I really wanted to like this laundromat because I try to support local businesses, but unfortunately, it was just too expensive for me. I spent $11.50 for the large washer and $8.50 for a small one. Then I paid $10 total to dry my clothes, but they still weren't dry afterward. When I asked the employee about it, she told me I'd need to add $4 more to each dryer. That would have made it $26 just to dry my clothes , not including the washing!!! At that point, I decided to go somewhere else that was a bit more affordable. I didn't want to leave a bad review because I know pricing isn't always up to the staff, but when I tried to find the employee to share my feedback, she was nowhere to be found. It's a clean and nice laundromat, and I can see why others might like it, but for me, it just wasn't worth the high cost. Sadly, this will probably be my first and last visit.

Super super clean! I've seen my fair share of laundromats and they all have that laundromat smell, with mold in the soap trays and lint flying around. This is by far the cleanest one I have ever been to! You definitely pay for the quality- the washers are $6.50 each cycle for the cheapest ones ($10 for large loads). The dryers are 50 cents every 6 minutes, but only take about 30 minutes to dry. Overall, you're gonna be paying about $20 to do 2 loads. I know they do wash service but every time I've been there has been no attendant. I was there last night at about 5 pm, which are within their washing service hours, and saw 4 customers come in with bags of clothes, look around, then leave after not seeing an employee. They're losing business!! They have a lot of nice soaps and stuff for sale too. Just wish they had dryer sheets for the price they're charging. Overall super clean and awesome but definitely expensive and understaffed!

Hands down the best laundromat in the South Bay. Everything is clean and runs smoothly. There's free dryer sheets and the owner Tim is a wildly kind and generous individual. Come on down and get your laundry clean!!!

Amazing First Experience at Coast Laundry!…read more Laundry day has always been one of my least favorite chores, but Coast Laundry completely changed that. After my first visit today, I can honestly say this was the best laundromat experience I've ever had. A close friend had been recommending Coast Laundry to me for years, but I always chose laundromats closer to Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach. From the outside, Coast looks smaller than it actually is, so I never bothered to go inside. I definitely misjudged it because once I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. The facility is spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out. There are plenty of washers and dryers, so it never feels crowded, and there's lots of room to move around comfortably. I even noticed massage chairs, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. The machines are excellent. The washers cleaned my clothes efficiently, and the water was actually hot--not just lukewarm like at many other laundromats. The prices are very reasonable, and the dryers worked incredibly well. They got hot quickly and dried my clothes thoroughly without needing multiple cycles. The amenities were another nice touch. There are vending machines with snacks and drinks, televisions throughout the facility, and the entire laundromat has a clean, relaxing atmosphere that made doing laundry much more enjoyable. What truly made this experience stand out, however, was the exceptional customer service from Zaira. Since it was my first visit, I wasn't familiar with the card system or the machines, and I probably asked her for help at least ten times. Every single time, she stopped what she was doing with a smile and patiently walked me through everything. She never once made me feel like I was inconveniencing her or asking too many questions. Her kindness, patience, and professionalism made all the difference. A clean facility and quality machines are important, but outstanding customer service is what earns loyal customers. Zaira represents Coast Laundry exceptionally well, and because of her, I won't be going anywhere else for my laundry needs. Thank you, Zaira, for making my first visit such a wonderful experience. Thanks to you and the excellent facility, I may actually start looking forward to laundry day. Coast Laundry has definitely earned a lifelong customer! Highly recommended!

You may want to wait in your car as there's little to no seating inside and out. During the day there's a MX restaurant, a liquor store and a coffee shop to fraternize. 2. Safety: I've seen a few comments about sketchiness of this business and assume they mean the clientele or people therein and around. I was here on Sunday afternoon and evening. There are definitely some folks that appear to live a certain lifestyle, but none that made me feel threatened per se. One guy was super odd, but I just avoid him. El Segundo, as a community has been both sketch and Mayberry-esq for sometime. Lots of tattoos and biker types mixed with young couples and young families and retirees. You get the gamet. Now the properties are $1.5 for a 700sqft 2/1 old home with zero beach view or access and rather 2 miles from the beach. Rent isn't cheap either. That's not a sketchy type environment. The cars are not cheap cars, and the people simply look like everyday humans simply doing their laundry. I wouldn't come here late or during their 24 hr night stretch simply because I wouldn't go anywhere late like that doing laundry. Less people, somewhat remote location breeds room for shadiness. That said, ESPD does not play and will be there in seconds. 3. Costs: quarters only. No cards, no apps, no Apple Pay, nada. So bring quarters. The machine does provide change for $1-20 bills but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't give you the right change. Also it was $5.75 to wash one 5ft long gravity chair cushion. That's a lot yes, but it's a lot more to buy a new one. Count your blessings and move on. You can wash in a smaller washer for $3.75. Drying was $.25 every 8 minutes and it took 24 mins to dry each cushion separately in a dryer. Some machines do eat your quarters with no way to get refunded. Just bang it and maybe you'll get your change back, it worked for me. But yes some machines eat do your money. They should fix that but why would they? No law that says you can't cheat customers out of their quarters! Be wise. 4. Parking: huge lot, plenty of free parking and well lit at night. 5. Folding clothes: there's two areas to do this. Often taken. Not a lot of room there either. 6. No sink to hand wash stuff and no restrooms. The MX spot may have one but I'm sure they want you to contribute something. 7. Cleanliness: seemed fine. Maybe they just cleaned. I saw no concerns except the outside trash can was overflowing. All in all, my W/D at home isn't big enough to wash these so I was thankful as this place served its purpose. I watched people come here with 5-6 loads on average, so I assume it gets crowded often. The place is narrow so moving carts around isn't happening. I'd come here again simply to wash these oversized outdoor items. But that's it.

Be careful not to park in their lot if you're not actually visiting the business (or the spa next door), as they have signs all over the place that clearly state that they tow vehicles. Dry cleaning only takes a few days, and hemming took less than a week. I didn't have any firm deadlines, so time wasn't of the essence, but let them know if you do and they can work with you. Keep in mind that hemming and tailoring will require you to change into the clothing on-site so that the tailor can pin the adjustments. There is a restroom in the very back for privacy - a bit tucked away and generally not for public use, but it does the trick. If you're trying to adjust pants or a dress, be sure to bring the shoes that you'll be wearing so that you have a solid idea of how the item will look once adjusted. Prices are a bit on the higher end compared to other small tailor and dry cleaning businesses that I've been to around LA. Tap to pay is your best bet for speed and convenience.
