We went for my daughter's 16th birthday -because she had seen the commercials and wanted to try it. Thankfully we checked in on-line because the wait was extensive. When we were seated (party of 6), half the table was in the dark. The server, Ashlyn, was awesome. She was quick to refill water glasses and bread basket. Unfortunately, they couldn't accommodate some dietary restrictions, which was disappointing. At first we walked in and the wait was going to be 45 min which is totally fine given the circumstances of Covid. We asked to get a drink from the bartender wheelie we waited. I give this location 5 starts. Even during Covid-19 it was pretty good. We waited a few minutes longer but basically because seating was limited. Our orders came out on time. We ordered four meals. Steak and lobster was good. Crab was absolutely horrendous, very small and so overcooked that even the shell was like rubber. Missing food items on two of the orders. Decided to just leave and asked for boxes and I had to track them down myself. They were out of to go boxes except for tiny desert ones. People shouldn't judge others by what they are wearing. Service needs to be improved and treat customers with respect. Food needs to be fresher for customer's salads. Late afternoon lunch, not too busy so we're promptly seated in a nice quiet booth. Decided not to order drinks but waitress brought us ice water and menus. Val decided on scallops and shrimp, I had a fillet and a lobster tail. Both came with two sides. We both decided on salads and both were excellent and served with fabulous biscuits! Back to the entrees, the scallops were the smallest we'd ever seen, but were tasty, the shrimp was really deep fried salad shrimp, almost tasteless! My fillet was thin but perfectly cooked and seasoned, the lobster tale was small and a little over cooked. Baked potato was a baked potato, sour cream and butter, not to much to say about a baked potato. With the tip I felt Red Lobster is pretty expensive for the quality of the food. Christmas dinner for 6, reservations. There were no holiday decorations, disappointed, we Waited about 30 minutes to get our drink order, another 30 minutes before the appetizer appeared and they were not what we ordered, took them back for another 15 minutes. Finally our dinner arrived but 2 of the orders were not what we ordered, sent back and never saw our waitress again for about 15 more minutes. One of the entrees, a 48 dollar steak and lobster was served with no drawn butter??? We asked for some and it came 15 minutes later after the lobster was cold. I never did get my dinner ( I had sent mine back because it was not what I ordered but by the time I was offered something else my friends at the table had finished their dinner. Bottom line, it was a disaster. Our meal (me and my partner) was a $100 bill for stk and lobster, 1lemonade, 1 $10 cocktail an appetizer and we were charged for two "garden salads which we did not order. We arrived on Sunday with a party of 9 people celebrating a birthday. Most opted for the endless shrimp $18.99 (comes with a side salad- choose from garden salad or Caesar salad, or a choice of soup for an additional cost). I did not order the endless shrimp, I order the shrimp tacos with a side of potatoes. I also had a choice of salad. Ordered the Caesar salad with dressing on the side. Was pretty excited about my decision, until I received my dressing. I am not quite sure what was going on with the dressing... as I flip it upside down to try to "pour" it onto my lettuce... I got nothing. It's like going to DQ to get a blizzard and you flip it upside down to see if it stays in the cup, same thing with the dressing. Except, you do not get your food for free! Showed the dressing to my server and asked for honey mustard. Food was decent. Service was pretty good. Very prompt with water refills and the shrimp refills did not take long either. Endless shrimp dinners for all! The whole family went out for dinner and we all had the same. What a deal! The shrimp just kept coming. It was all hot and all pretty good. It was kind of a bummer to know that they were out of broccoli and rice to go with the dinners. The shrimp scampi was the best... buttery goodness. Service was great and fast. I haven't been to a Red Lobster since I was a child and my experience upon visiting was lacking a lot of things... The food was OK. Biscuits were a bit dry and our server took about 20 minutes to bring them out.. I think he forgot. Speaking of our server, he was the most awkward person I've ever seen working in a restaurant. He made me feel a bit uncomfortable even. Not great customer service. Very awkward eye contact, forced conversation, etc. My fiance had a salad which came out late as well, the server said it was because they spilled his ranch...? I ordered the crab dip but I think I actually got the full seafood dip instead because the flavor and aroma of seafood was beyond intense. Tortilla chips were good. This place has minimal beer options, be prepared for that. After we got our food, we didn't see our server again until we finally flagged him down to pay.. I had to chew my ice because I had no soda left and he didn't return for any refills. Overall, it wasn't great. Plus the lighting was really weird... Super dark and cold. read more

FAVORITE RESTAURANT EVER!! Their biscuits are soft and fluffy, their salmon melts in your mouth, and their mashed potatoes are perfect! I highly recommend getting one of their family meals, even if you're just a couple. It's the most bang for your buck. My boyfriend and I ordered a family meal that was meant for 4 people for $60. So we had dinner for 2 days! It came with 3 entrees, 12 biscuits, 2 sides of mashed potatoes, and a big bowl of clam chowder which was good for 3 full servings! Literally the best takeout option ever. We would have paid $30+ per single plate but instead we paid $60 total for SO MUCH FOOD. Did not honor emailed offer. They emailed that I could get a free appetizer and dessert if I bought two of their Lobsterfest entrees, but when I called to order takeout, they spent 15 minutes explaining that they would actually charge an extra $25 for that appetizer and desert, and would require me to go to their restaurant and show them the email to see if they would be willing to honor it, and then I could place my order, and then wait the 40 minutes for the takeout to be ready in their lobby (they are apparently pretty busy). That doesn't seem very reasonable, as I'd then have to wait in their lobby for 40 minutes before leaving with my food. When I'm looking at spending $60+ for two entrees in the first place, I'm not willing to waste that much time playing games with their manager to find out if they are willing to honor the offer which they had sent me. Note: the offer was still valid, and the exact wording was "Includes your choice of appetizer, dessert and wine (where available) with purchase of 2 Lobsterfest entrees." I offered to forward this email to them so I wouldn't have to go into the store to determine whether or not they would honor it, but the manager stated that they have no outside email access. read more

We came to RL on a Saturday night to experience the heavily advertised thrill known as Lobsterfest. Despite having called - and been told that 1) they didn't accept reservations and 2) the wait would be about 45 minutes - we came out, much because the thought of juicy lobster was just too much to resist. Coming through the door should have been the first clue. The substantially-sized waiting area was standing room only. We checked in, were handed a restaurant pager, and the 45-minute waiting time was confirmed. So, having made the drive, we decided to wait. We popped our heads into the bar in the hopes of finding a bar seat - but alas, those few seats were taken as well. Heading back out to the waiting area, we spied an open bench space which we took. A few minutes later, my g/f decided to grab a beer. A few moments later, she was waving at me from the bar - seats had opened up! We took our seats at the bar and were rewarded with a smiling face and menus. (note: I know eating at the bar isn't for everyone but we actually really enjoy it so this was perfect for us) And so, on the meal. We brought a "free appetizer if you buy two lobsterfest dishes" coupon. After reviewing the menu, we found an appetizer which was .50 over the maximum noted on the coupon. Checking with our wait-person, they agreed that we could use the coupon and pay the difference. We were rewarded with wonderful biscuits, then our appetizer, consisting of stuffed mushrooms, coconut crusted shrimp, and grilled shrimp. All was very tasty (even for me, a non-coconut fan). House salads followed, nothing special, but acceptable. Then on to the main dishes. I got the Ultimate Surf and Turf, g/f got the Lobster Lover's Dream. This is where the review turns to meh. The food did look like what was on the menu, that's a good thing. But my steak, while flavorful, was overcooked. And both of our lobster entrees were overcooked and dry. For the amount of moneys spent, this should have been a FAR better dining experience than what it was. Honestly, what rescued it for us what the service we received from our waitress. She was pleasant and on the spot, and followed up nicely but not intrusively. Regardless, I doubt we'll be going back to Red Lobster. read more

I usually end up here in September for shrimp fest, but my son is a crab lover and I brought him in for the big pile of crab they lay on you. I was honestly impressed with how much he got for $18. I have a picture I will post. The waitress we had was great, but I do notice over the last year or so the system at Red Lobster is tag team the wait staff. It seems like we end up a few people bringing things out and still maintaining our regular waitress. The food was extremely slow in coming out, but I was okay visiting with son, but this was around lunch time, so had I really needed to get back to work or something, I'd have been concerned. The waitress kept coming by saying it was coming out any minute or being plated. It had been being plated for about ten minutes, sheesh. His crab was good and I had the build your own lunch and went the calamari, which was just a small portion, which was plenty of them. Most pieces were of a pretty good size, but there were still a lot of those pea size calamaris you get that are really breading flavored with calamari. Overall, not a bad place, but can be expensive for the quality of food you get. It just seems like a seafood Applebee's to me. Nothing off the charts, just corporate seafood. read more

You can mix or match and they didn't make you feel like a pig for ordering a second round. My friend and I went to Red Lobster in Gresham, OR, and the waitress was very rushed with us, as we had a hard time asking her questions about the menu because she was always rushed that we couldn't complete a question; Yet, the party that had a table next to ours, she was very patient and appeared to use customer service skills, but not with my friend and I. Also, we noticed the biscuits were not that good as they taste more like flour and was dry, and it didn't have any cheese on top or inside where we can taste some of the flavor of the cheese. The quality of their food quality went down a lot. Our food wasn't very hot, the white fried fish looks like and taste like processed fish sticks, the coconut shrimp wasn't tasty and the coconut sauce taste and looked watered down. It was such a disappointment at a restaurant that is supposed to be classy. Red lobster use to be my favorite, but not anymore. Poor customer service and low quality food, yet, they want you to pay the price of quality food and give good tips for poor service well not going to happen. We gave the waitress less than a 10% tip which we were gracious with what we gave because it could have been lowered than what we gave. We believe when others go low, we go high. Came here for shrimp fest for $18.99 and it did not disappoint. The restaurant was clean, plenty of seating, and the staff were helpful and friendly. There was prompt service at this location and the staff are really good at helping to navigate options on the menu... there's way to many things too choose from and that's not a bad thing... just a little overwhelming for me sometimes. There's a private parking lot with plenty of parking spaces. It's a chain and I go to it with that type of expectation... I don't go to this type of place and expect it to have michelin star aspects. I've really only frequented this establishment for the shrimp fest, so I can't really comment on the other menu items. I enjoyed indulging myself on unlimited shrimp to my belly's content. Everything is pretty salty and oily. The chicken tacos were great, but they had too much chipotle sauce. The southwestern shrimp tacos were dominated by corn and vegetables - very few shrimp. The shrimp Alfredo linguini is not worth $20. For $12 or $15, I'd be less critical, but it's far too salty. Servers are quirky and fun to interact with. Enjoyed the lobster extraction performance in the lobby. Dropping prices by 20% would be a great move, but they have to deal with unlimited bread cakes and other things that affect meal costs. So I'm sure the prices aren't too far off, so perhaps the taste is something to focus on initially. Clearly, people don't mind paying this much for salty food. Now just change it up. read more

I attended with my family for my sister's birthday a few weeks ago and the staff was very rude to us and we were seated so far back in the restaurant that it was hard to catch the attention of our waiter, and it wasn't even busy. I think his name was Quintin (big, tall guy with grey hair). He came back to check on us maybe twice and acted as if it was a burden to help us.
