Terrible experience. I had been coming here for years despite noticing items coming back more worn. The final straw was when they ruined a new linen suit with multiple stains, a burned hole in the jacket, and wear marks on the shirt. Often local services get dinged for the slightest hiccup, which seems to be the case here in Redondo Cleaners overall ratings. Have been using RC for over 10 years and they keep getting better. Cheli, Zuben and the whole team are so kind! Plus, they always make sure my little stains and dirt marks get out of even delicate outfits. They've been honest with me about how an item might come out, and even dissuaded me from having it dry cleaned, losing theur busimoney! Was glad I listened as it was very old and fragile, and I'll live with small stains as opposed to total destruction. A newer addition to the team here is secret tailoring and genius repair and restoration talent, young Paul Peter. Wow you guys are missing out if you have delicate items that need repair and haven't come here! He of course can do the basics like hemming and such, but he did a reweaving job (I know he would say it wasn't real reweaving but it looked to my eyes like this!) on a super delicate, very high end vintage sweater of mine that is MIND boggling! Flawless. Yes, not cheap but I'd rather have it look right and be happy than a slapdash job. Have also been happy with shoes, boots and a handbag I have sent out for cleaning and basic repair via RB Cleaners. Takes about a week. Plenty of parking in the mornings; gets a little busy by midday. Extra parking under ground - with EV charging too! TL/dr: fabulous dry cleaners and repairs as well! read more

First time here. Brought a short wool coat to be dry cleaned and de-pilled. I was specific in my request. Came to pick it up and the bottom edge of my coat was dirty and the coat was not de-pilled. I left it with them to re-do and also left another coat that I wanted dry-cleaned and ALL buttons reinforced. I should have known better. When I came back, my short wool coat was not de-pilled and there were buttons on my coat that were not reinforced. In response to my complaint, I was told by the male seamstress that they tried (?), and/or did their best on the de-pilling. I told him I could go home and use my fabric shaver and get it done in 60 seconds. Again met with the same response. In response to the buttons on my coat that were not reinforced, I was told for an extra $5 a button, he could reinforce the rest. Unreal! These people must think their customers are idiots. After much back and forth, the male seamstress finally told me that I didn't have to pay. After all that pushback. What a total waste of my time. Will be a waste of yours too. Steer clear. Prices for dry cleaning are pretty much $4-$10 depending on the articles. Suit jackets are more than slacks and shirts...but I am willing to pay more for someone to not scorch my beloved custom tailored shirts. I had a whole heap of stuff done recently and it came out nice, didn't seem to have harsh chemicals, they honored my no starchy-starchy request, and... The ladies here are smiley AND nice. Everyone there is always pleasant, especially the Hispanic lady - she remembers your name and always has a smile. It's quite contagious. These people are great. they know me by name and literally are pulling my order when i walk up. Dry Cleaning is a tough business. Different fabrics behave differently. I have found that when i speak with them about how important am item is or issues i have had with other cleaners, they come up with solutions. i have high quality italian wool pants that other cleaners have made shiny. RBC told me to order a soft press which will prevent the material get shiny. I also am very tall and they put my 37" sleeved french cuffed shirts in longer bags so they dont drag on the floor. My wife is VERY, repeating VERY particular about her clothes and when you chat with them about your clothes, you get great service. with people that say the repairs are too high, well have you ever had anything repaired since 1987? It doesnt cost $5 anymore to do a repair. I have shoes that are over 20 years old that i take care of and have resouled every few years. a new heel for a shoe doesnt cost $10 anymore; it costs $17-20. i could throw away my shoes and buy cheap ones which wont last. when i was 10 and driving the lawn mower to get gas, it cost $.28 a gallon. Things are more expensive. what we pay for is service. But to get what we want, we have to ask for it. We have to ask how much a repair would be. We have to ask how they would repair it to make sure it is the way I/You would want. if you want cheap, you will get what you pay for. if you think they can repair a $49 shirt and make it brand new, forget it. i give this cleaner my $10,000 Masatomo (which i bought while drunk in vegas) and am happy with the cleaning they do. read more

Ive been taking our clothes here for the past 2+ years. we love it. It's so convenient to have them pick up our clothes and drop it off every Thursdays. They're super nice, punctual, and I love having a neighborhood place that I can count on and not have to worry about bringing my wallet since they have our credit card on file and charges it every week. Yes, there are some cons to that since I don't always review the charges but the convenience of it in this busy busy hectic world is ok with me.. I dropped off my brand new pair of Lucky Jeans to be hemmed and went back a week later to pick them up. I noticed later when I got home how awful the crooked hem looked. The tailor doesn't know anything about a jean stitch and working with fabric that has stretch. I could have done a better job. I tried working with the owner to get things resolved & they avoided me. I've been bringing my dry cleaning here for a few months. The prices are reasonable, in line or less than I'd been paying at other dry cleaners in the area. My clothes are clean, pressed and look nice. The staff seem courteous. It's usually about 3 days until I get my order back and I haven't asked for it sooner so I don't know if they do rush work. I went here to get some alterations done. They quoted me a price which was reasonable so I dropped my clothes off. Then I get a call a couple of hours later that they are almost finished but that they misquoted me and it will be double the price. This price is much higher then all the other cleaners I called. There is no way I would have agreed to that outrageous price! After a lengthy conversation I reluctantly agreed on a price slightly less then double just because I didn't want the hassle. You don't give someone a quote, do the work and then tell the customer it's going to be double the price. At least let the customer know before hand that the quote was incorrect to see if they still want the alterations done. On top of that, when I arrived to pick up my clothes they tried to charge me double the price again instead of the amount we agreed upon over the phone. If they had just given me the original quoted price and took a small loss and let me know they are giving me 50% off this one time, they would have gained a repeat customer out of me and made their money back 50x eventually even if the prices are higher then other cleaners. This place does horrible business and is overpriced. I would suggest finding different cleaners! read more

I recently took my two Canada Goose down jackets to be dry cleaned and it appears they were laundered instead which has ruined them. Inside the sleeves of the coats you could see all the lint and feathers that had come out during the process as well. The person behind the counter said her boss would contact me regarding the issue but I have yet to hear back for them about how this issue can be resolved. Until this issue is resolved I would avoid taking anything valuable to this place especially given the price of the service! My other wool jacket also has extreme pilling after being "dry cleaned" there. read more

I don't need my dry cleaner to feel like family, just do a good job and be polite and I am happy. We recently switched from this cleaner to another one a few blocks away and are so happy we did! The quality at Redondo Cleaners has really deteriorated over the last few years, but we stayed out of habit and because they were open on Sundays. EXPENSIVE. Offered a "discounted" price that came to $27.75. Another cleaner in the neighborhood was half that. One about 1.5 miles away was $11.70 FOR THE SAME ORDER. And the manager wasn't apologetic about it -- "That's the price we quoted." Been going there for 8 years -- and just lost a loyal customer because they're unwilling to meet a customer half way. I'm not a big customer as I don't take a lot of clothes to the cleaners but have always been treated extremely well by the entire staff. True, their prices are higher but with a 30% off coupon, which is readily available, makes the cost reasonable. Their quality is so far superior to any cleaners I have ever used in my 30 years in the South Bay. I've used the cheap ones and you can really see the difference. Recently I brought in 25 items that were donated to one of the charities I work with and, to my surprise, they dry cleaned each item and refused to accept any money.
