$3 inari sushi in Vancouver! Stumbled upon this place while walking in Yaletown. They're currently in soft opening phase & I was impressed by their inari selection. It comes loaded with your choice of protein. I got the chop chop scallop, spicy tuna, unagi eel and aburi salmon (they torch it in front of you). Lots of other choices too. They were delicious and I would go back. They even have happy hour 20% off after 8pm! Worth checking out!

New spot in Yaletown that serves up delicious Inari pockets and rolls! I came by after a friend recommended and realized that they have happy hour from 8-10pm, which is 20% off their regular price. For only $3.15 a piece, this place is affordable and delicious. I got the scallop, spicy salmon, and unagi inari pockets. All of them were flavourful and delicious, and the staff were so kind! Theres counter seating indoors and patio seating outdoors which is perfect for people watching or relaxing while eating. The staff even came outside to bring us water! This will be one of my new regular spots :)

I heard the opened recently so I went to try. I think it was the owner who spoke to me and introduced all the different types of inari sushi. He told me it was $3 each but when I got to the cashier they said it was $3.15 each. The aburi ones were the best and the stuffing was a good amount.

i discovered this new sushi/inari place as i walked by. The restaurant just soft opened on monday Jun 16 and ran by a really sweet and nice couple. I tried their salmon, beef and chicken inari and they have happy hour after 8pm. Very impressed and enjoyed the raw salmon inari. but the sauce on the chicken didnt quite stand out from the sweetness of the inari skin. Likely because it is very new, there were no signs or labels on the items which made it a little challenging to order. But overall, i enjoyed the inari and will return to try again when they have settled

Amazing hole in the wall offering 20 different flavours of giant Inari pockets. They are bigger and more filling than you realize - J ordered 5 and should have ordered at most 4. Super delicious and pretty quick service. I had three diff kinds of salmon - chopped, Aburi, spicy plus unagi and seaweed - and they were all really awesome. Amazing combination of convenience, great taste, great price. This kind of place is why I love Vancouver!

Great spot for inari! New spot in Yaletown. Service is friendly and quick. I decided to try 3 and they were all good: salmon, bulgogi beef and scallop. They were $3 each and were quite filling with the rice inside. Appreciated the sriracha mayo at the restaurant as well.

Salmon tuna Unagi and tuna bowl only a bit over $20

Good flavors - had the Unagi, the Hawaiian Ahi and the Aburi Salmon. The issue was the rice was on the hard side. 6:30 on a Tuesday

I appreciated this and would much prefer this over expecting to have a table than being disappointed. We got lucky though and were able to get seated right around 9. Service was very prompt and we were able to order, eat, and get out of the restaurant pretty quickly. Overall great experience even though I didn't absolutely love everything we ordered House roll: 3/5 this was ok. It sounded good initially but I think there was just too much going on Spicy chopped scallop roll: 4/5 presentation wasn't the best but it still tasted good Red dynamite roll: 5/5 their most popular roll for good reason. I would def recommend this one Salmon and tuna nigiri: 5/5 I liked both a lot and this perfectly scratched the itch for my sushi craving

I counted maybe 36 seats. The interior is nice but generic enough to be just about any type of restaurant. The menu accessed via QR code. I ended up trying the following: - Assorted Tempura: Good. Light batter, but slightly overbrowned. - Miso Black Cod: Good. More elaborate presentation than most, but very small piece. - Salmon Belly Sashimi: Very good. Fresh and delicious. - Tom Special Roll Tray: Very good. A great way to sample all the different roll, all which are very good. I thought it was reasonably priced and could adequately feed 4 people. Service was very good. There are a LOT of staff, so we were constantly being checked on to make sure we were happy and got anything we needed. Overall a good meal. It doesn't classify as the best sushi in Vancouver, but I can see the quality-value ratio might be the best in the city. All the food was quite good and certainly not overpriced. I imagine the high staff count was due to the overwhelming amount of takeout orders. I would return.

My hubs and I vacationed in Vancouver a few weeks ago in late April. We had seen the long lines for dinner at Saku when we were here more than a year ago. So, we decided to give them a try for a late lunch around 2pm on a Wednesday afternoon. No wait. We got seated right away. We liked how spacious and airy the dining room was. Our wait staff were friendly and on point. They were considerate about answering our questions about the food and food allergies. I ordered the chicken thigh katsu ($26 Can) and my hubs got the chicken thigh curry ($28.50 Can). No dairy involved in either dish which I was happy about because I have challenges digesting milk protein. Yes, it's kinda pricey. Yes, it's totally worth it. The katsu is light, crispy, fried perfectly, not greasy, and comes with unlimited rice, miso soup, finely chopped cabbage salad, and an addictively delicious sesame dressing. My hubs' curry sauce was served on the side so he could pour out as much or as little as he wanted. All in all, it was a very pleasant and satisfying meal. Saku is top notch for katsu. You won't believe how good katsu can be until you try it.

Okeya Kyujiro is a Michelin one-star theatrical omakase restaurant, and when they say theatrical, they mean it! From the moment you're welcomed by smiling ushers in kimono to the closing tea ceremony, every movement feels intentional, precise, and elevated. The ambiance is serene and anticipatory. At the start, guests sit in silence as a black screen conceals the chefs. You see their shadows moving behind it. A bell rings, the screen lifts, and the performance begins. Dinner is a 25+ course experience priced at $325 per person. It's undeniably a splurge, but for a milestone celebration, it feels justified. The menu is seafood-forward, with many ingredients flown in from Japan. Each ingredient is presented before preparation, then carefully assembled and served directly from chef to guest. Courses arrive one by one, never rushed. The service team moves seamlessly in the background, refilling water and attending to drinks (available as an add-on) without disrupting the flow. The finale is a matcha ceremony, whisked in front of you with the same quiet precision that defines the evening. When the final sip is taken, the bell chimes once more, the chefs and staff bow, and the screens close. It was a beautifully choreographed dining experience, perfect for marking a special moment, and one I'd gladly return to for the next celebration.

Service was really amazing with servers explaining each dish and drinks were always topped off…read more Food was good, but maybe this isn't quite my style of omakase compared to the other ones I've tried. This is a more theatrical style so expect louder music and a more theatrical experience (eg one of the servers played the flute for the guests celebrating birthdays). I prefer a more intimidate and interactive style of omakase where you can talk with the chefs. This lunch also felt a little fast in terms of progression of the meal. Some of the dishes were very tasty while others didn't wow us. With drinks, we were quite full despite some reviews saying portion is on the smaller size. Our total was around $500 with drinks for 2 people. A really good experience for omakase, especially if you are looking for a unique experience though not my favourite one I've tried.
