New fav! Hands down this was worth the 35 min drive. I got the BMB and my friend got the Dalgona and I didn't try hers but mine was AMAZING! One thing I paid attention to was that they aren't using syrups or powders. That is a HUGE HUGE plus for me! I pay attention to that and really dislike when companies use those. They had a fresh tea machine that they continuously filled up with herbs and hot water and used that for the tea bases. Next time I come I'll be trying one of those! Red Straw tea bar is one of my favorite boba shops for more refreshing and fruity drinks. It's in a newer part of Carrollton Korea town and is always packed whenever I go there. Their menu is really huge so they have something for everyone, they also have some bingsoo from snowy village. I got the rose garden and peach bellini. The rose garden is a jasmine green tea combined with rose and lychee. The peach bellini was a peach black tea with lychee and mango. I love the little lychee bits in the rose garden but they don't put in that many. I liked the peach peach more, it had a like instead of a lemon so it added a bit more bitter flavor. It just tasted like everything was mixed in together perfectly. I would definitely recommend the peach bellini if you come here. read more

I really hope they can continue to do that because I've been to many bubble tea shops before where they did that in the beginning and then stopped. The drinks we got were really good! I got the strawberry matcha latte and my fiancé got the Peach Bellini. The only thing I would recommend for the shop is to add another screen & increase the font size. I went twice, back to back days since I loved the first time I went with a simple passion fruit tea and the tea was strong, boba was perfectly bouncy and solid overall. I went back and got the milk tea and jasmine milk tea which lacked the tea flavor of the first time. The grass hopper was cool, a popular choice I heard but it won't give you "boba vibes" but more so healthy juice forward type experience. Peach Bellini was also watery, would not recommend. No problems with the service, things moved smoothly with a slightly heavy flow of people. I ordered the Passionfruit Jasmine at 50% sweet and the jasmine flavor is strong! This is a good drink to sip on slowly (hence, "cocktail inspired"). The only thing that made my experience not as good as it would've been was that they ran out of boba, so I had to go with the agar boba, which is not bad, but not as good as regular boba. I didn't really like it because the creme and tea were separated such that you could taste the difference in each layer and it was difficult to mix together. However, the layers were good individually and they offer other drinks that are more traditional to a milk tea. While waiting for my drink, I talked to Megan more about their loose leaf teas that were in canisters, and she was super awesome at describing each profile! Now to the drinks: their menu is super impressive. There's pretty much everything you can imagine. Instead of the typical milk tea flavors, they offer specialized flavors and sophisticated tea flavors. I tried the Dalgona espresso with boba and I recommend this to all coffee lover.
