Decent prices for the services offered. With the close proximity to me I've become a return customer.

This dry cleaner absolutely ruined our family's sweaters and refused to take ownership. They had one job to do and dropped the ball. These very expensive sweaters were returned to us shrunk with the colors faded. We approached the owner to share our concerns and were immediately met with defensiveness and without any willingness to even listen. Instead of acknowledging the clear damage to the sweaters they denied responsibility. I like to support our local businesses but really felt disrespected and attacked in this process. read more

I found Rainbow via Yelp - initially for dry cleaning and also for hemming / tailoring work. It's super easy to drop off your items here. They have their own parking lot with free parking. Be careful not to park in their lot if you're not actually visiting the business (or the spa next door), as they have signs all over the place that clearly state that they tow vehicles. Dry cleaning only takes a few days, and hemming took less than a week. I didn't have any firm deadlines, so time wasn't of the essence, but let them know if you do and they can work with you. Keep in mind that hemming and tailoring will require you to change into the clothing on-site so that the tailor can pin the adjustments. There is a restroom in the very back for privacy - a bit tucked away and generally not for public use, but it does the trick. If you're trying to adjust pants or a dress, be sure to bring the shoes that you'll be wearing so that you have a solid idea of how the item will look once adjusted. Prices are a bit on the higher end compared to other small tailor and dry cleaning businesses that I've been to around LA. Tap to pay is your best bet for speed and convenience. The gentleman who owns and operates the shop is personable, efficient and polite. He has a huge fish tank and quite a lot of fun decor. read more

They are very quick to respond to your inquiries through Yelp! There was a small miscommunication between what I was quoted on for a 3 piece suit and what was rung up on their Point-of-Sale terminal. The owner honored the quoted price. UNFORTUNATELY, a week after actually unzipping the suit out from the garment bag, The buttons from my custom suit were chipped. I have not addressed this issue with the owner, but at this point, I'm not sure there is anything they can or will do. It would have been a different issue if I looked at it and scanned the suit before leaving the dry cleaner. read more

Over the past year, I've been going to rainbow cleaners for all of my alterations, and they have been amazing every single time. The quality of their work is exceptional, and everything always fits perfectly. They're professional, reliable, and pay great attention to detail. I completely trust them with my clothes, and I highly recommend rainbow cleaners to anyone looking for high-quality alterations or cleaning! read more

Been coming here for years many times primarily for alterations, tailoring and mending: pants, suits...

This reply further proves my point. Instead of taking accountability, the owner has chosen to respond with defensiveness and personal attacks, which reflects poorly on how customers are treated. The video also shows the threats directed toward me, as well as the significant damage done to several of my sweaters. I've included photos of one of the many sweaters that are now unwearable. read more

Good quality prompt service. Conveniently located. Very nice people. Thank you for the great experience. We will be back!

I had a suit jacket, slacks and a dress shirt dry cleaned, it was a little under $50. They look spotless and they fit like I just bought them! The guy who helped me out was friendly, to the point, SUPER helpful, especially as this was my first time taking my own garments to get dry cleaned. read more

Called before coming into location to get jeans altered. The vibe on the phone conversation was kinda weird but he quickly changed his tone. We arrive and my sister goes in to get a consultation about her jeans she wanted altered to be taken in but he already assumed that she wanted them to be made shorter not taken in and then gave a whirlwind of excuses and it just seemed like he didn't want to it. Point is, just get your clothes dry cleaned and don't bother with alterations because he didn't wanna even bother with what she wanted him to do read more

I have had nothing but good experiences at rainbow cleaners. They are fast, reliable and amazingly friendly. Five stars!

I cannot recommend Nick and Rainbow Cleaners enough! I brought in the impossible...and I mean it. I was told by 4 other seamstresses that they would not touch my gown. Nick and his seamstress worked with me and came up with several options and were able to give me exactly what was needed for the gown. This is a business that will work with you and build trust with their clients, rather than just taking money and doing a job that may or may not come out how you want. They now have a permanent customer! read more

I submitted a request on Yelp for tailoring services to repair a seam that had come undone on a polyester fanny pack bag. The communication was quick and straightforward which I appreciated. However, after picking up the bag when it was ready, I noticed how much of a horrible job they did. While they solved the issue of the seam coming undone, the interior where the seam binding was, was stitched horribly and looked really close to the edges. The seamstress did not know how to sew the fabric I brought in since the stitches were so tiny and close together. The bag was also lopsided since they only reinforced one side of the bag. I took it back in to ask them to redo it but they just told me that if it comes undone, they would fix it for free. It would have been nice to have the bag fixed on the first time around where I paid $30, instead I just fixed it at home myself. Don't get your bags tailored here, you are better off saving your time and money and doing it on your own. read more

Take your clothes to better places. The staff is rude and the quality of thier cleaning is even worse. See destroyed suit. Edit: don't know who Brittany is. these are actual photos. Now I'm really convinced this guy is not legit. Edit to my edit: Interesting to see how this owner has completely changed his tune and edited his attack on my review. He first accused me of being some insane disgruntled customer. Now he wants to fix it? First of all, you destroyed my suit beyond repair. Second of all, maybe spend less time in the comments and more time focusing on delivering good service. I was really shocked and saddened to see the owner take this path. This solidifies my feeling that you are more likely to find higher quality dry cleaning and more polite employees at other local buisiness. Don't risk it. read more

FIRST AND LAST: I have read several reviews for this establishment some positive and some very negative. I fall into the latter with an extreme disgusting and humiliating experience yesterday (5/31/25). Iniitally, on May 22, I had dropped off my 2 pc suit with couple of light stains on sleeves and in the chest area of the jacket. I had pointed out to the guy and he acknowledged and assured me it will be taken care of. Charged me $25.00. I received a text message next day advising it was ready for pick up. Upon checking at the site, stains were still there and was advised of discoloration if its re-done. Took it home and tried to wipe it myself only to find it comes off. Took it back on May 28 and was told it will be re-done now it will take 3-4 days. Saturday May 31...Incidentally, this is where the 'Drama' begins. I returned to pick up my suite only to be told it's "not in". Obviously I was very disappointed and upset because I was going to wear it for an evening event. Apparently, I put my phone rather hard (unintentionally)on the counter and the guy became very abusive and hostile making comments like I had an attitude. All I said was that they've had it for 4 days plus a week prior. This Man with a major attitude said he'll call the Police. I said go ahead. Never did. Then challenged me to attack him and he'll slam me like a can. He even came out from behind the counter in the lobby and said to go outside to the parking lot and he'll show me what he can do. At this point , I remained quiet and asked him when can I pick up my suite. His response was that he'll call me. Never called. I had to call and go pick it up. It's very sad when a human being (behavior indicated an animal) behaves in a similar fashion and apparently it exposes his true self. I don't wish anything good to this man who virtually humiliated and insulted me. I have never ever encountered a person with such unprofessional and unethical behavior. By the way, he used the "F..." word several times and repeatedly kept saying "Get out". Folks, this is the 'Other Side' of this man's character and behavior. No exaggeration but the truth. Sorry about the lengthy tale of this incident which messed up my day. BE CAREFUL! read more

$30+ for suit. $10 for basic shirt. There are better prices out there in the South Bay.

I have no idea how to sew, but it's important to me to keep using and reusing clothes for as long as possible, so I often come to Rainbow Cleaners for mending and they do an incredible job. Recently I was in a hurry to cut off a price tag from my son's new shirt and accidentally snipped a hole in the sleeve. I came to Rainbow thinking they could maybe stitch it back together, but they came up with a much better idea -- instead transferring the sewn logo from the lower back hem of the shirt to the sleeve (see pics showing repaired light gray shirt vs. how the logo normally appears from this brand)! You'd never even know it was repaired, and I didn't have to tell grandma I accidentally cut the shirt she gave him. Very happy! read more
