I brought in several Crate & Barrel curtain panels valued at approximately $900 for dry cleaning. Because of the cost of the curtains and the fact that they were in excellent condition, I specifically asked the owner, Sam, about potential risks before signing the waiver. During that conversation, Sam told me that pilling was a possibility, but he also stated that he had never personally encountered a situation where a customer's curtains experienced an adverse outcome from the cleaning process. He reassured me that everything would be fine. At no point did he mention shrinkage as a potential risk. That distinction is important because if I had been informed that shrinkage was a realistic possibility, I would not have proceeded with a nearly $400 dry-cleaning service on $900 curtains. I would have simply replaced them. Unfortunately, after cleaning, the curtains no longer matched in length. Panels that previously pooled slightly on the floor are now hanging approximately 3-5 inches above the floor, and the lengths appear inconsistent from panel to panel. In addition, the curtains appear to have been pressed improperly. The fabric no longer hangs straight. Instead, the sides appear narrower near the top and wider near the bottom, creating a noticeable billowing or hourglass effect. When I raised this concern, Sam acknowledged that the pressing issue was human error. I should note that I was unable to pick up the curtains for approximately a month due to a medical emergency. However, the condition of the curtains upon pickup does not change the fact that the shrinkage and pressing issues occurred during the cleaning and finishing process. What ultimately prompted this review was not just the outcome, but how the situation was handled. I spent approximately 20 minutes on the phone with Sam attempting to discuss the issue calmly and professionally. Rather than addressing the specific concerns I raised, he repeatedly insisted that I had been warned, despite the fact that shrinkage had never been mentioned. The conversation frequently drifted into broad generalizations about waivers and customer responsibility rather than the specific facts of what had been disclosed to me before I signed. When I explained that there is a meaningful difference between being warned about pilling and being warned about shrinkage, he maintained that shrinkage fell under the general umbrella of possible damage and that he could not be expected to list every potential outcome. I disagreed. When a customer specifically asks about risks, they deserve enough information to make an informed decision. I also found it unreasonable that I was told I could receive either a $50 accommodation for the shrinkage issue or have the curtains re-pressed to correct the acknowledged pressing error--but not both. These are two separate issues. One relates to the cleaning outcome, while the other relates to admitted workmanship during finishing. Perhaps most disappointing was being told that providing any additional accommodation would essentially amount to "running a charity instead of a business." After spending nearly $400 on the service and receiving curtains that no longer fit or hang properly, that comment felt dismissive and unnecessarily insulting. Had Sam simply acknowledged that shrinkage should have been discussed, shown some empathy, and worked collaboratively toward a reasonable solution, I likely would not be writing this review. Instead, I was left with damaged curtains, no meaningful resolution, and a conversation that left me feeling unheard and blamed for an outcome I specifically tried to avoid by asking questions upfront.

PRICING: Totally fair. I was pleasantly surprised to have been charged $25 for an original hem. To my understanding, it's more labor intensive compared to a standard hem. Sam helped me from the intake and even recognized me during my pickup. He's kind, polite, a real stand up guy running an honest business.

My wedding dress zipper kept getting stuck even though tried to adjust it, so she replaced the whole zipper entirely, and it was perfect! I also brought my reception dress here for alterations as well. After my wedding, I brought both dresses and my veil back for dry cleaning, and she had it ready for pick up in 3 days. Be careful not to park in their lot if you're not actually visiting the business (or the spa next door), as they have signs all over the place that clearly state that they tow vehicles. Dry cleaning only takes a few days, and hemming took less than a week. I didn't have any firm deadlines, so time wasn't of the essence, but let them know if you do and they can work with you. Keep in mind that hemming and tailoring will require you to change into the clothing on-site so that the tailor can pin the adjustments. There is a restroom in the very back for privacy - a bit tucked away and generally not for public use, but it does the trick. If you're trying to adjust pants or a dress, be sure to bring the shoes that you'll be wearing so that you have a solid idea of how the item will look once adjusted. Prices are a bit on the higher end compared to other small tailor and dry cleaning businesses that I've been to around LA. Tap to pay is your best bet for speed and convenience. The gentleman who owns and operates the shop is personable, efficient and polite. He has a huge fish tank and quite a lot of fun decor.

If you are on the fence about this, just do it! You've had a lifetime of not knowing, not connecting. Isn't it time to know? Connect yourself to history. It's like discovering a part of yourself that you never knew was missing. Like finding another half of a story you already thought you'd read. It's a very profound feeling. I highly recommend it!

I worked from home until recently, so mainly been living in PJs and sweatpants, so I took my clothes to dry cleaners only once or twice a year. This is a turtleneck cashmere sweater, which I used to wear about two to three times a year usually during holiday season to pair with my sparkly skirt. I took this sweater and about 10 other items for dry cleaning last year. I usually hang the items back in the closet after dry cleaning in the exact condition I picked up from the cleaner - in their vinyl bags and their hangers, until I decide to wear the item again. Earlier this year, I wanted to wear a cashmere summer cardigan, so I took it out of the bag and noticed som e hair, clearly not mine, and it was jut not clean. Then I went through some of other cashmere items and they were all like that - not properly cleaned and some random hair all over. I was so upset and took three items back to the cleaner and showed the guy the conditions. He said he'll redo them. I went back and picked them up a few days later, but was too upset to even examine them again. Months passed and I just took this sweater out of closet as I way trying few outfits for tomorrow. The photos are showing the condition of a supposedly dry-cleaned TWICE without single use sweater as of today, 12-3-2025. All different types of hair were found all of over. I cannot take a good photo but it looks like it was washed with darker clothes as there are dark green/blackish lints all over. Also, after you dry clean cashmere, it should look cleaned with no visible lints, but not this. There is no point of taking this back at this point, but I am beyond frustration and I honestly don't think this is clean for me to wear ever again. Again, this was just out of vinyl cover which was taped sealed at the bottom, so nothing got in. The hair strands I collected from this sweater are on the tissue paper which was folded in with this sweater, used by this dry cleaner. I have no pets or kids and this was stored inside the closet space where I barely open since I stored/hid this item (along with the other two sweaters they supposedly re-did the cleaning, which are still in the vinyl cover and I highly doubt that they dry cleaned again) because I was too upset at the time I picked up.

What ultimately prompted this review was not just the outcome, but how the situation was handled. I spent approximately 20 minutes on the phone with Sam attempting to discuss the issue calmly and professionally. Rather than addressing the specific concerns I raised, he repeatedly insisted that I had been warned, despite the fact that shrinkage had never been mentioned. The conversation frequently drifted into broad generalizations about waivers and customer responsibility rather than the specific facts of what had been disclosed to me before I signed. When I explained that there is a meaningful difference between being warned about pilling and being warned about shrinkage, he maintained that shrinkage fell under the general umbrella of possible damage and that he could not be expected to list every potential outcome. I disagreed. When a customer specifically asks about risks, they deserve enough information to make an informed decision. I also found it unreasonable that I was told I could receive either a $50 accommodation for the shrinkage issue or have the curtains re-pressed to correct the acknowledged pressing error--but not both. These are two separate issues. One relates to the cleaning outcome, while the other relates to admitted workmanship during finishing. Perhaps most disappointing was being told that providing any additional accommodation would essentially amount to "running a charity instead of a business." After spending nearly $400 on the service and receiving curtains that no longer fit or hang properly, that comment felt dismissive and unnecessarily insulting. Had Sam simply acknowledged that shrinkage should have been discussed, shown some empathy, and worked collaboratively toward a reasonable solution, I likely would not be writing this review. Instead, I was left with damaged curtains, no meaningful resolution, and a conversation that left me feeling unheard and blamed for an outcome I specifically tried to avoid by asking questions upfront.

PRICING: Totally fair. I was pleasantly surprised to have been charged $25 for an original hem. To my understanding, it's more labor intensive compared to a standard hem. Sam helped me from the intake and even recognized me during my pickup. He's kind, polite, a real stand up guy running an honest business.

I brought some clothes in with car grease stains and they somehow to manage to get it out every time. I can speak to their honesty because I left a very irreplaceable chain in my shorts. I called them the next day and they not only looked (which I feel is above and beyond) but found it right away!! It's a sentimental necklace of 20 years. So thankful.
