This review is for take out. We ordered at the end of the day, so not sure if that affected the quality ? Unfortunately I did not love my food. First off, my husband and I both ordered ramen and our takeout containers had noticeably different amounts of broth. He got a spicy ramen and I got a pork tonkotsu. The pork in my order was bone dry, not at all tasty. The noodles were also kind of hard. The broth wasn't terrible, but it didn't have that umami packed flavor I am used to with tonkotsu broth. I did enjoy the bamboo shoots and the spinach that came in the bowl. We also got the spicy shrimp dumplings and we enjoyed those. They had a great kick!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved this little spot - it feels comfy and family run, and the food packs some serious flavor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came in because we saw this in our inKind app and felt like some ramen. We were really impressed! [[HIGHLIGHT]]First off, when you walk in, it feels a little like a Parisian cafe, with cozy tables arranged right next to each other, super cute decor, and a pretty awning out front.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My wife had the tonkatsu ramen and I the curry ramen. Both were amazing, though after trying both, I would give the edge to the tonkatsu. We also had some gyozas, which came with a yummy sauce. Everything was fresh and the broth was rich in the way the best tonkatsu ramen often is. When we came in, we noticed this place also has some great happy hour deals, including getting 5 bucks off any ramen during happy hour. Since this is near our neighborhood, we will absolutely be back for that!

I was led to Burosu Ramen by Yelp and had to give it a try. Here's what we ordered... Chicken Karaage: pretty good Howaito ramen (tonkotsu): Good. Broth is on the lighter side compared to more well known ramen shops, but it was good. I was disappointed with the bland flavor of the chashu pork slices. Yuzu ramen: Good. Lighter flavor than other ramen shops and definitely less heat. I would order it again. Service was quick and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was empty when I was there, so it was really quiet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Location: Ventura Blvd. and Laurelgrove (same corner mall as CPK) Parking: Underground. $3.00 with validation from restaurant I plan to go back and try their other dishes.

The reviews and a craving for ramen made us drive nearly an hour, round trip. For us, this visit was just fine. I honestly wasn't a huge fan of the Ramen, which was just okay. I might have chosen the wrong one as the people at the next table seemed to love theirs, but for me, it was pretty bland and basic. The flavor of the broth was more like a chicken bouillon than a bone broth. Noodles were a bit too al dente. Sushi/sashimi was a better option, and we liked the spicy tuna crispy rice. Good selection of saki, and they have a TON of tea-based drinks. Service was very nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe was okay, but it was surprisingly loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Was looking for a Ramen spot over the weekend and came across Burosu, so happy I found it. Such a cute little spot right on Ventura Blvd. It is small, but decorated very cute and it is a cozy Ramen spot with also a Boba shop connected. We got there a little before 6 and had to put in our name for a table of 6, they said the wait might be about an hour, but ended up being only about 30 minutes, that was great! While we were waiting, we noticed they have a daily happy hour from 3-7 (except Tuesday's) they have drink specials and other food special, but what caught our eye was $5 off all Ramen during happy hour. That is a great Happy hour and I recommend you check them out, happy hour or otherwise. There are maybe 25-30 seats inside and when not raining looks like they may have some outdoor seating. We got a number of Ramen dishes a couple dry "Mazemen style" and a couple traditional, as well as a couple rice based dishes with unagi, shrimp tempura and a sweet violet drink. Everything was excellent, although I would not recommend the shrimp tempura over rice, my father-in-law got it and it was very basic, but it did come with miso soup, but needed a bit more to it in my opinion. Other than that, the Ramen was excellent the Mazemen style was also excellent and the unagi was super tasty, yum! Ended up saving about $20 since we were there during happy hour, bonus! Street parking here can be challenging, but there is an underground lot, I believe valet only as well as a parking lot in the rear, but check the parking restrictions. We found street parking luckily very quickly. Enjoy!

We had a wonderful experience at Burosu Ramen. We made a reservation through Resy, which I highly recommend, as the restaurant is an intimate space with approximately 20 seats indoors and additional seating outside. The happy hour menu offers excellent value, and each dish we ordered was thoughtfully prepared. The ramen noodles closely resemble those served in Japan, with a pleasantly firm texture and authentic bite. The broth is lighter than traditional Japanese styles, yet remains well-balanced and flavorful without feeling heavy. The sashimi and sushi rolls were notably fresh and beautifully presented. Dessert was equally impressive -- adding boba to the soft serve is a must, as the pearls remain soft and chewy even when mixed into the ice cream. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and generous with recommendations. Parking in the surrounding area was manageable and relatively easy to find.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Excellent food, service and ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This quaint ramen sushi joint had some of the best temaki rolls I ever had. The spicy tuna temaki were amazing. So too was the spicy crab crunchy rice. We also had a spider roll. The service was fabulous and kind, keeping our water glasses full and making sure we got plenty from the happy hour. This place is excellent and I'm so happy we came upon it yesterday. Thank you

Exploring new Ramen places and ran across this restaurant. Even it doesn't seem like authentic Ramen shop but reviews are great so I have decided to try it out. I found the street parking nearby luckily when I arrived. I walked up to the restaurant and saw the sign for happy hour which takes $5 off of any Ramen bowels. Also has additional happy hour menu. They have nice outdoor seating and also have good decor of interior. Seems to be owner or manager was taking care of customers and very attentive. Ordered spicy Tonkotsu with minced meat and non spicy version with regular meat. Spicy Tonkotsu comes with some veggies and the meat tasted like they cooked it with tomato which reminds of some Thai dishes, since they are Thai they might have put some twist in it. The Ramen texture was good though. Regular Tonkotsu ramen was ok but as I was expected it cannot beat some good ramen from little Tokyo. I give this place 5 stars because of their happy hour price. Very good noodle soup for good price. I would repeat.

Came here excited to try this spot. Parking is rough. Mostly street parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is very compact.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ordered Howaito ramen with extra protein and a salmon bowl. Service was good. But they missed my extra pork. Ramen flavor was basic. Tasted like typical sushi buffet ramen. Nothing memorable. Salmon bowl was a letdown. No vegetables. Very tiny chopped salmon. Very little fish eggs. Felt empty and rushed. Overall, disappointing dishes.

This small restaurant went above and beyond to help us celebrate a friends birthday. Our party took over the majority of inside seating. Outside tables were still available. They have a walk up to order counter as well for takeout, beverages and desserts. When I say above and beyond, I mean it. The table had a balloon on it from the business which read Happy Birthday and ended the night with a sizable and delicious dessert...yes, we all tasted the waffle, fruit and matcha soft serve. For a party of about a dozen, we werewolf taken care of. Service was fast and pretty attentive or at least we could grab her attention easily. Our table had some sharable items as well as us each ordering our main dishes, drinks and a few desserts. Everything was great! All the friends were satisfied with their meals of choice. Overall price point was decent. Slightly high in my opinion on some items, but fair on others. There is underground parking with a few hours free, or street parking which I have lucked out with anytime I'm in the area.

Walked in and felt more like a boba shop until they seated us and handed us the menus. A good selection of sushi, happy hour items, ramen, bowls, etc. Matcha soft serve was 8.9/10. Not too sweet but a little tad icey but generous and delicious. Ramen: 8.4/10 egg was a bit too cooked. Good clean chicken broth with a good chewy noodles to compliment it. Chicken breast was slightly dry but everything was well executed. Salmon bowl: 8.5/10 reminds me of what I had as a kid when I mixed up my own bowls. Matcha passion fruit: 8.7/10 generous and delicious and not too sweet (compliment). Potatoe croquette: 8.6/10. Good deep fry with golden brown exterior and a nice soft pillowly goodness. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Millennial beige vibes with cute small tea party tables outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Recommend especially during happy hour. Service was outstanding and such a friendly and attentive staff

Decor is lovely here, bright and open with tall ceilings. We came during happy hour and got five dollars off our ramen bowls. The chashu was tender, and I enjoyed the spinach and mushrooms that came with the ramen. Service was slow, and it was difficult to get our server's attention even though it was not busy. The broth was also too salty for my personal taste, and I was not able to finish my bowl as it became overwhelming toward the end.

Food- I ordered their ramen to try but they have a good selection of sushi as well. My first time there and this place is cute inside and outside. I ended up ordering Reddo and Howaito ramen dishes. I really like their noodles because they cooked right and good portion too. The soup has flavors but my preference is bold flavor of soup. I always look for that bold flavor of soup at ramen places but I didn't really get that here. If you like light ramen soup, then this is for you. Service- they were really nice and orders came out fast. They suggested what to order for us and we took their advice and went with it. Ambiance- place is clean and well organized with decoration of flowers and chairs. It was pleasant to look at and sit down in this beautiful surrounding. I will come back to try their sushi again.

Especially one open very late most nights! So many times after a long late work day I had no options for food, having a gluten allergy and being vegan, so now this is where I can go and expect a nearly perfect ramen every time. The no. 10 ramen (that has no broth) is my favorite. The ramen with broth is on the thicker side, and every type is good. They kinda all taste very similar to be honest. But even for people that eat meat, all the flavor is still present in the broth and ingredients. The atmosphere is also very nice and dark, with a decent amount of seats and nice background music playing, no annoying top 40 stuff. Always some nice electronic music that isn't too energetic or too sleepy. Sometimes there can be loud people but that really can't be helped in todays culture unfortunately, especially LA. I do wish they had more caffeine free drink options. Maybe some liquid death sodas, la crouix, or lemonade options would go well with the ramen or rolls! **The only other thing to keep in mind is that they tend to stop serving within a half hour of closing and sometimes they close early, might be best to order ahead or call if you intend on coming by around closing time, I was very disappointed two times because of this. ** Also, there is a shared lot and usually open spots on the street too. I recommend parking on the street as the parking lot can be a bit chaotic.

We ordered the crunchy sushi roll, the spicy Totonsku and edamame . The food was delicious!!! We never been here before and didn't know what to expect . Edamame was warm and snappy . Crunch roll was on the bigger side, exactly what you expect of shrimp tempura and imitation crab . Lastly the soup , very very spicy . We asked the waitress for about 6-7 of spicy and I think we got like 9. I am not complaining I though, I think we needed the heat . We had to eat the soup with the edamame simultaneously: it was that hot . If you like spicy order the spicy tontonsku, and also order a Pinot Grigio to go with it. Best combination ever , the brightness of the wine would cool down my palate as a gulped the fire water from the soup . If you don't like spicy , make sure you tell them you want it less spicy . Overall : I'm intrigued and want to go back . I did not give it 5 starts because it was very quiet , there was no music ; we can hear the food being made in the kitchen. Which to me it's not a problem, but having some nice melodic tunes wouldn't hurt the ambience neither. Come to Tamashii House if you dare !

The OG Ramen was deeply comforting and satisfying, with a rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles that held up well from start to finish. Seated in a rather interesting part of North Hollywood, the summer heat did not deter us from eating here, as the smell immediately brought my worries elsewhere. A vast majority of the food here was fantastic, and the only reason I was going to opt for 4 stars was the takoyaki had quite a tiny portion in the actual dough ball- despite the actual breading so soft and fluffy, it was like the most delightfully extravagant packaging for something that was a bit of a let down. Though, much to the credit of our waiter she understood and offered to swap it out for another appetizer, which probably deserves the vast majority of the praise here. The vegetarian dumplings we ordered were legitmately some of the best dumplings I've had period. From the vegan mayo to the best gentle heat I've ever had the experience I've eating. Just hot enough for a brief moment with delightful heat throughout. The chicken skewers we had and the calamari were solid and with a perfectly paired Thai Iced Tea, I only hope to visit again and drown in dumplings. Cheers!

The host was nice and tried to get us on the patio but it was packed, so we grabbed a booth in the corner next to the little bar section. They were quick to take our order and the food arrived shortly after. We ordered the: Handmade Fried Pork Gyoza Crispy Chicken Karaage Curry Bowl The Shoyu Ramen Cut California Roll My oldest kid really loved the sushi, while my youngest did not. my friend thought the Curry bowl was amazing, and my oldest son picked at his shoyu ramen. I had a feeling he didn't like it but he said it was too hot. I loved the pork gyoza but wasn't really a fan of the chicken karaage. The few pieces I had felt like it was the fried fat pieces of the chicken but maybe I got some bad pieces. So it was pretty much a mix of opinions. This is my review, so I'll go as far as to say, I would order the pork gyoza again but I wouldn't order the chicken karaage. However, I do want to try the Cajun Mazemen if we come again, but it wouldn't be any time soon. Overall, this place is solid and I think if you love ramen, give it a shot.
