I have the end of the year and years I have started to double check some of the places I've eaten around here to make sure I've been fact left reviews. How could I forgotten Olive Garden. The never-ending possible is usually the thing that brings me there to be honest because I'm absolute slushy, slop trash and want tons and tons of carbs and meat for a fixed price. Now I know they haven't raised their prices too much on the never-ending possible bowls, but it does seem like the quality has gone down a little bit or maybe I've gotten a little bit older. I will save the saving grace. Here is the service we've always have really good waiters and waitresses here. It is hard to justify some time spending the $20 a person or so once tipping happens for glorified store-bought ingredients. Also the fact that I mean, how much pasta can you rarely eat in a sitting if you're a normal human. I couldn't quite muster up a four star, but I would say it is leaning toward the four star if that makes sense. The location is in a pretty convenient spot for me in the staff is always real nice but really truly I would like them to step up a little bit and just get a little bit of that fresh bread and good salad vibe they have into their sauces read more

Came here today for your birthday party. The staff was exceptional and the service was very friendly, efficient and on point. I'm not a fan of the food itself. The tomato sauce that comes on almost everything taste cheap. Not what I would expect from an Italian restaurant. I eat what I had and just felt meh about my entire meal. The very good point was after our meal was over they brought us the square pastries that were incredible. I'm not sure what they were, but we had the option of three different dipping sauces. Caramel, chocolate and a raspberry. So absolutely good. I would stop by just for those. read more

Full of the elderly lunch rush bunch the ambience was quiet yet full of hushed tones. Our waitress was very kind and quick to attend to us. I've been here a few times and it's always the same, decent. The chicken Alfredo was meh, the chicken is always pretty good, very crunchy but the pasta sauce itself needs more of everything, more Parmesan, more garlic and more salt. We had an absolutely wonderful evening at **Olive Garden**, and it was truly made exceptional by our waitress, **Inez**. From the moment she introduced herself, she was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. She checked on us continually throughout the night (at least 3-4 times), made sure our drinks were always full, and paid close attention to every detail of our order -- everything came out perfect. What really stood out was how thoughtful she was with our children. She brought grapes to the table for them right when our appetizers arrived, which was such a kind and considerate touch. She treated us like family and made sure we were completely taken care of from start to finish. To top it all off, she surprised us with complimentary desserts and even sent us home with to-go teas. That level of care and generosity turned a great dinner into an unforgettable experience. Because of Inez, we will absolutely be returning -- this was hands down one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. If we could give 10 stars, we would. The food was also impeccable. The kitchen staff and entire team did an amazing job -- everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully plated. You can truly tell there's pride in the food being served. Have eaten at many different Olive Garden Restaurants from CA to OR and now, will never go back to any of them. The reason is, I've found that a lot of 'Italian' Restaurants actually have Mexican cooks and the food has changed considerably from fabulous to 'never again.' Last time I went there (few months ago), decided they're not worth it - the 'minestroni' was actually 'bean soup' - yuck!!!! The food was tasteless and heavy. The wait for service was longer than necessary as they weren't that busy and the bill was high for what we ordered. Lots of talking between servers, not a lot of action. Very small selection of meals to choose from and, never going back. read more

Came in for wife birthday Waiter was good we got are water the way we wanted, the salad came out with extra olive's and tomatoes the down side was some off the lettuce was rotten and brown there was a few cubes of lettuce that where 4 inches square and 1/2 inch thick the dressing soak the lettuce. My soups did not taste right they where bland and did not have the usual flavor profile that olive garden is noted for, We did get extra sauce with are split chicken alfredo the noodles were not cook properly ( about 6 minutes is what i figure) Then it was left under the heat lamps in the kitchen for about 10 to 15 minutes the noodles around the outside that did not have sauce on them were crisp and crunchy the chicken on my wife had way to much salt on it was overcooked. the best part of the meal was leaving with are lasagna cake. We did let management know they did offer us a gift card but we did not take it this was not the first time there food was sub par we will not be back we stop going to the mall 205 location for the same reason we did leave the waiter a 20% tip it was not all his fult but he prepared the salad and should of caught the rotten lettuce and the over bake bread sticks. Our waiter was awesome he made up for a lot of the other issues we faced, my boyfriends favorite restaurant is Olive Garden I would totally take him to a fancier place but this is literally his favorite, I called and made a reservation stating it was for his birthday, when we arrived the two hosts didn't even greet us, super rude from the beginning I told them we had a reservation, she said happy birthday and didn't mention that detail to our waiter so he didn't know it was his birthday at all, once we were getting the check I mentioned the birthday cake and he didn't even know so he said we can take it to go, not really the best but it was fine, on top of that I'm vegan and adding vegetable option is so overpriced you pay 3$ per veggie that is honestly the price for a whole bundle of broccoli, meat and cheese options are so much more expensive yet they are charging the most for the cheapest options in the store, regardless we were full. I just hate spending money with rude hosts and no regard for someone's special day, I could have spent my money elsewhere and we chose to spend a birthday at Olive Garden. I'm a customer here and a new food delivery driver. Recently, I picked up an order and the server took one look at me and asked if I spoke English? Her tone was condescending, no hello, how can I help. She just saw my skin color/race and assumed that I'm not from here and don't speak the language. Let's be clear, I'm a born and raised American who has Mexican and Portuguese heritage and I ONLY speak English. I think the Human Resources department should address discrimination with Gresham managers and employees. I will no longer be dining here as a result of the negative experience as a driver. read more

After waiting for 20 minutes for another waitress to " come on" we were seated next to the kitchen, so we had the pleasure of hearing " corner" 25 times. We went for my sons birthday, with a party of 7, but nobody asked if there was an occasion...When our waitress finally came to take our order she begrudgingly took the tablet in the middle of the table and said she would do it for us. When the waitress finally brought our orders my husband had to take the dirty dishes off our table and put them on the neighboring table to make room. For the same price( maybe less) we should have gone to one of the many independent restaurants in our area and gotten better quality service and food.won't make that mistake again read more

I love olive garden.... ok maybe i should break that down a bit....i love this olive garden... ok maybe i should break this down even further.. what i love is Zupa Toscano soup and salad and Alfredo sauce and Peach Bellini tea... and roscato and moscato.. This location is always very clean and often very busy, particularly at dinner time. I called last time because all handicapped was full but there were 9 to go spots none of which were filled. The parking lot is a bit of a walk to the front door so if you need handicapped and the spots are full it may be difficult. But i called after dropping my father off near the front door and they let me park briefly in the to go spots furthest away to help. I was impressed with this accommodation. We were seated immediately and our server was extremely attentive. The breadsticks were served warm... and the salad fresh and made exactly as ordered (yes I'm picky and like extra olives and croutons)... the soup came out fairly quickly as well. Man there are very few soups that compete to Zoopa Tuscana (sp?).... sausage, kale, potatoe and cheese with a bit of a kick in a nice broth with light cream??? Yummmmm mom LOVES their minestrone but I'm stuck on Zoopa. Olive garden consistently has fantastic Alfredo. I love that they've moved to unlimited dipping sauces if you like. So much better than the one time little container because their breadsticks with Alfredo is amazing. They can go a bit light on sauce with the pasta so ask for extra if you need it. I'm sure they don't want to waste. We were there for unlimited pasta bowl so mom was happy. I love unlimited soup and salad so i was happy. They have amazing drinks... try them all. Look im partial to the Peach Bellini tea and the sweet wines... not sure which wine to have? Ask for a sample... they will let you try 3... Well, after my last review, it's been some time since I was in last time and thought maybe things had improved sadly they have not , our server in the bar this time was very Polite, punctual, the drinks were always full, this is where the story gets sad both of our meals that we ordered Tasted Burnt Dry and we only eat 2 bites and took our Dinners home and Fed the Fur Babies Olive Garden, at least they ate... I think this restaurant just needs to coordinate the Food Quality , Drink refills and the Service all at the same time, so we may a Good Experience at least once.... I couldn't even eat the orange lettuce salad either . I just filled up on a Beer and a bunch of waters. Reminder don't drink on an empty stomach again. read more

Not much to say about the good ol' Gresham Olive Garden. Located next to Roadhouse off of Burnside, Been here probably since the 90s and honestly we've never had a problem here. We avoid coming in the weekend evenings for the crowds. . Though our visit was during the weekday and there was still a wait. All went quick and we still got prompt service- our waitress was on top of making sure we always had breadsticks!. I really like the cheese ravioli and my husband gets the chicken Alfredo. We also always get dessert- we love the Italian donuts, but also enjoy the brownie lasagna. On another occasion, my family ordered about 10 meals to go on Christmas Eve for pickup and it was all super easy to order and ready for pick up at our requested time- it was all delicious too. read more

I went in today and checked in with the host who told me it would be a 30 min wait. I received my text saying my table was ready and I checked in with the host who said someone would be right with me. After an additional 15 min I check in with the same host and she was like oops we gave your table away. I asked her 'how did this happen?' And she rudely asked 'do you want to speak to my manager?' Like no, just give me a table. After just letting her know I'm leaving and going somewhere else again she's like 'do you want to speak to my manager?' Which I said yes. Nikki, the manager apologized and said our table had not been given away and that I should just wait by the door & she would come get me but if my table was available why not just sit me down but instead had me wait which I ended up just leaving. It didn't seem like they really cared much and the hosts weren't helpful at all. Also, they messed up a previous reservation too with another party. After long day in the car our choice was to try Olive Garden. It was my first time there and it was 3/5 only. I don't think I'll come back. I'm big fan of Italian food and for me menu was really small. Italian food is much more than just pasta. Our server was good but I didn't like taste of my lasagna. For me everything tasted weird there. I cook by myself this dish and I know how it should be. I can tell that it was one of worst I tried. Sangrias was good but watermelon it's too sweet. Mine was apple one so I was happy with that. Bread is also amazing but on that nice things finished. My husband took pasta with meat and he said he didn't like it either. Server was awesome and after seeing grandkids eat the croutons out of the salad bowl, offered them their own plate of croutons . I am a retired manager and always watch how teams work together. The Olive Garden is one of those restaurants that you tend to forget about. You see their signs everywhere but never go in, and when you do, you get pleasantly surprise. They don't necessarily have vegan options, but if you put on your Alchemist hat, you can easily manage to come up with a delicious concoction of noodles, marinara, and salad. The breadsticks are also vegan; since, the butter is plant-based. Crap! I hope it doesn't have partially hydrogenated oil. The service is always good, fast, and they will try to accommodate your requests. The wine selection is good, but the beer selection could be improved. I wouldn't come here on a date night, but it's a good place to come if you want something reliable and familiar. read more

As a visitor from Hawaii, I needed to satisfy my Olive Garden craving before I headed back home. As I was in a hurry to head back to the airport to catch a flight, I asked the waitress if I could order and get my food as quickly as possible. I had the unlimited soup/salad/breadsticks and it didn't disappoint. Our server, wish I remembered her name, was quick, efficient and super friendly. Olive Garden Gresham has hit a new low. I get that there are staff shortages, supply chain issues. All of that is no excuse for being treated rudely by the host. With a near empty lobby we still had an extended wait only to be seated directly in front of a duct blowing freezing air. We asked if it was ok to move and we're told in a nasty tone it would be another 25 minute wait. I guess this is the new norm. read more

Also I love when we do go in and it just feels so good to be able to go into a family oriented restaurant. Manager came in to the area we; my wife and I; were sitting with two other occupied tables. I looked up and he looked at me then turned away and went to the next table with a male female couple and asked them how their meal was. He then proceeded to the next table with another male female couple and asked how their meal was. The Eggplant Parmesan was cooked perfect. Delicious. The bread sticks were stale. They should toss them n not recycle them. My soup was bitter. The base was fractionated. Tons of white dots. I sent it back. My stomach was churning that night. I ate papaya tablets. Next day, I knew I had Food Poisoning. Nauseous n , Black diarrhea. , that was a week ago, I am still sick. No appetite. Churning stomach. I did call n reported this to an assistant manager. He said he's had problems with old food needing to be thrown away. The chicken gnocchi soup tasted like poison.
