Poor service horrible sale and bad return polices Bought shoes at 9503 Research Blvd store had to bring back 1st pair due to ill fitting shoes with the inserts I bought the salesperson told me would help in comfort. No it did not... brought those shoes back promptly as I needed shoes that did not hurt my legs, back, and feet as these shoes did. They took those back and I was told I had up to a year if the new shoe and more expensive inserts "were really the only way to go", still hurt my feet, "as a trade in", since they already took back the 1st pair. It took me a month to get back to store because I work and my schedule did not meet with theirs before I came I called and was again told I could trade them in over the phone I brought the 2nd pair back to store fully prepared to pay the off set price (because the 2nd pair hurt just the same as the 1st pair) the salesperson this time told me it was the soft heal insert I put under their 2nd pair of inserts at much more expensive inserts (I bought had them special fitted for my feet) explains to me it's not their shoes I told the person the shoe were ill fitting and I found the 2nd insert to remove most of the discomfort I have with the shoes but by the end of my 12 HOUR shift the shoes caused excruciating pain. I was told it's not their problem I need to remove the second insert and I would be able to wear their shoes in a way it would not hurt my feet. I said I f that were the case I would not have put it there. They would not take the shoes back it has been past their "30day policy". 1. Up selling in this store is a must be prepared for the lies to flow. They do not know a thing about real work and a good fit in a shoe. 2. Keep in mind the lies don't stop there they will blame you for your attempting to salvage your own feet from the hell they sell. 3. You're better off buying shoes from a second hand flea market stand outside the flea market. NOT RED WING. Beware of this store and the horrible shoes sold I would have not given this store a one star but to post this and warn other people who work for a living! I had to rate the dump

Great costumer service and quality work boots .Last ones I had lasted over 2 years in Electrical construction.

To me what's on offer here is the privilege of being fitted and advised by experienced staff, and the ability to have boots re-soled on equipment originally used to manufacture my boots.

Good day, Wanted to…read morereach out and share my experience on a release by Sneaker Politics. There was an Air Max 95 Bandana Release on Saturday, during SXSW on 3/14. I got to the store at 9:30am and was greeted by a gentleman (smaller black guy with shades), who gave me the details of how the release was going to work. He granted me a wristband that had #3 on it. Door opened at 11 and majority of people got wristbands and lined up. Everyone lined up according to their numbers on their wristbands. With me being #3, I entered the store and bought the releases. I understand that it's a release, so I do understand one per person. When I walked out there was a Hispanic male outside who worked with the store giving out wristbands. I wanted to get my daughter a pair, so I asked could I get back in line grab another. The line was really long. I grabbed another wristband and was #76. I was told from that Hispanic male that o could get another but I had to go to the back of the line, which is what I did. I waited and waited until my turn. The line grew longer behind me. When I reached the registered, the same gentleman (black guy with braids) who checked me out the first time said I couldn't get about pair until everyone got a pair. He said if I wanted another pair then I needed to get out the store and wait back in line (which is what I did the second time and was #76). I showed him my green #76 wristband and he rudely said i needed to get back in line again to get another pair. I was not trying to argue, so I told him I'd do that but this was wrong. I was disappointed. The black guy in braids stated that he was the manager and there was nothing I could do to get another pair right then and there. I told him the guy with the wristbands said I couldn't get back in line. He said "the guy outside with the wristbands is a part time guy who doesn't matter to the store." He's not the manager, I am the guy to make the decisions." He was very rude! I walked out and got back in line AGAIN! When I got back in line, there were others who had got back in line who were in front of me and waited twice while it was my third time to wait in line for a 2nd pair. The line was long. A few guys had bags in front of me. Just made me feel upset and targeted. The line moved and I was now one guy away from the register. The guy in front of me also had a bag and pair in his hand that he bought earlier. But he didn't wait 3 times like me. When it was my turn, I told the managers in braids, "am I good now because I waited." He laughed and said he was the manager again. He gave me a speech about how he makes the calls and that I got the pair I needed. He said, "you got the pair you needed, right?" Very rude, while laughing, and it felt like he was really making fun of me. He then used profanity and mentioned that he needed to make his living. "You're not going to fucking stop me from making my money, you got your pair didn't you?" I didn't say anything, then I kindly mentioned I'm not going to argue, I just want to make a purchase and leave. He gave me my pair and checked me out. I kindly reached over to shake his hand or give him a dap. He laughed at me and didn't bother shaking my hand, so that's when I left. My experience with Sneaker Politics was very disappointing. All the other employees were great until I reached that gentleman. Very unprofessional, laughed at me, used profanity, and I'm sure he didn't have that conversation like that with other customers. I felt dumb and targeted but thankful I got me and my daughter a pair!

I stopped by on a whim and found the sneakers I was looking for, and snagged the last pair in my…read moresize. Staff were friendly and the overall ambiance was chill without being dull or overwhelming. Typical retail prices are to be expected, nothing too crazy. That said, I wish they would carry more unisex footwear in smaller sizes. I typically wear 6 women's and 4/4.5 in big kids. I prefer the latter due to better color-way variations. Solid spot to check out and try on the latest footwear.

My first attempt was a failure because I had to go to the bathroom urgently and they don't have one. I rushed to the La Condesa restaurant across the street who were kind enough to let me use theirs. I returned to the store and spent my sweet time picking out options. One of the things that caught me eye ended up being a top, not a skirt. Since I was there solo, and carrying a lot of my own stuff, I asked the fitting room attendant if he could help me if sizes weren't wrong. He did this two separate times and was lovely throughout the whole experience! I decided to go with a different top as the one pictured, and in the wrong size, but I needed that denim crop. I'l probably eventually sell it but the green skirt is going to be one of my new staples for sure The other store attendant who helped me with the shirt/not a skirt debacle ended up being the one at the cash register and gave me a big shopping tote to fit my new clothes, and the personal belongings I couldn't fit inside my North Face backpack.

Used to love this place for style at high quality and reasonable-ish prices with great clearance…read moreoffers. However after seeing strings loose, broken zippers and thinner materials- they have really lost the quality of what I expected. Staff has always been helpful in my experience but perhaps a bit distracted at times.
