the outside so at night it's hard to see. I ordered the spicy ramen and half avocado roll.
