They were very busy in a Friday night but we were sat immediately. I ordered the kids chicken tenders for my son and the Endless Shrimp with a Strawberry Margarita. The got those cheesy, buttery baked biscuits to start and our drinks came slightly after. Now, I placed my son's order with our drinks, if you have kids, you know. They took his order to the wrong table and they had to remake it. We didn't get his order until my third order of shrimp came out. He happily ate 3 biscuits but we wasted our money on his meal because he hardly touched it by the time it reached the table. For endless shrimp, you can pick from five selections (fried shrimp, shrimp scampi, marry me shrimp, coconut shrimp and shrimp linguine Alfredo) and one side. I started with the scampi, fried and marry me options with a loaded baked potato. I was not a huge fan of the marry me shrimp, the sauce was breaking down and there were too many breadcrumbs so I stuck to the scampi and fried shrimp. First off , I've been in the mood for those biscuits, and they were a solid 10/10. Absolutely hit the spot. I'd also been hearing about the crab legs, so I had to stop by during Lobsterfest and ordered the Mariner's Seafood Boil and I'm so glad I did. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and worth the visit. A special shoutout to our waitress, Raquel -- she was amazing. Super attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. The manager on staff (Friday 4/17/26) also came by to check in and made sure everything was top tier, which I really appreciated. Such a childhood staple that I often forget about. I was craving some of the cheddar bay biscuits and me and my mom decided to drop in for dinner. We arrived and a table for two took about 30 minutes and it was wall to wall people. They added us to the list and sent us a text when our table was ready. Our waitress was attentive but very overwhelmed even though she was managing the bar, making drinks, and waiting on the whole bar area. She was as attentive as she could be, often times checking in to make sure we were okay. The drinks we ordered came fast but the salads took about 30 minutes which was longer than expected. Then our entrees took about 40 minutes from the time we received the salads. It was clear that the kitchen was backed up but I will say the food arrived fresh and hot. Ate here for lunch, they didn't disappoint! We ordered the starter, Lobster Flatbread, which was delicious. Fresh loster with mozzarella cheese, basil, and tomatoes. I always loved Red Lobster! Took myself out for date night and the meal did not disappoint. I ordered the lobster tail and shrimp plate. The lobster tail seemed to be a bit over cooked however, it was seasoned well so I overlooked that. The shrimp was delicious. The pasta had shrimp and lobster. Seemed like the lobster in the pasta was cooked better than the tail. Because it was a holiday weekend, there was a 20 minute wait so I sat at the bar. Great service, good food, good drinks. Well this was an experience, and unfortunately not a good one. My wife had tried to call the restaurant to reserve a table for 8 people, but was told she must reserve online. She attempted to reserve a table online but the website said any parties 7 or more, you must call. Seems whoever answered the phone doesn't understand the reservation policy. Frustrated my wife was like, were just gonna show up. We arrived on a Thursday evening moments after 730pm. A few in our party arrived earlier and were told the wait would be 45 minute wait, which we thought wouldn't be that bad. We decided to wait at the bar and order drinks while we waited for the table. The drinks took a good bit, the bartender never addressed us, though there were only 2-3 people at the bar, we were finally able to get drinks when the manager stepped behind the bar and helped out. As we waited for our table. We noticed many many tables were left un-bussed for our entire wait. 45 min turned into 60, then 70. Still with nothing. We had members of our party recheck with the host multiple times, then eventually they said they were waiting for a table to be bussed, which took another 20 min and there was zero urgency to flip the table. Servers and other workers walked right past what was our future table while it was covered in dirty plates. After about 90 min, right at about 9pm we finally were sat. The manager did apologize for the wait and had mentioned that they had many graduation groups on this Thursday evening, but otherwise the restaurant was not very busy. Once sat we ordered more drinks, and again they took longer than they should from the bartender, but our waitress was the one saving grace of this long experience so far. She was very personable and was as quick as she could be. She did bring us cheddar biscuits quickly to help our hungry group. We eventually ordered food at about 9:20, and our food started arriving at about 10pm, right as they were officially "closing". Most of the food that came out was fine, though plating looked lazy to very poor. My brother got the stuffed flounder and his comment was it looked and smelled like garbage, he barely ate it, but complaining and getting a new dish just felt like too much for all of us. I got the ultimate meal, with two lobster tails, a shrimp skewer, and shrimp linguini. The skewers were dry and over cooked, but alas it was 10:15 by this point and sending anything back felt fruitless as we were past closing time. We finished up at about 10:45, 3 hours and 15 minutes after we arrived. As a group we all agreed, this was the last time we'd visit Red Lobster. Our wonderful server was the only reason my review is 2 stars, I hope she finds employment with a better restaurant, she'd do well. read more

New menu but same SLOW service. Normally I don't give this type of review but this place really needs to work on a few things. We waited 30 mins for a seat when we could clearly see seats available. Once seated we waited 45 mins for the food to come out only to get the wrong order. We waited another 10 mins for the manager to come to our table. Initially he said said he would not change the price of my meal but he would rather take off our drinks and in his words that's the best he could do for us. (Insulting) I replied I'm sure people dispute bills all the time in an effort to get something for nothing but you have to understand I am not complaining about the taste or anything like that. My meal was supposed to have a lobster and shrimp however it only had crab legs & it was extra spicy when In order medium spice so I could barely eat the crab legs. I knew we could not sit and wait another 45 mins for them to remake the order. So my husband spoke up and asked so you want us to pay for something we did not receive? The manager then replied oh well I didn't get the full story so I will take the meal off. In the end he was apologetic but please don't treat people like you're doing them a favor when clearly it was a mistake on your end. The waitress never gave refills or picked up the pile of biscuit and salad plates. There seemed to be about 10 or more people working so as a former waitress I just don't get the time lapses and slackness. But when my friend Michael allowed me to use the Amazon credit I received on returning a birthday gift he gave me for whatever I like, I happened to notice a $25 gift certificate to Red Lobster. I like seafood. I used to go years ago. So, what the hell Nancy and I are trying to watch our weight and we noticed that Monday night is unlimited shrimp at Red Lobster. Wow! We decided to give it a shot. I was surprised how empty it was when we arrived. For $22 you can eat all kinds of shrimp dishes which is not a bad price these days. Anyway, we were quickly seated and attended to. It killed us but we told them to hold off on the cheese biscuits. There's no way we would be able to watch our weight with those biscuits sitting there. We had fun. We had grilled skewers . We had shrimp and garlic sauce. We had pasta and shrimp and there were several other options that we never got to. What really surprised me and impressed me was the waiter was more than happy to give me a to-go box that I filled with a whole skewer of shrimp and my pasta. It was nice to leave a restaurant feeling full and know that you were pretty good on your diet. I must have been in an open mood from all that shrimp because Nancy and I shared some confidences that we never had before. Nothing like shrimp and a good friend. So, all you dieters. Never say you cannot go out to eat and be good and have plenty. I recommend Red Lobster and their Monday night unlimited shrimp. And this comes from somebody who hates chains! read more

Service was terrible, me and my partner made a reservation for 7:45pm on Saturday. When we arrived at 7:35pm they were just beginning to seat guests who had a reservations, nearly two hours prior, at 6:00pm. We were highly upset that whey were not truly honoring the reservations made by guests, especially seeing how there were visibly emptied and cleaned tales throughout the restaurant. We went here for our first Valentines together, but this experience has totally driven us away from this establishment. If given the choice, we recommend going to other establishments. read more

We came here to celebrate my niece's graduation. Our group started with 10 people and grew to 15, but the staff graciously and quickly accommodated us. Our server was very friendly and impressively managed our large party mostly on her own. All of the food arrived hot, and more importantly, it was delicious. Most of our group ordered various pasta dishes and had nothing but good things to say. I had the lobster duo and discovered my new favorite Red Lobster side, the crispy Brussels sprouts. They are a perfect addition to the menu,,, so good, I ordered an extra to take home! Arrived at 7:30, did not leave till almost 11pm. Which is an hour after closing. I don't normally write reviews with any time stamp, but I just have to on this one. We came as a group of 8 for our annual Lobster Night which we have enjoyed at the Red Lobster for the past many years. We knew we'd have a wait as a big party, no problem, we were told 45 minutes as they had some other larger groups due to Graduation celebrations, etc. but this wasn't a weekend, it was a Thursday night. We were all in and optimistic. We went to the bar to get a drink while we waited. This is where I first noticed bad signs. Tables in the bar area sat unbussed for 30+ minutes with leftover food and plates as well as bar glasses just piling up on the side of the bar. It was clear the place was understaffed which I know is a big problem most places since COVID. The bartender was doing her best but we waited a while to get our drinks ordered and then were only eventually made with the help of the Manager. 45 minutes passed, then an hour, then an hour and fifteen. We could see an eight top table sitting unbussed for almost 30 minutes. Clearly no since of urgency to be cleared and seat us. Which we couldn't understand. Even when we nicely asked status they said they were waiting for someone to be available to buss it. We watched waitstaff, hostess, and manager walk by it so many times. When they started it was legit just grabbing but one item at a time. I just wish they would have been honest on original wait time cause we would of just cut out losses. Or just take inventory after a bit, be honest with guests and say y'all this ain't happening way sooner. I would have been sad but respected that. By the time we're finally sat the restaurant it was almost 9pm. I know many would say why didn't you just leave??? One we just kept thinking it was gonna happen sooner and sometimes you are just in too deep to walk away. Two I am a sucker for tradition and this annual gathering with my friends matters to me. But I can say we won't be back. Annual Lobster Date will evolve to something else. I try to be very understanding of the current situation effecting a lot do businesses but everyone has limits. We were never rude to anyone but this was too far. Even once seated and finally got orders in, drinks and food took a long time arriving about 10pm which is when the restaurants closes. Thank god for cheddar biscuits. Also due to it being so late things we wanted were long longer available (RIP baked potato). The only thing that stopped this experience from being a legit 1 star was that despite the very late hour of getting handed a 8 top of very hungry diners, our waitress was sweet as could be and really tried to turn things around for us. Also my food was actually good. Maybe I was just so legit starving, I mean it had been like 2.5 hours since we arrived. Others didn't have that same experience with some as their food was poorly plated or of poor quality. I got the Ultimate Feast which gave me two premium entrees(a lobster tail, scallops), two regular entrees (grilled shrimp skewer and shrimp Alfredo), and two sides for like $43 bucks. Actually a good deal for seafood these days. When we finally walked out of this place close to 11 pm, we felt like we had gone through all of the emotions. Thank god for an amazing and funny group of friends that decided that this experience bonded us for life. It was graduation night, so our crew expected a little craziness, but we arrived at 7:20 and did not have food until 10:00 p.m. After waiting in the bar area for a HWHILE, we watched as a table that could accommodate our party (8) emptied but stayed un-bussed for 45 minutes. It didn't seem that chaotic--just busy--so we were fairly confused. Once the table was bussed--after the manager tried their best--we were sat. Because it was late and we had a sizable party, it was still a while til we got our food. Look, there are good nights and bad nights. This was a bad one that had some small parts salvaged. My family and I had reservations made a week prior at Red Lobster in Greensboro, NC out on Wendover for 10 people February 14, 2025. Our reservations was for 7:30pm, we arrived punctually 7:10pm to be told we had a two hour wait, along with the kitchen being back up with orders, To our dismay we were told that we would be contacted when our time to be seated was available. I received an email at 2:00am saying the restaurant had cancelled our reservations. Absolutely no other communication was received about our being seated or status of our being seated that evening. We received unsatisfactory treatment from this Red Lobster and should be addressed with some measure of kindness and not just swept under the rug with "just had a bad evening - oh well - not! Kudos: Thus reservations were made at the Tripps Restaurant (across the street) spur of the moment for our group and was shown excellent service, I just would like to say. They were crowded as well but our wait was 22 minutes ( received updates about our being seated until we were seated) and after we were seated food out speedily very very good. This isn't my first visit to this Red Lobster but it is the first since COVId. I stopped in for a quick lunch. It has been anything but quick. My waiter was double sat with me and another table at the same time so I definitely cut him some slack. While I was sitting, the poor guy got double sat again. I'm not sure if this is common policy at red lobster but it is definitely making this waiters life more challenging than necessary. Once I ordered, the lunch special shrimp scampi, I expected it to be quicker. The salad came out quickly and tasted great. But lunch took about 30 minutes and wasn't hot, more warm. There were few customers in the building, but long wait times. About an hour for a party of 7, but the area we were in had at least 6 empty tables/booths. We come here often, this this location. Have visited at least 10 times, and they always treat us well. They are very short staffed but are actively hiring and training right now.
