First - it's in the plaza on Manchester & Falmouth. Easy parking. Free too. I pulled up right in front. Few others did the same. Made loading and unloading a breeze. All front loading washing machines. Different sizes. Coin or card accepted. I had my own detergent. I mention this because I didn't look if any was offered via vending machine or the attendant. On that note, this location offers DIY or a Wash & Fold service. I don't know the prices for the latter. Call or stop by and ask. Washers and dryers work as expected. No issues with payment - used both card and coins. Ample counter space to sort and fold laundry when done. Not that it makes a difference to me but I'll share the following: No seating. A few customers just sat in their cars. Not sure if there's a restroom. Wasn't needed. Wasn't busy - no waiting for machines. My new washer should be delivered later this week but if not, I'd definitely come back here. I like being able to wash and dry multiple loads simultaneously. Opened up my day to be able to go and get other "adulting" done. read more

Love this place! Their machines take credit cards!!! So convenient. I drive a few miles just to do my laundry here. Clean, sanitary, efficient place with decent machines. Size, just right. Never overcrowded or completely empty. Staff is friendly and nice. read more

Always extra large machines ready, especially if you go at off peak hours/days. They are always clean and I've never had a problem making sure my clothes, blankets and sheets are always washed perfectly. The machines have both coin & cards as well as a change machine. The dryers can be hit and miss with which one dries thoroughly but it's overall a good, clean and reliable place to wash your clothes etc. read more

Looking for a laundry mat that I would feel safe in and I wouldn't feel that my clothes would get dirty inside the facility! Very clean, neat and helpful. I was unsure of the card operations on the washer and the attendant helped me. They also were able to answer my questions about timing. Twenty five minutes for wash. To dry one swipe of your card is 6 minutes you have to swipe for more time. The attendant was able to tell me that 25 minutes should dry a load of clothes! One thing to note is that there isn't any place to sit and wait for the laundry to get done. I noticed one gentleman standing and propped his ipad on a washer while he waited. Every day here is a good day to get a laundry "load" off my mind! Incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Exceptional service that I utilize at least a couple times a week. Absolutely god "scent" that I found this place. Their fluff and fold ordeal has made me a brand new and clean woman! We also send all our yacht towels and linens here, and they handle them with care. Not really a whole lot to say about this place. I've only used it when one of my appliances at home has bit the dust. In this case the washing machine. Anyhow, I will say that Laundry Locals is a clean and ample place to get your laundry done. There's always plenty of washers and dryers available and there's a staff member on site. Masks are required while inside. Parking can be a bit tight as it's located in a bustling strip mall. So if you have lots to wash, you'll have a few choices of breakfast, lunch or dinner to get at while you handle your business. Or just chill in your car. Being that we are still in a pandemic I do not plan on stepping foot in a laundry mat for too long and they make sure I don't have to and at a reasonable price. This place is outdated and expensive. Half of the "useful" ($6.50) washing machines are used by the Fluff and Fold Service and a quarter of them are busted. There's no where comfortable to sit so you just have to hang out in your car to wait for the cycles to be done. Machine costs: The smallest machine ($4.50) takes half a load $6.50 takes a bit over a load. The largest machine is $8 and holds 3 loads. To dry your clothes is $0.25/6 minutes. There was a problem with our machine but the attendant couldn't understand us and had no way of assisting us. We got out of here doing 5 loads for about $30 Skipping this location for good. read more

This laundry is convenient to my house. It's kept clean and accepts debit cards. My problem is that one of the employees emptied my personal garments into a basket because they couldn't wait 10 minutes for me to return. There were at least 6 available smaller load machine options . I have never touched anyone's personal items when I have be waiting for an open larger load machines especially with it still being a COVID pandemic. I asked to speak with manager 2x but got nothing. A simple apology would have been enough. I might have wanted to run the wash a 2nd time for my area rugs! Just plain disrespectful and a violation. Not using them again if I can help it! read more

My husband and I used to do our laundry in our community but our HOA closed one of our laundry rooms so we started going there. I can see the difference between our community's washing machines and this place. Of course this place has better machines. This place is clean and have around 30 washing machines from small to x-large size. I have never counted the dryers. I know their last call is 8:30 pm. We got there at 8:39 pm last night and couldn't get in. Good things about this place: 1- Prices are reasonable compared to quality. 2- You can buy laundry detergent and softener, should take your coins with you. 3- It's usually clean. It has a sink, hand soap and paper towel to wash and dryer your hand. Issues: 1- This place can get super busy. Plus, the person who works there is always doing someone else's laundry. So you might go there and don't find any available machines. 2- There have been times that more than 5 dryers were out of service. Again, it is possible you go there and have some sort of difficulties with dryers. 3- Since the employee of this place uses machines there are usually some bags by the entrance (It doesn't look good). read more

Located on the north side of Manchester Blvd in a busy strip mall, this laundromat has been renovated with all NEW washers. The place is very clean and has free wi-fi which works well. I use the double load washers, which are more efficient than my washer at home. My clothes come out cleaner because they are front loaders and also faster. Th washers and dryers take quarters or credit cards/debit cards. The credit card swipers are problematic and give me problems but the staff are helpful. The staff are here from open to close as they have a fluff and fold business to tend to. I have not tried their service; it is charged by the pound. There are ample folding space counters in the center island. The laundry carts are new. This place is clean and not too hot, thanks to an air conditioner in the back of the storefront. There are chairs out front to sit and play with your phone or tablet while you wait. Next door is a junior market and down the strip is The Good Pizza with excellent slices, a Subway sandwich shop, and a Yum Yum Donut. read more

What happened to laundry locals??? Most of the dryers are out of order and waiting for people to return to grab their laundry when it's been done for 30 mins is selfish. The place smells so bad from dirty laundry and the floors are gross and I had to leave with wet laundry ,oh and the washer was full of softener that didn't poor into the washer. Very unfriendly if you don't match a certain look they will watch you like a hawk I come here at least once a month when my main laundry at my building doesn't work and I usually have about 3 tubs of laundry so i like to walk in and make sure there are machines open/working. As I walked in I was immediately stared down by one of the workers And when I asked for change she kept asking me if I'm doing laundry here when I insisted I am. They she demanded to get my laundry out my car or she will not give me change. Like I said a very unfriendly interaction and the setting there just really isn't peaceful when folding clothes it feels like they are rushing you. Also when paying with credit card they take an additional amount on top of the machine total to "make sure you have enough" the machines are very expensive 8$ for a big machine I would say go down the street their machines are a lot nicer and the staff are way friendlier read more

I have a laundry machine at home, but visit laundromats to wash large items like blankets. I've been to quite a few laundromats in my life, but I'm writing this review because this is the first laundromat I've been to where the owner actually spent the time to think about the customer experience. I'm a bit of a neat freak and this place is clean. There's a single sign to read with all of the warnings/rules. They have clean baskets, and dirty baskets. They have a short clean basket, and a short dirty basket so that you can wheel your dirty items in from your car and wheel them back out when they're clean. The rest are mostly the taller clean baskets so you can take your items from the washing machine to the dryer. It has a/c. There's wifi that works without you having to futz with it. And there's just enough uncomfortable seating so you can sit but it keeps loiterers away. Downsides, it's expensive but that probably keeps it nice. I also couldn't get the card reader to work, so I just used cash to get change. read more

The staff was very friendly but I arrived at 8:57 PM on a Monday when it shows on Yelp and Google that they close at 10 PM. I had one load to do and they would not let me start because they said they shut down the washing machines at 8:30 PM. This is really frustrating when you drive to a new place to try them out so I strongly suggest that you update your terms on yelp about the last load going in at 8:30 PM. Thank you. read more

Dismissive (and ALWAYS rude) manager when I asked for a refund for the overpayment on a huge load. Located in the mini mall with Good Pizza, Yum Yum Donuts and Subway. I had two comforters cleaned for $25 each. I was able to pick up same day. They smelled fabulous and were nice and clean. I live right across the street and to be honest sometimes you just don't feel like doing laundry and you want someone else to handle it becuase you know what...you got lazy and let it pile up until all you had left is the clothes you wore yesterday. I love the wash and fold service at this laundromat they are literally open every day. I popped in on a sunday morning and dropped my stuff off. Come Monday my items are ready and let me explain...I've done done wash and fold once or twice in the past and they clean it, fold it, and stack them in a clear plastic bag. But this location separate my clothes; folded items, hung and ironed items, and separate bag for small items. Loved it!! Best service ever. read more

This is a great, clean, well lit laundry with newer Speed Queen equipment. Fluff and fold is $1.50 for next day service and $1.75 for same day service per pound. When I went on a Saturday it was fully attended. Dry is $.25 for 8 min for the 30 pound stacks, the 45 pound stacks are $0.25 for 5 minutes. The 40 pound washers $5.50-$6.00 a cycle, the 20 pound washers are $3.50-$4.00 per load. The 60's are $7.00 a load. Store is roughly 1400 sq ft with soap machine and dual bill changer for cash. The machines feature coin and ESD credit card system for credit card processing. Highly recommend. read more

I'm eager to post an exceptional review for this establishment. A+++! Why, bc of Norma, one of the nicest, most accommodating attendants EVER. She happens to be incredibly 'attentive' and extremely helpful. She'so hospitable. She always meets and greets the customers, even now with Covid and mask coverings, you can see the smile in her eyes. I'm on the shorter side and simply can't easily reach the top of the washing machines to put in my detergent, etc. Norma always graciously offers to assist me. I have access to a laundry room in my own condo complex but choose to come here because of the 'out of this world service'. The facility is about as clean as you can get it, unbelievably pristine. I've observed Norma wipe down every nook n cranny of the machines, sweep & mop the floors with pride. This is no EZ task yet this young woman demonstrates the greatest of pride in her work. If you need your laundry done for you, again this gal works hard at taking great care with your clothes. They are folded and bagged w precision. Items requiring a hangar or two are hung efficiently and carefully identified with your packaged items. She, too, is a great asset being a bi-lingual representative of Laundry Locals.
