The old owners/management were terrific. Nice people, competitive prices, friendly and good quality. And they Offered coupons. (As of April/May 2021) Unfortunately new "management" basically doubled the price of a men's shirt to be laundered. Used to be $1.75. Now it's $3.25 or $3.50. Then when I picked up my shirt today, they dry cleaned it and naturally charged $5.50. COVID had been tough on many small business. But why penalize your loyal, long term customers. Not even an apology for the mistake. The place was pretty much empty. I feel bad but totally understand the why. Now to find a new place after four years. read more

I wish I looked this place up before I decide to walk in.....smdh I've only interacted with one girl here that have great customer service. But do NOT trust your expensive items here. Or really any item that you care about. I've been here 3 times and they did well with tailoring but the second time she wrote on my receipt to have it tailored and didn't even tailor it then tried to double charge me the second time I came back for them to do the work they should have done the first time. The basic work of dry cleaning my clothes was terrible. My Expensive designer black pants or washed of their tone shrunk and ruined the fabric. My expensive $200 Nike Limited addition hoodie that I purchased an extra large shrunk to a medium. my 3 garments that cost between $150-$250 were all ruined. I was pissed at myself for paying them to ruin my clothes. I would have done better looking up a YouTube video. Whatever process they are using ruined my clothes in terms of fabric feel and they also shrunk. I will not be returning to this place EVER AGAIN. read more

We've been using Spring Cleaners for over 12 years, since they were at their old location. Over the years Isa and Sonia and all the others have cleaned most of our clothes, mended just about everything, hemmed jeans and pants, sewed on millions of patches, even altered a bridesmaids dress or two for me. After three days, two of them were still DIRTY. Okay they took two of them for clean again.(try to clean, I mean it). After another 4 days, they came out still dirty and guess WHAT? A BIG HOLE. I thought I had a "negotiated" rate with them, until I picked up my last dry cleaning and realized I had been overcharged. DO NOT BRING YOUR CLOTHES HERE!!!! I repeat, don't. I brought a pair of linen pants here with a small tear. They attempted to fix it but the day I wore them, the ripped again. So I thought them again, but when I picked them up they had a WHOLE in the back of the pants and the owner tried to claim it was there before. When me and the kind lady at the front went over the pants prior and she told me it happened during the washing. He actually yelled at me and told me I was being ridiculous and that this isn't his problem. A extremely rude man. Dry Cleaning and LA, should be easy right... the only easy thing about it is the cost. Go to the wrong place and you are left shell shocked by the prices when you pick them up. I found Spring Cleaners on one of my lunch runs. I dropped in, met the owner - Issa, and talked about the community, his family he is raising, the schools and how much he loves the area. I dropped off my shirts from the previous week and they were promised in 2 days... I came back on the third day and found Issa preparing for deliveries... he remember me, we chatted some more and picked up my clothes... all good, prices in line with what I expected, no surprises. I have since made them my go to place and haven't had any issues. I'm horrible with names, but the girl who seems to be there the most has memorized my number (future stalker? lol) and start pulling my order as I pull up in front of the store. I drop off every 7-10 days, so I'm a regular, though I usually forget to check in. On one occasion I also had a sports coat altered. They did a great job... it's hard to find clothes that fight right... if the shoulders fit, the waist is so bulky. My only complaint, I lost my bag, so I'm using my Ikea bag as I haven't caught Issa the last few times to get a new bag. Thanks for the excellent customer service. read more

Dry Cleaners aren't known for being as funny, but it is true that I've learned to heed the warning labels on clothes. Coupons in the mail are the reason my wife and I found Spring Cleaners. The service and the general sense they do an ok job cleaning my clothes keep me going back. Since moving, Spring Cleaners has become my regular dry cleaners and shirt laundry. The convenient location and free parking make it an easy choice on the way to/from work. The usual turnaround time seems to be 2-3 days which is totally fine with me. Thanks to the coupons, the prices are reasonable. Be on the lookout for one before going. It's not going to be SGV cheap prices, but it's still less than many comparable dry cleaners on the Westside. read more

I'm a pilot. Based in LA live on the east coast. Occasionally can't get home between trips, so I have to get help getting uniforms cleaned quickly. Used Spring cleaners several times, and they always do a great job. Even on short notice if they can. In fact, recently the owner (Issa) went above and beyond to help. One of his employees had to leave early, so they got a little behind. Because I needed my uniforms quick, Issa offered to deliver my uniforms to me at my hotel. Not only do they do a great job, they try to do it quickly with solid customer service. Highly recommend this place. Great small business owner. read more

I'm not very experienced with dry cleaners, so I'll give straight facts with no opinion: I brought in a suit jacket, suit pants, and two white, collared shirts to be cleaned. I found out about last minute travel, so I needed it same-day. I tried using the coupon on the back of my Ralph's receipt for 40% off, and was informed that I couldn't for same-day service (understandable). Stuff is supposed to be ready by 5. No idea how much it will cost (no signs posted, no cost on the pick-up receipt, etc. I come back at 5:30, wait for 15 minutes while they find and finish pressing my suit jacket. I pay $26.50 for the four items, and am on my merry way. Because of my last-minute travel, I have no chance to check the work that's been done, so I pack and leave. When putting on my white shirt (on the other side of the country), I notice a number of small black spots on the bottom of the shirt. I don't think they were there before, but I can't remember, and it's on the part of the shirt that no one sees anyway. The suit jacket smells like it hasn't been washed for 2 years, so I have to find something that smells reasonable to try to get the smell out. Begin opinion section: I don't know if the price is reasonable, but for same day service, it seems like it. The stuff wasn't ready when they said it would be, but I still got it by the time I needed it, so I don't really care. But I should've known, when she said "I'm having trouble finding the jacket" and then said "oh, she's just finishing up pressing it" that it wasn't actually cleaned. It was probably thrown on a hanger, where probably stayed until someone came to look for it because I wanted it. It was pressed very nicely. But the smell is an obvious giveaway that **my stuff didn't get cleaned**. So no, I do not recommend this place (unless they already know you, and thus will do a good job, obviating the need for you to use Yelp). HMMM. Well, I'm glad the lady above was fortunate enough to have had a great experience, but I'm going to have to attribute that to the fact that she had her items cleaned, pressed, and altered at another cleaners. Unfortunately, my experience has been exactly the opposite. Every single time I bring items to be dry cleaned, the items are still dirty, if not dirtier. It is really inconvenient to have to run an errand twice, because someone else was unable to fulfill their end of the bargain. Normally, I would have gone to another cleaner, especially after they destroyed and ripped apart my friend's $1000 suit (without assuming responsibility), but their saving grace was that the owner really does seem like a nice guy. However, after this experience, which was the worst of all, I will NEVER USE them again. I know for a fact, that my son's 1st birthday outfit was brought in with less stains than it came back with. I know this, because after making a very thorough inspection, I had contemplated whether I should have the outfit cleaned or not. My final decision was that it was important, and I brought the outfit in for cleaning. BIG MISTAKE! When I pointed out the stains, the lady countered back by saying the outfit was that dirty when in came in (okay, a complete lie...but even if it were, why isn't the outfit clean?) and that they TRIED to clean it twice (again, why are you giving it back to me dirty?). Then she made me sign a waiver giving them the license to abuse my son's outfit in order to properly have it cleaned. On top of that, she told me that I was the only customer who has problems with stains. REALLY?? WOW!!!! Does this mean that my family and I are really a band of stain making superheroes possessing the power to leave extra durable stains to plot against the villainous town dry cleaners?? AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Went in on a Wednesday to get two patches removed from a shirt and placed onto another. Simple enough. Talked to the front desk woman, Sonia about the whole situation, said it would take until Friday at 4 PM (two days later). Reasonable enough. Came in Friday at 5PM, more than enough time to get it done, an additional hour for them. The shirts were in the bottom of the bag, had not yet even been taken to a tailor (tailor is at a satellite location). Sonia, the front desk woman gave me a weak excuse saying they had not been taken yet. It sAT THERE FOR TWO WHOLE DAYS. HOW HARD IS IT TO TAKE OFF PATCHES AND SEW THEM ON TO ANOTHER SHIRT. IF IT WON'T BE READY BY A CERTAIN DAY AND TIME, WHY AGREE UPON IT IN THE FIRST PLACE?? This was a work uniform, and because of this incident I was written up at work for lack of a uniform. Returned the shirts back to Spring Cleaners because I was told I'd most likely get a discount for the entire fiasco. They will be ready by Saturday (the next day) per Sonia. Will update.. UPDATE: Returned Monday, two days later than the expected date. Shirts were completed but not even remotely close to what I asked for. They had taken off one patch and sewn it onto the other shirt. NOTHING IS RIGHT. Talked to Sonia about it she kept saying, "from what I understood, I thought you wanted it to be like this..." I pay very close attention to detail, it's in my JOB DESCRIPTION. I KNOW WHAT I WANT. Yet she continually told me, THE CUSTOMER, what she DEEMED was right. I left the store with a wasted week of time without a single correct thing to show for it. First time I write review on Yelp. I would give negative stars if I could. Very bad place to take your clothes here for alteration. I took my new and only set of uniform here and I asked for expedited alteration since I have to wear it to work in the upcoming week. They charged me extra for the expedited service but that was fine. I dropped off my clothes on Monday and I was told I will get it on Thursday. Thursday afternoon, I came to pick up my clothes but it wasn't ready. They extended until the following Monday. I was still okay with that. Monday comes and it is still not ready yet. They extended again to Friday. I confirmed with them that I must get it on Friday and they told me yes. I had to borrow my friend's uniform to wear it to work while waiting for it. On Friday, I called to see if my uniform is ready and they said they have not even start the alteration yet. I asked to get my uniform back and they refused to give it to me because the alteration lady took it and she was disappear. I asked to talk to the owner and they hung up on me. I keep calling them and finally they agreed to give me back my clothes unfinished but I still have to pay the alteration fee. Veryyyy bad place. Very dishonest people. Everybody in there are rude! Once upon a time, I wasn't a Spring Cleaners customer. I started going there because a friend of mine gushed about the owner being a major part of the Westchester LA community. I support local businesses so I thought I'd give them a try. First let me say that the owner didn't need to be there for me to get good customer service. The lady behind the counter now knows me when I come in...that is really only every month or two. That is not frequent for a dry cleaner but they remember me each time. Isa, the owner even caught the fact that a strap needed to be fixed and they did that too. Their prices are competitive especially when you bring in their great coupons! I dropped off one men's shirt for dry cleaning and three ladies' t-shirts to be hemmed - straight cut hem, one inch. After two weeks of waiting for them to be ready, I picked up the t-shirts and was charged $64!!!! Each t-shirt is uneven and bunched up. It is terrible workmanship. I have called twice and complained, left messages for the owner, Issa, to call me and.........nothing. I will never be able to wear the t-shirts. Very upset and totally overcharged. Lost my business. I got charged extra for same day alteration only to find out that my pants were not done yet when they had said. 2 stars for friendly service, but does it really matter when your clothes get screwed up? I know yelp reviews on dry cleaners are a huge crapshoot because it's one of those types of businesses that people will only write reviews of when they're complaining (along with fast food, chain pharmacies and PetSmarts). So when I saw the good reviews for this place I was like, OK, it's right near my office, the dry cleaner I usually go to only takes cash and it's in a stressful intersection, what have I got to lose? First off...they charged 3x what my usual dry cleaner charges. Whateves. Prices vary wildly depending on what part of the city you're in so I kind of expected it. This was a pretty big order (about 19 dry cleaned shirts and a suit) so I didn't have time to check everything individually. I just counted. All the pieces were there. Then I got home. One of the shirts was someone else's, and I was missing one of mine. I took it back to them and the manager was very nice and remembered me from before. He quickly found the right shirt. Alright, so we're still doing OK. Cut to 2.5 weeks later (tonight), I'm packing for a trip to Vegas. I'm noticing one of my favorite shirts, the one I rarely wear, has a tag on it that says "Special attention has been given to this garment but the SPOTS or STAINS remaining cannot be removed." That's funny, I thought. There were no spots OR stains on this shirt. I had worn it out one time and had gotten fairly sweaty in it, but there were zero stains. I'm fairly particular about taking good care of this shirt. Then I laid it out on my bed. What looks like black ink stains slathered up and down both arms. GAHHHHHH. Shirt is completely ruined. Frustrated, I went to grab my the OTHER favorite shirt, and they had broken the top button in half. No tag on that one I noticed! I could take it back to them and complain but what's the point. I can't get that shirt back. It can't be fixed. And the button on the other shirt was a fairly unique white/red style that you can't just replace. All I can do is mourn the loss. TL; DR: Very nice staff, thoroughly ruined one shirt, messed up another, at a price 3x what I usually pay. Never again. read more

I stopped by the cleaners and asked if they did alterations. It happened I spoke with the owner Issa (Esau), who told me they did... and did it well. I brought the trousers from the suit I was going to wear in MY WEDDING and had them prepared for alterations: waist, seat, cuffs. They TOTALLY RUINED MY PANTS. Irreparably damaged, I was forced to purchase another suit. I have made several stops by the cleaners and have requested the owner call several times as well, but he has not. I don't expect to be reimbursed... that would take class... but I want an opportunity to let him know I am VERY displeased with the job. This is the next best way. As far as alterations, I wouldn't recommend this cleaners if they were giving you cash to alter your clothes. read more

Some of these bad reviews really surprise me. I've been going to Spring Cleaners for nearly five years (both at the location next to Kohls and now just off of Manchester Ave) and never had a bad experience. Not once, not twice but three times I've left items of value (cash and or other items) in my pocket and I've gotten a phone call and my forgotten belongings returned. Dry cleaning always comes back in good condition and the pricing is below several other businesses in the area. I've had several alterations done and they've always been great. Issa's team does a great job and Sonja has always been very helpful. I've never had a bad experience in literally more than a 100 visits - I strongly recommend. read more

The staff is friendly, the cleaning, ok. However, don't ever bring your clothes here for alterations! I needed a shoulder seam sewn up...when it came back it looked like a six year old made the alteration. I politely asked them to send it back & have it redone properly. It came back somewhat better. This time I submitted a new linen jacket for cleaning and they tore the lining in the back of it. I asked them to repair it. When it came back, apparently the same six year old is still doing the alterations there. It was a mess. I'm taking it somewhere else to have it properly repaired.
