Clean restrooms, slow business and very nice staff. Waitress, Lynn (spelling) was very nice and on point. Brought our biscuits, took our drink order, brought us our drinks and took our order! Ordered an appetizer, crab queso, and I ordered the Ultimate feast and wife ordered surf and turf (medium on steak). 10 minutes later waitress tells us that they are out of tortilla chips and wondered if we wanted anything else, no we didn't. How does a restaurant run out of tortilla chips (damn it chest and have someone run to Gordon's). That was the start of all the failures! Meals came out, steak was rare, waitress took it back, then we found the rest. The lobster (both of ours) was not thoroughly cooked, potatoes were not even warm enough to melt the butter, my crab legs were barely warm to the touch. Drinks were good! Couldn't talk to manager because he was on a conference call! So waitress comped everything and we left! Would not recommend this place to anybody! Do not believe we will return for long time. read more

Visiting family, stopped in for lunch, haven't been to a R L in a long while, wife had fish & chips & I had flounder sandwich, DELICIOUS, portions were huge, (to much food) not complaining, cooked perfectly. Service was great, building a little dated, but clean & comfortable. Recommend stopping in & getting a good meal. read more

This was a terrible experience. Waited on average 30+ mins for food. Then waited 20 mins for dessert. This was a bad experience overall.

Food was mediocre, waiter service was very good. There must be an issue with cook(s) ? Both of the last two times we were there 1 hour, first visit, and 50 minutes, second visit. Both visits within three weeks. Way too long to wait for mediocre food at a fairly high price. Sorry, We won't be returning. read more

I just took my wife there for her birthday and we walked in and no one in the front so we stood there five or ten minutes until someone came and seated us. The server was nice and did a good job but we waited an hour and five minutes for our food after ordering, and there were only about ten customers in the whole store, very unreasonable for a not busy place on a Saturday afternoon. My shrimp was overcooked and cold as was my rice. The baked potato I ordered with sour cream and butter had no butter and was also cold, however I almost burned my hand when I touched the plate! The wife warned me the womens restroom was dirty and when I visited the men's restroom it was filthy as well with pieces of toilet paper scattered on the floor along with a pile of wet paper towels and an unflushed toilet. The manager was either on vacation or needs fired or the owner is too rich to care. Worst Red Lobster experience ever. read more

Went on a weekday dinner, dine in. Not busy at all, but there seemed to be plenty of servers. Could have been better, could have been worse. Service was ok, not spectacular, though the couple that came in shortly after us might disagree, as they picked up and left after approx. 10-15 minutes of being ignored/overlooked. This place is sort of off the "beaten trail" here in Springfield, just off of Bechtle, and easy to miss if you're not familiar with the area. I was in the mood for seafood (PLUS had a gift card!!) and had a reasonably good, if slightly unforgettable meal (lobster/langostino pizza app) and a VERY good bowl of lobster bisque, while the Mr. had fair to average fish and chips. Reasonable pricing, acceptable service, but I kept thinking about better options we COULD have had if we had gone elsewhere. Do you remember when you were a kid, and Dad would come home from work and yell, let's go out to Red Lobster! My brothers and I went nuts. We would get cleaned up like we were going to the fanciest 5 Michelin Star restaurant! Che Rouge Lobster'. Glad I have the memories. Today marks the last time I will eat at that food joint. The salmon was great, but that is hard to screw up. The shrimp, the lobster was obviously frozen and had some weird black stuff on it. Both were chewy and tasted nothing like the crustaceans they could have been. Farewell to the Lobster, but thank goodness for the memories mom and dad left us. read more

The Red Lobster in Springfield nailed it on my first visit. I've found a new favorite in miso salmon bowl with awesome Brussels sprouts and those cheddar bay biscuits are timeless. Both the quality and speed of service were top notch and this was as clean as any other Red Lobster I've ever visited. I like the option of paying at the table kiosk. The draft beer section is a little lacking and Red Lobster has always been a little on the pricey side but it's good to know that the experience is the same no matter which location you visit. read more

Extremely over priced Gordon's Food/ Sysco frozen food. I have traveled all over this country and ate at multiple seafood restaurants and Red Lobster is at the bottom of my list. The food is overpriced for the quality. If it weren't for the fact that i had a coupon and was craving seafood I wouldn't of wasted the time. read more

It was my first time at this Red Lobster and from the moment we walked it the service was amazing. We were greeted by out hostess and as we sat down our server Taylor was ready to get our drinks. After spending a few minutes to decide I ordered the harbor baked lobster with the lobster biscuit. As we waited for our meals they brought out the fresh baked biscuits with the soup. The entree was well prepared and the service throughout the mea was excellent. I watched the staff work as a team cleaning the tables, bringing out the food and follow up during the meal. The experience was great as I decided to come back the following evening. read more

It's Red Lobster. Simply put, you know what you're getting into. You either like it, or you don't. Like most chains, the service is often dependent on call offs, customer flow, & management... so quality can fluctuate dependent on your timing. That said, I've rarely had a bad experience at this location. The wait is almost always non-existent, they've always kept me in biscuits, & whether by myself or in a group with kids, the wait staff has been very helpful. read more

Grandson had crab legs - during the meal he said they tasted funny. His mom said go ahead and eat them. He ate a couple and said he wasn't hungry. Took the rest home. I tried one after he got them home (10 Minues) and they were terrible. Menu price was 25.00 plus an adder for changing from Dungeness Crab to King Crab legs - 30 dollars, they were terrible and were only 6 legs. For 5 dollars a leg should have been a lot better. The absolute best meal I have ever had. Endless shrimp was great. Baked potato and green beans fantastic. The teriyaki shrimp was better than I could imagine. I don't really like to try new things when I eat out, but this was worth the risk. This restaurant isn't my favorite but it was my fiancée's birthday so that's where we went. I throughly enjoyed everything. I recommend the endless shrimp, it's definitely worth it. read more

I've eaten at this place twice this week while I was in town on business. The thing I appreciate most here is the service. In both instances, the hostess and the waitresses were pleasant and attentive. And on both occasions the manager stopped by my table to inquire if everything was satisfactory. I spend a lot of time on the road eating at a variety of restaurants, and I would put the service here in the top tier. The prices are a little on the high side, and the portions a little skimpy, but I'll pay a premium for top rate service any time. read more

I was in Springfield for a family funeral and Red Lobster was chosen for a luncheon reception after. We had 16 adults and the restaurant provided two very caring and attentive servers to take care of us. Most of the Red Lobsters have closed in SCAL, so I was thrilled and comforted to be able to eat cheese biscuits and drink refreshing Sea Glass Chardonnay. All the food was delicious and severed in a timely manner. I am glad Red Lobster was there to provide my family the opportunity to reminisce and grieve together during this difficult time. read more
