Super clean machines and a well-kept interior made for a great experience…read more  I used a medium load washer for $5.75, which took about 35 minutes. Payment was easy with Apple Pay through AirWallet. Laundry supplies available for purchase but most customers brought their own. The owner was very kind and helpful, answering my questions and clearly takes great pride in creating a welcoming, clean, and safe environment. The quiet residential neighborhood nearby made it easy to enjoy a walk while waiting for my laundry to finish. Highly recommend if you're in need of laundry service!

Services include…read moreself-service, fluff & fold, and pickup & delivery (24 - 48 hour turnaround and serving Redondo Beach & nearby areas). [Parking]: Easy and free parking within a strip mall. [Payment]: No need to purchase any cards or get changes on coins - use kiosks for an easy credit card transaction and this laundromat has one kiosk for washers and one separate kiosk for dryers. [Atmosphere]: The laundromat was pretty empty when I came here on Sunday afternoon. There's a TV playing iHeart90s Radio. Very clean space. [Special notes]: * "Drying only" is not allowed. * No rugs with plastic are allowed in machines * Customers must stay with the last loaf at 8 PM no exception * Ask for more info on loyalty rewards program * Any laundry left behind near closing time will be bagged and donated * All pods must go in machine drum and not in soap dispenser. * No public restroom for customers * No large rugs or carpets allowed in the washers. [Price]: $5.75 for a medium load washer. For dryers, $0.25 for every 5 minutes up to 90 minutes max ($4.50). Regular service (24 - 48 hours) = $2.75 per pound. Rush service (5 - 8 hours) = $3.25 per pound. Local pickup / delivery = $4.50 per pound. Kids clothes (24 - 48 hours) = $3 per pound. Comforters, blankets, mattress covers, pillows (2), down comforters = $30. Minimum $30 for regular service and $35 for rush service. Scent beads = $3.75 per load. Bleach = $3.75 per load. Small carpet = $35. Spot treatment = $3.75 per load. Plant based detergent = $3.75 per load. [Holding fee]: The laundromat only hold items for 72 hours. After that there is a mandatory $5 daily holding fee. [Conclusion]: This is one of those laundromats where visitors come for an easy and convenient wash-and-go experience. This is a much better laundromat than Fluff & Fold Coin Laundry in Torrance.

Amazing First Experience at Coast Laundry!…read more Laundry day has always been one of my least favorite chores, but Coast Laundry completely changed that. After my first visit today, I can honestly say this was the best laundromat experience I've ever had. A close friend had been recommending Coast Laundry to me for years, but I always chose laundromats closer to Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach. From the outside, Coast looks smaller than it actually is, so I never bothered to go inside. I definitely misjudged it because once I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. The facility is spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out. There are plenty of washers and dryers, so it never feels crowded, and there's lots of room to move around comfortably. I even noticed massage chairs, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. The machines are excellent. The washers cleaned my clothes efficiently, and the water was actually hot--not just lukewarm like at many other laundromats. The prices are very reasonable, and the dryers worked incredibly well. They got hot quickly and dried my clothes thoroughly without needing multiple cycles. The amenities were another nice touch. There are vending machines with snacks and drinks, televisions throughout the facility, and the entire laundromat has a clean, relaxing atmosphere that made doing laundry much more enjoyable. What truly made this experience stand out, however, was the exceptional customer service from Zaira. Since it was my first visit, I wasn't familiar with the card system or the machines, and I probably asked her for help at least ten times. Every single time, she stopped what she was doing with a smile and patiently walked me through everything. She never once made me feel like I was inconveniencing her or asking too many questions. Her kindness, patience, and professionalism made all the difference. A clean facility and quality machines are important, but outstanding customer service is what earns loyal customers. Zaira represents Coast Laundry exceptionally well, and because of her, I won't be going anywhere else for my laundry needs. Thank you, Zaira, for making my first visit such a wonderful experience. Thanks to you and the excellent facility, I may actually start looking forward to laundry day. Coast Laundry has definitely earned a lifelong customer! Highly recommended!

For what I needed, which was to wash two outdoor gravity chair cushions, it did the job…read more 1. No frills no thrills. This is a minimalist spot. You may want to wait in your car as there's little to no seating inside and out. During the day there's a MX restaurant, a liquor store and a coffee shop to fraternize. 2. Safety: I've seen a few comments about sketchiness of this business and assume they mean the clientele or people therein and around. I was here on Sunday afternoon and evening. There are definitely some folks that appear to live a certain lifestyle, but none that made me feel threatened per se. One guy was super odd, but I just avoid him. El Segundo, as a community has been both sketch and Mayberry-esq for sometime. Lots of tattoos and biker types mixed with young couples and young families and retirees. You get the gamet. Now the properties are $1.5 for a 700sqft 2/1 old home with zero beach view or access and rather 2 miles from the beach. Rent isn't cheap either. That's not a sketchy type environment. The cars are not cheap cars, and the people simply look like everyday humans simply doing their laundry. I wouldn't come here late or during their 24 hr night stretch simply because I wouldn't go anywhere late like that doing laundry. Less people, somewhat remote location breeds room for shadiness. That said, ESPD does not play and will be there in seconds. 3. Costs: quarters only. No cards, no apps, no Apple Pay, nada. So bring quarters. The machine does provide change for $1-20 bills but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't give you the right change. Also it was $5.75 to wash one 5ft long gravity chair cushion. That's a lot yes, but it's a lot more to buy a new one. Count your blessings and move on. You can wash in a smaller washer for $3.75. Drying was $.25 every 8 minutes and it took 24 mins to dry each cushion separately in a dryer. Some machines do eat your quarters with no way to get refunded. Just bang it and maybe you'll get your change back, it worked for me. But yes some machines eat do your money. They should fix that but why would they? No law that says you can't cheat customers out of their quarters! Be wise. 4. Parking: huge lot, plenty of free parking and well lit at night. 5. Folding clothes: there's two areas to do this. Often taken. Not a lot of room there either. 6. No sink to hand wash stuff and no restrooms. The MX spot may have one but I'm sure they want you to contribute something. 7. Cleanliness: seemed fine. Maybe they just cleaned. I saw no concerns except the outside trash can was overflowing. All in all, my W/D at home isn't big enough to wash these so I was thankful as this place served its purpose. I watched people come here with 5-6 loads on average, so I assume it gets crowded often. The place is narrow so moving carts around isn't happening. I'd come here again simply to wash these oversized outdoor items. But that's it.
