This is a very clean, spacious laundrymat the attendants keep it squeky clean. I would give it 5 stars, but the parking is shared with a nail shop, 2 restaurants, and a hair salon, so that makes it a challenge to get a space and the laundry mat is often very busy most days The 2nd issue is the equipment is starting to need service and some dryers don't get your clothes dry so choose wisely. 3rd issue is be careful picking the machines. This one could use a clear screen I didn't notice until after I loaded up a load that required a delicate setting. Super annoying read more

Have been coming to laundry for a couple of years now. Everything I come Estella is so helpful in helping with the machines. I use the extra large washers, and add extra rinse , and heavily soil. My clothes come out great. Then I use the extra large dryers. Prefer this laundry due to the fact that it's always clean and spacious. read more

I've only been here a few times but it's now my new favorite laundry location. For years I've done all my washing at Western Laundromat. Which is a coin laundry on Western, just south of Rosecrans. Though sadly and unfortunately, the current employees I see there most are oddly difficult to deal with. This isn't a review for that location so I'll just leave it at that. Thankfully I decided to try this place. Magic Laundry. HUGE difference. Very pleasant older gentlemen who definitely puts in work to keep this location well maintained and running smoothly. It's also not sensory overloaded like other places I've been to. I.E. T.V.s, music, customers, whatever. But rather tranquil in its own way. Important for me since I find laundry time a great time to read as much as possible. Only thing some people may not like is that to launder here, you're required to use their card. Which you reload with cash as needed. There are no quarters here. Not an issue for myself personally. Hope this helped! read more

I have been coming here for 2 years now, but lately the drying machines have not been drying the clothes right. I've had to put it to dry twice or three times even after splitting the loads. And today one of the washing machines left my clothes soaked and the lady said it was probably too much clothes. I showed it was half way full so then she blamed it on the soap and said I had to put it again. And I had to pay, same thing with the dryers. Machines are already expensive and to put them twice to wash and three times to dry it's ridiculous. read more

I've been coming here for about 2 years. Never had an issues until today. I was loading the machine #34 along with my son next to me. The employee Laura decided to clean the top of the machines next to me. The dust/ soap residue was falling on my sons head. I told my son to move. I did tell her that she could have waited for us to be done or simply say "excuse me". Her response was " if you want to argue you can go somewhere else and not come back here!!" In front of my child. I called the customer service # to give my feedback. This type of service/ behavior is not okay. Please have some common courtesy! Specially when it comes to children. Went here to clean my bed cover and I did not know what to do at first and was greeted by the manager who then showed me what I need to do before using the washer. I come to this location once a week staff has always been nice but today not so much. First of all were in a pandemic so we all know to give each other space. I start to put money on my card and an older lady who works here is literally on my back waiting for me to finish. Then i notice that i had something on my pants after i washed them in the washer machine so i took them to the sink to get it off. That same older lady in standing close to me to see what I'm doing. Mind you its just me and her and one other person in the laundry mat. I asked her if she needed to be where i was she said yes. Then she tells me in Spanish i cant do that in the sink. I say ok and wet a paper towel to get the stain off. She then decides to stand at the table behind me to watch me. I have never had any issues at this laundry mat try not to scold your customers. read more

I thought I would try this laundry mat instead of my usual because it was convenient today. What a damn mistake. The prices are expensive for the large washer. More than I have paid. Well I was here so let's just do it. You also need a card which is annoying because you will always have a balance. Basically the company will benefit from this. Now, one of the washers just stopped. Mind you I had three going. I asked the woman who is working if she can help me. She understood and answered me and said it will be 5 min to wait. So when it can open my stuff is soaking wet. She was waiting for the timer to end I mean who knows. I asked well can the company reimburse me or start it again so it can not be soaking. All of a sudden she magically can't speak English and is telling me no. That I need to hand wring it. Wow!!! So ok the company doesn't stand behind their machines. This laundromat is okay gets the job done. It is a 24 hour facility that has both card and coin washer and dryer machines to your availability which is very helpful. It's located inside a small plaza next to Aldi, Rock ' N Sushi & Dominos, makes it easy to grab a quick bite while waiting on your loads. The staff employees help answer all your question and keep a nice attitude while doing so - do not hesitate to ask them. My low star rating is due to the drying machine issue there all located against one wall and makes it very difficult placing your clothes inside and out of the dryer when jammed pack by people folding their clothes it can get irritating mostly in the morning hours. read more

I really loved coming here to wash but the hours are wrong on the website and the lady that works here has an attitude. I see closing time at 11pm on the website. I get here at 9:15pm to wash one load, so I politely ask her what time do you close and she says last wash at 9:30 we close at 10:30pm. She cops an attitude and starts talking to a customer in spanish, saying he knows we don't close at 11pm we close at 10:30pm. I tried to explain to her that the website says 11pm and I'll hurry up, I only had one load and this lady straight ignored me, literally walked away from me, Pretending she could not hear me. You can pretend not to understand me but pretend you can't hear me PETTY. I wanted to give them a 1 star but it's not the owners fault. I really don't think I'll be back. read more

This is my spot to clean my clothes. I'm retired so I usually go during the week when it's slow. I've been on weekends and it was a bit crowded but I still got the job done. A lil expensive to wash but I love the big machines to do my comforts, rugs, etc. Whenever I needed one of the attendants they were always helpful even though they all speak Spanish. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I went in this weekend and the woman who was there was so rude when I got there I put my clothes in the washing machine.Then I began to look for a little washer for my daughters clothing and that's when she told me no more washing at this point because water was flooding the laundromat and I was like okay it's fine I can wash this later. At this point my first washer had been going for about 10 min so I go to my car to put the rest of my clothes back in and she comes out of the laundromat yelling at me telling me that why would I put the clothes in when she had told me not to and I responded with " i had put them before she told me not to and the rest of my dirty clothes was in my car. She then proceeded to go inside and call me a stupid woman and that I did it on purpose. I decided not to argue with her in front of my daughter. she was so rude for a simple miscommunication. It's nice to come wash your clothes at a place where they really invest money into their business. They offer free WiFi which is nice while you wait. I've been to a couple laundromats since I moved to LA and I'm glad I found this one through yelp. I came on a Friday night, surprisingly not busy at all! There were many available washers and dryers. Magic laundry is one of the cleanest laundromats I've been to and it's very affordable! They have clean tables you can sit at while you wait for your clothes to finish. They also have snacks/ drinks you can purchase (even through your laundry card) while you wait. If you forget your detergent or dryer sheets, it's available to purchase as well :) It's child friendly too, they have gum ball machines and the claw game to get stuffed animals. Usually the laundromats that I've been to are smaller and don't have the cleanest/nicest looking washers haha so I was really happy to see these. Also magic laundry had carts AND THEY WERE WELL KEPT. not rusted or dirty it's like they've only been there a couple months haha. Definitely coming back read more

I always do my laundry here. The staff is very friendly and they always make sure that you have anything you need. It makes it a lot easier to wash as well because you don't need quarters you load money onto your laundry card and then you're ready to go. The coolest thing about this laundromat is that you also can use your laundry card to purchase snacks and drinks (very helpful if you want something to munch on but don't have cash for the vending machine). The prices might seem like they are high but they actually are very cheap. For example, the 8x load is 7.39 for the warm wash which is only 92¢ per load. Great deal you're getting here. Also, they renovated and their new washers and dryers are amazing. With just 1 dry cycle on high everything is perfectly dry. No damp clothes anymore woo. read more
