I like the laundry mat overall. Some of the machines have an awful smell that if you're not careful will end up on your clothing if you proceed with said washer. More importantly twice now I've lost money let staff know was told to write off on something I guess they use to keep track of such a thing months later no reimbursement not even an acknowledgement of loss of money. Just like you, I work hard for my money. Why don't you think my money is as important as yours? If you lost money at a Laundromat, wouldn't you want to be reimbursed? Why now have I had another incident and still haven't been paid for the first time? It's bold of you to think people will forget or when it happens more than once and you ignore them the first time they dont bother following up. That's what you're hoping is my understanding. The staff is extremely rude the man at night is even more. The lady this morning called the cops on me because I wasn't aware not rinse soppy clothes out in the sink. So she told me twice and pointing her finger at me. When I spoke up for myself she called the police on me. The police realized her actions because I literally didn't do anything. I always give the employees clothes, shoes, even a box of wines glasses brand new in a box. I even sweep up the floors to help them out. Since I'm not welcomed when the employee lied on me. She could have told me in a nice manner not yell at me. It was so embarrassing and my mother was on the telephone with me she heard how rude she was. I've been coming to super laundry for years and never have I ever had to deal with whomever is manager at the time be so rude or non responsive when asking for help with the machines or vending services. Whomever this man is that's over seeing things is very rude. I had a question about using my debit card to load a wash card and he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about! Then when I tried to load it the money was taken off my card but not loaded onto the wash card. When I brought it to this man's attention he said nothing I can do about it and walked away from me. To top everything off I took my son to get water from the vending machine and he taped up the areas where you insert coins. And to be even more rude we walked right in front of my 6 year old son and instructed the woman he called him self "training" to walk in front of him almost knocking my son over. Machine did not complete the cycle correctly! Man said he couldn't do anything about it but to take my number down, and I was supposed to pay for the re wash. Insisted we opened the machine prior to it being done. We all know you can't open a washer while it's in cycle. My clothes was soaked. The softener never even went down. Not the type to usually write a review, especially not on a laundry mat. I've been coming here for years and usually everything is fine until today. Getting off the car before taking anything down I had to use the restroom and decided it would be best to do so before taking down my HEAVY laundry from my car. The first thing I get from the lady, in Spanish, "your clothes?" She failed to say hello or to even ask if I was a customer. I let her know it was an emergency but that I can assure her I'm here often and that my clothes are in the car. She literally blew me off and just said no. Taken back from her response I ask for her manager or supervisors number. She said she doesn't have one and that she doesn't care about any of that and demands me to bring my clothes if I really needed to use the restroom. She also pointed at a number to call which ended up being disconnected. I'm very disappointed in the lack of respect and professionalism. I went there because my dryer broke I just needed to dry the man there was very rude told me I couldn't just dry. I said where is it written show me he was like I said. I use to go to this place when I lived in an apartment and didn't have a washer and dryer so I've seen other people come in and just dry without washing before not once was they turned away. Save your time and money. Came in to see what the prices were and how the machines take payment. First thing I asked the attendant was where was the price list for the machines. He said "there on the machines". So I went around to take some photos of the washing machines and prices and as I was leaving he said "you can't take pictures". I asked why and is there a sign that says no photography allowed. He said his boss said no pictures and told me to leave. I was already leaving. I have becoming here for years. New machines have been installed for about 3 years. Yesterday, just about all of these machines have really smells bad. The scent is aweful. First off, the DRYERS BURN YOUR CLOTHES, then the lady that "works" here is more worried about doing other laundry than attending to the people that are having issues with the machines. This is about my 5th time coming here because it's so close to my house. I was hoping things would change, but they don't. Machines are always broken, and today I had enough. Worst experience ! I came in to wash some plushies and clothes for my son. Regular like always When the cycle ends my clothes is soaked ! I tell the attendant and he said I put to much soap knowing I always wash the same amount of clothes. I ignore it and wash it again this time NO soap! I come back and it seven more soaked than the first time !!! He than says I didn't start the machine ! He was there ! How did I not start the machine yet my clothes are even more soaked than the first time ! He was so rude about it and disgusting attitude ! It's the older guy with glasses usually there for night shifts ! This laundry center is new and is open 24 hours and that's where the good part ends. It's ALWAYS busy...I've never ever passed it when it wasn't FULL of people. It's right at the end of my block so when I needed to wash my large bedding and some other misc. items I thought that this would be a good place to go...even if it's crowded. So I came here last night and it was...surprise...crowded...but that's O.K. I got my six loads of laundry in with no problem. I have a problem however with the PRICES!!! They "claim" that one of their washers can hold two loads for $1.79 and one that is slightly bigger can hold three loads for $2.79. That is FALSE! Unless one loads consists a few shirts and one pair of pants. The $1.79 can only hold one load and the $2.79 can hold maybe one and a half loads or a big comforter which is what I used it for. They do have regular washing machines for $1.00 but I didn't see those until I had already loaded up the other washing machines! This laundry center does not accept quarters and you have to but one of their "cards" for .75 cents and use a kiosk to add CASH ONLY! I put $20.00 on my card and ended up spending almost $19.00. For six loads of laundry...SERIOUSLY!!! Talk about taking advantage of people that live close by or that don't have a washing machine/dryer at home! The dryer was a little cheaper at .30 cents for 15 minutes and they are large so you can combine loads. I didn't do that as I wanted my laundry to actually be dry...and one of the loads didn't even get all they way dry but it was close enough! They do have rewards points where when you earn 1,000 points you can get a free wash...but from my estimates you would have to spend $50.00-$60.00 to get a free $2.79 wash. How generous! I will be back to wash my large bedding only since it is so close...but come on...lower your prices...give the working man a break...it's only laundry people!!! read more

Prices are reasonable $1.50 quarters for large cash washers, $1.00 electronic card (you load card after purchasing it from vending machine), $2.79 for super load washer (electric card). Dryers are 15 minutes at a time and $0.33. Like the many options of snacks, tV's, tables to eat or do some work. Needs more outlets and fix digital screens to load electronic cards. Attendants are available to purchase detergent or other supplies and to give change if needed. Super friendly and clean. Sign says no hot water. i went here to do my laundry the other day and found out they have changed their payment method. The last time I was here about 2 months ago you had to buy a prepaid card to use the machines. So i come today with my card that has a balance on it and the rude inept attendant tells me to read the signs that say these cards are no longer accepted. I ask him how do i get my money back and he said read the sign?? He said the signs have been up for months - NOPE! I asked him where the owner was and he said she just left + didn't know when she would be back. He said to give him my name + number and he would give it to her (Jenny) to call me. Came here for the first time to wash and they have new machines that take card & quarters. Hot water wash will cost you $0.50 more and extra rinse on your load will be an additional $0.50. The facility is new and clean and big. read more

Oh dear, you're coming home late and you haven't been able to do laundry for weeks because your apartment laundry room closes at 9 and everyone else closes at around 10 or 11PM...but wait! SUPER LAUNDRY IS 24 HOURS!!! WHAAAAAAAT?!?! However, the place is extremely busy and most machines will be taken so get ready to wait for a bit even at 10PM. Plenty of vending machines to feed you and a few arcade games to pass the time. There were a few machines that were out of order that didn't make the experience much better and the wash machines are 'decent' on price. The dryer is only 30 cents which is pretty awesome. Today was my first day at this Laundry , the worker only greeted the people who were Latino. The part that I have a problem with is that the worker seen me putting my clothes in the washer I was right on the side of here I had 4 loads of clothes . As I am getting my quarters out of the machine she only approached me asking me am I really washing .. She didn't approach anyone else that came in the facility that was using the machines. Then when it came to me to dry my clothes 2 of the machines kept cutting off so I told her .. she then told me just keep pressing the start button.. I made her aware that I was doing that but it kept cutting off she said oh well there's nothing she can do because it keeps cutting back on after you press start.. I let her know I don't have any more money to change dryers and she said she can't do anything beside press start .I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE!!! read more

The machine takes double what it says. When you try to get refund the guy refuses to do anything. Then he started to yell at me when I told him to give me the owners name. He said for me to leave. I would not leave till my clothes were finished. He began yelling more so I started to video tape him till he went away. read more

Perfect time to do laundry on Fridays 11pm... I've started washing here ever since this place opened with the original owner, since he sold it to the Koreans it still runs good and still a fan still get my rewards from doing laundry here all in all I got $150 isn't sweet. People who works here at night are nice they clean non stop and they always have a change to break your $20's. read more

I hesitated on writing this review for a couple of reasons . But now I must bc this whole situation was so fishy and I don't want it to happen to another individual!! Until this incident -I never had any issues with the workers, although I barely had interactions with any of them . If you're not a first, u know this place can get packed in the afternoons& weekends . Long story short, it was a Friday night and I was washing 2 loads . I Put loads in the washer & got in my car to wait bc it was packed inside. Then I went back in and shifted my items from washer to dryer. Now, it was drastically less people inside. After putting the loads in,I went back into my car, & began to not feel well. I couldn't understand y. I took a short nap and got up to fold and take my loads (2)out. I finished folding 1 and put 1 load into my basket & began to feel extremely dizzy & weak. It was so bad that couldn't stand, my body began to shake. I took the finished load& put it in my car and sat down to recollect myself . I had to use the restroom & did so. I was so weak I didn't want to stand back up from the toilet but forcing myself ,I did and went back into my car . I stayed in the car n fell into another nap. I woke up 30min or so later and went inside to take my 2nd load out from the dryer, I go to the dryer (#2) & it was empty . My clothes were gone, missing !! I couldn't understand what happened bc at this point there were barely people in there . I asked the employee (Hispanic lady, short ) if she knew what happened to my clothe & she said no & that she just came in for her shift . When I was washing & drying --it was a middle-age, Hispanic men working. I was very frustrated bc the load that was missing had all of my expensive items in it.The lady was very dismissive. I asked her to ask the previous employee if he saw and placed them somewhere & she said she would- called him &he told her no items were placed in the back room from his shift (this is where they usually leave loads that customers forget or leave ).I asked about the cameras & she said only the owner can view them (fair). I asked to speak to the owner & she said she's not here & I can't give you her number .At this point ,I called the police and reported it. An officer came and took my statement . It wasn't much he could do until the footage was shown . He asked if I wanted to press chargers and in the moment-- out of the kindness of my heart, I said no, I just want my items back ! At this point the lady employee began to take the matter more seriously once an officer was present . I told her to take my name n number and to pls tell the owner to call me . Because police were involved, she called the owner right then & there and I was told she will be there shortly . The owner came, I explained what happened . She was in a rush so she asked me to give her few days and she'll look at the footage & call me back . I gave her 2 weeks, nothing !I came back & spoke with a Hispanic-guy employee & asked him about it personally & b4 I can even go into details he cut me off and said 'no, we're not responsible, we didn't see anything'. I let it go. Thank God that same day they were Renovating so owner was present . Spoke w her & told her I was waiting for her call back and she said she forgot( I let it go bc she's probably busy w reconstruction ) but she told me she saw the footage n suspected this one Hispanic lady based on the timing & details I told her. Then she paused and said 'wait ' she then proceeds to go into a storage room full of bags of clothes. Owner told the Hispanic employee lady to bring one bag down that had the date of when my items were missing( at this point I'm confused as to y I wasn't given a call if items were found or suspected ,plus there were plenty of other bags w others clothe items), on the bag there was a note 'said her items were missing from dryer2' bc I was so happy my items were found I began to look inside n started folding my clothe . However, after finishing my folds, I realized all of my expensive items were STILL missing. ALL of my jeans , Adidas clothing, bed cover, &more . I was happy bc some of my stuff was found but very skeptical in how everything played out & now my expensive items are missing . I told the owner my items were missing and she had no answer for that . She said everything they found in the dryer was placed in that bag (mind u, in the beginning I was told by 2 employees & the owner that nothing was found ). I let it go and left with a unsettling spirit but I was very disappointed because the main things I needed were missing ! I returned after a month or two bc although everything was fishy the machines n time of operations are convienant for me . Take as a lesson ! It's one thing to suspect randoms to take ur clothes but employees n owner themselves being this fishy & suspicious is absolutely unacceptable. Can't trust no one ! read more

The place is always clean and machines well maintained. All the years I've been coming, I've never had a problem. This entire place is out of order. I would not recommend it. Prices are not cheap and wash cycle is artificially accelerated so that you move fast and who cares if your clothes are clean or not (especially difficult to do with only cold water). Usually only one attendant in duty, which means the place is constantly dirty and being cleaned at the same time. Haven't tried their drop off service so cannot comment in that. They force you to use their own cards (only small machines accept quarters). read more

As I write this review I'm still in Super Laundry - Hawthorne. I literally HAD to immediate write a review. This place does NOT service their washer & dryers. There are so many "Out of Order" signs it's ridiculous. We came in today 6/17/18 and purchased two soaps and already had one. We used 5 washing machines. Four were the "3 Load" washers and one was a "2 Load" washer. Three of the "3 Load" washers soaped up and we're working properly. We noticed one of the "3 Load" washers was not soaping up ( I recorded a video actually showing the difference between a washer that was working properly and the washer that CLEARLY needed to be serviced.). I notified the Super Laundry- Hawthorne attendant (A Lady). She said "All of the washers are not the same." "Some of them soap up and others don't", I asked her why not when ALL if these washers are the same price ($2.79). She said her earlier comments, but said we could move the clothes to a washer that was soaping up. I let her know that 1. The washer needed to be serviced and 2. We had used all of our soap in the previous wash 3. There was no point of putting the clothes in a new washer without soap (That's OBVIOUSLY how clothes are washed, WITH SOAP). She said she would switch the washers no problem. Okay, so she stopped the washer that needed to be serviced as we waiting for our clothes to finished in the washer that was working properly. I felt that she was helpful at this point. When it came time to switch the washers, she told us she would not provide soap for the washer that was working properly. This defeats the whole purpose of moving the clothes to a washer that soaps up. In order for the washer to soap up, we need soap. She began to walk away and continued walking while I was speaking to her. She went into the office and I knocked on her door. She brought out a clipboard with a piece of paper in it (I guess for complaints), but would not provide the owner's name or number to rectify this situation. I hope that someone contacts us regarding this situation, since I did fill out a contact form. This is super unconveint ( I spent an extra hour & a half here just to "wash" the same load 3 times and dry) and ridiculous. Customer Service is clearly not here and their washer/dryers need to be service or replaced! I only live around the corner, but I won't be coming here anymore. read more
