I really enjoy this location... ok to start in a huge Panera fan. The managers at this location are very friendly! Staff overall is great but you can tell when they're new or inexperienced with customer service. You enter a foyer and immediately see the baked goods and registers. The hot drink bar is also right there and they do a really good job of keeping the tea stocked, coffee fresh...stirrers, lids, honey etc stocked. They have a cubby container for call ins and deliveries. Then the counter to the kitchen. The drink bar is always stocked when I'm there. There are plenty of booths with plug Ins. The dining room is a rather good size L shaped. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked. Overall this location is a great location. read more

We stood there and no one asked if we needed help--we must have been invisible so we kept saying "excuse me". No notice. You know, I'm gonna go ahead and say it if you are rating big chain stores against other food you were doing it wrong everybody knows what a Burger King taste like you're reading it for the location service and the quality of what they do with what they have. You're reading a location you're not reading it against the corner store the meat market, the local mom and pop... And this store has a great stuff. It's always clean even though it's quite busy. Their machines always work and everything is on par but we're really makes it is the staff some of these ladies working here are genuine angels. We've been coming here a lot because we were offered multiple free months of the unlimited drink club and being only a block and a half from my house getting free cheap coffee and diet Pepsi. The food (the sickly portion they charge big bucks for) is badly misrepresented by the inaccurate pictures on their app. And the app decides for itself if you're not watching closely when you make selections. Another thing that's not right is the fact the prices vary wildly (bagels) and if you do want 13, make sure you're not ordering individually. You'd think the app would charge the right price if that came up. Worst part is customer service, performed by people who don't seem to be interested in keeping folks that are daring enough to be customers ! I've never been here. Looks like a great sit down restaurant that is trying to survive during C-19 by only doing TOGO items. I ordered A Whole Toasted Chipotle Chicken and Avocado Sandwich with a Bag of Kettle Chips. Pick up was a little confusing. They call your name but we didn't want to huddle with a bunch of strangers waiting for food, so we were a little away from people. They're not making people social distance at all. No problem. We enforce our own social distance. With sandwiches in bag, we strolled out to our car as there is no indoor seating options in Oregon currently. No problem. We have a Jeep. 2 of our sandwiches were not cut all the way through. No problem. Im a Chef and yes, I have knives in my life. One person got an apple... that had what liked like a fingernail puncture and bruise along with another part that looked like it was dropped also clearly not edible. The good news is that our sandwiches may not have been cut properly but tasted great. Not a sandwiche for the car but we made do. Great food, nice ambiance to work in on a laptop, SUPER FRIENDLY AND HARD WORKING staff who work here. I enjoy coming here for my subscription coffee though I'll admit am always crossing my fingers for a short line just to get my coffee. The monthly coffee subscription definitely sold me and has me coming in more frequently than I used to for coffee and a morning bagel. Really impressed by how well this Panera runs. Only comment is to see if there's a faster way to just grab the coffee and possibly expedite that process during the times a cup and permission is all I'm waiting for in line with folks ordering a ton. But that's not something I blame on this store, more a corporate Panera suggestion. Thanks again to those who work so hard to make this a well run sweet Panera to visit!! read more

Food is way over priced here especially for the tiny portions they give you. One of the staff that I interacted with was rude and the dining area was extremely dirty. As I ate the two bites of my sandwich and salad I got to listen to the kitchen staff complain about how sick of customers they were. Two of them walked out of the kitchen leaving only one brave young man to deal with customers waiting for their orders. When the other two came back they criticized him for it. The Gresham location staff is rude. Ordered double shot Americano. May as well have just emptied a packet of instant dollar tree coffee in too much water. Asked staff if maybe I got the wrong drink? After all Panera encourages customers to confront staff if the order isn't right--it says so on the receipt. Well the Gresham staff apparently didn't get the memo because they looked at me like I was crazy and one said in a snotty tone, "A double Americano is two shots with water added Hun. You have the right drink." I stood there rather dumbfounded as another barked, "Ok...do you want me to make another? A latte has milk. Or there's a cappuccino. I think that's what you intended to order." In reality, my primary disappointment wasn't the absence of milk or even the quality of their coffee. It was their attitudes. read more

I've had a couple poor experiences here. I ordered Panera for curbside pick up, after getting there at the given time i waited for 25 minutes at curbside then finally just divided to go inside. No idea what happened or why it took so long? You'd think they'd take responsibility. They also never give me any to go silver wear. I went in again a couple days ago and i have NEVER seen it so dirty. I would say at least half of the tables in there wear dirty with dishes all over them. After 30ish minutes of eating a staff member came and cleaned a couple tables. They cleared the stable of dishes but i never saw 1 table get wiped down. That's so foul and disgusting. Especially with covid i expect all tables to get wiped down and they most definitely were not doing that. read more

This is one of the slowest Panera stores I've ever seen. I travel a lot and really enjoy the menu items at Panera. I can always count on finding something fresh and healthy. However, service is a different story at this store. The line was really long to get to the cashier. I looked around and the place was only 1/3 full at the most. There were 3 to 4 employees in the back not doing much that I could tell. They all acted like it was their first day on the job. My GF and I decided to do a mobile order instead of waiting in line. We left the line and sat over by the place to pick up mobile orders. We had ordered 2 half salads. That was it. Nothing fancy, just two half salads. That was a mistake. We sat for over 20 minutes waiting for our food. Meanwhile the girls working in the back were talking about their personal lives and seeming to be having some great conversations. But no food for us. I grumbled a few times and it didn't help. Finally the manager came over and told us that our order was delayed because they didn't have a salad person as she was break or at lunch or something. If I wouldn't have prepaid I would have left. We finaly got our food. The manager was very nice and came over and asked how everything was. The food was good. It was nice she came over to check in with us. The store needs to get a little spark in it and the employees lack motivation. It's sad and frustrating to watch. I won't go back. read more

Placed an order for delivery. A Mediterranean sandwich and two loaves of bread. The sandwich was missing several ingredients, and was on the wrong bread. I requested both loaves be sliced. One loaf was perfect. A recognizable sliced loaf of bread. The other one had been sliced, but the slices were then separated, and shoved haphazardly into the plastic bag. The other loaf was a dense, heavy loaf that was placed on top of the other items in the bag, squashing them. I sent an email to Panera. There has been absolutely no response from them. The warm bowl I ordered was just a little over a cupful in the bottom of the bowl. The bread sent with it had actually started to mold and the frozen strawberry lemonade was just cold, not frozen. I live in an area that has mostly restaurant chains. It's usually your hybrid of canned corporate food that only uses the most natural ingredients (natural not as in real, but as in it exists in the real world) places. Whatever. As far as this corporate chain they've got their lingo as well as their "type" of what they consider good food. And it's not all that bad really either. I have eaten here a couple of times and while I don't crave coming back here it's a good option under the chain category. They've got "healthy" choices that are not loaded down in empty calories. There's the "broth bowls" one being with soba noodles and vegetables. Then they have pasta like mac and cheese (under unhealthy of course). There's sandwiches that consist of their baked bread and some actually have vegetables besides lettuce and are not all loaded with cheese and meats. I like the fact that it's some sort of a bakery. The breads seem fresh and there are some healthy choices on those shelves. They have your goodies/pastries. I'll pick up some bread to go with a soup I made at home sometimes. Bottom line is I can find something to eat here as there are vegetarian, and even vegan options. My favorite part of this restaurant is that they have the calories on the menu so you can make a choice whether to say the hell with it and throw caution to the wind. Ya I'll have one of those pastas that are 980 calories. Heck I did not break 1000 on that so.. It won't kill you today right? read more
