Don't come or support this Red Wing location. Poor customer service. Came to exchange a pair of boots for a differ t size. I was told I had to go back to the store I got them from to process return/exchange because of new system and he cant even get boots from other stores since each store is ran independently. I wanted to exchange for a different size however he was adamant that he couldn't process the return/exchange. This is a joke and a disappointment since I have been a long time customer of Red Wings. Purchased the pair of shoes in April. So 6 months later with approx 3-4hrs daily wear only, the shoe is falling apart. Reason for a 1 star rating is because their 12 month warranty can't do anything to help. For $150 I'd expect a bit more out of a pair of shoes that's meant to hold up. read more

So, my husband has been wearing Red Wings for 10+ years now but has always frequented another location on the west side. For some reason unknown to us that store was closed for several days. We called the Thomas store more for info but my husband ended up inquiring if they had a boot in stock that he normally has to order at our usual location. They put his size a side and in the morning he went to pick up. They open at 9:30 but Michael opened up a little after 9 when he noticed my husband waiting. After talking for several minutes Michael asked the hubs several questions asking why he was wearing the style of work boot he had worn for years? My husband has small, narrow feet and has always had to put inserts in his shoes to make them narrower to fit. Michael asked if his lower back hurt, and it just recently has started too. He suggested they put him on this machine that predicts the type of shoe to select. Long story short, Michael took the time to ask questions and recommend what would be the best shoe for my husband. Never in 10 years has the other location suggested he be fitted. Because of Michael's great customer service skills this Red Wing will now be our store. And he was correct on his recommendation after several days of wearing his new boots his back has stopped hurting! read more

Horrible Experience. I needed work shoes and I'd gone there in the past years ago and had a pleasant experience. In this most recent experience my foot was digitally measured, the sales person, a young man, suggested a size based on that information, I assumed given Red Wings reputation that he was familiar with the product, I tried them on and they were a little snug but he expressed that they would stretch. After one day's use the shoes actually hurt. After expressing the dissatisfaction he said that an exchange or refund was not possible but that they could stretch them, a process taking a about a week and a half........I'll never go back read more

Extremely pleased with the outstanding customer service at this Red Wing Store. The two guys were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. My husband brought in a pair of Redwing work boots he bought back 2007 that were in horrible shape including the soles falling off. When we picked them up today we were shocked as they looked brand new!!! Looking forward to a more comfortable boot as they also stretched them plus got a new pair of high qualty wool socks. The staff at this store goes out of their way to be helpful. I LOVE my Red Wing Boots but they had become a bit tight on me. On a visit to have the boots maintained, I asked if anything could be done to stretch the width and they were up to the challenge. Staff worked on them over the weekend and did get them to stretch a bit. I am grateful and back to enjoying my favorite work boots again. So I recently shopped at the Red Wing Store in west Pheonix and the clerk said refund in 30 days no matter what. Well I decided that the shoes I purchased were too heavy wore for two days. When I took them back Ruby the associate who originally sold me the shoes for 163$ now tells me that the shoes I paid for are not covered by the unconditional warranty Worx brand is sold in their store but they don't stand behind the product now I have 165$ shoes I have no need for all I wanted was a exchange for a more comfortable pair.
