RedWhite - Curry Ramen - Ramen Near Me - Studio City, California

Little did I know that this spot was vegan, I wanted to give it a try anyways! And WOW! I wasn't sure what to expect, but from the pictures, it caught my attention right away. I ordered the spicy roasted miso avocado roll and No. 8 red hot miso ramen...when I tell you how flavorful and amazing everything was..MARK MY WORDS! The service was exceptional! The lady who helped me out made my experience even better! She answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable with my decisions. The ambiance was so cool too, definitely gave a late-nice speakeasy with the dimmed lighting type of vibe and I loved it. Just go do you and me a favor and check them out! read more

HOLY MOLY YES. This place is top notch for vegan ramen. It's the sort of spot you leave a Yelp review for to help ensure it stays open. Highly recommend for both vegans and carnivores. read more

Great food, quick service and had no idea it was plant based but it was awesome!! Highly recommend

Wow!! No other word to describe this place! The service, spectacular! The ambiance, beautiful, calm, cozy, romantic. The food though. My goodness. We didn't realize it was a vegan restaurant and it was absolutely delicious! The restaurant is pretty quaint and cozy. The ambiance is fabulous as well! The only negative is parking but it's well worth it! We highly recommend this deliciousness and will return! read more

Everything was amazing, went with my vegan girlfriend and the food was so yummy. U really enjoyed the yuzu broth

I think its funny that when we order and got seated we didn't realize its a vegan friendly ramen shop. Lol. But... omg the ramen was so delicious that I told my husband I wish we had this shop closer to us cause I would go every weekend. However, the sushi roll doesn't fit my palate. There was too much sauce on it. Now the ambiance of this place is amazing. Even the presentation of the ramen and the entire smoke thingy. Its so dramatic, but beautiful at the same time. read more

I knew when I tasted my food earlier today that I had found the best vegan ramen in the valley ~ outstanding, the portions are worth every penny & then some.... The tastes are deep and enriched with such flavor you will have trouble focusing for the rest of the day on anything other than the superb cuisine served at this establishment ~ MAGNIFICENT ~ bring a location to the Westside! Some of the best food I've ever had! Great service, great ambiance, and a great experience overall. The staff was really nice, and helped us feel welcome and guided us through their menu since it was our first time. The entire menu is vegan/vegetarian friendly, which is super rare for a ramen spot. I loved it so much... definitely a Michelin-starred restaurant. read more

Couldn't have asked for a better spot on a cold night. Spouse is vegan so this was a pleasant surprise finding out the variety of plant based options. All the ramen and rolls are vegan. I didn't verify if the Mac and cheese dishes were. Either way, don't let it put you off it you're used to having animal protein. The tofu was perfectly seasoned and really firm texture. All the broths seemed to be on the heavier side but really flavorful. Pretty IG worthy as others' reviews have shown. I think they have to keep the front door open just to air out the smoke from every order. It's a counter service joint, extremely small with only about ten 2 seater tables-which you can push together to seat a bigger party. The staff was quick, friendly and attentive. Would definitely revisit if given the opportunity in the future. read more

RedWhite - Price is now $18 starting for ramen - Ramen Near Me - Studio City, California

This place is a solid vegan ramen spot. The spicy ramen is by far my favorite. Haven't been a huge fan of the sushi or the Mac and cheese we've tried. It's a ramen spot so stick to the ramen & you'll be happy, it's huge so you don't need all the apps anyways! read more

I've been lucky enough to travel to Japan several times to eat and try new Vegan food, overall the consensus remains the same; best food in the world. This place is no different and what's even better, it topped all of the Vegan ramen I've had in Japan to date (well beyond anything I've found in the US). They brought so many of the traditional flavors from Japan, but added some LA style twists. We tried the curry, yuzu and miso ramen. Each one was incredibly distinct in flavor and unique, plus the toppings paired perfectly. This place is no joke, these are full bodied ramens and their chili oil was worth it . Yuzu was probably my favorite, I've never had anything quite like it. The other two are a close second either way and next time I'm hoping to try the red, as well as the truffle ramen. This place really is legit and I hope whether you're Vegan or not, you give this place a chance. read more

Looking for a food spot anytime after 1am is difficult but to find such a nice spot that delivers a great ambiance and even better food was definitely a highlight of my night. The service was very friendly and it hands down is some of the best ramen I've ever had period. read more

Service was amazing. Food was top notch. My son has been wanting to come here for quite some time and he was not disappointed. We are vegan and have only had vegan ramen one other place. It was nice to come to a fully vegan ramen restaurant that was so flavorful. Upon arriving, the menu was explained very well. On another note the cold water is delicious too! Haha! Either it was the best water we ever had or we were dehydrated from our visit to Griffith Observatory! My son says he will prefer to get his ramen without the smoke next time. He was glad he tried it as is, but thinks he'll like it better without. read more

I had gone solely based on the star rating and wasn't expecting it to be a vegan spot, yet the flavor didn't disappoint one bit! Atmosphere is intimate with low table lighting so good for small groups of friends 3-4 or dates. read more

VEGAN RAMEN! Wow! I hate tofu or anything that tries to imitate meat/chicken etc. I did not realize this place was vegan, however the ramen and broth looked good. Decided to give it a try ordered the tofu and fake meat on the side (sorry don't know what it's called). Ordered the SPICY and the SESAME RAMEN they were both SPECTACULAR in FLAVOR! Decided to try the tofu and omg! It was delicious it had the texture of a Mexican cheese and the imitation meat was good aswell. Definitely worth a try. I'll be coming back and ordering the tofu and meat inside the ramen. The restaurant itself is small but cute. FOOD:10/10 FLAVOR:11/10!! Service:10/10 COMING BACK:1000% YES! read more

I have a new favorite ramen place!!!! REDWHITE is everything I want, and so close to my house. Super grateful. My partner and I shared the Roasted Miso Avocado Roll. It was incredibly lovely. All of the flavors and mouth feels! Smoky, umami, chewy, crunchy. I couldn't recommend this dish more. What's great is that you have the option to purchase a full or half roll. Super accommodating. Thank you for this. I ordered the No. 5 Yuzu Sesame Ramen. It was delightful. It might be the best ramen I've ever eaten. The flavors had such an amazing depth. I was super impressed with the chew of the noodles. I added broccoli to my dish which was a bit of extra fun. The dome of smoky goodness was truly a delight. If I didn't have leftovers in the fridge, I might go back tomorrow to try the No. 8 Red Hot Miso. My partner ordered the No. 3 Original Miso. He says it was good. He wanted a little heat and so as we were eating he asked for some chili oil. That was perfect. I actually borrowed some of said chili oil (as much as one can borrow chili oil) and it boosted my dish as well. REDWHITE also has a robust selection of Liquid Death sparkling water. I wouldn't say their ramen is particularly heavy by any means, but sparkling water goes so well with ramen. For me this is a very pleasant beverage offering. The ambiance in the restaurant has a class to it. The lights on the tables are worth mentioning in that they're illuminating but not invasive. REDWHITE has a vibe. I'm so grateful for the warm welcome and how I felt brought into the fold. The music is my jam as well, so please keep that going. I so look forward to my next trip to REDWHITE. Eating here felt nourishing and also made me feel happy. Many many thanks for your hospitality and delicious noms. read more

One of the best bowls of ramen I've had in years! Absolutely delicious and full of flavors and textures. It was sweet, it was salty, it was crunchy, and the noodles were cooked absolutely perfectly. I'm generally dead set against Instagram gimmicks like smoking cocktails. But when the ramen arrived with a lid full of smoke under it, and I removed the lid, and I took that first bite, I was really pleasantly surprised.... the smoke absolutely enhanced the flavor of the ramen. Kudos to redwhite for making a delicious bowl of fairly traditional ramen with just the right amount of innovation. read more

Amazing. Absolutely delicious. I had the Red Hot Miso Ramen & my boyfriend had the Yuzu Sesame Ramen. I tasted the broth in his & it was a very interesting flavor. MY NEW GO TO RAMEN SPOT! I am EXTREMELY impressed! I came last week for takeout because I was worried it would be a long wait (because of the amazing reviews!) When I came for pick up, the owner was SO FRIENDLY & SO GRATEFUL I ordered. He was just the sweetest. I immediately noticed the sleek Japanese style ambience & I was like, "I gotta come in & eat!" We both got the miso broth Ramen & the truffle mac & cheese! The ramen was not overly salty like most places & you can tell the ingredients are HIGH QUALITY! The Mac & cheese was perfect as well. Can't even tell that it's vegan! So cheesy & the truffle wasn't overpowering. So here I am, a week later! We loved it take out, so we KNEW it would be even better fresh out the kitchen! We got to speak to the owner today & he was just the friendliest guy. He is from Japan, so you know this place is LEGIT! When you eat in, you get the smoke experience! We felt like it really elevated the cuisine & the ambience, & the smoky flavor permeated throughout the entire dish. This time we also got the risotto to add in at the end after finishing the noodles! The rice was so good I wanted to eat it alone! This is definitely our new favorite spot & we can't wait to be regulars! read more

Too much rice, low on protein, the flavors are the same in the rolls, I'm not order more things, when I comeback I will eat different things

Found this place on yelp during my latest trip to LA. Small joint in a tiny strip mall= hidden gem. Only about 10 tables in the place but wasn't packed on a Saturday evening. Small menu means they do a few things really well. I ordered a original miso ramen with the smoked treatment. Added a great depth of flavor on top of the fun presentation. They also serve Liquid Death sparkling water which is the best one out there. Staff was really nice and helpful. Can't wait to come back again and I'm telling everyone I know about it. read more

Really sub par, when ordering there was no menu, The ramen was tasteless. They're a big production of creating Smoke the was served hot. When served the noodles were cold.. Netter Pass this one up and head to little Tokyo read more

Ordered delivery, and it arrived quickly despite us being almost 5 miles away. Ramen is very tasty and better quality that some other options out there. Can't complain too much when a vegan restaurant pops up, but the portion is pretty small for the price (over $120 for 4 ramens with all the various fees), and despite the menu saying they contained soy meat and tofu, they only contained a couple tiny cubes of tofu. Edit: i bumped up a star as it appears the "soy meat" was a crumble at the bottom of the broth. Still not very much though. read more

WOW WOW WOW My son and I decided to try this place out we Absolutely LOVED it. Nice ambience and the food is absolutely to die for. We ordered the three appetizers which were two kinds of mac & cheese, and miso avocado all three were delicious. My son got the full meal with the rice, which you're supposed to add after you finish your Ramen noodles, making it into risotto . I was so sorry. I didn't get the same because it was so delicious. We can't wait to return. My daughter and her friend went there for dinner and said it was the best Ramen they had ever had. read more
