The love she has for her work shows in the attention to detail. The quality of her work is outstanding, her prices are fair and affordable, her team is efficient and impeccably organized and yet this isn't even the best part of being her client. Rosie has taken care my clothes and helped me with alterations of bridesmaid's dresses, clothes when I gained weight, and clothes when I lost weight! A few years ago, we moved to Lomita, about 20 minutes away from Rosie's. I tried 2 or 3 local cleaners, and none of them gave me the prices, service, and attention to detail that she did! I found this place last minute, on a Friday, the gentleman that helped me said I could pick up the green dress the same day. I did not need the purple dress, which is pictured on the back of the green dress, but they had both dresses ready for me. I came Friday afternoon to pick up my dress and it was beautiful, they removed the wrinkles, and various stains from my last wedding, which I just hung up in my closet after the wedding. I did not think to take it in to get it dry cleaned. It was so last minute and they helped me with a smile and just pleasantries. I believe I spoke with Rosie and she was just amazing, it felt like she knew me and was so pleasant. If I could give this place more stars I would. I will never bring my clothing here again. I brought in a blazer and a blouse to be cleaned on Monday and picked up today (Thursday). The blazer smells awful, like it has been laying in a pile of dirty clothes. It DEFINITELY was not cleaned. My blouse, which was only worn ONCE, now suddenly has a stain on it that they claim they could not remove. No one spoke to me about this when I picked up my items, they just left a tag on my blouse stating that they tried to get it out but couldn't get the stain out. The blouse also smells like a dirty hamper. I paid $11.50 for both items and believe I should be refunded. I need my blazer for tomorrow morning and now I am having to hand wash it hoping that it doesn't ruin it, because then I will have to make a quick trip to H&M to find a new one. We moved from another part of LA (west side) and I was really happy to find this place on Yelp. I wasn't as happy when I got a new cashmere sweater back from Rosie's and it looked like it had been aged 30 years and full of pills. Then I noticed one of my silk shirts had been torn. Today, I pulled out another dress, all wool and it was been dried cleaned at my usual Korean lady near the Grove. Again, full of pills like it has been aged and worn out and roughed up. The bad news is that I assumed these guys would be great and gave them two piles of my work clothes and now more than half will have to become casual because of how badly they have been treated. I was really hoping this was a hidden gem in the South Bay but instead now I have to spend time looking for new work clothes to replace the ruined ones. read more

This place is great for your normal dry cleaning and tailoring. It's my go to for that. For not everyday things, I'd choose a more commercialized place. I came here recently to get some patches sewn on a uniform. They didn't have this price set already, so I was quoted a price of $6 per patch (3 total), which I think is way too high.
