Burger and fries

I added this restaurant to yelp when they first opened and I couldn't find it on here. I just realized I never posted my review! I got a cheeseburger with fries and liked my meal okay. My dad got chicken and waffles, which he said was pretty good. I haven't been there since, but I'm hoping to make it back there and give another recent review of it. Hoping their business lasts longer than the other restaurants after the Athenian diner closed!

Carnival milkshake

I wanted to bring the kids to the "diner that makes awesome shakes " and forgot the name. It's the weatville diner! It's super clean inside. The staff there (I met three) were very kind and smiled the ENTIRE time. The food was ok- I am not a fan of shoestring fries - but the milkshakes were the BOMB. we went all out and got the cotton candy / carnival and the Oreo. I would suggest if you don't want the actual milkshake part too sweet, ask them not to put syrup inside the milkshake part. That would be the only adjustment I would make. This way the milkshake part isn't too sweet. We will be back!!

a menu for a day special

I like to support new restaurants so we decided to try the Westville diner with its present management. This group has the diner decorated the way it used to be. It was clean and tastefully arranged. The hostess was welcoming and friendly. Our elderly waitress did not have the correct information about certain dishes and did not ask anyone for accurate answers to our questions. We ordered the specials on the menu. I ordered the crabcakes with mac & cheese. My friend had a vegetable omelette. Everything looked nice, but it did not taste good. The crabcake was full of severely over cooked shrimp. The omelette came out with certain things that were specifically requested to be different. The most disappointing feature was the type of oil that evidently was used to make the omelette and the crabcakes. It left a terrible taste in your mouth and ruined the meal. You only have one chance to make a first impression and unfortunately, it was not very good today.

Blueberry pie

I used to eat at this diner when it was under different management and wanted to try it since it changed hands. The staff were very friendly and the decor is nice, spacious with blue lighting across the ceiling. The service was prompt and efficient. I ordered the Greek special that came with chicken, lamb moussaka and Greek salad, along with pita bread. The meal was healthy, a good size, and of course, tasty. I liked that the meat was cooked plain and juicy, without unhealthy additives or sauce. For dessert, I was going to order one of their ice cream sundaes but didn't realize how huge it was. You'd ideally want to share one of those with at least 3 people. I ended up with the blueberry pie; my waiter added whipped cream at my suggestion. I appreciated being able to view desserts in the glass display prior to selecting my choice, which hit the spot. Prices are reasonable. The waiter prints the check from the card reader, then you access the app from a QR code (you don't have to download the app), pay and leave. I like this better than when they hover over you with the card reader. Overall, I had a good experience eating here and would return.

"Turkey club" - absolutely ridiculous.

Will NEVER order from here again. Saw this diner had decent reviews and placed an order. Immediately found a hair in the disco fries. Unwrapped the "turkey club" to find the saddest excuse for a turkey sandwich I have ever seen. Horrible horrible experience and food. Find somewhere else to eat.

The Westville Bowl with veggie burger. I'm very impressed! It's delicious and definitely 2 meals for me. Highly recommended!

My Westville Bowl with veggie burger was delicious and delivered very quickly. Will definitely be ordering again.

Ridiculous pricing for onions and pickles.

The ambiance of the diner was nice. The carpeting really needs to be replaced - It looks like some updates were done and then stopped; it's a retro feel in the place - lots of purple, blue, silver, and bright lights. The food was good. The fries were nicely seasoned. You do get a decent portion. Highly disappointed at the fact I had to pay .79 cents each for pickles and onions on my burger. I can see if I was asking for cheese (which I did and I was alright with paying extra for) or extra meat, but for pickles and onions, that is ridiculous, or if you're going to charge, at least charge within reason. Our waitress Monika spent the entire time on her phone. Only came over to take our order and serve our food - no follow-up. That is more than likely why they are advertising for help. I did notice the other staff members focused on their customers and one bus person who was busy cleaning and assisting customers like us if they needed something. I give this woman a lot of credit because she was really going above and beyond. They are lucky to have her on their staff.

Menu

Menu is deceiving!! We ordered hungry man special doesn't come with home fries. Cajun omelette was very bland didn't taste any Cajun spice in it. Coffee was nice and hot. Service was not crazy and friendly.

My veggie panini with onion rings

Love this place! Quality food and plenty of leftovers to take home. Tried their brunch and was very impressed with their fish n grits as well as their cinnamon roll pancakes. Will continue to come back for the food and very friendly service!

Stopped here while traveling...food was amazing, service was amazing...if I'm ever back in the area, I'm coming back for the best eggs Benedict variant I've ever had!

We tried to get in yesterday but it was super crowded and we didn't want to wait amongst a lot of people (too much sickness going around). However, I wish we had gone, because our breakfast wasn't anywhere as good as today. I started with a Carmel latte which was really good. I had the croissant French toast which was utterly amazing! I have to say that I am NOT a breakfast person. I'm not a fan of eggs, but I will eat them and I hate to start the day with a sugar bomb! However, the croissant French toast was a true delight. It came topped with fresh, not frozen sugary stuff, beautiful juicy strawberries, a nice light whipped cream, and a not so sugary chocolate sauce on the side. It did have a lot of whipped cream so I loved that to the side. It was served with syrup but I didn't use any. The flavor of the croissant with the strawberries was enough for me. I barely dipped it in the chocolate. It was delectable! I've also had their Irish Benny on another trip which was amazing and the pumpkin pancakes. There is NO other breakfast place where I cannot make a decision because there are so many delicious items to choose from. And, I know that anything I choose is going to be utterly amazing. Their portions are big and their prices are very fair for what your get. I felt like I had a whole pint of strawberries on my croissant. My husband had the meat lovers omelet with oatmeal. He said everything was perfect. The staff is very friendly and very attentive. This is a typical breakfast place. It's not fancy but friendly and clean. And everyone seems happy! The kind of place I like. You have to get here early or you'll have a wait. I say the wait is well worth it. We went at 8:30 on a holiday and were able to be seated immediately. That's the first time that's happened though. I want to try their lunch, but their breakfast is so amazing, I would probably order breakfast for lunch which is something I NEVER do! If we had this place near us (we're from Philly), it would be the death of me! I'd be going all the time.

This reviewer was happy to have one of his family members mention it and there was no turning back? Bella's offers Homemade, Southern Style Comfort Food just like grandma would make? The Cafe consists of generous seating on both sides with a large bar stretching from the front door down towards the middle of the restaurant. We were sitting on the backend portion of identical tables and chairs. Our server was pleasant and friendly and our party of three were about to be very happy with what was in store for us? I was told that we had to arrive early because this popular little neighborhood nook, fills up at a moment's notice? We arrived at 8:00am and it was jamming. The menu has a large variety of breakfast and brunch options with their hours open until 3:00pm, daily I believe?? I enjoyed Bella's Corned Beef Hash with Scrambled Eggs, Homemade Grits and 2 Fresh Biscuits. Outstanding and Rib Sticking Comfort Food. If you never knew about this place before my review?
