Amazing First Experience at Coast Laundry! Laundry day has always been one of my least favorite chores, but Coast Laundry completely changed that. After my first visit today, I can honestly say this was the best laundromat experience I've ever had. A close friend had been recommending Coast Laundry to me for years, but I always chose laundromats closer to Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach. From the outside, Coast looks smaller than it actually is, so I never bothered to go inside. I definitely misjudged it because once I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. The facility is spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out. There are plenty of washers and dryers, so it never feels crowded, and there's lots of room to move around comfortably. I even noticed massage chairs, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. The machines are excellent. The washers cleaned my clothes efficiently, and the water was actually hot--not just lukewarm like at many other laundromats. The prices are very reasonable, and the dryers worked incredibly well. They got hot quickly and dried my clothes thoroughly without needing multiple cycles. The amenities were another nice touch. There are vending machines with snacks and drinks, televisions throughout the facility, and the entire laundromat has a clean, relaxing atmosphere that made doing laundry much more enjoyable. What truly made this experience stand out, however, was the exceptional customer service from Zaira. Since it was my first visit, I wasn't familiar with the card system or the machines, and I probably asked her for help at least ten times. Every single time, she stopped what she was doing with a smile and patiently walked me through everything. She never once made me feel like I was inconveniencing her or asking too many questions. Her kindness, patience, and professionalism made all the difference. A clean facility and quality machines are important, but outstanding customer service is what earns loyal customers. Zaira represents Coast Laundry exceptionally well, and because of her, I won't be going anywhere else for my laundry needs. Thank you, Zaira, for making my first visit such a wonderful experience. Thanks to you and the excellent facility, I may actually start looking forward to laundry day. Coast Laundry has definitely earned a lifelong customer! Highly recommended! read more

The place is very clean and efficient. The attendants are constantly cleaning, very friendly and helpful with questions you may have about operating the machines and since it was my first time here I had a few questions Josefina was happy to answer. They have regular sized and up to 100 pound washers! There is an ATM and the machines take credit and debit cards. The vending machines are well stocked with snacks, drinks and laundry supplies. They also have 4 massage chairs! Plenty of folding tables and a table to sit and enjoy your snacks. Open 24 hours and will even do your laundry for $1.99 per lb if you need. There is a Starbucks and Coast Gym and soon also a Chipotle. I definitely recommend this place for all your laundry needs. read more

I've been going later on at night during the week. Noticed it's cleaner and the vibes are better. Sometimes there are transients that come in asking for change or charge their gadgets but the attendant will ask them to leave if they aren't washing clothes. The night attendant is also aware of what is going on and talks to people. I've seen him interacting with customers and they ask for help. The wifi is great and they have good tv channels on while you do ya laundry. read more

I first noticed tis laundromat when I came to work out at the gym next door. Considering that most businesses that were previously 24-hours are not longer working said hours in the post-pandemic world, it is great to know that both Coast Laundy and Coast Gym are open 24 hours. Now that I'm farther along in my career, life gets busy fast, and my schedule is all over the place. Hence, I've come here to use their full-service laundry service. The minimum is $40, which is about 17 pounds (if I remember correctly). There is express service available, and turnaround time is fairly quick either way. I've brough a variety of laundry items here, from everyday casual clothing and scrubs, to winter blankets. Every time I found that my clothing had been handles with the utmost care and folded neatly. This is great, as other laundry places (ahem, NYC!) were notorious for losing clothing, or discoloring my clothing to the point that I had to toss it. But not this place. This place rocks! I haven't used their serf-service washers and dryers. But from what I gather, there are more than plenty of them for use, are modern and well kept, and they take card payment. This place is well-lit and clean as well. read more

The Baseline: For a laundry self service center there must be working washer/dryer units, large capacity machines and a safe environment staffed with helpful attendants. Facility: This is a clean establishment in a good location. The machines are unkept without many needing service. No graffiti is on the inside of the facility. Service: The attendants were helpful when I was there and friendly. The large capacity machines were great to help clean my large Ruggable rugs. They have 100lb washers and they have 75lb high heat dryers which makes for a quick, efficient laundry session. Extras: Free WiFi, lots of parking, nearby Starbucks, vending machines, staff will launder for a fee There was a guy smoking dope in the parking lot, but hey, he is repeat business getting the smell out of his clothes. Otherwise, it was a great experience (no stars off for other people's behaviors) read more

One of the best and cleanest laundry facilities that I have been to in a while. I first came to wash my comforters as they are too large to fit into my house washer and dryer. When you enter, you create an account and receive a laundry card to load money on it. This allows you to reload and check your card balance. They have a wide range of washers that has an indicated weight on it stating how much can each washer hold. Helpful hint: you do have to pay based on the type of water and type of wash you want. You pay more for hot water and heavy wash. Once you pay, the machine will inform you the cost and remaining balance. The facility was clean, organized, vending machines for last minute cleaning supplies was fully stocked as well. The restrooms on site were clean and there is plenty of seating options while you wait for your laundry to be done. They even have an onsite laundry service if you want to drop your laundry off, they clean it for you for an extra fee. I really like this location, so I will definitely recommend and return. read more

So I've been coming here even though the prices to wash are high. Primary reason is that the machines are clean and don't smell moldy like other laundry mats. However I've noticed that their team is starting to lack on keeping the floors clean. I mean who wants to wash and for their clothes to fall after wards on accident on a dirty floor. I was shocked the last two times I've been there. The floors looked horrible. Staff weren't as visible as before. If I'm willing to pay higher prices to wash in a clean setting it should be clean. Also that huge table that was placed in the middle of laundry mat horrible Mistake. People just hog the table now. Just my opinion. read more

Welp. I wanted to love this place. In all honesty, the laundry is completely straight forward. Clean, safe and working machines. I decided it was time to try their wash + fold service and it everything went completely downhill from there. On NYE, I brought in my clothes and 3 covers at 9am. By 2pm, I received a text that everything was ready. So good so far. When I went to pick up my items at 5pm, I was only given 2 out of 6 bags.. when I asked where the other items were, the night staff was confused/apologetic but asked me to come back in the morning to speak with the morning crew who I dropped my clothes off with.. completely ruining my NYE plans. ..inconvenience #1 Stayed calm and prayed about it. By the morning I received a call explaining the night crew didn't realize my items were on the shelf above and that everything else was ready to be picked up... When I went to go get those items on New Years Day, 2 out of the remaining 4 were given. Instead of my 2 covers, the ladies tried to give someone else's blanket. When I said it wasn't mine, they realized the gave my covers to someone else... inconvenience #2. They said they would call the other patron so I can get my covers back... at this point, why would I even want them? I don't know how sanitary they are/aren't. No mention of a refund, discount or anything. Just apologies. When I asked for a refund they said they can only offer me a free wash on my NEXT wash hahah. Like what?! Trust has been completely broken. Why would I ever trust you with more items again. So now I'm out of $84 and 2 covers during the coldest months of the year. read more

The dryers that used only take CREDIT OR their PREPAID CARD. They offer fluff and fold services. At $1.99 lb. (The kicker the added ("Plus Tax"). The front load washers offer an ozone process and the machines were very clean, as was the entire floor/folding tables. It's open 24 hrs. The 2 loads washer cost was reasonable, I saw 80lbs. washer & dryers. read more

Found this laundromat after going to a couple of other places that weren't clean, unkept and just gross. This place is ALWAYS clean. A lot of machines and plenty of dryers. I don't have a large enough machine at home to wash my blankets. There's plenty of parking and plenty of areas to sit and wait. I'm usually done within 1-1.5 hrs. The staff is always helping customers and making sure the folding tables are clean and the floor is dry. So far I've had only positive experiences here. Will continue to support another local business read more

most convenient place ive been to as a night shift worker. 24/7 laundry place. free wifi. good washing and good drying. great for night shift nurses like myself. been here multiple times. also clean place and large parking area. they got snacks and water. safe location. ive never been to their gym. owners did a great job providing convenience and service. read more

Clean, spacious extremely sanitary. I love the fact that you can use your credit card and you don't have to use quarters. They have ATM to get cash so many different folding tables so many different places for you to sit down. It's a Starbucks in the parking lot so it is truly the best laundromat I have ever been to. I will travel from anywhere to come here to this laundromat. read more

Coast Laundry - Large washers and super clean area - Laundromat Near Me - Hawthorne, California

I've been coming to Coast Laundry for at least 12 yrs, before the upgrade. I loved the cleanliness, the friendliness of the team who works here. All machines are clean and operating and the price was reasonable. Now, things are a bit different. Machines are sometimes working, they have a sulfur type smell coming from the washers, they aren't as clean as they should be. The floors, well...traffic I guess so keeping that clean might be hard. The owner stops by occasionally and is really a nice guy, he speaks and smiles. The price is getting a little steep now. For any other temp of water, like warm or hot you're paying almost $1.10 more for each. The dryer pricing, yeah a little steep, $1.49 for lower and $1.59 for higher dryers. It seems to increase monthly as of late. Not sure why that is..... hmmmm read more

Love how big this place is and the selection of washer sizes and dryers are plentiful. I actually like doing my laundry here because it's relaxing and you can do all your laundry in about an hour and half. Lots of folding stations, snack machines, and it's next to a Starbucks. The only thing I would say it's a bit pricey but they do have great washers and it's clean! read more

Coast Laundry - 60lb washers but they have all sizes. - Laundromat Near Me - Hawthorne, California

I have been coming here for years before the expansion. The laundry mat was small but then Jerry decided to make it bigger and better. The laundromat like the gym because is very clean and well maintained because of all the ladies that work here. I don't know there names but they have always been helpful and keep it clean. It's hard keeping a public place on a busy boulevard clean next to a freeway entrance/exit and that's saying a lot. Yes the prices have gone up just like everything else. It's card based and they have phone chargers and free wifi. The restroom is clean I've used it a couple of times. They used to give out free coffee and cookies during the weekdays - I don't think they do that anymore but they should. I have used a couple times there wash and fold. For one full size laundry bag completely stuff with clothes I pay about 40.00 some people say that might be a lot but I've the service when I was too tired to do it myself or because of time. The folding and end product is very professional - so it's worth it. read more

Coast Laundry - Washers for 40lbs loads. Honestly this is the cleanest well maintained laundry mat in the galaxy. - Laundromat Near Me - Hawthorne, California

I am a home owner in the neighborhood and brought my comforter to wash here since it won't fit in my little house unit washer and dryer. Coast Laundry has many many machines so there's is no wait. They have small machines as well as large machines that wash up to 100lbs. Each machine has credit card reader which makes it so easy to pay without having to go to the bank for a roll of quarters. Maybe that's the way with all laundromats now..idk. The attendant kept the facilities very clean. And they play awesome music while you wait. They also have coffee on week days. I came on a Saturday. Oh, they are also open 24/7! Well, I am very impressed with this place. read more

Very spacious. Open 24 hours. It's always busy but never too overcrowded so there always space in the folding tables area. Also a lot of extra seating for waiting and they even have a massage chair you can pay for. Can be a little pricey. One load of warm water in the 20lb washer is $4.95 cold is $3.95 and then the giant dryers are $1.49/ 18 minutes. This is as of April 2025 read more

Great place for laundry. Clean large space and close to Starbucks. I bring my bulky items here from Orange County.

Besides it being a bit overpriced and hardly any parking, it's clean people are nice and everything gets cleaned asap!

Great facilities. The WiFi was helpful to get my homework done while I washed clothes.

Coast Laundry has various size washers 20, 40, 60, 80 pound washers. I can wash clothes, blankets & bathroom rugs. Large laundromat. Washers & dryers frequently serviced , lint traps are cleaned often. Dryers are hot and plenty available staff constantly cleaning folding tables & floors. Save time, no waiting for dryers. This facility is ridiculously expensive. Last night was my first and last time going there.. I understand everything is going up but still make it reasonable for people in your community. I used a washer that said it was $6.95 to wash at the beginning. After I pushed hot the price went up to $9.05 for hot water. Then to dry your clothes the prices were 10 minutes for $1.69 , 15 minutes for $1.59 and 18 minutes for $1.59. This is so frustrating for those who really don't have it. Straight up highway robbery. I will continue to wash where I've been washing my clothes at. This place is clean and quiet as well. I would've spent less than half of what I spent at my laundromat. read more

Been doing my laundry here for years. I moved a bit farther away but still come here . Lots of parking, safe area and plenty of tvs along with good music. Clean, well lit, friendly staff (MJ works nights and is very friendly and helpful) . Simply the best place to do your laundry , plenty of machines of different sizes . NO QUARTERS needed. There's a laundry card that you fill up and reload either cash, card or Apple Pay. The prices are on the high side but it's worth it because they use a thorough cleaning process with the water and the OZONE clean . You can even drop your clothes off and get it washed and folded . Greet for saving time and for those with busy schedules . There are tables where you can set up shop if needed . Trust me, this is the ultimate laundry experience . read more

Hi there, If you want to overpay for nearly everything then this place is for you! Price gouging for hot water included, and minimum 40$ for fluff and fold, 36.95$ plus tax, haha what a joke! Ok the cost then for the smallest washer, 20lb you pay 3.95$, not bad until you wash it hot and it jumps to 5.10$ a load! 40lb washer, the one everyone mostly uses is 6.95 a wash, 8.15$ for warm, 8.25$ for hot! Wow ! Sorry it gets worse! I haven't even mentioned the highest priced dryers in the world! 10mins for 1.69$ yes that's correct. Ridiculous, but remember if you got extra money to throw around like I'm sure everyone does, please come visit on overpay! NOPE! If not go elsewhere, I'm sure you will save money read more

I've been coming to Colast laundry for over a year as my dryer broke and honestly it's easier to do a bunch of loads of laundry and come here and dry them then shop for a new dryer right now. The reason I keep coming back is it is such a pleasant experience. The facilities are clean and I'm able to get in and out with ease. But my favorite part of coming here is the staff. I usually come in around 10 or 11 o'clock at night and Micheal , the gentleman that works here is so kind and sweet. He always greets me in the nicest way possible and it's always such a great time chatting with him while I wait for my laundry. Not only that, but when there was a super sketchy guy in the parking lot that wouldn't leave me alone, he came out and scared the dude away so I felt completely safe. I love coming here so I might never fix my dryer!!! read more

I've been going here since I moved to LA about seven years ago. The machines are always clean. They have all sizes. There's plenty of room and all the machines are always working.
