Such a nice patio! Good drinks - food looked awesome but didn't eat. Grills working were super sweet!

Tavern 4 & 5 - Thai chicken lettuce wraps April 2026

Spacious and delicious! In addition, there's a massive parking lot which takes away from 99.9% of…read morestress as it relates to parking. We dined in at Tavern 4&5 with a large group to celebrate a birthday. Reservations were made in advance and our table got seated quickly upon arrival. Similar to any tavern, the dining in experience is laid back and casual. You do not need to be dressed up by any measure to eat here. The menu is robust and I had a difficult time choosing as every item sounded great. A few members in our party had been here before and recommended the Thai chicken lettuce wraps off the appetizer menu and they did not disappoint. It was very fresh and I could tell it wasn't sitting under a heat lamp. For my main entree, I got the Chicken Yum Yum which is a bowl with fried chicken, ginger soy sauce, coconut fried rice, mushrooms, edamame, egg, green onions, sesame seeds and yum yum sauce. It was nice to be able to find an Oriental meal at a tavern. Our service was excellent for having such a large party and I felt as if the prices were reasonable. Looking ahead, I can't wait to return as there's so many other great items that I hope to try including the sweet chili cauliflower appetizer, tator tots and harvest apple salad. Thank you, Tavern 4&5!!

Ordered the chili lime shrimp salad. Comes with 6 pieces of grilled shrimp on top of greens, avocado, tortilla strips. Overall great salad but we noticed the portion size is smaller. Also tried the grilled chicken grain bowl. Comes with grilled chicken, steamed green beans, greens, and quinoa. Dressing is a sweet plum sauce. It was decent but pricey at $23. The star of our lunch was the key lime dessert. More like a deconstructed pie but huge and so good! Restaurant was busy, service was mediocre, bathroom is clean. Large shared parking lot

Please go here as the food, service, and atmosphere is great…read more FYI there is a lot of parking behind the building but you can also do street parking. I usually recommend a reservation for Pink Ivy as during dinner rush it always seems full. I have had so many great meals here. I am usually a meat and potatoes kind of person but the salmon here is great. Also as much as I dislike vegetables they actually have ones I order. As much as the food is always been great. The staff has also been wonderful. They are knowledgeable and friendly and really make a difference. Atmosphere can change from time to time. As busy restaurants nights are always going to have that buzz but in a good way. As the busy night calms into late evening there is this different nice smooth feeling that comes over the place. Lastly this place introduced me to a new drink. The Carajillo. In my opinion it's a better version of the Espresso Martini as it's a bit sweeter.

This ended up being a really solid stop and definitely a step above your typical casual spot…read more The decor is super cute with a pink and green aesthetic--kind of mint and bubblegum tones--and it gives the whole place a fun but still cozy feel. I somehow showed up wearing green without even planning it, so I accidentally matched the vibe which made it even better. The atmosphere overall feels clean, modern, and relaxed without being over the top. It works really well for a casual lunch or a low-key date where you still want something a little nicer. We tried a few different things, and everything was well done. The burger was juicy with a good melt on the cheese and a soft bun that held together nicely. Simple, but done right. The side salad was fresh and actually had flavor instead of just being there. The meatballs were a standout--really tender and covered in a rich, creamy sauce that made the dish feel more elevated. The mussels were also great, and the broth was flavorful enough that dipping the grilled bread in it was a must. Nothing felt like a miss, and everything had a little extra attention to detail. Also our server was very nice and kind I liked her. Overall, I'd come back. It's not super fancy, but it feels like a step up from your usual spots and is a great option if you want something cute, relaxed, and still really solid.

My wife and I went mid Wednesday afternoon for a happy hour with their date night special. Here's…read moremy overall ratings of what we ordered. Cheese curds - 8.5/10 Really good center and sauce, needed more breading and crunch on the exterior to match the quality of the state fair. Burger - 7/10 Solid for a pub burger, bun slightly more charred than I like, inner bites better than edges. To be fair, I'm realizing that a pub burger has a lower ceiling than a good smash burger so you know my preferences. Parlour and Five Guys are 10's to me. Fries - 8/10 Extra crispy, pretty good but somehow lacking the same flavor of other places like Bon Chon or Spitz that also use the double fry/heavy batter method. Stir Fry Bowl - 6.5/10 - very soy forward and salty, reminds me of a wok place where you walk up and choose your ingredients. Could have used less sauce or maybe sub for teriyaki Chocolate Lava Cake - 9/10 Delicious! Perfect ratio of cake to ice cream and whipped cream. Quality ice cream and great way to end the meal. Service and atmosphere were great. Certainly a bonus to use their date night deal which I think was an app, two entree, and dessert for $40.

so this place is an institution in the Glen Lake area. i remember when it was a much smaller place…read morethat served up sodas and beers in frosted mugs. honestly the vibe back then was even better imo. food here is pretty good. they have a solid variety of burgers and other options. it's a good place to go with friends/family, also solo as i've done at the bar a few times. the reason i don't give a higher rating is i feel the place kind of phones it in on weeknights, which is a shame. i try to cut the staff a break because a) props to anyone in the service industry and b) i can understand how they would want to close on time, if not early if/when they're able to on slower nights my bone to pick with the above is that because their close time is open ended on weeknights, it's not always clear how long they'll be open. they run two happy hours, including from 8pm to close. this includes food. as someone who sometimes works later myself (retail, baby!), a later night HH with food is ideal. unfortunately, a couple of times i've arrived after 9pm and been told the kitchen is closed and they're on last call. they're "supposed" to go til 10pm. i realize i may be splitting hairs, but i also think if they wanted to create a more customer friendly vibe, they would go out of their way to stay open. Beckett's in uptown and Meteor Bar in Northeast are great examples of bars, both with food, that consistently go later no matter what. granted they are both in Minneapolis, so different customer base. come here, support this local establishment! they are good, just not great though they could be!! p.s. yes i am writing this from the bar, and just an update: my bill confirmed their happy hour is NOT running tonight. :/ granted the bartender never said there was happy hour and those menus weren't out, so i suspected as much. but i came for the happy hour, including food, and got neither. first world problems for sure!

I got the shrimp and corn bread and fried kale. I've never had fried kale but it was SO good! My boyfriend got a burger and said it wasn't life changing, but it was definitely a solid burger. The waitress informed us that the menu would be changing soon! Looking forward to seeing what other delicious options they can come up with! I will say, I tried the crab dip and it just tasted too fishy... and I love seafood! The food here overall surprised us though, we definitely thought it wasn't going to be that great for a mini golf place! We were wrong! As for golfing here, WHAT A BLAST! We did all 4 courses! That took us about 2 hours during a time where it was not busy. The great news about this place is you do not need to play the holes in order! Heck, the people in your party don't have to play in order either! So if someone is in the bathroom, just keep going! Everyone is assigned a ball and the ball keeps track of your score! This place is beautiful! It is well maintained! The service here was decent. No one seemed to be going out of their way and they all just looked bored...may be because it was a slow night? (Thursday). Overall we had an absolute BLAST and I would happily come back!!

It is modern and spacious inside, plenty of room for large groups or parties. It seemed to be the theme as there were several corporate parties going on. We started with an appetizer buffet - nothing outstanding, but all the usual pub appetizers were pretty good. None of us left hungry. Our server got our drinks out quickly and she was friendly as well. At a certain point, she ushered us over to one of the putting areas and gave us the lowdown on what to do, etc. It was nice that our server was the same person leading us into the putting area - no weird "where do we go, I don't know, let's ask someone" stuff. We had fun. I defs recommend for a fun work event.
