The Redhook Brewlab is a fantastic addition to the Capital Hill area. Recently went here after work with a group of about 15 and the service both before and during the event was nothing short of welcoming and quality. The beers are cold, fresh and a good value for the price paid (especially during happy hour). The pizzas are served quickly and pair wonderful with their beer. The location has a fun vibe with tv's, open seating and is kept clean. Barely had walked though the door and was handed a taster. From then I went on to order a flight and also got a few more free tasters. The stay was very knowledgeable and attentive. I love all the space (indoors and outdoors!) that this place offers. It was a great place to watch NFL games after a long weekend. My only "complaint" is the lack of non-IPA beers, but hey, that's also pretty common here in Seattle. Beer only review - didn't try the food but I believe they offer a happy hour. After speaking with the bartender apparently this place only offers experimental beers (none of the corporate, traditional redhook line). The beers were much better than I expected and was pleasantly surprised. We tried one called "Elf Blood" (a collab with Crucible) and it was so incredibly smooth, rich and tasted like raspberry. Tonight was my first visit. I don't normally drink beer. However, I enjoy beers that have yummy coffee flavors so I order the lighter of the two beers (lighter alcohol content, lighter hops content, etc) with the coffee profile. I completely spaced and forgot to ask the bar tender the name of it -oops! It was very tasty with a definite coffee profile that was smooth and delicious! I almost finished the entire beer, which says a lot for me -HA! Sadly, I can't say the same for the mussel sandwich/hoagie I ordered. The bread wasn't toasted. It was just a regular, room temperature, flavorless baguette. I think I counted five mussels in the entire sandwich and the sauce drizzled/mixed with the mussels was underwhelming. Idk what I was expecting, maybe something hot? Flavorful? A crunchy texture to compliment the softness of the mussels? I was disappointed. read more

There's something here for everyone so perfect place to park and catch up with a group of friends. Okay I don't drink beer and didn't have any so I can't speak about that.. but besides that, this place is great! Came here for a friend's birthday and it's totally up my alley. Clean, open, huge space and a very industrial interior. Plenty of seating in the front patio, indoors, and back patio (with a fire pit)! The food here is amazing. They're all small bites but packed with flavor. You take a little printout in a bucket at your table and write down the quantity of whatever item you want on the menu and bring it to the bar to place your order. You also pay at the time but can keep your tab open or closed. My bf and I went a little crazy and we got the oysters, Korean style fried chicken, wagyu beef sliders, mussels, and Brussels sprouts. Everything was so flavorful! Great bar/finger foods. My bf doesn't even like Brussels sprouts but he thought they did a good job! Granted we went on Labor Day but I feel like this would be a really chill brewery even on a Friday/Saturday night in cap hill. read more

The cheese pizza was overcooked. The cheese didn't have that nice melted stringy goodness. The crust tasted bland and the cheese had no give. There are two bars with lots of TVs. I'm a Hawks fan but I'm glad they were showing other games too. Not every tv needs to play the same game (don't kill me). The drinks are fairly priced and the bartenders are friendly. The only thing I didn't really like is that there's no table service because ordering at the bar can take forever but it wasn't too bad. They have a few booths but mostly table seating along with some standing tables. I think the outside patio is connected as well but it was too cold to go outside both times we went. Their hh seemed decent so maybe we'll come back for food then but wouldn't order the cheese pizza again. It's a good place to catch a game though. read more

BF prefers yellow mustard and not mustard seeds. I don't care either way. It was good. BF thinks pretzels are underrated. I think they're rated just fine. Carbs always good with beer. Beer: not gonna lie, I don't love. Get a sampler of 6 for $12 and see what I mean. Everything (I believe) is a collaboration of some sort. Most were alright, there was one with some whiskey flavor (tasted like a shot) that was potent tasting. Overall: would try again. the space and the fact that this was all based on a quick in and out experience, I'm not too quick to judge. The location is clutch, walking distance for me. Had a drink here with friends on Saturday night and I thought the atmosphere was great! It's a super relaxed place with a lot of open space and seating. I really like how it offers a variety of seating arrangements - court yard seating around a fire, picnic-styled tables out front, or just your typical booths and bar chairs. It's good to visit if you're not ready for a crazy night out, but don't want to be too far from the action. The beer was great as well and decently priced. Plenty of seating and even some outdoor space with firepits for those nights when you want to chill outside. We stopped at the Redhook Brew Lab after touring Pike Place market. It was very nice, with benches outside and plenty of seating inside. The beer was really good-I had the ESB (their flagship I think) and my husband had an IPA. When you check in on Yelp, your first beer is only $2! Anyway we tried the crab Mac and cheese which was great and we watched a game. We really enjoyed ourselves, and we got a couple of "crowlers" to go. Highly recommend this place!
