You have to walk outside of food court bottom street level and the restaurant will be toward your left upon exiting. The service was great & I'm on quite a restricted diet now with all my medical issues. The kitchen was able to accommodate thankfully. That means everything to me because of my strict medical diet. The stir fried plain chicken noodles were delicious. My husband had a fully loaded spicy noodle soup that he absolutely enjoyed. Clean restaurant, great service and good attitudes all around. Now, it's been a while since I've had a meal at this establishment but I have to say, the spicy beef noodle stew was extra oily this time. What happened? So happy they opened this location! Lots of open seating for parties big and small, plus there is indoor and outdoor seating. Noodle St is so consistent in the quality and flavor of their food! I am SO happy Noodle St finally opened in the Westfield Sherman Oaks Mall! It's about time this chain has come to the valley. It's located on the outside of the mall so if you park by Macy's or in the parking structure closer to the Macy's side that works, but honestly, you'll probably want to walk after you feast. We got the Spicy Beef Noodle Stew, Braised Chicken Noodle, Stir Fry Noodles with Shrimp, Garlic Green Beans, and Pork Buns. What a meal we all had! Spicy Beef Noodle Stew was probably the best one I've had. The garlic green beans was delicious and not lacking on the garlic. The knife cut noodles are the way to go! It's fun to watch them make it in the kitchen. Honestly, our least favorite was the Juicy Pork Buns; it was on the sweeter side and some people may like that; to each their own right. The ginger that it came with was also pretty weak. We've been twice already and both times, the service was great. We all came on a Saturday night (when it was packed) and a Tuesday evening, which was not as busy. I thought the service was wonderful both times! We've been by this place several times in Fashion Square and decided to try it. Big, very pleasant surprise. The place is very clean and very comfortable, and the service is excellent. It's a classic beef noodle soup it wasn't spicy at all and the portions were good Cucumber Salad: 3/5 It was basically just vinegar and garlic. Very basic and refreshing but I would not order it again. Xiao Long bao: 3/5 The soup was all gone from most dumplings when it arrived to our table. My personal favorite is the chewy knife cut. It's so yummy! Do not sleep on their beverages. My favorite is the peach tea! It's really good and refreshing. I suggest trying their XLB (Juicy pork dumplings). They're so good and I'm excited to finally have a location close to home! Service was superb as always. Me and my family have been waiting for this location to open for ....years!!! And finally, it's here! We normally go to the one in Arcadia, and for the last 4 years we pretty much tried all the menu items. Servers are working hard, it did get really busy at night. We ordered the Signature beef noodle, spicy beef noodle and cold noodle. All three in standard round noodle . The noodle is slightly thicker than the ones we have, but it's still very tasty. I know they have other locations, but they're quite far from the Valley, so having one closer by is definitely a win! I was waiting for Noodle St in Sherman Oaks to open and upon further review, I think there is a lot of potential here to make this a go to destination for Chinese hand pulled noodles in the San Fernando Valley. Sure, the location left some to be desired. Located off of the parking lot next to the rear entrance of the Westfield Fashion Square mall, it's not beaming with ambiance of fine dining, but it's not supposed to as this is a uniquely Chinese cuisine meant to be slurp loudly and proudly. Flavors are on par with what you would expect from locations in the SGV...in fact with the added benefit that the food is less oily and less salty than expected. The beef noodle soup is the star of the show with a cleared white broth that's brewing with flavors. On top of which, being someone with a sensitive stomach, the soup is not as oily as the ones found in traditional beef noodle soup locations, but still packs a punch of flavors. In fact, the only thing that I hope they will work on is the service which was a little bit hit and miss...but excusable being a new location that's still working out the kinks. I would definitely keep an eye at this location and hopefully word of mouth will turn this into a go to destination in this part of the valley. read more

Tons of dark-meat chicken, potatoes, veggies, and plenty of noodles. The flavor reminded me a lot of Korean 닭도리탕...savory, hearty, with just enough kick. I tried the short rib noodle soup, and even on a hot day, it was so good! My only wish is that they had gone a little lighter on the cilantro in mine. I really liked Noodle Street and enjoyed the food, but I did feel like the manager was giving a little too much attention to one particular table. Our waiter was great he was just busy taking another customer's order, which is completely understandable. Since he was occupied, I asked the manager for a side of sriracha. He seemed to forget almost immediately and went back to catering to the same table. I noticed he gave them complimentary chopsticks, an additional drink, and even helped carry their belongings out to their car. Meanwhile I'm just sitting there like... dang, all I wanted was some sriracha . It took a couple of "Can I please get some sriracha?" before I finally got it. It might seem like a small thing, but when customers are trying a new restaurant, those little interactions matter. Everyone wants to feel acknowledged and receive the same level of hospitality. Especially when it's something as simple as a sauce that would make the meal more enjoyable. Our waiter was good and attentive when he could be he was simply busy and could have used some assistance. We also got a kids tray with bowl spoon and fork to share with our 2 year old. Got the signature beef noodle, and here there are 2 choices of noodles (vs ; in Pasadena), I got the thick knife cut which is the chewiest and I love it! So tasty especially with some chili oil and black vinegar! Yum! Also got the amazing cucumber salad, vinegary and garlicky, yum! And the scallion pancakes, deep fried and oh so tasty! The kale in the soup was excellent and really yummy. My eating partner's cabbage and pork fried dumplings were also excellent, flavored well and nicely cooked. I like how all the utensils are branded. Very high quality. The service was absolutely fantastic and it is always awesome to find a place so well run. I came to Noodle St with my family. This was actually our second time dining here. During our first visit, we ordered the xiao long bao, but unfortunately they were undercooked. Since the restaurant had just opened, I understood that there could be some issues in the beginning and was willing to give them a chance. At that time, a server named Justin helped us. He was very patient, apologized sincerely, and handled our complaint professionally. He also assured us that they would pay closer attention to the quality of every dish. His attitude was actually one of the reasons we decided to come back for a second visit. Unfortunately, this time we were really disappointed. We ordered the soup dumplings again, and once again, they were undercooked. This time, I didn't say anything to the server. I wanted to see if anyone would notice the problem when clearing the table or when we paid the bill. Unfortunately, no one did. What disappointed me even more was that throughout the entire meal, no manager or supervisor came by to check on our experience. I understand that a newly opened restaurant may not be perfect. But if you already know there have been issues with the quality of certain dishes, I would expect the restaurant to pay even more attention to the guests' experience and make sure the same problem doesn't happen again. This isn't a restaurant that has been open for years. It's a new restaurant, and this is exactly the time when consistency, food quality, and guest feedback should matter the most.
