I recently took my mom to Red Lobster as an early birthday gift b/c it's 1 of her all time faves. It turned out to be such a gr8 experience! From the moment we sat down, everything just felt easy & enjoyable. Haley was super,duper nice! We both ordered our go to order Shrimp Your Way(you pick 2 for $18.99,3 for $22.99, or 4 for $26.99): parrot Isle coconut shrimp(w/extra pina colada sauce b/c that sauce is incredible: creamy,slight sweet w/ chunks of pineapple)shrimp linguini Alfredo, & broccoli as the side.The food was absolutely delish! Everything was fresh, flavorful, & exactly what you hope for when you're craving good ol' Red Lobster. And of course, I can't not mention those good ol' cheddar bay biscuits...they were just as warm, buttery,& addictive as ever. We came during happy hour which made things even better. I treated my mom to a Long Island Iced Tea for only $5, which was such a nice surprise & a steal. She really enjoyed herself & that was the most important part for me. The restaurant had one large party half made up of children and a couple of smaller parties plus my party of three. Overall, it wasn't too busy for a Saturday afternoon at 2:30. We were greeted by the hostess who sat us promptly. Our waitress was great. However, the restaurant was not properly staffed. I'm guessing in the kitchen. My friend's steak was wrong and had to be sent back. My meal was shrimp Caesar salad ( ask for dressing on the side it's drenched) and my other friend had a larger platter with crab legs and lobster with some sides. The only employees I saw around were the one waitress, the person who greeted us, and one woman who came to ask how we were doing. At one point in the meal we asked to prepay our checks and get to go boxes as we were going to be late for our movie down the street. The meals were a long wait and my friend's steak ended up being wrong. The food was just alright, the employees did the best they could, but it seems the kitchen was pretty backed up. My friends precut their food and put it in to go boxed to eat at the movie theater. We were so late we had to catch the next showing. We were there probably for an hour and 20 minutes. Movie theater was two minutes down the road. Our waitress was great but there was some kind of breakdown that lead to the food coming out slow. read more

I hadn't been to Red Lobster in almost two years, as I was bummed to see the crab linguini Alfredo was discontinued. But after Sunday worship, my family and I decided to give it another try -- and I'm glad we did! The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were super friendly. Our waitress was attentive and made the experience even better. I tried the Lump Crab Carbonara, and the portion size was great. I'd love a bit more lump crab in it, but overall it was really tasty. I recommend ordering it without tomatoes -- it pairs perfectly with their watermelon and mango lemonade. My mom went for the Ultimate Feast, and it was generous and definitely worth the price. I haven't been to Red Lobster in a long time due to poor service, extremely long, wait time and the food was simply not good at the Red Lobster near me Rocky Hill . But we were in New Haven and my daughter talked me into going and stated that this way lobster in North Haven was better. To my surprise my dinner the Ultimate feast was perfect and my Peach Long Island Tea was just as amazing. Our server, Yarelyz, provided excellent service. She went above and beyond. Those that had regular drinks, never had to ask for refills. So now I know that I have to drive 29 miles when I'm craving Red Lobster. read more

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cozy and warm, it's perfect for any couples or families who want a relaxed experience while dining; however, some might find the dim lights a bit off putting in during the daytime. The entrees were of exceptional quality, and the grilled salmon is a personal favorite of mine. Unfortunately, they do tend to fall flat when it comes to their fried seafood options, which can taste somewhat too salty and overcooked. Our waitress, Tabitha, provided an amazingly wonderful experience. She was incredibly attentive to our needs, and provided exemplary service to our table. She always made sure everything was going great with our meals. The only thing that is a real downside is the pricing of their dishes. You won't find anything decent here for less than $20, it seems. Spectacular in every way! Best friend and I were able to return, finally, to our favorite restaurant with excellent seafood dishes and great specials. Lela has done genius job in increasing the special atmosphere with her holiday decorations and as usual was her amicable and accommodating self! Our waitress, Haley, was a gem, personable and so attentive, she kept those yummy biscuits coming. We both had the shrimp special...so delicious and a large serving of favorites, garlic, Alfredo and popcorn with seasoned fries. Even had to take some home! I had the Cajun Chicken Alfredo pasta which was so yummy. My girlfriend got the Salmon Teriyaki Bowl that she raved about! Bria was our server and she was delightful. I'm updating my review because the last time I was at Red Lobster was back in 2019. Yesterday (1/12/22), was my first day out of quarantine so my friend and I stumbled upon Red Lobster and decided to grab a bite. I've been so weary about going out to eat because it's so expensive now and customer service has significantly declined (blame covid). However, Red Lobster quelled my hesitations immediately. Our waitress, Jess, is by far the NICEST, KINDEST and most THOROUGH server I have ever had and I used to go out to eat a lot. She was very friendly but never over-stepped, helpful with providing feedback on our selections and knew just when to ask if we need anything. During difficult times like this, it is so nice to know that there are servers who truly care about customers. I have to hand it to red lobster because my two experiences thus far have resulted in amazing servers. They must have a thorough orientation process, hyper-focused on customer service. Went here on Sunday evening for dinner. It was moderately busy. I had the fish and chips while the person I was with had a filet Mignon. The cheddar cheese biscuits were very good as always. The fish and chips were very tasty but quite greasy. It was also a darker piece of fish while I was expecting whitefish since it's cod. Some parts were not really edible, closer to the tail. I wish it was a better cut because the batter was good. The service was very good and the staff was great. Parking is pretty good. Prices are average. I'd like to try more of the menu but wish the fish had been better. read more

When we entered Red Lobster, we were warmly greeted by Nanci who escorted us to our favorite table. Our server, Ari, came promptly with Cheddar Bay biscuits to take our order. She was friendly, polite and efficient throughout the meal, and checked in our progress and needs. The coconut shrimp were large and delicious. There are some new options on the Red Lobster menu that are worth a try. The food prices have gone up, but that's hardly unusual, given inflation. I thought my meal was pretty good, even if the portion sizes are smaller than in the past. I had a holiday drink that was light on the alcohol and felt like more of a dessert with chocolate liqueur and a candied marshmallow. The server was polite and came to check on us during our meal to make sure we were satisfied. The restaurant was not that busy, although it was starting to fill up at the time we went. The Red Lobster ambience is decent. The lights are dim, and I like that there are booths for privacy, which makes a nice cozy feel. Red Lobster is a dependable restaurant chain, and you pretty much know what you're getting. It was refreshing to see the menu upgrades as it's been a while since I've had something new and different there. If you're doing any shopping in the North haven area, it wouldn't be a bad idea to stop in at Red Lobster and enjoy a bite to eat. read more

My husband and I hadn't been to RL in a while so we thought we'd give it a shot, what a mistake. I ordered the seaside shrimp trio. Walt's shrimp was salty and disgusting, the shrimp alfredo was paste like, and the shrimp scampi was the only thing edible. Our server kept disappearing and she almost didn't bring a lobster shell cracker for my husband's meal. The restaurant itself is run down and the woman's bathroom was filthy. Two stalls had urine all over the seat and the floor and the third stall was occupied by one of the staff just standing inside with their phone. I could see them pressed up against the door watching me through the crack in the door. To top it off we paid around $95 with tip for this horrendous experience. Will NEVER EVER return! read more

Endless shrimp!!!!! The only time that i intentionally go to red lobster is during the endless shrimp promotion. This recent selection was great and this time it was paired with an excellent waiter/ server! The promotion is for all you can eat of your choice of 5 or so shrimp choices. It's an excellent value for around $20. My most recent visit was actually a 5 star visit with any amazing cheddar bay biscuit on top! But, i also don't want to mislead anyone by just reviewing that 1 good experience. In a previous visit, the waitress was not very friendly, actually so rude the I couldn't enjoy my dinner and the food wasn't that good. I'm not sure if the problem was just a bad recipe, or the person peparing it. On a different occasion, there was a 2.5 hour wait and I started to feel sick bcause I was so hungry and dehydrated(summertime) then after being seated, the restaurant ran out of several items and it happened to be the first 3 entrees that I had chosen plus the app that I wanted. Hopefully this place will continue moving forward with great food and great service! I had a great experience today. My husband and I had a time constraint and notified Amber, our server. She told us that she would take our order and notify the kitchen it was a rush. Our salads and entrees were served in a timely manner and she checked on us frequently to make sure we were good and didn't have any additional needs. My family and I dined here this evening as a pre-New Year's dinner. It started out good with the server, Zaniya, or Shaniya. But it soon went downhill. First, she forgot my daughter's entrée, and when we called her to ask about it, she looked almost like we had done something wrong bringing it to her attention. We still had to wait another 15 minutes for her food to come out. Therefore, my husband and I didn't feel comfortable eating our food while she's waiting, so we stop eating our dinner. By the time her food came out, our food was cold. Then I placed a to go order for my mom. Something told me to make sure I check the bag before we leave. Sure enough, they had forgotten a whole entrée. Next I go to pay the bill on the little tablet they bring to the table. She had added charges for things that we didn't order. Again we had to bring it to her attention. We understand that no one is perfect and people make mistakes. However, whatever mistake, she was never remorseful or apologetic, or seem to care. In fact she seem more annoyed that we had to bring the mistakes/missing food to her attention. The food wasn't bad, you know it's a chain restaurant, so it is what it is. The managers were very helpful and trying to rectify all of the issues. But this server, she needs to find another job because this is not it. read more

Just came today to red lobster and everything went well our waiter 'Jess' was friendly and good but she took a long time to our drinks,food and even a to-go container. She literally took 10 minutes to bring our drinks out which were 2 pepis and one ice tea but at least she was kind and did the job right but the waiting can be impatient. read more

We came in tonight with a party of 5. Ashley Chancio, our server was nothing less than amazing! Her energy was awesome. She made us feel so welcome and our visit with her was absolutely spectacular with her! She was very attentive and made sure we had a great dining experience. Our food was delivered promptly and everything we ate was very hot and delicious. I ordered the create your combo. Excellent shrimp scampi, bacon wrapped scallops and a sirloin with it. So, this is definitely a good spot. If you've never been to a Red Lobster you need to go at least once for their cheddar bay biscuits. They are slam-yo-mama good! Friends and family may let you down but I swear their biscuits will never do that, they are ALWAYS on point. So, yes, at this location, the biscuits were great. But you know what was better than the biscuits? Our waitress, Stephanie F. She was the best, she gave great recommendations and when I asked about their Long Island Ice Tea (because the chalk board up front said they are the best) she not only confirmed that but made it herself (she used to be the bartender). It was great. She was great. Get the Long Island. Anyway, last time we went to a Red Lobster some of the food was dry but not this time! I got the create-your-own combo and picked scallops and steak with a side of broccoli. The steak was cooked perfectly, the scallops were a dream, and the broccoli was nicely steamed and seasoned and it was excellent. My husband got the mixed grill (scallops, shrimp, and salmon) - he'd ordered it at a different location and was it was overcooked but here, he said it was outstanding! I am so disappointed at this Red Lobster location. First, the bathrooms were dirty and did not have toilet paper available. Second, we never got our Caesar salad. Third, we had to ask for utensils after we got our food, we had to wait additional time. Fourth, the greens beans were cold!!! Fifth, we still haven't gotten our drinks. The table next to us was having similar issues with the waitress service and requested to speak to the manager, I also spoke to the manager at that time. A few minutes later we got our drinks (tea and lemonade-nothing fancy). 8 minutes later we got our salads and 5 minutes later the hot green beans. Upon asking the manager about the plastic utensil, he said it was not a practice they were doing..... however he never brought us utensils and we got plastic utensils a second time for our salad, oh yeah- after asking for them a second time. The manager mentioned he was going to accommodate us.... the accommodation was $10 dollars off our bill...... honestly it should had been a free meal or a significant amount of the bill off. I didn't see any hand sanitizer available for the customers. I suggested the waitress be retrained. Disgraceful night....I will never visit this location again. read more

This was my first time eating at a Red Lobster anywhere, and it was both better and more expensive than I expected. I imagined the place would be like a Denny's with seafood, but it was actually a legitimate restaurant, with decor and atmosphere that felt pretty nice. Of course, it isn't fancy, and I'm sure it caters to families. Our party of eight was seated at a long table, and we were waited on by two different people, one for each end. The service was very friendly - I might even use an adjective like peppy, or perky - and I imagine that restaurant policy dictates smiles at every turn. I got some sort of shrimp and lobster combination for $22 or $23. The lobster was mediocre, which I suppose was to be expected, but it was easily edible. The shrimp was pretty good. The platter came with two kinds, one just grilled and the other a garlic shrimp scampi. Both were pretty good, though if I had to choose, the shrimp doused in garlic and butter was better, despite the actual shrimp being smaller and of lesser quality. For my sides I got some rice pilaf and steamed broccoli, and both were tasty. My boyfriend ordered blackened salmon off of the fresh fish menu, and this was well-cooked and quite nice. That said, the most delicious thing at Red Lobster has to be the basket of cheddar garlic biscuits. Though these aren't expertly baked, leaving some parts of each biscuit a little bit pasty where thick, they are undeniably addictive. They're loaded with flavor and loaded with butter. Two of these could be a satisfying meal. I heard a funny story about these biscuits. Red Lobster provides refills and as they are easy to make disappear, refills are often requested. Several of my classmates went to Red Lobster one time and asked for refill upon refill of the biscuits. Towards the end of the meal, after they had consumed several baskets, their waitress came back and informed them that the chef who had been making the biscuits had just quit. Such is the power of these biscuits. I guess in the end I wasn't impressed by Red Lobster but I got more than I expected. I don't know that I'd seek it out, but it was fun, and I would tack on to another jolly group dinner. Went to dinner with my mom last night. Talk about a fantastic meal! We gave it a 10 out of 10! My go to meal is there ultimate platter. The ice tea was freshly brewed, The cheddar bay biscuits were fresh and warm and tasty as ever. The salad was your typical Red Lobster salad that everybody loves. The brussels sprouts were absolute perfection, The side of broccoli was cooked and seasoned perfectly though the serving portion was little small and of course the ultimate platter was the ultimate! The wait staff was friendly and helpful! The floor manager came around towards the end of the meal and asked if everything was good. The restaurant was lovely and clean. The bathroom was just as welcoming. The only downfall that I can mention is the cheddar bay biscuits, though very, very tasty have decreased in size from many years ago. I suggest putting them back to the proper serving size to keep consistent with Red Lobsters standards that everyone knows and loves. read more

At first it was 20-30 minutes for a party table of 7 which is reasonable ,but turned to an hour wait. The service was average at best, and the wait time for the food was okay. The salmon wasn't what I expected it wasn't as juicy as I'm accustomed to, the lobster wasn't good at all , and the shrimp was decent. This is my first time coming to red lobster and paid $30 for this meal including a very good ceaser side salad. I didn't get any dessert though! Give the whole nice a C+ , or B-. I went for lunch and was drawn in by their daily special of only 15.99 for a 4 course meal (Salad, Soup, Entree, Dessert) that normally cost 17.99, so I went for it.l Except I asked or a Lobster Bisque (+$1 with the deal) than another soup. Firstly, I know enough of restaurant inner-workingw to know that aside from the entree, it doesn't take more than 2-3 minutes, 3-5 with a full crowd, to deliver something like a soup or a dessert, so it should take about 45 minutes, 1 hour during a busy dinner service. I ordered. I NEVER got my soup. Plus, the bill my server gave me included the +$1 up-charge! First he dropped it off, took 5 minutes to hear my complaint then another 5 before he returned. He offered to erase the $1 up-charge. Forget the fact that I was paying 15.99 for only 3 courses. He didn't understand that I got only THREE courses, not four. I reduced his tip right then when he returned and charged me full price for only 3 dishes. Also, in the 10-minutes lost in the exchange, I ended up missing the movie I had intended at 2 pm. read more

It's been a few years since I've set foot in a Red Lobster, but we stopped in for lunch over the weekend, and we were pleasantly surprised. Loved the cheddar biscuits, no surprise there. I ordered the Lobster Artichoke and Seafood Dip, my fiancee had the shrimp tacos -- both very tasty & good. Our waiter Kayshaan was friendly, witty & prompt -- we couldn't ask for better service, he was outstanding. He even gave us some drinks to go, as it was extremely hot outside that day.
