We ordered 1 1/2 lbs of Dungeness crab, each. It was SO good and fresh. Wished we weren't on a time crunch so we could enjoy every morsel. This was the first Red Lobster we went to that even had Dungeness crab on the menu. I love their caramel appletini and it was no longer listed on the menu. However, Lacey check with the bartender and they were able to make one! 10/7/2020 update We have an hour to spare before my X-ray appt., so decided to have dinner here. (We were at Lowe's).. Server was attentive and efficient! We both got the white fried fish and Walts favorite shrimp. Everything was good except for the tartar sauce. Bummer, the fish was really moist and not oily, but when I dipped it into the tartar sauce, it was sweet?!? First thought it was the breading, but it was the tartar sauce. Good thing we had ketchup. They were quick to seat us because barely anyone was inside eating. This didn't detour us because it was a Wednesday night and we didn't think anything of it. We ordered the create your own feast; snow crab legs, steak, 2 orders of coconut shrimp, with a side of mashed potatoes and seasoned broccoli. Nothing came as expected. The crab legs were the so skinny the entire entre was a total of maybe 2 actual bites of crab. We got medium rare steak that came as well done and dry. The shrimp looked and tasted frozen and the coconut sauce came on the side tasting more sour then coconutty. The mashed potatoes were somehow jiggly and dry, but they tasted okay. The broccoli wasn't even seasoned with salt. No one asked me if I wanted a refill on my drink after I'd finished it before the food came out, they offered water which wasn't free, so I would've preferred a drink if I'm paying for it anyway. No need to mention the brick biscuits. Best part of the meal was the Mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, and those were 15$. Overall it was a disappointing birthday dinner, neither my bf or I had been to a red lobster in years and we will never be returning. read more

We visited Red Lobster the other night. They were somewhat busy but we are seated right away. Our waiter Dallas was wonderful, friendly and extremely attentive. The food was excellent and filling, service was exceptional. But the best part of the entire dining experience was the Manager named Laticia. She was fantastic. Right off the bat she welcomed us and was so friendly and welcoming. We were actually celebrating buying a new house and she was so excited for us. After dinner she even brought us a free dessert with a candle in it to celebrate. She was the kind of person that left us feeling we had made a new friend. I always use OpenTable to make reservations and I usually show up a minute or two early, and this last visit they must have taken notice and decided to sit me with their best of the best servers. OGNat (short for Natalie) was a complete pleasure to be served by. She was upbeat and attentive. She made the regular Red Lobster experience rise above the typical visit. I felt like I was at a very pricey Steakhouse with her skill and ability to just keep coming back to the table with knockout suggestions and help. I had just completed a 8.5 mile hike a mountain to see a waterfall in the middle of the wilderness in Reno. So I was thirsty. She must have refilled my iced tea about 5 times. What a champion. She made everything we ordered seem special. She claimed to want to serve people the way she'd prefer to be served should she ever decide to partake in a dinner and WOW, she really made me feel extremely extraordinary. OGNat also informed us that some people weren't too appreciative of her name tag. Weak sauce, anyone who can dish out the capitol service like her can have a nametag that sports expletives as far as my opinion goes. Most of the time when I come in and I ask for some Lemon with my coconut shrimp it doesn't come out or is forgotten in the rush and bustle of being a server. Nothing wrong with that. They are busy there so I get it. But OGNat was on it. She is Queen of making it awesome there. I was very pleased to learn that she also trains other employees in the art of being a server. What can I say about Red Lobster. They're a chain of seafood restaurants. They are not bad ... not gourmet ... but pretty good. I personally love the Coconut Shrimp. Years ago my daughter in law used to work at a Red Lobster and I tried the Lobster Tail .. not New England, but wasn't bad. They have daily $15 deals. My sister enjoyed the trout and don't forget their famous biscuits. I could have appetizers and biscuits, a glass of wine and be done with my meal. Husband just had knee surgery and I've been running around taking care of him, so I thought I'd give myself a treat, as well as, save myself some time and energy by ordering online and having it delivered. I attempted to use the Red Lobster app on my phone, as I have done previously. Now I've just spent over an hour attempting to order two dinners on the Red Lobster app. First, it didn't like my email address, then it didn't like my password, so I attempted to reset my password. I reset my password and it refused to accept my reset password. I tried to check out as a guest and it wanted me to create a profile. Since I already have a profile it wouldn't accept a new profile. (talk about being an online ordering App hell) After playing with their app for almost 45 minutes, it finally got me to the point where I placed my order for delivery, including deliver fee of $4.99. Of course my Apple Pay didn't work and I had to use another credit card. When my final receipt comes up, it shows that I'm picking up, not even at the designated time I selected, and there is no delivery listed. So I called the restaurant number, as advised on my receipt, and I'm told by the manager the only way to correct this is to cancel my order that shows I'm picking it up and re-order online with delivery. Are you kidding me? After what I've gone through this is the best you can offer? The employee I spoke with, wChris, did offer to bring it out to my car when I show up to pick it up. He apologized profusely, even though the app isn't his problem, but his manager obviously doesn't have the skills to be doing a customer service job. We had an appointment near here just after lunch and decided to try this Red Lobster. While all you can eat shrimp selections were very tempting, we knew we don't have the appetite to eat all that. Instead we selected flounder baked and shrimp scampi on the lunch menu. Sides were rice and crispy brussel sprouts. Lunch menu in general were good value. Brussel sprouts side cost premium but they were nice additions. Flounder was tender and quite a few shrimps in the lunch menu shrimp scampi. It were with rice very well. This was our first visit to a red lobster as we do not have one at home. We had the best waitress ever!! She was amazing, so friendly and very attentive. I'm so disappointed that I didn't get her name! But she was middle age and Hispanic. When I told her we were from Maui, she wanted to come home with me and cook me Mexican food. I told her I love Mexican food. Our food was also fabulous. My husband had the lobster lover's dream that he really enjoyed and I had the New York steak that was cook perfectly. My boyfriend and I decided to go here because we went with his family and I was pretty impressed with what I got. I ended up ordering their special where you can choose two items for 20 or 30 dollars. I can't really remember the price but it was one of those two. The amount of food I got was pretty decent but it tasted good. My boyfriend ended up ordering the ultimate surf & turf which came with 6oz. Filet mignon, bacon-wrapped scallops, lobster tail, and two sides. It was definitely a lot of food and he enjoyed it. It been over 3 years since I have come to Red Lobster, because that time the experience was so bad, I thought I'd never go back. But those darn Lobsterfest commercials got the best of me and I had a $20, gift card for the place so why not. This time I sat in the bar area, and my experience was much better. By far the best service I have ever received in any restaurant ever before. Colin had the best personality and humor. He was incredibly attentive and pretty much knew what we wanted before we did. Colin gave helpful hints for my sister to crack and eat her crab legs and removed our empty plates as we were done to make sure there was always room for more(endless shrimp). When we were walking away from our table, he made it a point to thank us for coming in. I'm hoping this goes directly to this location because he needs a raise or a promotion. Bought into the "Lobsterfest" Week as seen on tv. Another nice chain restaurant in Reno. You can expect consistency and a standardized "Yum" throughout. For starters we had the Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms. The cheese overrides the seafood, but it was good. Dunk those cheesy garlic biscuits in the sauce and you're in for a treat. For dinner I had the Southwest tacos with shrimp. The jalapeno ranch was a nice add to the tacos. Large portions. Took 2 of the three home for next day's lunch. Service was spot on with the food being served timely. Wait staff is friendly and helpful. For an early dinner, the restaurant was not crowded. Clean, accessible. The casinos have pretty much locked up the seafood restaurant options in Reno. There are a few others around, but with limited menus. If you don't want to brave the parking and walking through a casino Red Lobster is about the only one out there, and we hadn't been there in years. Nice building with easy parking and nice dining room of mostly booths, all decorated in a nautical theme of course. They even have a nice bar in the front which you don't see in every Red Lobster. It was a busy night. We were seated and later someone walked by and dropped off a basket of their biscuits. A little while later someone else dropped off some water. Finally the server arrived and introduced us to her trainee. Both were nice and friendly although a little tardy. We ordered some drinks and while waiting they came and took our order. My wife had her usual salmon, which she liked. I had a cup of the lobster bisque and some fried offerings (it was a splurge). Unfortunately the lobster in the bisque was puréed, every thing else I ordered was soggy and undercooked. Oh, and our drinks arrived after our food. So, nice place with nice ambiance, service was slow and spotty, food/drinks arrived out of order. Although my wife liked her dinner I did not. About $75 for two dinners and two drinks (including tip). It's still a fun place to go, but you can have a much better overall experience at any of the big resort seafood restaurants in Reno. read more

Omg I was craving lobster and I had a friend in town visiting, I decided to order the lobster trio or whatever it's called... I ordered online to pick up at 545 pm. I placed the order at 415pm. I dropped off my friend and went to go pick up this yummy lobster I was craving ( my mouth was watering) I was happy to be there and called the number that I was there! The gal brought out my order and f course I tipped already 6 bucks according to the tip survey! She brought my order to car and I said thank you. I looked a little further into the salad and omg, the lettuce was rancid!!! It was going to make me if I eat a very sick person!! I threw away and decided to look further into my meal and it looked great, unfortunately was completely cold so the Alfredo with shrimp was terrible! My lobster was so rubbery I couldn't believe it! I'm wondering if they didn't start my order when I ordered online at 4pm? The romaine of course would not have gone this bad in that time! I am so disappointed with Red Lobster that I can't even go further than to share my pics...my gawd people at least treat us well and try not to poison us!!! Arrived for lunch around 12pm during weekday. Service was on the slow side, but the waiter made up for that. Food was great, ordered the snow crab legs. Delicious delicious delicious! Came here for our anniversary last weekend and it was so good. They didn't accept reservations so we walked in expecting at least 1 hour of a wait. We only waited about 20 minutes before we got in. Our waiter Chan was incredible. He is so sweet and polite and definitely deserves a raise if you ask me. For appetizers we got the seafood stuffed mushrooms (omg so good) and the roasted Brussel spouts which was surprisingly yummy. I ordered the ultimate feast which was amazing! My husband ordered the coconut shrimps, it comes with a pina colada sauce with a side of lobster tail and it was very delicious. We were pleasantly surprised when eating at Red Lobster in Citrus Heights last week. Our previous trip, several years ago, was pitiful! It seemed like we were served frozen, microwaved fish! A few weeks ago, my sister in law posted on facebook that she & her hubby had recently gone for their anniversary. They were very pleased with the food, so we thought we'd give them another shot. My wife loves crab and red lobster is currently having their crab fest. We went for an early dinner with the expectation of ordering king crab. Their crab is not king crab, but a smaller variety. We each ordered that. Our waiter was very pleasant and efficient. The restaurant has a pleasing ambience. Typical of the chain environment. The crab was tasty and a decent value. We were craving seafood but how do you choose with so many restaurants? Well, while doing some research, we saw that it was Lobsterfest at Red Lobster and those entrees immediately caught our eye. So a decision was made that last night (4/3/18) we would be eating at Red Lobster. When we arrived there was a tank full of live Lobsters which was reassuring to see. We were immediately seated and we glanced over the menu. The decision was a difficult one for all the entrees looked delicious. Our server Justin G had a warm welcoming persona to him as he briefly went over the entrees for Lobsterfest. After we ordered, Justin brought out Red Lobster's famous Cheddar Bay Biscuits. I personally think this is one of my favorite bread services. Every bite is light and fluffy and that buttery bread just melts in your mouth. Our soup also made its way on our table as we each got lobster bisque. We also ordered seafood stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer (complimentary) through the rewards program. Those too were satisfying with every bite. After we finished our appetizers, a passing server was quick to take our finished plates away. Our entrees also made good time and we were in awe when it was presented to us. My friend got the Ultimate Feast and boy it had a bit of everything. I ordered the Lobsterfest Surf and Turf. One thing to note the images on the menu are fuller and more vibrant than the actual product. With that being said everything was still very tasty. If you're going to pay $25-30 for an entree, this is the way to go because at the end of the night, we were both full. Justin periodically came by to check up on us and even brought a second round of biscuits to us. The service was great (thank you Justin) and the food was there to match it. Wasn't going to this place for the Michelin star rating but after 5 plus minutes to be acknowledged/ seated with no one around and another 10 minute wait at the bar while listening to 4 or 5 employees giggling and chopping it up. Then to have 2 people overlapping each attempting to mind and the only other individual at the bar simultaneously seemed really unorganized. Then they hit you the surprise left and you are told several items on the menu special are not available today. Just wasn't gonna risk it at that point and abandoned ship. read more

This red lobster refused to set us in a booth because it was not after 4. All of the available seating was hard back chairs. Before 4 pm there are only 2 booths available. The manager was Abrupt and discourteous. Untill this abrupt and rude service we would eat here once or twice a month when we traveled for doctor appointments. NO MORE.
