I have been using Marcos business for at least eight years. Never have I ever had to have anything redone. The reason I'm writing this is because a friend needed an alteration. She asked me the name of the person who does my alterations. I told her I have no idea. I bring my clothes into the cleaners to be altered, tell them what I need and a couple days later it's done. My wedding dress has been hanging in its garment bag for almost 3 years now. I asked my former dress tailor (who is super talented) for her recommendation on where to go to get it cleaned. She highly recommended Marko, the owner of Spring Cleaners in El Segundo. I gave him a call and the voicemail said to send a text. Anyway, I got in touch and met him w/my dress 2 weeks ago. He's super nice and said it would take a couple of weeks. When the dress was ready, he texted me a photo of the finished work and I was wowed! Marko did an outstanding and beautiful job with my wedding dress, veil, and blingy belt. It is all cleaned and boxed nicely in a Bridal Keepsafe box. Parked is either a couple of spaces in the front or street parking. The ladies at the counter are nice although there was one that tried to charge me again but, realized I had already prepaid. This was my first, and definitely my last, visit to this dry cleaner. I work for a nearby police agency and came in to pick up my uniform on the morning of 04/09/25 around 9:00 AM. When I walked in, music was blasting (not a major issue, just painting the scene), and I presented my receipt. The young lady working barely acknowledged me. She went to retrieve my uniform and told me the total, but due to the loud music, I couldn't hear her clearly. I politely asked her to repeat it, and she responded with an exaggerated, condescending tone "FIVE DOLLARS!" as if I had inconvenienced her by asking. I told her I couldn't hear because of the volume in the shop, and she rolled her eyes in response. While the price was more than fair, the attitude was unnecessary and left a bad impression. Customer service matters, and unfortunately, this experience missed the mark. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Do better, young lady. read more

I used to visit this location because it was cost effective in comparison with places in Marina Del Rey. Recently I brought shirts for laundry and they charged me the dry cleaning price without communicating that as I specifically asked for laundry. When I asked what I should communicate so that instructions are followed or that clarity is provided before about the charges there was not a good answer that they could provide. Must be their whole family leaving positive reviews. Three straight times I have gone to this place because of its proximity to my house. Three straight times they have messed up the order. This time was the final straw. Took in 5 pieces of clothing on a Tuesday asked for it to be done on Friday. Show up on a Saturday and they say "oh two of your pieces aren't done yet" and give me these three pieces pictured. Not only were the two others not done on time (or a day later) the three they gave me, all were not cleaned at all and had big stained still on them. These pictures are directly after pickup. You tell me if they cleaned these pieces of clothing... No dirt or stains removed...on top of that, they will give you attitude if you question them. Zero stars all around. A straight comedy show. Dry cleaners are a dime a dozen in SoCal- just on one city block, so I could go just about anywhere, and in any direction, but I don't. That's how much I love Spring Cleaners. I drive 15 miles out of my way just to use their service. I don't do a ton of dry cleaning, but I do have some expensive wardrobe pieces and I don't trust anyone else to clean them. So many dry cleaners I've gone to change prices on the same items I bring in and seem to do crappy press jobs, or my items aren't even ready when they should be, so why would I trust them to clean and press expensive items? Spring Cleaners is so opposite than most. They are consistent in pricing, nice, and items are promised on the ready dates. I have never had any issues and they dry clean in the building, rather than send out to another company as so many do. They do tons of dry cleaning for public service workers, suits, and everyday folk. They are always super busy and deliver as promised. I came here because it's close to where I work and who doesn't like convenience? I just checked my items and they don't seem clean. It honestly looks like they just ironed my items. I could have done that. I took 3 ties and a jacket. Dry cleaning is suppose to clean the surface of materials.. right? But for some reason my ties have the surface spots I originally brought them here to be removed. Should I have asked for spot cleaning? My review is based on my overall experience. Summary: Great for general cleaning of garments. Have gotten quite bad at doing repairs, and thus have lost our business going forward (plus their new location is less convenient). My wife and I have been going to Spring Cleaners since before they moved to their current location on Mariposa. They have always been friendly, provide reasonable rates, and usually complete cleaning on time. More recently, my wife has been bringing in more clothes with torn seems in need of repair and coming home only to realize that either 1) the clothes aren't repaired, or 2) the clothes have been "repaired" in a different spot (so not repaired) but in a visible way that renders the garment "ruined". Due to their location being less convenient on the way to the freeway and their inconsistency with repairs, we are now shopping around for other options. read more

Great fluff and fold service! They had 3 huge loads done in 24 hours and everything was clean, folded and fresh! They were so good (and reasonable cost) that I used then again the following week while staying at an air bnb rather than trying to use the old washing machine and dryer in the apartment. Too many times I have had clothes not done to my asking after being charged more. This time I had called and mentioned that it was incomplete "sure bring it in well correct on the spot" only to get there and be told they can't do it and I'll have to pick it up tomorrow. I don't get it because it started so well but laziness, complacency with lack of customer service coupled with inflated prices make this a hard pass moving forward. Honestly if they'd of fixed it on the spot since I had already paid for cleaning of a brand new shirt when all I asked for was it to be pressed I could've continued because it's close to work, but again lack of consistency and poor attitude and over inflated prices I've had enough. Great customer service and accommodating staff. I came here with a last minute request and they were able to complete my dry cleaning overnight. The next morning I picked everything up and made it to the airport by 9. There was a slight error in communication so the process took longer than usual and I had to press on them a bit to stick with what they claimed would be possible. I think having two separate locations that are closely linked can amplify any disconnect and inconsistency in what is communicated to the customer. Nonetheless, they got the job done and within the allotted time. I'm very satisfied with the quality of work and the more than reasonable pricing. This place has made its way in my " F this place list". I've been bringing my uniforms and other pieces here for years as I work across the street at LAX. They've always done a fine job for a decent price. But they have recently adopted a $1 fee to use a credit or debit card regardless of how much you pay. Now, I'm ok with a few cents for a lower amount to cover their costs. But I know for a fact the credit card companies do not charge that amount for credit or debit transactions. They are trying to increase their bottom line by passing on pointless fees. I'll find another place around, cheap asses! Update. I find it funny that the owner thinks that the problem is the $1. It's the reason for the $1 and the unnecessary need for it. I moved to El Segundo about 5 months ago. I've been using these cleaners since I moved here. They have consistently dry cleaned and pressed my work shirts. I even took a kitchen item (in bad shape) once and they took care of it. More recently (and during the corona virus pandemic) I was blown away that they delivered my dry cleaning to my door stop at no cost. The least we can do as customers is tip their drivers. High quality cleaning at a reasonable price with a reasonable turnaround time. Limited hours during corona virus season but they will work with you. Keep up the excellent customer service! read more
