I been going here since the coast fitness gym opened and I never really have a complaint . This laundry mat is pretty clean for the most part and the laundry attendants are really helpful when you need something done or if you need help with a washer that wouldn't start . One thing I do want to point out that they should really do a thorough cleaning with their washers cause I've seen some washers that's pretty nasty looking and I try my best to avoid it at all cause that's the only complaint that I have besides how some of the card slots are sometimes annoying to just have a machine start up right away . But all and all this is by far a great laundry mat to use if your in the area . read more

The dryers suck! No matter how much clothes ( big or small) i had to dry my clothes for 2.5 hours and it still wasn't dry. RIDICULOUS.

High quality machines, good service, and theyre open 24/7. They keep this place clean and offer free Ozone with every wash. I cannot say the same for the hundreds of other Laundrymats in los angeles. Last time I was there the washers stunk so bad like poop, and the bathrooms are never clean. Dried gum and candy stuck to the drying machines that assistants never clean, so are your clothes ever really clean ?? I can go on and on. I used to wash here frequently but not anymore and it sucks because my gym is right next door . They say they have a ozone cleaning feature so there should be no excuse. very disappointed. read more

The place is usually clean, and most machines work. They just raised the cost however. Also they have signs that say weekday morning treats however they do not have any. I am sure it is because of the homeless that already wonder in to charge their cell phones. The staff doesn't seem to chase out the homeless who are not customers but just come in to sit in the chairs and use the electrical plugs for their cell phones. I have seen this many times coming here. When coming here, I do often times find that people leave their laundry in the dryers which takes up space. The staff doesn't always do much about this even though they have signs stating not to leave laundry unattended. read more

Although I have a laundry room at home I really like going to the laundry because of the big machines. This use to be my favorite place because they were constantly cleaning but over the years they've slacked off and although it's still the best option I've come across I don't go as often because of this. Thanks for your response. I just came from washing there and on the "new" side there was trash all over the floor. The I saw 1 worker who helped someone with her dryer and someone with the card loading machine. When I left at around 6:30 she was sitting at the table watching tv trash still on the floor I was there for about 1 1/2 hrs. And the lights on that end seem to be out as well it was pretty dark. read more

Honestly this laundry mat is the best the customer service at 2 am is honestly trust worthy and welcomed, this was my first time coming here and it's not my last for sure it's affordable pricing for an actually great laundry my clothes smelled absolutely clean and the dryers are amazing too, other laundromats you have to keeep putting in multiple quarters just for your clothes to dry at least here the dryers are worth the money and time ur spending here. Huge laundromat with tons of machines, tables, and wifi. Everything was clean. I wasn't used to using a laundromat, so it was a tad challenging for me to figure out which of the 1000 machines to use, but for my small load of laundry I was able to figure it out. I think I spent about $5 or so including the detergent for my time there, which wasn't too bad. My biggest gripe was that the bathroom require a code, but it doesn't seem like everyone knows it that works there and it just took a little while to track someone down that could open the door for me. Despite that, I was in and out in approx an hour and got my clothes nice, clean and dry...and was even able to get some work done on the computer while I was there, so that was perfect. read more

I've been coming to Coast Laundry for about a month or so. I had left Super Laundry on redondo beach Blvd to come here instead due to the reviews. What I like about this laundromat is: Cleanliness- the staff take care of the place and it shows. Lots of washers/dryers- you'll usually be able to find a washer/dryer with ease unless you're there during peak hours. Accepts credit/debit cards- this is convenient if you don't have cash. Spacious & has amenities- there is plenty of seating (including massage chairs), vending machines, lots of tables for folding. Close to my gym- proximity to my gym is about 5-7 mins, so I get a quick workout in while my clothes dry, lol. *would be more convenient if I went to Coast fitness right next door though. What I dislike: Parking- it can be slightly challenging as it shares the parking with Burger King & the gym. Typically I find a spot reasonably close but the spots are a little tight. Expensive- the prices are a little steep, but the price tag includes the amenities and "experience" you receive. Thieves- my card was stolen last week. My card fell out of my hoodie pocket and someone scooped it up without any guilt/remorse. It's not the laundromat's responsibility, but it's something to be aware of. Going forward, I have to vigilant about my card. Overall I'm pleased, and will continue to come here. read more

I would like to compliment these ladies who works here are pretty hard working, especially this lady name Silvia. She's always smiling and so courteous. You always see her wiping things down and cleaning the tables and floor. I take our comforter and blankets to wash here once a month, or so. They have 20lb, 40lb, 60lb, 80lb and even 100lb washers. When i wash, i have 3 families comforters to wash. My parents, my home in South Bay and my home in Long Beach. I take it all here in one trip each time. Saves me on the visits because I hate doing my laundry outside. One of the cleanest and biggest laundromat in the South Bay! Easy access, hop on, hop off freeway on El Segundo exit in the 405 freeway. Mostly come here to wash all the big blankets, towels, and bedsheets. They have 80lb and 100lb washers to fit all your big items. Open 24hrs!! And always a staff on site cleaning and sweeping. Love that its clean and everything is always wiped down spotless, including the washers and dryers. No soap scrum and residue on the machines like some other laundromats. Free WiFi, and charging station for your phones! Time goes by faster when you got free wifi to watch your movies on your ipad! Awesome! read more

I love this facility when it started. I dont care about the prices going up, i understand everything else out there is expensive. But having to dry a light load 3 times is absurd. The best part about coming here late night however is the night attendant Michael Jackson (yes his real name). This guy is extremely helpful as things with laundry go and the facilities plus he is the nicest guy with 2x the average person's personality and charisma. For the money paid; I don't think its a good value, especially drying. Maybe it were the dryers I was using but after 8 times 1.59, for each cycle and for clothes to be still damp isn't good value by no means. I spoke to an attendant and all she could do was hunch her shoulders and point to the sign to contact the owner, etc. At any rate; I can deal with the $10 plus washers but the dryers; that was such a waste. So it is a nice, bright and large facility with washers of every size. The smallest is a 20lb washer at $3.50. However it is not clear that you must buy one of their laundry cards. I thought you could use a regular credit credit card based on a sign on their machines but it is not the case. I wandered around reading signs and looking for an employee who was nowhere to be found. I do not want to buy a laundry card. I prefer quarters or using my credit card. I left, only then an employee wandered back in from taking a blunt break. read more

Visiting in LA and I needed to get my clothes smashed but didn't want to spend time waiting. I'm so glad I found this place! Wash and fold for $1.69 a pound and it was ready within 4 hours! The place is really clean if you would like to do your own laundry too. The staff was friendly and explained the process to us. The only downside is the parking lot. I went around 5pm to pick it up and the lot was packed from the people using the gym next door. Not a big deal though and not worth dropping them a star just for that. I'm going to continue using this place while I'm here. The clothes were folded very neatly and everything smelled fresh. Thank you to the amazing staff there!! read more

Not surprised with very high rating. This coin laundry place has many washing machines and driers that are for different amount of clothes. This place offers free wifi and have outlets to charge your device while waiting. Offers chairs and tables. They have two or three vending machines, one for laundry necessities, one for drinks, and I don't remember if there was a vending machine for snacks. There is one public bathroom but requires access code. They have TV and it was playing Cars the movie but in Spanish with Spanish subtitles. There are staffs cleaning and such. They have carts available to bring clothes from your car. The price is cheap too in my opinion. This place is good place to wash clothes. read more

Ridiculously expensive. Not only do you pay for the wash but if you want warm water you pay more and if you want hot water you pay even more then warm. You also pay for each time you dry so if your clothes are not dry you have to pay again... todays total was $61.00 for three large washers and drying. read more

I've been visiting Coast for a about a year. Usually during the hours of 10pm-2am. MJ has always been great. Unfortunately I had a really bad experience on 10/17. I arrived like usual and expected to see MJ but he wasn't there. In his place was a very rude, antisocial woman who never acknowledged or greeted me. Also I've worked customer service for many years and can't understand why you would mop an area of the laundromat without any form of wet floor signs or blocking it off. Can we say safe hazard in a high traffic area. MJ makes sure to keep everything clean and tidy. While making you feel super safe and comfortable. Bring back MJ and please get better training for this woman. read more

The facility is large and very clean. We did fluff and fold when our washer broke over thanksgiving. It's costly- but efficient and they fold and organize everything well. Downside is no one wears masks - not staff not customers. The workers also do not wear gloves while folding your clothes which really grossed me out. COVID aside I would say gloves for touching customer clothes. Lastly they don't seem to use any softener so our clothes felt rough and stiff. I had them use hypoallergenic soap for just our newborn clothes and they were so rough we decided not to use them on the baby as it would irritate his skin and rewashed when our washer arrived at home. read more
