    Lobster Flatbread
    Tyrone T.

The wife and I used to sneak away during the day and go to this Red Lobster. The food and service was always good until it start declining. The rebrand of Red Lobster has totally different menu which we loved. I had the lobster flat bread and it was great. The only complaint would be they had the AC set for an icy tundra so we almost froze!

My waiter was very polite. I ordered a loaded baked potato with grilled salmon, shrimp and lobster and asparagus. The salmon was grilled and seasoned to perfection. My lobster melted in my mouth. And the shrimp were awesome too. Red lobster had not lost his touch.

Stopped in for a quick bite with my wife and wow had a great server (Cadey ). A real example of customer service. Payed attention to detail(ie no cheese on salad). My steak was great! The restaurant good Very quite not crowded but not slow. Will be back soon

Ate here for lunch, they didn't disappoint! We ordered the starter, Lobster Flatbread, which was delicious. Fresh loster with mozzarella cheese, basil, and tomatoes. I ordered the Sesame-Soy Salmon Bowl which was amazing. I typically dislike brussel spouts but these were seasoned and crispened, adding a burst of flavor to the dish. The salmon was ginger glazed and tender. My husband had the Wild Caught Flounder and fries with slaw as a side. It was tasty as well. Our waitress was extremely attentive and seated us quickly. It did take awhile for our drinks to arrive but it appeared no one was attending the bar. Nice atmosphere and clean. Will definately visit this location again.

I want to say we came for the glorious garlic and herb butter biscuits and they did not disappoint! They'll just keep bringing them too! Our service was amazing! My best friend even got a free dessert brought out for her birthday. The restaurant was fresh and clean! What I want to highlight is how amazing my food was. I do not eat fish or seafood but it was my best friend's birthday and her request. The land lovers food is always outstanding! I was super impressed by my chicken Alfredo! Our waitress even brought us biscuits to go since we love them so very much!

The restaurant was busy, but once we was seated and our Waitress came over, she was very pleasant and friendly. The atmosphere was nice, we enjoyed the music playing in the background and the food was great. My friends and I enjoyed. Even while waiting to be seated a worker leaving for the day came by and we laughed and talked with her. She was tired but still greeted us on her way out with a great attitude and a smile! We had lobster dip which was delicious!

The food and service were amazing from start to finish. Our server, Trishona, was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything came out perfectly. The Ultimate Feast was fresh and flavorful, and the salmon was cooked perfectly. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was relaxing, and we never felt rushed. Definitely one of the better Red Lobster experiences I've had. Thank you again for the great service!

We went in for a late lunch. It was mostly empty. Sarah was our server. She was very attentive and pleasant. I tried the lobster flatbread and really enjoyed it. Mom loved her stuffed flounder dish, which had a generous portion to allow for leftovers.

My wife and i enjoyed our meal at Red Lobster in Greensboro. The service was really good, the food was delicious also. My wife and I got different combinations of the same meals. So between us we had popcorn shrimp, grille shrimp, and shrimp linguine Alfredo. Parking was easy and I was glad to see the restaurant more crowded for a change

I always loved Red Lobster! Took myself out for date night and the meal did not disappoint. I ordered the lobster tail and shrimp plate. The lobster tail seemed to be a bit over cooked however, it was seasoned well so I overlooked that. The shrimp was delicious. The pasta had shrimp and lobster. Seemed like the lobster in the pasta was cooked better than the tail. Because it was a holiday weekend, there was a 20 minute wait so I sat at the bar. Great service, good food, good drinks. No complaints. And of course I took some cheddar biscuits home!!

Well this was an experience, and unfortunately not a good one. My wife had tried to call the restaurant to reserve a table for 8 people, but was told she must reserve online. She attempted to reserve a table online but the website said any parties 7 or more, you must call. Seems whoever answered the phone doesn't understand the reservation policy. Frustrated my wife was like, were just gonna show up. We arrived on a Thursday evening moments after 730pm. A few in our party arrived earlier and were told the wait would be 45 minute wait, which we thought wouldn't be that bad. We decided to wait at the bar and order drinks while we waited for the table. The drinks took a good bit, the bartender never addressed us, though there were only 2-3 people at the bar, we were finally able to get drinks when the manager stepped behind the bar and helped out. As we waited for our table. We noticed many many tables were left un-bussed for our entire wait. 45 min turned into 60, then 70. Still with nothing. We had members of our party recheck with the host multiple times, then eventually they said they were waiting for a table to be bussed, which took another 20 min and there was zero urgency to flip the table. Servers and other workers walked right past what was our future table while it was covered in dirty plates. After about 90 min, right at about 9pm we finally were sat. The manager did apologize for the wait and had mentioned that they had many graduation groups on this Thursday evening, but otherwise the restaurant was not very busy. Once sat we ordered more drinks, and again they took longer than they should from the bartender, but our waitress was the one saving grace of this long experience so far. She was very personable and was as quick as she could be. She did bring us cheddar biscuits quickly to help our hungry group. We eventually ordered food at about 9:20, and our food started arriving at about 10pm, right as they were officially "closing". Most of the food that came out was fine, though plating looked lazy to very poor. My brother got the stuffed flounder and his comment was it looked and smelled like garbage, he barely ate it, but complaining and getting a new dish just felt like too much for all of us. I got the ultimate meal, with two lobster tails, a shrimp skewer, and shrimp linguini. The skewers were dry and over cooked, but alas it was 10:15 by this point and sending anything back felt fruitless as we were past closing time. We finished up at about 10:45, 3 hours and 15 minutes after we arrived. As a group we all agreed, this was the last time we'd visit Red Lobster. Our wonderful server was the only reason my review is 2 stars, I hope she finds employment with a better restaurant, she'd do well.

New menu but same SLOW service. Normally I don't give this type of review but this place really needs to work on a few things. We waited 30 mins for a seat when we could clearly see seats available. Once seated we waited 45 mins for the food to come out only to get the wrong order. We waited another 10 mins for the manager to come to our table. Initially he said said he would not change the price of my meal but he would rather take off our drinks and in his words that's the best he could do for us. (Insulting) I replied I'm sure people dispute bills all the time in an effort to get something for nothing but you have to understand I am not complaining about the taste or anything like that. My meal was supposed to have a lobster and shrimp however it only had crab legs & it was extra spicy when In order medium spice so I could barely eat the crab legs. I knew we could not sit and wait another 45 mins for them to remake the order. So my husband spoke up and asked so you want us to pay for something we did not receive? The manager then replied oh well I didn't get the full story so I will take the meal off. In the end he was apologetic but please don't treat people like you're doing them a favor when clearly it was a mistake on your end. The waitress never gave refills or picked up the pile of biscuit and salad plates. There seemed to be about 10 or more people working so as a former waitress I just don't get the time lapses and slackness. This was not the first time yet this is the only time we spoke up because it's just utter nonsense at this location and I have no plans to ever go back even if someone paid me to go I'm sure I'd say no thank you.

The daily specials are enticing; especially unlimited shrimp on Mondays!!

We started with the hanging bacon and Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. The bacon was soo good & flavorful. It tastes like it has a sweeter maple glaze on it. The bacon comes with croissants too. I'm not a huge croissant person but wow these were really fresh & so flaky. The Philly cheesesteak egg rolls really surprised me because I didn't expect to love them so much. They had a lot of flavor & were so crispy. They came with 2 sauces - a sweet & spicy chilli sauce & then a creamier sauce. Both were amazing & paired really well with the egg rolls. For my meal, I had a salad with a side of fries. The salad was delicious - it also comes with a croissant. The fruit in the salad was so fresh & some of the blackberries were huge. It also had goat cheese, candied pecans & dried cranberries. I ordered it with the raspberry vinaigrette per our waiter's recommendation and it was the perfect dressing. The fries were shoestring fries & had the perfect amount of salt & crispiness. Everyone else in my party ordered the prime rib & they all agreed it was exceptional. For dessert I tried the tiramisu affogato and it was perfect. It had vanilla ice cream & mascarpone - the mascarpone was a nice touch. Our service was amazing too. Our waiter had a lot of recommendations & you could tell she genuinely enjoyed the food there, which is always a good sign. She was quick to bring us refills and very attentive. This is definitely my new go to for a nice meal or celebration!

Update from my review 7 months ago…read more.. I've been back a couple more times since my last review, and my overall sentiment hasn't changed. If anything, the quality and assembly of the food have become more noticeable with each visit. On my first visit, I ordered the Southern Flare CAB Burger, so I decided to give it another shot. I started with the Caesar salad, which was fine--pretty much the same as I remembered. I customized my burger by removing the tomatoes and asked for the buns to be toasted a little extra to help keep the bread from getting soggy too quickly. Sadly, that wasn't done and the bottom bun was done almost. As soon as the burger arrived with the shoestring fries, I noticed the red pepper cheese dip was very heavy-handed. After cutting the burger in half, I realized why. The lettuce never stood a chance (see photos). I managed to eat one half, but the second half was beyond saving. For me, once I'm eating a burger with a knife and fork because it's falling apart, it's time to let it go--and that's exactly what I did. The menu isn't very extensive, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But when you have the menu they have, the items on it really need to be consistently executed. It may be worth either expanding the menu a bit or replacing some dishes if improvements aren't being made. At this point, I think future visits will be for the appetizers... and the wine. Those seem like the safer bet.

I threw the suggestion out to Sally and she thought it would be fun to try something new so she picked me up, we got on Gate City Boulevard and drove west until we found this place in a small strip mall. The outside won't necessarily draw your attention, but once you step inside this simple takeout/ dine in spot, the experience is totally different. As soon as we walked in we were approached by a gentleman who must have been the owner. He was incredibly kind and appreciative of our patronage. He explained all the dishes and a little bit about the company itself. This guy was full of pride about Seafood Destiny and I was impressed. Besides dining inside, they offer takeout and catering services. He was particularly proud of some of his dishes and when he told me that the crab legs was a special tonight for $20, I knew that was the best fit for me. You pay at the counter after you choose your selection and then have a seat and wait for your food to arrive. We were the only ones in the restaurant, although I did see a few people pop in for takeout. I could not help but wonder with it being so empty whether the great reviews would match up to what they claimed. I got my Diet Coke from the fountain machine with unlimited refills which always makes me happy. After chatting for a while with Sally, this huge plate came my way. The crab legs special for $20 was amazing. Not only did it have plenty of crab legs, but it came with a half-dozen beautiful shrimp with excellent seasoning, turkey sausage, corn on the cob and delicious scalloped potatoes. I ordered a side of asparagus. Although it was tasty. I don't know if the asparagus was worth $5. On the other hand, the main dish was a real bargain!! The food was delicious. Sally ordered salmon with pasta and loved her dish as well. I just ate and ate and ate and ate and eventually devoured the entire dish. Boy, that was good. No doggy bag here! We were each served a special dipping sauce from the Seafood Destiny. It was sweet and tasty but I was happy to just devour the fish as is. It was well seasoned and scrumptious While we were eating, a young man came out to chat with us. Something told me he was the son of the owner or he was indeed the manager or both lol. We had a nice chat about the place and it's history and he really appreciated our visit and hoped we would spread the word. I will! We arrived at 6:30 and before we knew it it was 8:00 and the place was beginning to close. I devoured my last crab leg, got a refill on my diet Coke and we headed out. Both Sally and I discussed on the way home what a delicious meal that was, how lovely the owners and staff were and what a shame that there not more people in the restaurant. I am hoping that was a fluke on a Tuesday night because Seafood Destiny definitely deserves customers. The place was simple, but the welcoming staff, the good priced seafood meals, the plentiful portions, and most of all, seeing the incredible pride and love the owners put into this place made it a winning combination for me I'm always a big fan of family owned operations and Seafood Destiny deserves your patronage. Whether it's shellfish or salmon or grouper, I highly recommend you head over to this place. As unassuming as it is on the outside, the inside was a delicious and welcoming experience!. I will be back and I hope to see you there!

Unfortunately, this visit was a huge disappointment. We've had incredible experiences at another Full Moon location. Unfortunately, this visit was a huge disappointment. We ordered grilled oysters, a pound of shrimp (peeled and deveined), and a half-pound of king crab legs, items we're very familiar with and order often. The grilled oysters didn't seem grilled at all. They looked strange, had very little butter, and were almost completely flavorless. The shrimp was another letdown. It was under-seasoned, wasn't peeled or deveined as ordered, and was gritty. We also never received the corn that was supposed to come with the boil. We could have mentioned it, but by that point we were already so disappointed that we didn't bother. The king crab legs were clearly not fresh. The shells were so old and pliable that they bent instead of cracking properly, and the inner membrane stuck to the meat. We didn't eat it. They made another order which was the same. Our waitress said they don't receive orders for the KC often so they may have been old. Ummmmm! The service didn't help the experience. The staff seemed standoffish from the beginning. Our food was dropped off without any explanation or follow-up, and we had to ask for everything we needed instead of anyone checking on us proactively. However our waitress was happy to help us remove the crab from our bill and she was pleasant. We know this isn't representative of every Full Moon Oyster Bar because we've had fantastic meals at another location. That's what makes this experience even more disappointing. We were celebrating a special occasion and left wishing we had chosen somewhere else.

This is not only my top seafood boil bag place in the city butttt this is also where I go when I'm craving raw oysters like tonight. My hands are always messy here so I'm never able to get photos but I don't think I need evidence of the glutinous activities I divulge in here. Tonight I had a dozen and a half of oysters for my starter with garlic butter and lemon pepper boil sauce on the side & extra extra lemons and let me tell you they did not disappoint. They're usually bigger but it is winter so I won't complain. The bar is always hit or miss hence the missing star and tonight it was a miss for me. I order the gone fishing fish bowl and asked for extra sour it was extremely flat and felt like it was missing something. They definitely didn't add the extra sour either. I gave the drink to my companion as not to waste but it wasn't worth it. For my boil bar I had craw fish and green mussels in Gallic butter and Cajun hot with a side of rice and eggs. It was phenomenal per usual. Very consistent and delicious. The restaurant was great tonight. Friday. On the weekends it can get extremely loud when they are doing live music. Those are my least favorite nights. You have to yell over the music to hear the person right next to you. But tonight the music was at an appropriate volume. ( at the point when the boil came out my hands had oyster on them but it was amazing I promise )

This place... is one of our top two places in Jamestown. (The other is Simply Thai right across the…read morestreet.) Actually in the surrounding area too. Between excellent service, from the host to the kitchen staff, and being a bright, cheery place decorated in a modern farmhouse feel (only complaint is the HARD seating), we love this place. The food is always delicious and seasoned perfectly with FLAVOR. For the appetizer, the Salad Pizza is absolutely scrumptious and was recommended by our server our first visit here last year. Honestly, it keeps bringing us back. The flavors are incredible. It has feta, mozzarella, topped with organic greens, shaved onions, tossed in a lemon/dijon dressing with shaved parmesan. It's a flavor bomb in the mouth. The meatloaf, is to die for. If you're a meatloaf eater this is for you. It's so tender and juicy and perfectly seasoned. Melts in your mouth and the sauce on top is the perfect blend of sweet and savory to top it off. For my two sides this time I chose the fried brussels sprouts and the greens. The greens are always seasoned perfectly and the brussels sprouts were crispy and full of flavor. They tasted even better dipped in my meatloaf sauce so that was a win-win. My boyfriend had the special which was short ribs. For his two sides, he had greens and green beans. The short rib was perfectly tender and absolutely delicious full of flavor and moist for him. The green beans and the greens were also perfect as well full of flavor, just enough fat and butter. It's a great little date spot or a family dinner. They also have outdoor seating covered with umbrellas. There's a bar inside with a TV if you choose to go watch sports and the food here is always on point full of flavor and makes you want to come back and try more things on the menu. You can't go wrong at southern roots.

We had a great experience at Southern Roots. Between the table, we tried the Gouda Pimento Dip,…read moreshort ribs, the Granny Smith salad with shrimp, and the crab-stuffed trout. Everything was delicious, although my partner wasn't a huge fan of the short ribs. The trout and salad were both excellent. The cheese dip was delicious. The sides were a standout, especially the Parmesan spaghetti squash, which I highly recommend. We had to put some extra salt on the sides, but that's purely personal preference. They also had several reasonably priced drink specials, which was a nice surprise. The service was amazing--friendly, attentive, and a big part of what made the meal so enjoyable. Overall, a really solid dining experience, and I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.
