They are very quick to respond to your inquiries through Yelp! There was a small miscommunication between what I was quoted on for a 3 piece suit and what was rung up on their Point-of-Sale terminal. The owner honored the quoted price. UNFORTUNATELY, a week after actually unzipping the suit out from the garment bag, The buttons from my custom suit were chipped. I have not addressed this issue with the owner, but at this point, I'm not sure there is anything they can or will do. It would have been a different issue if I looked at it and scanned the suit before leaving the dry cleaner. read more

Called before coming into location to get jeans altered. The vibe on the phone conversation was kinda weird but he quickly changed his tone. We arrive and my sister goes in to get a consultation about her jeans she wanted altered to be taken in but he already assumed that she wanted them to be made shorter not taken in and then gave a whirlwind of excuses and it just seemed like he didn't want to it. Nick and his seamstress worked with me and came up with several options and were able to give me exactly what was needed for the gown. I submitted a request on Yelp for tailoring services to repair a seam that had come undone on a polyester fanny pack bag. The communication was quick and straightforward which I appreciated. However, after picking up the bag when it was ready, I noticed how much of a horrible job they did. While they solved the issue of the seam coming undone, the interior where the seam binding was, was stitched horribly and looked really close to the edges. The seamstress did not know how to sew the fabric I brought in since the stitches were so tiny and close together. The bag was also lopsided since they only reinforced one side of the bag. I took it back in to ask them to redo it but they just told me that if it comes undone, they would fix it for free. It would have been nice to have the bag fixed on the first time around where I paid $30, instead I just fixed it at home myself. Don't get your bags tailored here, you are better off saving your time and money and doing it on your own. read more

I've going to rainbow cleaners for years now. Customer service and consistency of product has always remained at the gold standard. I get my work clothes dry cleaned there every week and theyre always spotless and perfectly pressed. Ive had alterations done there, larger down conforters cleaned, specialty items, shie fixes etc. they do it all. Now I'm really convinced this guy is not legit. Edit to my edit: Interesting to see how this owner has completely changed his tune and edited his attack on my review. He first accused me of being some insane disgruntled customer. Now he wants to fix it? First of all, you destroyed my suit beyond repair. Second of all, maybe spend less time in the comments and more time focusing on delivering good service. I was really shocked and saddened to see the owner take this path. FIRST AND LAST: I have read several reviews for this establishment some positive and some very negative. I fall into the latter with an extreme disgusting and humiliating experience yesterday (5/31/25). Iniitally, on May 22, I had dropped off my 2 pc suit with couple of light stains on sleeves and in the chest area of the jacket. I had pointed out to the guy and he acknowledged and assured me it will be taken care of. Charged me $25.00. I received a text message next day advising it was ready for pick up. Upon checking at the site, stains were still there and was advised of discoloration if its re-done. Took it home and tried to wipe it myself only to find it comes off. Took it back on May 28 and was told it will be re-done now it will take 3-4 days. Saturday May 31...Incidentally, this is where the 'Drama' begins. I returned to pick up my suite only to be told it's "not in". Obviously I was very disappointed and upset because I was going to wear it for an evening event. Apparently, I put my phone rather hard (unintentionally)on the counter and the guy became very abusive and hostile making comments like I had an attitude. All I said was that they've had it for 4 days plus a week prior. This Man with a major attitude said he'll call the Police. I said go ahead. Never did. Then challenged me to attack him and he'll slam me like a can. He even came out from behind the counter in the lobby and said to go outside to the parking lot and he'll show me what he can do. At this point , I remained quiet and asked him when can I pick up my suite. His response was that he'll call me. Never called. I had to call and go pick it up. It's very sad when a human being (behavior indicated an animal) behaves in a similar fashion and apparently it exposes his true self. I don't wish anything good to this man who virtually humiliated and insulted me. I have never ever encountered a person with such unprofessional and unethical behavior. By the way, he used the "F..." word several times and repeatedly kept saying "Get out". Folks, this is the 'Other Side' of this man's character and behavior. No exaggeration but the truth. Sorry about the lengthy tale of this incident which messed up my day. BE CAREFUL! read more

I brought my dirty suit and dress shirt that had stains baked in for months. I completely forgot about cleaning my suit and thought it was going to be impossible to clean. I took my it to Sam and he said he would try his best. Surprisingly he not only got rid of all the stains and also cleaned my sweat stained hat. I requested a four items to be dry cleaned. The person said he'd need about 4 days, got it done in 1! Great service!

Total rip-off. Charged me $85 because he said my clothes smelled of mold. I paid the fee. When he told me this a second time, I decided to not pay for the services and took the clothes elsewhere. Another local cleaner told me that Rainbow Cleaners is a sham and he says that routinely to triple his fees without doing any extra work. I do not recommend. read more

I have no idea how to sew, but it's important to me to keep using and reusing clothes for as long as possible, so I often come to Rainbow Cleaners for mending and they do an incredible job. Recently I was in a hurry to cut off a price tag from my son's new shirt and accidentally snipped a hole in the sleeve. I came to Rainbow thinking they could maybe stitch it back together, but they came up with a much better idea -- instead transferring the sewn logo from the lower back hem of the shirt to the sleeve (see pics showing repaired light gray shirt vs. how the logo normally appears from this brand)! You'd never even know it was repaired, and I didn't have to tell grandma I accidentally cut the shirt she gave him. Very happy! read more
