My 12/22/25 review is legitimate and honest, and I would love to know what Yelp considers a real and true review when so many reviews are hidden. I HIGHLY recommend this pool builder. Mario and his team go above and beyond and Mario is always accessible and very easy to work with. His crews are respectful, keep the job site clean, and show up on time. and the work they do is top notch. Of the 5 bids we got, Mario's was not only competitive but much lower than 3 of the other pool builders. Communication, Technical, and punctuality/Speed are the 3 qualities worth mentioning for Mario and his crew. Context: I had 2 of my pools renovated to go from plaster to pebble-tech. I had done similar projects in the past. I talked 4 different companies and chose RedRock. * Communication: Out of 4 companies, Mario was the first one to respond (within 30 minutes of messaging him). Not only that he continuously followed up and answered all of my tedious questions. Throughout the projects, I never felt like I was out of the loop and he constantly messaged and called me to update me on what's going on. * Technical: For one of the pools, we ran into a big issue while chipping. I could see the dirt!! It was a poor patching job from the past... Uh Oh! However, Mario didn't spare a second to come up with a solution and pulled in all the right people. (And I did fair share of research to understand the proposed method was the right remedy and it sure was + reasonable pricing). He exactly knew what needed to happen and had a number of experts came to see it and aligned on solutions. This literally only added 3 days to the total project. * Speed/Punctuality: I told Mario I have a tight timeline. (10 days) He was honest about the risk but projected a good confidence. For the first pool, it actually didn't even take a week. For the second one with the concrete issue also completed with a day to spare. They started on time and they strove to get it done BEFORE the due date. The secret sauce Mario has is his network. Unlike many shops in town, his crews + extended family can run the whole operations from chipping, plastering to concrete work. This was the key for him to be able to do these projects much faster and with a higher quality. Long story short, I STRONGLY recommend Mario and his crew and I won't hesitate to do another project with him. read more

He showed up on time at the allotted time to discuss the project details, offering recommendations for improving the remodel we had envisioned. During the entire project, Mario remained in consistent contact with me, making any changes requested, but most importantly, making sure the job was done correctly. Living in Camp Verde, color me skeptical to hire a Phoenix company to completely refurbish my 18 year old pool. After bidding the project out with Yelp's help I went with Red Rock. The proprietor, Mario, insisted that he come up and survey the lay of the land before he bid. All others were willing to bid sight unseen. I'm highly impressed with the different crews assigned to the project. Total professionalism is an understatement. Mario had the acre and a half property scoped out so there was no logistical confusion. Efficiency, respect, craftsmanship, pride, synchronization, politeness and consideration are terms I would use to describe the entire process. But most importantly, the communication from Mario was impeccable. No surprises!!! My pool and surrounding area look amazing. I highly recommend this company. They were fair and honest.
